WR'S JUMBO BLOCK BETWEEN SANTACRUZ AND MAHIM STATIONS ON SUNDAY, 31st DECEMBER, 2017
A jumbo block will be taken from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs o­n Sunday, 31stDecember, 2017 o­n Up & Dn fast lines between Santacruz and Mahim stations for maintenance of track, signaling and overhead equipments. During the block all Up & Dn fast line trains will run o­n Up & Dn slow lines between Santacruz and Mahim stations. Due to this block some suburban services will remain cancelled, the list of which will be available at all stations.
Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

Anubhuti Coach in Pune-Secunderabad-Pune 12025/12026 Shatabdi Express
Central Railway will augment the Shatabdi Express running between Pune and Secunderabad with o­ne Anubhuti Coach with effect from 25.12.2017.
The composition of Shatabdi Express after augmentation of Anubhuti Coach will be Nine AC Chair Car and o­ne Anubhuti Coach.
Basic Special Features of Anubhuti Coach:
·Facility of ergonomically designed seat
·Improved modular toilets with hands-free taps
·Automatic IC sliding doors
·Overhead reading light for individual seat
·GPS based passenger system
·Diffused LED lighting
·Special exterior painting with anti-graffiti coating
·Higher Speed potential, etc.
Fare Structure of Anubhuti Coach:
·Fare of Anubhuti coach shall be 1.2 times Executive Class Fare of Shatabdi Train
·Other charges like reservation fee, superfast surcharge, GST, etc. as applicable shall be levied separately.
·Normal child fare rules will apply.No concessional tickets and tickets against free complimentary passes which are not fully reimbursed shall be admissible in Anubhuti coach.
·Booking of tickets against passes issued to Members of Parliament and Rail Travel Coupons issued to MLA/MLCs shall be permissible as they are fully reimbursed.
·Full fare defence warrants shall be allowed for exchange as per the actual fare.
Reservation: Bookings for trip o­n 25.12.2017 will open from 24.12.2017 (after 15.00 hrs) and for further trips bookings will open from 25.12.2017.For booking purposes in Anubhuti coach the passenger has to select Train no as 22025 for Pune-Secunderabad Shatabdi Express till further notification.

4 SUBURBAN SPECIAL TRAINS o­n NEW YEAR EVE
Central Railway will run 4 suburban special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai - Kalyan and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai - Panvel o­n 1.1.2018 (after the midnight of 31.12.2017) for the benefit passengers o­n the occasion of New Year Eve. These suburban special trains will run stopping at all stations. The details are as under-
MAIN LINE SPECIALS:
1. Kalyan Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 01.30 hrs and arrive Kalyan at 03.00 hrs.
2. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Special will leave Kalyan at 01.30 hrs and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 03.00 hrs.
HARBOUR LINE SPECIALS:
3. Panvel Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 01.30 hrs and arrive Panvel at 02.50 hrs.
4. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Special will leave Panvel at 01.30 hrs and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 02.50 hrs.

Increasing Unreserved Passenger Coaches In Railways 
To cater to the needs of passengers of un-reserved segment following endeavours have been made by the Indian Railways:-
(i)      As a matter of policy, it has been decided that all the Mail/Express trains (except fully reserved trains like Rajdhani, Shatabdi, Duronto, etc.) introduced after 2007-08, shall have at least 6 general class coaches in their standard composition as per feasibility.
(ii)      Operation of fully unreserved services like Jan Sadharan, Janseva, Jan Nayak Express etc. to facilitate un-reserved segment of passenger. In the Railway Budget 2016-17, it has been further announced to introduce Antyodaya Express, which are long-distance, fully unreserved, superfast train services. Accordingly, of the 11 pairs of Antyodaya trains decided to be introduced during the year 2016-17 and 2017-18, four (4) pairs of Antyodaya Express have already been introduced till date.
(iii)     In pursuance of the announcements made in the Railway Budget 2016-17, regarding attachment of  two to four Deen Dayalu coaches in some long distance trains for unreserved travel to enhance our carrying capacity for the masses,  Indian Railways have inducted 321 Deen Dayalu coaches (General Class coaches) in 53 pairs of trains during the year 2016-17. Similarly, during the year 2017-18, 76 Deen Dayalu coaches are being utilized.
In addition to the above, during 2017-18 (till November, 2017) Indian Railways have also utilized about 137 General Class coaches for permanent augmentation of the loads of existing trains (which includes both Passenger and Express train services).
The passenger coaches plying over Indian Railways (IR) have been designed with the necessary safety features considering the operating conditions over IR. Linke Hoffman Busch (LHB) design coaches are of a superior design than Integral Coach Factory (ICF) type coaches and have better safety features like anti-climbing etc. It has been decided that only LHB coaches would be manufactured from April, 2018 onwards.
This Press Release is based on the information given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri Rajen Gohain in a written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha on 29.12.2017 (Friday).

South Western Railway has decided for continuation of Train No. 06547/06548, Yesvantpur- Ernakulam - Yesvantpur Weekly Tatkal Express Special for 3 more trips in each direction to clear extra rush of passengers during Shabarimala Festival.
Train No. 06547, Yesvantpur- Ernakulam Weekly Tatkal Express Special departs Yesvantpur at 22:45hrs. o­n every Tuesday from 02nd January, 2017 to 16thJanuary, 2017  (Total 3 trips) and reaches Ernakulamat 12:00 hrs. on respective Wednesday.

REGULATION OF TRAIN SERVICES DUE TO TRAFFIC-CUM-POWER BLOCK BETWEEN KANTADIH AND URMA STATIONS OF ADRA DIVISION
Kolkata, 29th December, 2017:
Due to six hours of Traffic-cum-Power Block o­n both Up and Dn line between Kantadih and Urma Stations of Chandil- Adra Section of Adra Division from 10:10 hrs to 16:10 hrs o­n 31/12/2017 (Sunday) for launching of limited Height Subway, the following trains will be regulated as under:
Short termination/Short Origination of Train
68056 Tatanagar-Asansol MEMU Passenger will be short terminated at Barabhum and will short originate as 68055 from Barabhum. Similarly 68055  Asansol-Tatanagar MEMU Passenger will be short terminated at Purulia and will short originate as 68056 from Purulia. Therefore, services of this pair of train will remain cancelled between Barabhum-Purulia-Barabhum o­n 31.12.17.
Rescheduling of Train
13302 Tatanagar-Dhanbad Subarnarekha Express will be rescheduled to leave Tatanagar at 15.00 hrs instead of 13.20 hrs o­n 31/12/2017.
Diversion of Train
v58661 Tatanagar-Hatia Passenger will be diverted to run via Chandil-Muri instead of Chandil-Purulia-Kotshila-Muri o­n 31.12.17.
Regulation of Train
18184 Danapur-Tatanagar Express will be controlled for 40 minutes between Asansol and Purulia o­n 31.12.17.

ON PUBLIC DEMAND, MORNING TEA TO BE SERVED ON SPECIAL RAJDHANI EXPRESS

As per the special demand from our valued passengers and for their greater convenience, Railways have decided to serve morning tea in the newly introduced Special Rajdhani Express (train No. 09003/09004) plying between Bandra Terminus & H. Nizamuddin. The catering services in this train were optional as per the existing menu and tariff of Rajdhani trains and the passengers had the choice to opt out of the catering services. However, there was o­nly the provision for evening tea and dinner, but now o­n demand, the provision of morning tea has also been added. Accordingly, the scheduled cost of the same has been included in the fare with effect from 19th December, 2017 and the same shall be recovered from the passengers by the o­n board ticket checking staff, if not paid earlier.

Central Railway will operate a special traffic block o­n 27.12.2017 & 28.12.2017 at Belapur from 0200 hrs on 27.12.2017(Tue/Wed night) to 0200 hrs o­n 29.12.2017 (Thu/Fri night) = 48 hrs o­n Terminal platform no.2 at Belapur.
Train running pattern o­n both dates will be as under:
Total services o­n harbour line - 604; services cancelled – 34.
However, 34 special services will be run (Panvel-18; Nerul-4; Vashi-10 & Mankhurd-2)
·During morning peak hours out of 8 Belapur originating services, 7 will run via platform no.3 at Belapur and o­ne will run from Vashi.
·During the evening peak hours out of 8 Belapur terminating services, 5 will be extended to Panvel. o­ne service will run upto Vashi and two will be cancelled.
·Out of 65 Belapur originating/terminating services during the off peak period, 31 services will remain cancelled, 18 services will be extended to Panvel, 4 services will be short terminated at Nerul, 10 at Vashi and 2 at Mankhurd
·Transharbour services will run as per schedule.
All other services from and to Vashi, Mankhurd, Chembur, Bandra and Andheri will run as per schedule. All Panvel originating/terminating locals will arrive destination 5 minutes behind schedule.
Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration. We are working for a better tomorrow.

During the block all UP & DOWN Mail/Express trains will be delayed by 15 minutes. Therefore, there will be no JUMBO BLOCK on Sunday, 24th December, 2017 on Western Railway. To cater to the rush of passengers during X-mas & New Year holidays, Eastern Railway will run five pairs of winter special trains between Kolkata and Puri stations, leaving Kolkata o­n 29 December, 2017 and 5, 12, 19, 26 January, 2018 and from Puri o­n 30 December, 2017 and 6, 13, 20, 27 January, 2018.
03101 Kolkata – Puri winter special train leaving Kolkata station at 23.55 hrs. will arrive Puri at 11.50 hrs. o­n the next day. While in return journey, 03102 Puri – Kolkata winter special, leaving Puri at 22.45 hrs. will reach Kolkata at 10.25 hrs. o­n next day.
This train will stop at Kharaghpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur – Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar & Khurda Road stations enroute in both the directions and will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class, AC 3-tier & AC 2-tier accommodation.

Central Railway will run 6 additional winter special trains from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai to Nagpur, Nagpur to Karmali and Karmali to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai to clear the extra rush of passengers as under:
1. Mumbai-Nagpur Superfast Special (one way)
01011 Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai o­n 22.12.2017 and 29.12.2017 at 00.20 hrs and arrive Nagpur at 14.20 hrs same day.
Halts: Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Murtizapur, Badnera, Dhamangaon, Pulgaon, Wardha
2. Nagpur-Karmali (Goa) Special (one way)
01196 special will leave Nagpur o­n 22.12.2017 and 29.12.2017 at 19.50 hrs and arrive Karmali at 21.30 hrs next day.

Halts: Thivim, Sawantwadi Road, Kudal, Kankavali, Ratnagiri, Sangameshwar Road, Chiplun, Khed, Roha, Panvel, Thane and Dadar.
Composition of all three specials: 6 AC-2 Tier, 8 AC-3 Tier and 2 General second class cum guard’s brake van.
Reservation: Bookings for Special trains o­n special charges leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai and Nagpur will open from 18.12.2017. General second class coaches in the above trains will run as Unreserved coaches.

Good news for passengers !!  It is decided to run special trains between Nagpur  - Karmali - Mumbai CSMT and Ahmedabad – Mangaluru Junction  to clear extra rush of passengers during Winter  and Christmas  in co-ordination with Central Railway & Western Railway.
1. Train No. 01196 Nagpur – Karmali One Way Special:
Train No. 01196 Nagpur – Karmali One Way Special will leave from Nagpur  at 19:50 hrs on Friday, 22/12/2017 & 29/12/2017 .Train will reach Karmali at 21:30 hrs on next day.
Train will halt at Wardha, Pulgaon, Dhamngaon, Badnera, Akola, Shegaon, Malkapur, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Chalisgaon, Manmad, Nasik Road, Igatpuri, Kalyan, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road  and  Thivim stations.
Composition : Total 16 Coaches  = Two Tier AC  –  06 Coach,    Three Tier AC – 08 Coaches, SLR – 02 Coaches.

Train will halt at Thivim, Sawantwadi Road, Kudal, Kankavali, Ratnagiri, Sangameshwar Road, Chiplun, Khed, Roha, Panvel, Thane and Dadar stations.
Composition : Total 16 Coaches  = Two Tier AC  –  06 Coach,    Three Tier AC – 08 Coaches, SLR – 02 Coaches.
Train No. 01122 Karmali – Mumbai CSMT one way special will be open for booking from all Passenger Reservation Systems (PRS) and online booking on 18/12/2017.
3.Train No. 09416 / 09415 Ahmedabad – Mangaluru Junction – Ahmedabad (Weekly) Special on Special Fare:
Train No. 09416  Ahmedabad – Mangaluru Junction (Weekly) Special on Special Fare will leave from Ahmedabad at 16:15 hrs on Friday, 22/12/2017 & 29/12/2017.Train will reach Mangaluru Junction at 18:30 hrs on next day.
Train No. 09415 Mangaluru Junction – Ahmedabad (Weekly) Special on Special Fare will leave from Mangaluru Junction at 21:35 hrs on Saturday, 23/12/2017 & 30/12/2017. Train will reach Ahmedabad at 00:30 hrs on Monday.
Train will halt at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vapi, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon Jn., Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki and Suratkal stations.

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, 23 special trains will be run between Kacheguda – Kakinada Port; Kacheguda - Visakhapatnam; Visakhapatnam - Tirupati and Tirupati -  Kacheguda as detailed below:-
1.Kacheguda-Kakinada Port-Kacheguda Special Trains (08 services) :
Train No. 07425 Kacheguda-Kakinada Port Special Train will depart Kacheguda at 18:45 hrs o­n 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th January, 2018 (Fridays) and arrive Kakinada Port at 06:00 hrs o­n the next day.
 In the return direction, Train No. 07426 Kakinada Port-Kacheguda Special Train will depart Kakinada Port at 17:50 hrs o­n 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th January, 2018 (Saturdays) and arrive Kacheguda at 05:10 hrs o­n the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Malkajgiri, Charlapalli, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot and Kakinada Town stations in both the directions.
2.Kacheguda-Visakhapatnam Special Trains (05 Services):
Train No. 07016 Kacheguda – Visakhapatnam Special Train will depart Kacheguda at 18.45 hrs o­n 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30thJanuary, 2018 (Tuesdays) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 07.50 hrs o­n the next day.      
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Malkajgiri, Charlapalli, Pagidipalli, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvuda stations.
3.Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Special Trains (via Eluru) (05 Services): 
Train No. 07479 Visakhapatnam - Tirupati Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 19.05 hrs o­n 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th & 31stJanuary, 2018 (Wednesdays) and arrive Tirupati at 09.25 hrs o­n the next day.   
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Duvvuda, Anakapalli, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, o­ngole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur and Renigunta stations.
4.Tirupati-Kacheguda Special Trains (via., Vijayawada, Kazipet) (05 Services)
Train No. 07146 Tirupati - Kacheguda Special Train will depart Tirupati at 17.00 hrs o­n 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th January and 1st February, 2018 (Thursdays) and arrive Kacheguda at 06.30 hrs o­n the next day.  
 Enroute, these special trains will stop at Renigunta, Srikalahasti, Gudur, Nellore, o­ngole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Madhira, Khammam, Mahbubabad, Warangal, Kazipet and Jangaon stations.
All the above special trains will have AC II tier, AC III tier, Sleeper Class, Second Sitting and Luggage cum Brake van coaches.

Accordingly, Train No. 07435 Kakinada Town-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Kakinada Town at 18:00 hrs o­n 22nd December, 2017 and arrive Secunderabad at 06:00 hrs o­n the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 07436 Secunderabad – Kakinada Town Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 19:15 hrs o­n 23rdDecember, 2017 and arrive Kakinada Town at 07:20 hrs o­n the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, Tanuku, Bhimavaram Town, Akividu, Kaikaluru, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Sattenapalli, Piduguralla, Miryalaguda and Nalgonda stations in both the directions.

For the convenience of passengers during the festive occasion of Christmas and with a view to meet the travel demand during the season, Western Rly will run weekly Superfast train between Bandra (T) - Ajmer o­n special fare.
·09622/ 09621 Bandra (T) - Ajmer Superfast Special  Train( 4 Trips)  
Train No. 09622 Bandra (T) - Ajmer Superfast Special train will leave Bandra (T) at 06.15 hrs o­n every Monday and will reach Ajmer at 03.25 hrs, the next day. This train will run o­n 25th December, 2017 & 1st January, 2018.
Similarly, Train No. 09621 Ajmer – Bandra (T) Superfast Special train will leave Ajmer at 06.30 hrs o­n every Sunday and will arrive Bandra (T) at 04.45 hrs, the next day. This train will run o­n 24th & 31st December, 2017.
This train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Bhawani Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Durgapura, Jaipur and Kishangarh stations in both the directions.
The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class and II Class General Coaches.
The booking for Train no. 09622 Bandra (T) - Ajmer Superfast Special train o­n Special fare will be opened from 14th December, 2017 at all PRS centers and IRCTC website.

Train No. 07025 Vijayawada – Visakhapatnam DEMU Special Train will depart Vijayawada at 08:15 hrs for 8 days from 10thto 17th December,2017 and arrive Visakhapatnam at 15.00 hrs o­n the same day.
In the return direction, Train No. 07026 Visakhapatnam – Vijayawada DEMU Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 15:45 hrs for 8 days from 10th to 17th December,2017 and arrive Vijayawada at 23:00 hrs o­n the same day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at  Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Dwarapudi, Anaparti, Samalkot, Pithapuram, Annavaram, Tuni, Elamanchili, Narsingpalli, Ankapalli and Duvvada stations in both the directions.

RESTORATION OF TRAINS SLATED FOR CANCELLATION ON NOMINATED DAYS DURING THE ONGOING NON INTERLOCKING WORK IN CONNECTION WITH FOURTH LINE BETWEEN TUGHLAKABAD-PALWAL SECTION OF DELHI DIVISION ON NORTHERN RAILWAY

Northern Railway is presently executing non interlocking work as part of its infrastructure strengthening works in connection with provision of fourth line between Tughlakabad-Palwal  Section upto 10.12.2017  due to which some trains running o­n the section were slated to be cancelled.
