ELEVEN PAIRS OF SUMMER SPECIALS TRAINS BY ECoR

With a view to clearing additional rush of passengers and also providing comfortable journey to the commuters during Summer Season, 2018, Ministry of Railways have decided to run 11 pairs of weekly & bi-weekly Summer Special Trains towards different destinations of the country from East Coast Railway (ECoR) jurisdiction by creating a number of additional berths.
SAMBALPUR-BANASWADI (BANGALORE) SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
 08301 Sambalpur-Banaswadi (Bangalore) Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Sambalpur at 0930hrs o­n every Wednesday and will reach at Banaswadi at 1640hrs o­n the next days between 4th April to 27th June 2018. In the return direction, 08302 Banaswadi-Sambalpur Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Banaswadi at 0030hrs o­n every Friday (just after midnight of Thursday) and will arrive at Sambalpur at 0635hrs o­n the following days between 6th April to 29th June 2018.
PURI-SANTRAGACHHI (HOWRAH) SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
08403 Puri-Santragachhi (Howrah) Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Puri at 2125hrs o­n every Friday and will reach at Santragachhi at 0645hrs o­n the next days between 6th April to 29th June 2018. In the return direction, 08404 Santragachhi-Puri Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Santragachhi at 1910hrs o­n every Saturday and will arrive at Puri at 0400hrs o­n the following days between 7th April to 30th June 2018.
VISAKHAPATNAM-KIRANDUL VIA KORAPUT SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
08512 Visakhapatnam-Kirandul daily Special Fare Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 2215hrs and will reach at Kirandul at 1000hrs o­n the next days between 31st March to 30th June 2018. In the return direction 08511 Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Special Fare Train  will leave Kirandul at 1500hrs and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 0300hrs o­n the next days between 31stMarch to 1st July 2018.
HABIBGANJ (BHOPAL)-PURI SPECIAL TRAIN:
01661 Habibganj-Puri Weekly Special Train will leave Habibganj at 0720hrs o­n every Tuesday and will reach at Puri at 0845hrs o­n the next days between 3rd April to 26th June, 2018. In the return direction, 01662 Puri-Habibganj Weekly Special Train willleave Puri at 1115hrs o­n every Wednesday and will arrive at Habibganj at 1120hrs o­n the following days between 4th April to 27th June 2018.
SANTRAGACHHI-PURI SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
02809 Santragachhi (Howrah)-Puri Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Santragachhi at 1900hrs o­n every Thursday between 5th April to 28th June, 2018 and will reach at Puri at 0320hrs o­n the next day. In the return direction, 02810 Puri-Santragachhi Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Puri at 1330hrs o­n every Friday between 6th April to 29th June, 2018 and will arrive at Santragachhi at 2215hrs o­n the same day.
SECUNDERABAD-GUWAHATI SPECIAL TRAIN:
07149 Secunderabad-Guwahati Weekly Special Train will leave Secunderabad at 0730hrs o­n every Friday between 6thApril to 29th June, 2018 and will reach at Guwahati at 0845hrs o­n every Sunday. In the return direction, 07150 Guwahati-Secunderabad Weekly Special Train will leave Guwahati at 0525hrs o­n every Monday between 2nd April to 2nd July, 2018 and will arrive at Secunderabad at 0915hrs o­n every Wednesday.
VISAKHAPATNAM-SECUNDERABAD SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
 08501 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Weekly Special Fare Train  will leave Visakhapatnam at 2300hrs o­n every Tuesday  and will reach at Secunderabad at 1200hrs o­n the following days between 3RD April to 26th June 2018. In the return direction, 08502 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Fare Train  will leave Secunderabad at 1630hrs o­n every Wednesday and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 0450hrs o­n the following days between 4th April to 27th June 2018.
VISAKHAPATNAM-TIRUPATI SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
 08573 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 2255hrs o­n every Monday and will reach at Tirupati at 1325hrs o­n the following days between 2ND April to 25th June 2018. In the return direction, 08574 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Tirupati at 1530hrs o­n every Tuesday and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 0650hrs o­n the following days between 3RD April to 26th June 2018.
KACHEGUDA-VISAKHAPATNAM-TIRUPATI SPECIAL TRAIN:
 07016 Kacheguda-Visakhapatnam Special Train will leave Kacheguda at 1845hrs o­n every Tuesday and will reach at Visakhapatnam at 0750hrs o­n the following days between 3rd April to 26th June 2018. In the return direction, 07479  Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Special Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 1905hrs o­n every Wednesday and will arrive at Tirupati at 0925hrs o­n the following days between 4th April to 27th June 2018.
TIRUPATI-VISAKHAPATNAM AC SPECIAL TRAIN:
 07487 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Weekly AC Special Train will leave Tirupati at 2230hrs o­n every Sunday and will reach at Visakhapatnam at 1045hrs o­n the following days between 1st April to 24th June 2018. In the return direction, 07488  Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Weekly AC Special Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 1920hrs o­n every Monday and will arrive at Tirupati at 0810hrs o­n the following days between 2nd April to 25th June 2018.
YESVANTPUR-VISAKHAPATNAM TATKAL SPECIAL TRAIN:
 06579 Yesvantpur-Visakhapatnam Weekly Tatkal Special Train will leave Yesvantpur at 1835hrs o­n every Friday and will reach at Visakhapatnam at 1435hrs o­n the following days between 6th April to 25th May 2018. In the return direction, 06580  Visakhapatnam-Yesvantpur Weekly Tatkal Special Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 1345hrs o­n every Sunday and will arrive at Yesvantpur at 0905hrs o­n the following days between 1st April to 27th May, 2018.
Apart from this, a number of Special Trains have been planned to ply between different destinations of the country through East Coast Railway jurisdiction during Summer according to the feasibility and demand from the passengers and will also create more berths from ECoR. These apart, important regular trains have been planned to be augmented with additional coaches during the period by creating additional berths.​Based o­n an analysis of the Passenger Traffic Profile o­n various routes, permanent augmentation of coaches in Mail/Express trains is being done by attaching more coaches.​

23 Special Trains between Kacheguda - Kakinada Port - Kacheguda & Kacheguda – Visakhapatnam-Tirupati – Kacheguda
In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, 23 special trains will be run between Kacheguda – Kakinada Port; Kacheguda - Visakhapatnam; Visakhapatnam - Tirupati and Tirupati -  Kacheguda as detailed below:-
1.Kacheguda-Kakinada Port-Kacheguda Special Trains (08 services) :
Train No. 07425 Kacheguda-Kakinada Port Special Train will depart Kacheguda at 18:45 hrs o­n 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th January, 2018 (Fridays) and arrive Kakinada Port at 06:00 hrs o­n the next day.
 In the return direction, Train No. 07426 Kakinada Port-Kacheguda Special Train will depart Kakinada Port at 17:50 hrs o­n 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th January, 2018 (Saturdays) and arrive Kacheguda at 05:10 hrs o­n the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Malkajgiri, Charlapalli, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot and Kakinada Town stations in both the directions.
2.Kacheguda-Visakhapatnam Special Trains (05 Services):
Train No. 07016 Kacheguda – Visakhapatnam Special Train will depart Kacheguda at 18.45 hrs o­n 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30thJanuary, 2018 (Tuesdays) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 07.50 hrs o­n the next day.      
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Malkajgiri, Charlapalli, Pagidipalli, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvuda stations.
3.Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Special Trains (via Eluru) (05 Services): 
Train No. 07479 Visakhapatnam - Tirupati Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 19.05 hrs o­n 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th & 31stJanuary, 2018 (Wednesdays) and arrive Tirupati at 09.25 hrs o­n the next day.   
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Duvvuda, Anakapalli, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, o­ngole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur and Renigunta stations.
4.Tirupati-Kacheguda Special Trains (via., Vijayawada, Kazipet) (05 Services)
Train No. 07146 Tirupati - Kacheguda Special Train will depart Tirupati at 17.00 hrs o­n 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th January and 1st February, 2018 (Thursdays) and arrive Kacheguda at 06.30 hrs o­n the next day.  
 Enroute, these special trains will stop at Renigunta, Srikalahasti, Gudur, Nellore, o­ngole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Madhira, Khammam, Mahbubabad, Warangal, Kazipet and Jangaon stations.
All the above special trains will have AC II tier, AC III tier, Sleeper Class, Second Sitting and Luggage cum Brake van coaches.

MODIFICATION OF MEMU SERVICES IN CHENNAI - TIRUPATI & CHENNAI - NELLORE SECTIONS
Due to operational reasons, the schedule of some MEMU trains in Chennai – Tirupati & Chennai – Nellore sections has been modified with immediate effect.
1.Train No.66015 MMC – Tirupati MEMU, leaving MMC at 07.15 hrs. and reaching Tirupati at 11.15 hrs., has been modified as Train No.66015 & Train No.66039.
1.Train No.66015 MMC – Arakkonam MEMU will leave MMC at 07.15 hrs. and reach Arakkonam at 09.00 hrs.
2.Train No.66039 Arakkonam – Tirupati MEMU will leave Arakkonam at 09.05 hrs. and reach Tirupati at 11.15 hrs.
2.Train No.66014 Tirupati – MMC MEMU, leaving Tirupati at 16.05 hrs. and reaching MMC at 20.25 hrs., has been modified as Train No.66014 & Train No.66040.
1.Train No.66014 Tirupati – Arakkonam MEMU will leave Tirupati at 16.05 hrs. and reach Arakkonam at 18.35 hrs.
2.Train No.66040 Arakkonam – MMC MEMU will leave Arakkonam at 18.40 hrs. and reach MMC at 20.25 hrs.
3.Train No.66021 MMC – Tirupati MEMU, leaving MMC at 19.10 hrs. and reaching Tirupati at 23.25 hrs., has been modified as Train No.66021 & Train No.66049.
1.Train No.66021 MMC – Arakkonam MEMU will leave MMC at 19.10 hrs. and reach Arakkonam at 20.35 hrs.
2.Train No.66049 Arakkonam – Tirupati MEMU will leave Arakkonam at 20.40 hrs. and reach Tirupati at 23.25 hrs.
4.Train No.66022 Tirupati – MMC MEMU, leaving Tirupati at 05.10 hrs. and reaching MMC at 09.10 hrs., has been modified as Train No.66022 & Train No.66050.
1.Train No.66022 Tirupati – Arakkonam MEMU will leave Tirupati at 05.10 hrs. and reach Arakkonam at 07.15 hrs.
2.Train No.66050 Arakkonam – MMC MEMU will leave Arakkonam at 07.20 hrs. and reach MMC at 09.10 hrs.
5.Train No.66035 MMC – Nellore MEMU, leaving MMC at 07.45 hrs. and reaching Nellore at 12.00 hrs., has been modified as Train No.66035 & Train No.66037.
1.Train No.66035 MMC – Sulurpeta MEMU will leave MMC at 07.45 hrs. and reach Sulurpeta at 09.55 hrs.
2.Train No.66037 Sulurpeta – Nellore MEMU will leave Sulurpeta at 10.05 hrs. and reach Nellore at 12.00 hrs.
6.Train No.66036 Nellore – MMC MEMU, leaving Nellore at 16.00 hrs. and reaching MMC at 20.45 hrs., has been modified as Train No.66036 & Train No.66038.
1.Train No.66036 Nellore – Sulurpeta MEMU will leave Nellore at 16.00 hrs. and reach Sulurpeta at 18.20 hrs.
2.Train No.66038 Sulurpeta – MMC MEMU will leave Sulurpeta at 18.35 hrs. and reach MMC at 20.45 hrs.

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, two special trains will be run between Secunderabad-Kakinada Town and two special trains between Hyderabad- Tirupati as detailed below:-
1.Secunderabad - Kakinada Town- Secunderabad Special Train ( 02 services) :
Accordingly, Train No. 07075 Secunderabad - Kakinada Town Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 17:55 hrs o­n 11th August, 2017 and arrive Kakinada Town at 05:50 hrs o­n the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 07076Kakinada Town- Secunderabad Special Train will depart Kakinada Townat 19:40 hrs o­n 12th August, 2017 and arrive Secunderabad at 07:40 hrs o­n the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop atNalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Gudivada, Kaikaluru, Akividu, Bhimavaram Town, Tanuku, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry and Samalkot stations.
These special trains will have 20 coaches viz, two AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, nine Sleeper Class , five Second General class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.
2.Hyderabad-Tirupati-Hyderabad Special Trains ( 02 services) :
Train No. 07145 Hyderabad- Tirupati Special Train will depart Hyderabad at 19:00 hrs o­n 14th August, 2017, arrive/depart at Secunderabad at 19:20/19:25 hrs and arrive Tirupati at 08:10 hrs o­n the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 07146 Tirupati-Hyderabad Special Train will depart Tirupati at 19:55 hrs o­n 15th August, 2017 , arrive/depart Secunderabad at 09:30/09:35 hrs o­n the next day and arrive Hyderabad at 10:00 hrs.
Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Kazipet, Warnagal, Mahabubabad, Khammam, Vijayawada, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur and Renigunta stations in both the directions.
These special trains will have 14 coaches viz, twelve Sleeper Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.
*All these above trains will run as special fare trains.

Tirupati-Hyderabad-Tirupati Rayalaseema Express to be extended to Nizamabad from 1st November, 2017
Ministry of Railways has approved the extension of Tr. No. 17430/17429 Tirupati-Hyderabad-Tirupati Rayalaseema Express to Nizamabad with effect from 1st November, 2017. The train will be speeded up and converted to Superfast Express under “Mission Raftar”. Accordingly, the Train Number will be changed to run as Train No. 12793 Tirupati-Nizamabad and Train No. 12794 Nizamabad-Tirupati Rayalaseema Superfast Express.
