ELEVEN PAIRS OF SUMMER SPECIALS TRAINS BY ECoR
With a view to clearing additional rush of passengers and also providing comfortable journey to the commuters during Summer Season, 2018, Ministry of Railways have decided to run 11 pairs of weekly & bi-weekly Summer Special Trains towards different destinations of the country from East Coast Railway (ECoR) jurisdiction by creating a number of additional berths.
SAMBALPUR-BANASWADI (BANGALORE) SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
08301 Sambalpur-Banaswadi (Bangalore) Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Sambalpur at 0930hrs on every Wednesday and will reach at Banaswadi at 1640hrs on the next days between 4th April to 27th June 2018. In the return direction, 08302 Banaswadi-Sambalpur Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Banaswadi at 0030hrs on every Friday (just after midnight of Thursday) and will arrive at Sambalpur at 0635hrs on the following days between 6th April to 29th June 2018.
PURI-SANTRAGACHHI (HOWRAH) SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
08403 Puri-Santragachhi (Howrah) Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Puri at 2125hrs on every Friday and will reach at Santragachhi at 0645hrs on the next days between 6th April to 29th June 2018. In the return direction, 08404 Santragachhi-Puri Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Santragachhi at 1910hrs on every Saturday and will arrive at Puri at 0400hrs on the following days between 7th April to 30th June 2018.
VISAKHAPATNAM-KIRANDUL VIA KORAPUT SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
08512 Visakhapatnam-Kirandul daily Special Fare Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 2215hrs and will reach at Kirandul at 1000hrs on the next days between 31st March to 30th June 2018. In the return direction 08511 Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Special Fare Train will leave Kirandul at 1500hrs and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 0300hrs on the next days between 31stMarch to 1st July 2018.
HABIBGANJ (BHOPAL)-PURI SPECIAL TRAIN:
01661 Habibganj-Puri Weekly Special Train will leave Habibganj at 0720hrs on every Tuesday and will reach at Puri at 0845hrs on the next days between 3rd April to 26th June, 2018. In the return direction, 01662 Puri-Habibganj Weekly Special Train willleave Puri at 1115hrs on every Wednesday and will arrive at Habibganj at 1120hrs on the following days between 4th April to 27th June 2018.
SANTRAGACHHI-PURI SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
02809 Santragachhi (Howrah)-Puri Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Santragachhi at 1900hrs on every Thursday between 5th April to 28th June, 2018 and will reach at Puri at 0320hrs on the next day. In the return direction, 02810 Puri-Santragachhi Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Puri at 1330hrs on every Friday between 6th April to 29th June, 2018 and will arrive at Santragachhi at 2215hrs on the same day.
SECUNDERABAD-GUWAHATI SPECIAL TRAIN:
07149 Secunderabad-Guwahati Weekly Special Train will leave Secunderabad at 0730hrs on every Friday between 6thApril to 29th June, 2018 and will reach at Guwahati at 0845hrs on every Sunday. In the return direction, 07150 Guwahati-Secunderabad Weekly Special Train will leave Guwahati at 0525hrs on every Monday between 2nd April to 2nd July, 2018 and will arrive at Secunderabad at 0915hrs on every Wednesday.
VISAKHAPATNAM-SECUNDERABAD SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
08501 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 2300hrs on every Tuesday and will reach at Secunderabad at 1200hrs on the following days between 3RD April to 26th June 2018. In the return direction, 08502 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Secunderabad at 1630hrs on every Wednesday and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 0450hrs on the following days between 4th April to 27th June 2018.
VISAKHAPATNAM-TIRUPATI SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
08573 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 2255hrs on every Monday and will reach at Tirupati at 1325hrs on the following days between 2ND April to 25th June 2018. In the return direction, 08574 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Tirupati at 1530hrs on every Tuesday and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 0650hrs on the following days between 3RD April to 26th June 2018.
KACHEGUDA-VISAKHAPATNAM-TIRUPATI SPECIAL TRAIN:
07016 Kacheguda-Visakhapatnam Special Train will leave Kacheguda at 1845hrs on every Tuesday and will reach at Visakhapatnam at 0750hrs on the following days between 3rd April to 26th June 2018. In the return direction, 07479 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Special Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 1905hrs on every Wednesday and will arrive at Tirupati at 0925hrs on the following days between 4th April to 27th June 2018.
TIRUPATI-VISAKHAPATNAM AC SPECIAL TRAIN:
07487 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Weekly AC Special Train will leave Tirupati at 2230hrs on every Sunday and will reach at Visakhapatnam at 1045hrs on the following days between 1st April to 24th June 2018. In the return direction, 07488 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Weekly AC Special Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 1920hrs on every Monday and will arrive at Tirupati at 0810hrs on the following days between 2nd April to 25th June 2018.
YESVANTPUR-VISAKHAPATNAM TATKAL SPECIAL TRAIN:
06579 Yesvantpur-Visakhapatnam Weekly Tatkal Special Train will leave Yesvantpur at 1835hrs on every Friday and will reach at Visakhapatnam at 1435hrs on the following days between 6th April to 25th May 2018. In the return direction, 06580 Visakhapatnam-Yesvantpur Weekly Tatkal Special Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 1345hrs on every Sunday and will arrive at Yesvantpur at 0905hrs on the following days between 1st April to 27th May, 2018.
Apart from this, a number of Special Trains have been planned to ply between different destinations of the country through East Coast Railway jurisdiction during Summer according to the feasibility and demand from the passengers and will also create more berths from ECoR. These apart, important regular trains have been planned to be augmented with additional coaches during the period by creating additional berths.Based on an analysis of the Passenger Traffic Profile on various routes, permanent augmentation of coaches in Mail/Express trains is being done by attaching more coaches.
