Diversion of Train Services

North Western Railway has notified for Diversion of train services due to Pre Non Interlocking /Non Interlocking engineering works at Hanumangarh, Mandi Dabwali and Bagwali station o­n Suratgarh and Bathinda section as given below.

Diversion of Train Services

1. Train No. 22497 Shri Ganganagar – Tiruchchirappalli Humsafar Express leaving Shri Ganganagar at 13.45hrs o­n 27th, January 2025   will be diverted to run via Sarupsar, and Suratgarh,

2. Train No. 22498 Tiruchchirappalli – Shri Ganganagar Humsafar Express leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 04.45hrs o­n 24th, January2025 will be diverted to run via Suratgarh.

3. Train No. 20497 Mandapam** – Firozpur Humsafar Express leaving  Mandapam at 23.10 hrs o­n 21st, & 28th, January 2025 will be diverted to run via  Sadulpur, Hisar, and

Bathinda with additional  stoppages at Hisar and Sirsa.

 4. Train No. 20498 Firozpur – Mandapam** Humsafar  Express leaving Firozpur at 05.55 hrs o­n 25th, January & 01st, February 2025  will be  diverted to run via Bathinda, Hisar, and Sadulpur,  with additional  stoppages at  Sirsa, andHisar

**T.Nos.20497/20498 Rameswaram-Firozpur-Rameswaram Humsafar Express services currently originate/terminate from Mandapam station.

Railway Board has permitted stoppage for Train No.02613/02614 Chennai Egmore – Madurai – Chennai Egmore Tejas Special at Dindgul in lieu of Kodaikanal Road for a period of Six months o­n experimental basis with effect from 02nd April, 2021 to 02nd October, 2021as follows:-

Train No.02613 Chennai Egmore – Madurai Tejas Special Express (6 days a Week) will leave Chennai Egmore o­n all days except Thursdays with the stoppage at Dindigul (11.03(Arr)/11.05(Dep))  until 02nd October, 2021

In return direction Train No.02614 Madurai – Chennai Egmore Tejas Special Express (6 days a Week) with the stoppage at Dindigul at (15.45(Arr)/15.47(Dep)) until 02nd October, 2021

Devlali-Muzaffarpur Kisan Rail has been given halt at Lasalgaon from 15.9.2020 to 24.09.2020 o­n trial basis. 00107 Kisan Rail (Tri-weekly) will depart Devlali at 18.00 hrs o­n every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and arrive Lasalgaon at 19.00 hrs and depart at 19.15 hrs. 

Farmers and other parcel loaders are requested to note and avail the facility.

ADDITIONAL HALT PROVIDED AT WADHWANCITY TO HOLIDAY SPECIAL RUNNING BETWEEN BANDRA (T)-PALITANA
For the convenience of passengers, Western Railway has decided to provide an additional halt at Wadhwancity to Train No 09027/09028 Bandra Terminus - Palitana Superfast Special Train o­n Special fare .  
  • Train No. 09027 Bandra (T) - Palitana Superfast Special train o­n Special fare will depart from Bandra (T) at 15.25 hrs o­n Wednesday and will reach Palitana at 05.30 hrs. the next day. This train will run upto 01st January, 2020. Similarly, 
  • Train No. 09028 Palitana - Bandra (T) Superfast Special train o­n Special fare will depart from Palitana at 07.40 hrs o­n Thursday and will reach Bandra (T) at 21.50 hrs. the same day. This train will run upto 2nd January, 2020.

The train will have AC 2 Tier, Ac 3 Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches. The train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Wadhwancity, Botad, Dhola Jn., Songadh and Sihor (Gujarat) in both directions.

It has been decided that, 68005/68016 and 68013/68014 Kharagpur-Tatanagar-Kharagpur MEMU Passenger trains will stop at Chirugoda w.e.f. 04.10.2019
  • 68005 Kharagpur-Tatanagar MEMU Passenger will depart Chirugoda at 17.18 hrs and in the opposite direction, 68016 Tatanagar-Kharagpur MEMU Passenger will depart Chirugoda at 05.10 hrs.
  • 68013 Kharagpur-Tatanagar MEMU Passenger will depart Chirugoda at 07.19 hrs and in the return direction, 68014 Tatanagar-Kharagpur MEMU Passenger will depart Chirugoda at 15.13 hrs.

WESTERN RAILWAY WILL ATTACH ADDITIONAL COACHES IN 3 PAIRS OF GANAPATI SPECIAL TRAINS ON TEMPORARY BASIS 
For the convenience of passengers and to clear the extra rush during the forthcoming Ganapti festival, Western Railway has decided to augment additional coaches in the following 3 pairs of ‘Ganapati Special’ trains o­n temporary basis. The details of which are as under:-
1.Train No. 09011/09012 Bandra Terminus – Mangalore Jn AC Special train o­n Special fare has been augmented with two additional AC Chair Car coaches. Ex Bandra Terminus on 01.09.2019 & 08.09.2019 and Ex Mangalore Jn on 02.09.2019 & 09.09.2019.
2.Train No. 09007/09008 Mumbai Central – Thivim Bi – Weekly Special train o­n Special fare will be augmented with two additional coaches each of AC 3-Tier & Sleeper Class. Ex Mumbai Central o­n 29.08.2019, 02.09.2019, 05.09.2019 & 12.09.2019 and Ex Thivim o­n 30.08.2019, 03.09.2019, 06.09.2019 & 13.09.2019.

For the  convenience of Rail Passengers, Railways have decided to provide additional stoppage to the 14005/14006 Sitamarhi-Anand Vihar Terminal- Sitamarhi Lichhavi Express , 11061/11062 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Darbhanga- Lokmanya Tilak Terminus  Express & 15160Durg –Chhapra Sarnath Express Trains  at  Sarnath  Station   on  experimental basis for six months  from  29.08.2019   as under  :
  • The 14005 Sitamarhi-Anand Vihar Terminal Lichhavi Express will arrive atSarnathStation at 01.57 p.m., while its return service, the 14006 Anand Vihar Terminal- Sitamarhi Lichhavi Express train  will arrive at Sarnath Station at  06.39 a.m. with  two  minute  stoppage  in both  the directions  .
  • The 11061 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Darbhanga  Express train will arrive at Sarnath Station at 02.12 p.m., while its return service, the 11062 Darbhanga- Lokmanya Tilak Terminus  Express Train  will arrive at  Sarnath Station at  10.41 p.m. with  two  minute  stoppage  in both  the directions  
  • The 15160Durg –Chhapra Sarnath Express train will arrive at Sarnath Station at 04.56 p.m. with two  minute  stoppage  .

Railway slows down trains in Abhayapuri - Jogighopa section for the safety of marooned villagers
Due to continuous heavy rainfall causing inundation of vast areas in the Goalpara - Jogighopa region, people from many villages have flocked to the railway embankment to take shelter from the rising flood waters. Large numbers of people along with their essential belongings and cattles have been taking shelter o­n the railway embankment in the Goalpara - Jogighopa section since the last many days. The railway embankment is the o­nly stable structure offering the protection of a highland to the marooned villagers. In view of this, N.F. Railway authorities have imposed speed restrictions o­n the Goalpara - Jogighopa route from railway km 25 to km 29. The trains are now being run with restricted speed in this section. The drivers of all trains passing through the section have also been issued instructions to whistle continuously while passing through this stretch where people have taken shelter so that any kind of causalities or injuries to the villagers and their cattles can be avoided.
It is to be mentioned that in the wake of recent floods N.F Railway has also attached additional coaches in popular trains for the convenience of people wanting to travel to and from Guwahati due to disruption of road network in various places in Upper Assam and Lower Assam.
