Bi-weekly Special Trains between Kolhapur and Nagpur

Central Railway  has decided to run bi-weekly special trains between Kolhapur and Nagpur as per details given below:

  • 01404 Bi-weekly special will  leave Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus, Kolhapur every Monday and Friday at 12.45 hrs with effect from 12.3.2021 until further advice and arrive Nagpur  at 12.00 hrs next day.
  • 01403 Bi-weekly special will leave Nagpur every Tuesday and Saturday at 15.15 hrs with effect from 13.3.2021 until further advice and arrive Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus, Kolhapur  at 14.00 hrs next day.
  • Halts: Miraj, Sangola, Pandharpur, Kurduwadi, Barsi Town, Usmanabad, Latur, Latur Road, Parli Vaijnath, Parbhani, Purna, Hingoli Deccan, Washim, Akola, Murtajapur, Badnera, Dhamangaon, Pulgaon, Wardha and Ajni
  • Composition: One AC-2 Tier, Three AC-3 Tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 5 second class seating.

Reservation: Bookings for fully reserved special trains no 01404/01403 on normal fare will open o­n 01.03.2021 at all computerised reservation centres and o­n website www.irctc.co.in.

Railways will run additional special train between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai and Sri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur to clear the extra rush of passengers as per details given below:

  • 01411 special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 20.20 hrs daily from 2.2.2021 until further advice and arrive Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur at 07.20 hrs next day.
  • 01412 special will leave Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur at 20.45 hrs daily from 1.2.2021 and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 07.25 hrs next day.
  • Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Karjat, Khandala (for 01412 o­nly), Pune, Satara, Karad, Takari, Kirloskarwadi, Sangli, Miraj, Jayasingpur, Hatkanangale.
  • Composition:   o­ne AC-2 Tier, Two AC-3 Tier, 10 Sleeper Class and 5 second class seating.

Reservation: Bookings for fully reserved special train no 01411/01412 o­n normal charges will open o­n 25.1.2021 at all computerised reservation centres and o­n website www.irctc.co.in.

Railways will run festival special train between Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur and Tirupati as per details given below:

  • 07416 festival special will leave Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur at 11.30 hrs daily from 30.10.2020 to 18.11.2020 and arrive Tirupati at 08.00 hrs next day.
  • 07415 festival special will leave Tirupati at 21.00 hrs daily from 28.10.2020 to 16.11.2020 and arrive Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur at 16.35 hrs next day.
  • Halts: Hatkanangale, Miraj, Kudachi, Raybag, Ghatprabha, Belgavi, Khanapur, Londa, Alnavar, Dharwad, Hubballi, Gadag, Koppal, Hospet, Tornagallu, Bellary, Guntakal, Gooty, Tadipatri, Yerraguntla, Kadapa, Renigunta.
  • Composition: 12 Sleeper Class, o­ne First AC, o­ne AC-2 Tier, Three AC-3 Tier, 4 Second class seating.

Introduction of New Weekly Express between Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) - Bidar
Ministry of Railways has announced introduction of a new weekly express train service between Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) - Bidar - Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur). The regular service will commence Ex. Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) with effect from 20thJune, 2018 and Ex. Bidar with effect from 21st June, 2018.
The inaugural special train service from Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) will be flagged off by Shri Dhananjay Bhimrao Mahadik, Hon’ble Member of Parliament o­n 13thJune, 2018.
Shri Bhagwanth Khuba, Hon’ble Member of Parliament will flag off Bidar – Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) o­n 14thJune, 2018. The details of inaugural special and regular train services are given below:-
Inaugural Service:-
 Train No. 01416 Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) - Bidar Inaugural Special Train will depart Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) at 23.25 hrs o­n 13thJune, 2018 and arrive Bidar at 10.15 hrs o­n the next day.
 Train No. 01417 Bidar - Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) Inaugural Special Train will depart Bidar at 12.30 hrs o­n 14th June, 2018 and arrive Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) at 00.35 hrs o­n the next day.
Enroute, this Inaugural Special will also stop at Miraj, Pandharpur, Kurduwadi, Usmanabad, Latur, Latur Road, Udgir and Bhalki stations.          

These trains will consist of o­ne AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, nine Sleeper class, six General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.
Regular Service:-
Train No. 11416 Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) - Bidar Inaugural Special Train will depart Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) at 23.25 hrs o­n Wednesdays (20th June, 2018 o­nwards) and arrive Bidar at 10.15 hrs o­n the next day i.e., Thursdays.
Train No. 11417 Bidar - Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) Inaugural Special Train will depart Bidar at 11.45 hrs o­n Thursdays (21st June, 2018 o­nwards) and arrive Chhatrapati Sahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) at 00.35 hrs (early hours) o­n the next day i.e., Fridays.
 Enroute, this Inaugural Special will also stop at Miraj, Pandharpur, Kurduwadi, Usmanabad, Latur, Latur Road, Udgir and Bhalki stations.           
These trains will consist of o­ne AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, nine Sleeper class, six General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

Train No. 11304/11303 Shri Chatrapati Sahu Maharaj (T) Kolhapur - Hyderabad - Shri Chatrapati Sahu Maharaj (T) Kolhapur Daily Express is extended up to Manuguru with additional stoppage provided at Kesamudram with effect from 14thMarch, 2018 departing Kolhapur (extended to run up to Manuguru from Secunderabad o­n 15th March, 2018). Accordingly, the new service will commence from 15th March, 2018 from Manuguru.
Accordingly, the train i.e., 11304 Shri Chatrapati Sahu Maharaj (T) Kolhapur - Manuguru Expressdeparting Chatrapati Sahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur at 07:35 hrs o­n 14th March, 2018, arrive/depart Begumpet at 05:30/05:31 hrs o­n the next day i.e., 15th March, 2018, Secunderabad at 06:10/06:25 hrs (without touching Hyderabad Station), Bhongir at 07:14/07:15 hrs, Jangaon at 07:44/07:45 hrs, Kazipet at 08:50/08:52 hrs, Warangal at 09:10/09:12 hrs, Kesamudram at 09.46/09.47, Mahabubabad at 09:59/10:00 hrs, Dornakal at 10:23/10:25 hrs, Bhadrachalam Road at 11:20/11:40 hrs and arrive Manuguru at 13.30 hrs o­n 15th March, 2018.
In return direction, Train No.11303 Manuguru - Shri Chatrapati Sahu Maharaj (T) Kolhapur Express will depart Manuguru at 15:30 hrs, arrive/depart Bhadrachalam Road at 16:30/16:50 hrs, Dornakal at 18:03/18:05 hrs, Mahabubabad at 18:19/18:20 hrs, Kesamudram at 18.31/18.32 hrs, Warangal at 19:28/19:30 hrs, Kazipet at 19:50/19:52 hrs, Jangaon at 20:37/20:38 hrs, Bhongir at 21:09/21:10 hrs, Secunderabad at 22:55/23:10 hrs (without touching Hyderabad Station), Begumpet at 23:20/23:21 hrs o­n the same day and arrive Chatrapati Sahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur at 22:40 hrs o­n the next day with effect from 15th March,2018.
The Scheduled Timings and stoppages of the above trains over existing route i.e.,Shri Chatrapati Sahu Maharaj (T)Kolhapur - Begumpet -Shri Chatrapati Sahu Maharaj (T) Kolhapur will remain same as per the existing Time Table.

Ministry of Railways has approved the extension of Tr. No. 11304/11303  Kolhapur – Hyderabad - Kolhapur Daily Express to Manuguru with effect from 14th March, 2018.
Accordingly Train No.11304 Kolhapur – Manuguru Express will depart Chatrapati Sahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur at 07:35 hrs, arrive/depart Begumpet at 05:30/05:31 hrs  on the next day, arrive/depart  Secunderabad at 06:10/06:25 hrs ( without touching Hyderabad Station), arrive/depart Bhongir at 07:14/07:15 hrs, arrive/depart Jangaon at 07:44/07:45 hrs, arrive/depart Kazipet at 08:50/08:52 hrs, arrive/depart Warangal at 09:10/09:12 hrs, arrive/depart Mahabubabad at 09:59/10:00 hrs, arrive/depart Dornakal at 10:23/10:25 hrs, arrive/depart Bhadrachalam Road at 11:20/11:40 hrs and arrive Manuguru at 13.30 hrs.

Central Railway will run 6 trips of special train between Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) and Sainagar Shirdi to clear the extra rush of passengers as per details given below:
  • 01409 Special will leave Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus at 16.35 hrs on every Wednesday from 27.9.2017 to 11.10.2017 (3 trips) and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 05.55 hrs next day.
  • 01410 Special will leave Sainagar Shirdi at 08.25 hrs on every Thursday from 28.9.2017 to 12.10.2017 (3 trips) and arrive Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus at 21.25 hrs same day.
  • Halts: Hatkanangale, Miraj, Sangli, Karad, Satara, Lonand, Pune, Daund, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Puntamba.
  • Composition: o­ne AC-2 Tier, Two AC-3 Tier, 7 Sleeper Class, 8 General Second class including Guards’ Brake Van.

Central Railway has decided to run two special trains to clear the extra rush o­n account of Maratha Mook Morcha, as per details given under.
1. Train No. 01019 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai – Solapur Special
(Via – Kalyan-Manmad-Daund-Kurduwadi)
Train No. 01019 will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 20.40 hrs o­n 9.8.2017 and arrive Solapur at 10.40 hrs next day.
Halts: Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Kasara, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Belapur, Ahmednagar, Daund and Kurduwadi.
Composition:  16 General Second class coaches.
2. Train No. 01020 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai – Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur Special
Train No. 01020 will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 00.30 hrs o­n 10.8.2017 (midnight of 9/10.8.2017) and arrive Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur at 14.00 hrs same day.
Halts: Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Lonavala, Pune, Satara and Miraj.
Composition:  18 General Second class coaches.

Central railway unveils special postal cover on Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj station
KOLHAPUR: The Pune division of the central railway unveiled a special postal cover on Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj station on completion of 125 years, in the presence of his descendants, on Thursday.
The late Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj built the station in the 19th century for development of industry and trade in Kolhapur. To recognise his contribution to Indian railways, Pune division unveiled the special postal cover on the late king with cooperation from Indian Post.

The descendent of late king, Shahu Maharaj Chhatrapati, said, "The King had great vision. He laid the foundation stone for the development of Kolhapur. Development works at Kolhapur station should be completed within the deadline. There should be planning while designing the development works. A project should not be delayed due to fund crunch and inflation. Hence, it is the responsibility of railways and elected representatives to complete works within the allocated time."
"The doubling of Kolhapur-Miraj track along with electrification works, Karad-Kolhapur and Hubali-Kolhapur direct rail service should be started without delay to save the time of people," he said.
Pune divisional railway manager B K Dadabhoy, said, "The late Shahu Chhatrapti Maharaj dedicated the Kolhapur railway station to the people on April 21st 1891. Recognising the contribution of Shhau Maharaj, the station was later named after him. The station handles 9,300 passengers and 23 trains everyday. There are many development works in progress."
Member of Parliament Dhananjay Mahadik, officer from Indian Post R S Patil, mayor Hasina Faras were present for the function.

Railways have decided to run unreserved special trains between Pune-Kolhapur-Pune to clear the extra rush of passengers during Ganpati Festival 2015. 
The details are as under - 

Train No. 01301 Pune - Kolhapur Special train will leave Pune at 05.45 hrs from 14.09.2015 to 30.09.2015 (except Friday) 14 trips and will reach Kolhapur at 13.55 hrs same day.

Train No. 01302 Kolhapur-Pune Special train will leave Kolhapur at 14.30 hrs from 14.09.2015 to 30.09.2015 (except Friday) 14 trips and will arrive Pune at 22.30 hrs same day.
