Extension of periodicity of Special Trains between Sainagar Shirdi and Dahar ka Balaji

Railways have extended the periodicity of weekly special trains already running between Sainagar Shirdi and Dahar ka Balaji to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as under:

Train No.09740 weekly superfast special will leave Sainagar Shirdi every Sunday, at 07.25 hrs from 07.08.2022 to 30.10.2022 (13 Trips) and will arrive Dahar ka Balaji at 08.10 hrs next day

Train No.09739 weekly superfast special will leave Dahar ka Balaji every Friday at 21.20 hrs from 05.08.2022 to 28.10.2022 (13 Trips) and will arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 20.30 hrs next day.

There is no change in Halts & composition of this train.

Reservation: Bookings for special train No. 09740 o­n special charges will open o­n 23.7.2022 at all computerised reservation centres and o­n website www.irctc.co.in.

Railway have decided to restore the services of Sainagar Shirdi- Chennai weekly express as per details below:

22602 Weekly will leave Sainagar Shirdi at 08.25 hrs every Friday with effect from 15.04.2022 till further advice and arrive Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 09.30 hrs next day.

22601 Weekly will leave Dr.MGR Chennai Central at 10.20 hrs every Wednesday with effect from 13.04.2022 till further advice and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 11.25 hrs next day.

Halts: Ahmednagar, Daund, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Sathya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam, Hindupur, Yelahanka, Krishnarajapuram, Malur, Bangarapet, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Perambur (for Train 22602 o­nly)

Composition: Three AC 2-tier, Three AC 3-tier, 13 Sleeper class and 4 General Second class including Guard's Brake vans.

Railways will run weekly special train between Sainagar Shirdi and Vijayawada until further advice to clear the extra rush of passengers as per details given below:

  • 07208 special will leave Sainagar Shirdi every Wednesday at 17.20 hrs with effect from 07.4.2021 until further advice and arrive Vijayawada at 15.15 hrs next day.
  • 07207 special will leave Vijayawada every Tuesday at 10.15 hrs with effect from 06.4.2021 until further advice and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 09.10 hrs next day.
  • Halts: Manmad, Nagersol, Rotegaon, Lasur(only for 07208),Aurangabad, Jalna, Partur(only for 07208),Selu(only for 07208),Manwath Road(only for 07208),Parbhani, Parli Vaijnath, Latur Road, Udgir, Bhalki, Bidar, Zahirabad, Vikarabad, Shankarpalli, Lingampalli, Begumpet, Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Mahbubabad, Dornakal, Khammam and Madhira

  • 01409 Special will leave Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus at 16.35 hrs on every Wednesday from 27.9.2017 to 11.10.2017 (3 trips) and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 05.55 hrs next day.
  • 01410 Special will leave Sainagar Shirdi at 08.25 hrs on every Thursday from 28.9.2017 to 12.10.2017 (3 trips) and arrive Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus at 21.25 hrs same day.

WESTERN RAILWAY TO RUN WEEKLY HOLIDAY SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN OKHA-SAINANAGAR SHIRDI

Booking starts from 22nd February
To clear extra rush in regular trains during forthcoming Summer Vacations and to ensure better convenience to the passengers, Western Railway will run weekly holiday special train between Okha-Sainagar Shirdi-Okha. This train will run with special fares.

09564 Okha-Sainagar Shirdi Weekly Special (12 trips from 11.04.17 to 27.06.17) – Every Tuesday
Train No. 09564 Okha – Sainagar Shirdi Weekly Special train will leave Okha at 18.00 hrs every Tuesday and reach Sainagar Shirdi at 20.00 hrs, the next day. The train will depart from Rajkot on every Tuesday in the night at 22.28 hrs.
09563 Sainagar Shirdi-Okha Weekly Special (12 trips from 12.04.17 to 28.06.17) - Every Wednesday
Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09563 Sainagar Shirdi - Okha Weekly Special train will leave Sainagar Shirdi at 22.25 hrs every Wednesday and will reach Okha at 22.00 hrs, the next day. The train will arrive at Rajkot on Thursday in the evening at 17.00 hrs.
Halts:This train will halt at Dwarka, Khambalia, Jamnagar, Hapa, Rajkot, Wankaner, Surendranagar, Viramgam, Ahemdabad, Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Vasai Raod, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik, Manmad & Kopargaon stations in both the directions.
Coach Composition: Both these trains will comprise of total 13 coaches including 1 II AC, 8 Sleeper, 2 General and 2 Luggage Van coaches.
Booking for train No. 09564 will be opened from 22nd February, 2017 at all Passenger Reservation Centre and IRCTC website.

Central Railway will run 52 Superfast Weekly Special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Sainagar Shirdi and Dadar - Sainagar Shirdi to clear the extra rush of passengers during summer season. The details are as under:-

1) Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai)- Sainagar Shirdi AC  Super-Fast Weekly Specials (26 Trips)
  • Train No. 02129 Super fast weekly special train (13 Trips) will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 21.45 hrs o­n every Thursday from 06.04.2017 to 29.06.2017 and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 03.35 hrs o­n next day.
  • Train No. 02130 Super fast weekly special train (13 Trips)  will leave Sainagar Shirdi at 09.20 hrs o­n every Friday from 07.04.2017 to 30.06.2017 and arrive Dadar at 15.10 hrs same day.

Halts: Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad and Kopargaon. 

Composition: o­ne 1st AC, o­ne 1st AC cum AC 2 Tier, Four AC-2 Tier, Eleven AC-3 tier.

2) Dadar (Mumbai)- Sainagar Shirdi Super-Fast Weekly Specials (26 Trips)

IRCTC to run luxury trains to Shirdi, Goa, Tirupati

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will soon operate ‘Three Star’ luxury trains from Secunderabad to Shirdi, Goa and Tirupati with the basic tariff structure of normal bus fares.

The announcement came after Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) Chairman Pervaram Ramulu made a request to this effect when IRCTC Chairman & Managing Director A.K. Manocha and Group General Manager Smita Rawat called on him at his office on Wednesday, in the presence of TSTDC Managing Director Christina Z. Chongthu.

After hearing Mr. Ramulu’s proposal, the IRCTC in principle agreed to run Three Star luxury trains to Basar, Warangal and Bhadrachalam within Telangana and for group bookings from outside the State, to Hyderabad and Warangal, said a press release.

Mr. Manocha was said to have visited the TSTDC to basically discuss a proposal for operating ‘Seven Star’ super luxury Maharaja Train from Konkan to Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, that passes through Secunderabad and Kazipet in Telangana.

He said that the Maharaja train offered unlimited food and wine with visit to tourist places, including local sight-seeing located near the scheduled halts.

The menu includes continental, Chinese, Thai, Mughlai and Indian dishes and the rooms are lavishly furnished in regal style charged at $ 990 per night for a couple.

HYDERABAD: As announced by the Ministry of Railways, a new weekly train service between Tirupati-Sainagar Shirdi will be introduced with effect from January 5, 2016 from Tirupati and with effect from January 6, 2016 from Sainagar Shirdi.

Minister for Railways, Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu will flag off the inaugural special from Tirupati to Sainagar Shirdi on December 26 at Tirupati Railway Station.

The new weekly express train will come as a big boon for the pilgrim traffic, affording a direct link between two most popular pilgrim destinations - the abode of Lord Balaji, Tirupati with the temple town of Shirdi, home to the sanctum sanctorum of Saibaba. Enroute, the train covers a host of major cities and towns, in addition to offering one more option of travel for the people of twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad since the train passes through the city  

 On its Regular run : Train 17417 Tirupati-Sainagar Shirdi weekly express train will depart Tirupati at 07:00 hrs on every Tuesday with effect from January 5, 2016, arrive/depart Secunderabad at 21:00/21:20 hrs and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 12:15 hrs the next day.

In the return direction, Train 17418 Sainagar Shirdi-Tirupati weekly express train will depart Sainagar Shirdi at 19:10 hrs on every Wednesday with effect from January 6, 2016, arrive/depart Secunderabad at 09:25/09:35 hrs the next day and arrive Tirupati at 23:45 hrs.

Inaugural run on December 26: On its Inaugural run, Train 07417 Tirupati-Sainagar Shirdi weekly special express will depart Tirupati at 16:30 hrs on (Saturday) tomorrow, arrive/depart Secunderabad at 07:00/07:15 hrs and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 21:00 hrs on the next day.

In the return direction, Train 07418 Sainagar Shirdi-Tirupati weekly special express will depart Sainagar Shirdi at 23:00 hrs on Sunday  December 2015, arrive/depart Secunderabad at 13:20/13:30 hrs  and arrive Tirupati at 04:30 hrs on the next day.

En route, these trains will also stop at Renigunta, Koduru, Razampeta, Nandalur, Cuddapah, Yerraguntla, Muddanuru, Tadipatri, Gooty, Guntakal, Adoni, Manthralayam Road, Raichur, Yadgir, Tandur, Vikarabad, Lingampalli, Malkajgiri, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Basar, Dharmabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Selu, Partur, Jalna, Aurangabad, Nagarsol, Manmad, Kopargaon and Puntamba stations in both directions.

The composition of the train inlcude one ac-2 tier, one ac-3 tier, seven sleeper class, six general second class and two second class luggage cum brake van coaches, totaling to 17 coaches. Advance reservations for the train services are available for booking.

South Central Railway to Run Two Special Trains Between Kacheguda-Sainagar Shirdi

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will run two special trains between Kacheguda-Saingar Shirdi as detailed below.

Accordingly, Train No 07267 Kacheguda-Sainagar Shirdi Special Train will depart Kacheguda at 22:45 hrs on 1st December, 2015 (Tuesday) and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 12:15 hrs on the next day.

In the return direction, Train No.07268 Sainagar Shirdi-Kacheguda Special Train will depart Sainagar Shirdi at 19.10 hrs o­n 2nd December, 2015 (Wednesday) and arrive Kacheguda at 09.35 hrs the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Malkajgiri, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Jalna, Aurangabad, Nagarsol, Manmad, Kopargaon and Puntamba stations in both directions.

These special trains will consist of 18 coaches viz., one AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, seven Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

  • 07268  special will leave Sainagar Shirdi at 1910 hrs o­n 14.10.2015 & 28.10.2015 and arrive Kacheguda at 0935 hrs next day.
  • 07267 special will leave Kacheguda at 2245 hrs o­n 13.10.2015 & 27.10.2015 and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 1215 hrs next day. 


Halts: Puntamba, Kopargaon, Manmad, Nagarsol, Aurangabad, Jalna, Parbhani, Purna, Hazur Sahib Nanded, Mudkhed, Nizamabad, Kamareddi and Malkajgiri.

South Central Railway to Run Four Special Trains Between Kacheguda and Sai Nagar Shirdi

South CentralRailway will run four special trains between Kacheguda and Sai Nagar Shirdi in order to clear extra rush of passenger traffic as per the following schedule:-

Train. No. 07267 Kacheguda- Sai Nagar Shirdi Special Train will depart Kacheguda at 22:45 hrs on 13th and 27th October, 2015 (Tuesdays), arrive/depart Malkajgiri at 23:10/ 23.11 hrs and arrive Sai Nagar Shirdi at 12:15 hrs on the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07268 Sai Nagar Shirdi – Kacheguda special train will depart Sai Nagar Shirdi at 19:10 hrs on 14th and 28thOctober, 2015 (Wednesdays) and arrive/depart Malkajgiri at 09:05/09.06 hrs on the next day and arrive at Kacheguda at 09:35 hrs.

Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Jalna, Aurangabad, Nagarsol, Manmad, Kopargaon and Puntamba stations in both the directions. These trains will have one AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, seven Sleeper Class and six General Second Class and two Second class Luggage Cum Brake van Coaches.
