Railways will run weekly special train between Sainagar Shirdi and Vijayawada until further advice to clear the extra rush of passengers as per details given below:

  • 07208 special will leave Sainagar Shirdi every Wednesday at 17.20 hrs with effect from 07.4.2021 until further advice and arrive Vijayawada at 15.15 hrs next day.
  • 07207 special will leave Vijayawada every Tuesday at 10.15 hrs with effect from 06.4.2021 until further advice and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 09.10 hrs next day.

TRAIN NO. 11104/11103 BANDRA (T) – JHANSI BI – WEEKLY EXPRESS TO BE CONVERTED INTO TWO WEEKLY SERVICES
For the convenience of passengers, Western Railway has decided to convert the existing Bi – Weekly train between Bandra (T) & Jhansi into two different Weekly trains, o­ne with existing train no. and the other with new train no. and with additional coaches, the details of which are given below.
According to a press release issued by Western Railway, the existing Train no. 11104 Bandra (T) - Jhansi Bi – Weekly Express presently departing from Bandra Terminus o­n Tuesdays & Wednesdays will now be run as Weekly Express departing o­n Wednesdays o­nly, with the same train no., exisiting composition consisting of 15 coaches & comprising of AC 3 Tier, Sleeper Class & General Second Class coaches. The arrival/departure timings and also the enroute halt stations will remain unchanged. The other service of Bandra (T) - Jhansi Bi - Weekly Express will be run as Weekly Express departing from Bandra Terminus o­n Tuesdays o­nly and will be renumbered as Train no. 11804 with new composition consisting of 21 coaches comprising of AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper Class & General Second Class coaches. The arrival/departure timings and the enroute halt stations of this train will also remain the same as the original train. The first service of Train no. 11804 Bandra (T) - Jhansi Weekly Express will be from Tuesday, 24thSeptember, 2019 and the first service of Train no. 11803 Jhansi - Bandra (T) Weekly Express will be from Sunday, 22nd September, 2019

For the convenience of passengers and to clear the extra rush during the summer, Western Rly will run 26 trips of Weekly Special train o­n special fare between Ahmedabad and Chennai Central via Vasai Road.

Train No.06052Ahmedabad – Chennai Central[Weekly]Special Train will leave Ahmedabad at 09:40hrs o­n Mondayreach Vasai Road at 16:55hrsthe same day and will arrive at Chennai Centralat 17:10hrs o­n Tuesday(next day). This train will run from 8thApril to 1st July, 2019.
Similarly, Train No.06051 Chennai Central -Ahmedabad[Weekly]Special Train will leave Chennai Central hrs at 20.10 hrs o­n Saturday reach Vasai Road at 22.35 hrs the nextday and will arrive at Ahmedabad at 05.45hrs, o­n Monday. This train will run from 6thApril to 29th June, 2019.
The train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier and Sleeper class coaches. The train will halt at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Boisar, Vasai Road, Kalyan. Lonawala, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Wadi, Yadgir, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal Jn., Gooty, Tadipatri, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah, Razampeta, Koduru, Renigunta and Arkkonam stations in both directions. However, Train No. 06052 will also haltat Perambur station.
The booking for Train No. 06052 will be opened from 21st March, 2019 at all PRS counters and IRCTC website.

For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand during the summer season, Western Railway will run 26 services of Weekly Summer Special train between Bandra (T) – Allahabad on special fare.
·Train no. 04134/ 04133 Bandra Terminus - Allahabad - Bandra Terminus(Weekly) Summer Special Train [26 services]
Train No. 04134 Bandra Terminus - Allahabad Weekly Summer Special train will leave Bandra Terminus at 21.40 hrs o­n every Thursday and will reach Allahabad Jn at 03.30 hrs o­n Saturday. This train will run from 5th April to 28thJune, 2018.
Similarly, Train No. 04133 Allahabad - Bandra Terminus Weekly Summer Special train will leave Allahabad at 08.30 hrs o­n every Wednesday and reach Bandra Terminus at 17.05 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 4th April to 27thJune, 2018.
This train will have AC II Tier, Sleeper class and General Second class coaches.
The train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Udhna, Nandurbar, Amalner, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Bhopal, Lalitpur, Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur Central and Fathepur stations in both directions.

13129 Up Kolkata-Khulna Bandhan Express will leave Kolkata Station every Thursday at 07.10 hrs. (IST) and will reach Khulna Station in Bangladesh at 12.30 hrs. (BST).
13130 Down Khulna-Kolkata Bandhan Express will leave Khulna Station at 13.30 hrs. (BST) o­n every Thursday and reach Kolkata Station at 18.10 hrs. (IST).

Ministry of Railways will introduce a new weekly superfast train between Pune and Kazipet via Daund-Manmad-Akola-Wardha-Balharshah. Inaugural service will be flagged off by Shri Hansraj Ahir, Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs, Govt. of India on 20.10.2017 at 2145 hrs.
The details of train are as under:

  • 22151 Weekly Express will leave Pune at 21.45 hrs every Friday from 20.10.2017 and arrive Kazipet at 18.35 hrs next day. 
  • 22152 Weekly Express will leave Kazipet at 13.35 hrs every Sunday from 22.10.2017 and arrive Pune at 11.05 hrs next day. 
  • Halts: Daund, Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Dhamangaon, Pulgaon, Wardha, Warora, Chandrapur, Balharshah, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Ramagundam, Peddapalli.

Central Railway will run 60 more special trains as directed by Shri Suresh Prabhu, Hon’ble Minister of Railways to clear the extra rush of passengers during Ganpati Festival. This is in addition to 142 specials already announced.  The details of 60 additional specials are as under -
(1) Pune – Sawantwadi Road Weekly specials (8)
Train No. 01437 Special will leave Pune at 16.35 hrs o­n every Friday from 18.8.2017 to 8.9.2017 (4 trips) and arrive Sawantwadi Road at 04.20 hrs next day.
Train No. 01438 Special will leave Sawantwadi Road at 08.00 hrs o­n every Monday from 21.8.2017 to 11.9.2017 (4 trips) and arrive Pune at 21.25 hrs same day.

To clear the extra rush of passengers, it has been decided to run thirteen pairs of Special trains between Shalimar-Bhanjpur-Shalimar during the period from 07.07.17 to 01.10.17 and another 13 pairs of special trains between Bhanjpur-Puri-Bhanjpur during the period from 07.07.17 to 30.09.17
Shalimar-Bhanjpur-Shalimar Special (13 Pairs)
The Special Train (08093) leaving Shalimar every Friday at 17:35 hrs will reach Bhanjpur at 22:45 hrs o­n same day. In the return direction, the Special Train (08094) will leave Bhanjpur every Sundayat 06:15 hrs and will arrive Shalimar at 12:20 hrs o­n the same day.
The Special train will have eight General Second Class coaches. The train will have stoppages at Santragachi, Panskura, Kharagpur, Belda, Jaleswar, Basta, Rupsa, Jugpura, Betnoti, Krishnachandrapur and Baripada between Shalimar and Bhanjpur.
Bhanjpur-Puri-Bhanjpur Special (13 Pairs)
The Special Train (08091) leaving Bhanjpur every Friday at 23:50 hrs will reach Puri at 06:30 hrs, the next day. In the return direction, the Special Train (08092) will leave Puri every Saturdayat 22:45 hrs and will arrive Bhanjpur at 04:45 hrs, the next day.

Shri Prabhu said that the total outlay for projects in Madhya Pradesh is Rs 5376 crore, which is 354% increase from 2009-13. It will help in expediting o­ngoing projects. o­n this occasion, Smt Sumitra Mahajan, Hon'ble Lok Sabha Speaker said that several developmental rail projects in the region, under the leadership of Shri Prabhu, have played an important role in the development of the state of Madhya Pradesh. Shri Prabhu and Smt Mahajan dedicated the electrification of Indore-Dr Ambedkar Nagar section to the nation.
A new train 19305/19306 between Indore and Guwahati was introduced, which will increase connectivity of Malwa region with 4 States and immensely benefit the people. Indore-Guwahati-Indore Weekly Express will run with state of the art LHB coaches for comfort of passengers. In its regular run, Train No.19305 Indore-Guwahati Weekly Express will depart from Indore every Thursday at 14.00 hrs to reach Guwahati on Saturday at 14.25 hrs. w.e.f. 13/07/2017. Similarly, Train No. 19306 Guwahati-Indore Weekly Express will leave Guwahati every Sunday at 05.15 hrs to reach Indore at 07.10 hrs o­n Tuesday w.e.f. 16/07/2017. Train No 11704/11703 Indore-Rewa Express was also extended at this function. The train will now run upto Dr Ambedkar Nagar station (MHOW) for the convenience of people. Extension of this train will provide direct connectivity of Dr Ambedkar Nagar with Rewa & Jabalpur.
Shri Prabhu also released a coffee table book "Simhastha 2016 – A Railway Perspective" o­n Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2016, Ujjain, during the function. Memoirs of this Mela enumerating the details  pertaining to planning and management of the event, has been brought out in the Coffee table book. Smt Sumitra Mahajan and Shri Prabhu appreciated railway’s role in Simhastha Mela.

EXTENSION OF RUN OF SPECIAL TRAIN
To clear extra rush of rail passengers, Railways have decided to extend the run of 04111/04112 Allahabad- Jammu Tawi - Allahabad Weekly Special Train as per the following programme-
·The 04111/04112 Allahabad- Jammu Tawi - Allahabad Weekly Special Train will be extended to run o­n every Wednesday from 05.07.2017 to 30.08.2017 (09 trips) when departing from  Allahabad and o­n every Thursday from  06.07.2017 to 31.08.2017  when departing from Jammu Tawi  (09 trips).

South Western Railway has decided running of Train No. 06513 Bangarapet -Marikuppam one way weekly MEMU special and Train No. 06512 Marikuppam -Banaswadi one way weekly MEMU special on every Sunday with effect from 02nd July, 2017 until further advise.
Train No. 06513 Bangarapet - Marikuppam one way weekly MEMU special will depart Bangarapet on every Sunday at 07:10 Hrs.Enroute, the train arrives/departs BEML Nagar at 07:20/07:22; Coromandal at 07:25/07:26; Oorgaum at 07:28/07:29; Champion at 07:32/07:33 and reaches Marikuppam at 07:45 hrs.
Train No. 06512 Marikuppam -Banaswadi one way weekly MEMU special will depart Marikuppam on every Sunday at 08:00 Hrs.Enroute, the train arrives/departs Champion at 08:04/08:05; Oorgaum at 08:09/08:10; Coromandal at 08:14/08:15; BEML Nagar at 08:18/08:19; Bangarapet at 08:33/08:35; Tyakal at 08:49/08:50; Byatrayahalli at 08:56/08:57; Malur at 09:06/09:07; Devangonthi at 09:16/09:17; Whitefield at 09:25/09:26; Krishnarajapuram at 09:38/09:40; Baiyyappanhalli at 09:44/09:45 and reaches Banaswadi at 10:20 hrs.
