SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN HUBBALLI  AND KARAIKKUDI

It has been decided to run summer special trains o­n demand (07389/07390) between Shree Siddharoodha Swamiji Hubballi Junction and Karaikkudi Junction for o­ne trip in each direction to clear the extra rush of passenger in view of summer holidays, as per details mentioned below: -

Train No. 07389 SSS Hubballi – Karaikkudi Summer Special Express will depart from SSS Hubballi at 06:30 AM o­n April 28, 2023 and reach Karaikkudi at 12:35 AM o­n the next day.

The special train (07389) will arrive / depart enroute stations at SMM Haveri - 07:45/07:47 AM,  Ranibennur – 08:16/08:17 AM, Harihar – 08:38/08:40 AM, Davangere – 08:55/08:57 AM, Chikjajur – 09:35/09:37 AM, Birur – 10:23/10:25 AM, Arsikere – 11:05/11:10 AM, Tumakuru – 12:30/12:32 PM, Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru – 02:40/02:50 PM, Krishnarajapuram – 03:16/03:18 PM, Bangarapet – 04:03/04:05 PM, Salem – 06:45/06:55 PM, Namakkal – 07:44/07:45 PM, Karur – 08:23/08:25 PM, Tiruchchirappalli – 10:05/10:10 PM and Pudukkotai – 11:23/11:25 PM.

In the return direction, Train No. 07390 Karaikkudi – SSS Hubballi Summer Special Express will leave Karaikkudi at 12:10 PM o­n April 29, 2023 and arrive at SSS Hubballi at 05:20 AM o­n the next day.

This train (07390) will arrive / depart enroute stations atPudukkotai – 12:43/12:45 PM, Tiruchchirappalli – 02:00/02:05 PM, Karur – 03:28/03:30 PM, Namakkal – 04:03/04:05 PM, Salem – 04:50/05:00 PM, Bangarapet – 07:35/07:36 PM, Krishnarajapuram – 08:26/08:28 PM, Sir M. Due to non-interlocking works for yard remodelling at Ashokapuram station, the following trains will be cancelled / regulated, as detailed below:

CANCELLATION OF TRAINS:

1.Train No. 06299/06300 Nanjangud Town - Mysuru - Nanjangud Town Daily Special Express will be cancelled from April 22 to 27, 2023.

2.Train No. 06275/06276 Chamarajanagar - Mysuru – Chamarajanagar Daily Special Express will be cancelled from April 22 to 27, 2023.

REGULATION OF TRAINS:

1.On April 27, 2023, Train No. 06234 Chamarajanagar – Mysuru Daily Passenger Special will be regulated for 60 minutes enroute.

1.Train No. 12889 Tatanagar – Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Weekly Superfast Express commencing journey from Tatanagar o­n April 21, 2023 is diverted to run via Nidadavolu Jn., Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada and Vijayawada Jn.

2.Train No. 18637 Hatia – Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Weekly Express commencing journey from Hatia o­n April22, 2023 will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu Jn., Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada and Vijayawada Jn.

II.REGULATION OF TRAIN No. 17310

Central Railway has notified for regulation of the following trains due to traffic and power block for engineering works between Patas – Daund and Hadapsar – Loni sections, as detailed below:

1.Train No. 11302 KSR Bengaluru - Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Daily Express leaving from KSR Bengaluru o­n April 20, 2023 will be regulated for 1 hour 35 minutes over Central Railwa

2.Train No. 12780 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Vasco Da Gama Daily Express leaving from Hazrat Nizamuddin o­n April 20, 2023 will be regulated for 40 minutes over Central Railway.

I.PERMANENT AUGMENTATION OF COACHES

South Central Railway has notified for permanent augmentation of additional 1 - AC Two tier coach and 2 - AC three tier coaches for the following trains, as detailed below:

1.Train No. 17211 Machelipatnam - Yesvantpur Kondaveedu Express will be permanently augmented with additional 1- AC Two tier coach and 2- AC Three tier coaches with effect from April 24, 2023.

2.Train No. 17212 Yesvantpur – Machelipatnam Kondaveedu Express will be permanently augmented with additional 1- AC Two tier coach and 2- AC Three tier coaches with effect from April 25, 2023.

II.TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF COACHES

North Western Railway has notified for temporary augmentation of o­ne additional AC three tier coach for the following trains to clear the extra rush of passengers, as detailed below:

1.Train No. 14806 Barmer – Yesvantpur Weekly Express will be temporarily augmented with o­ne additional AC-Three tier coach with effect from April 20 to May 25, 2023.

2.Train No. 14805 Yesvantpur – Barmer Weekly Express will be temporarily augmented with o­ne additional AC-Three tier coach with effect from April 24 to May 29, 2023.

Hence , there will be no block o­n WR suburban section o­n Sunday, 4th April, 2021.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the block some of the slowline trains will be worked o­n fast lines between Vasai and Virar .Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

4.  Train No. 02080 SSS Hubballi – KSR Bengaluru Janshatabdi Superfast Express Special commencing journey from SSS Hubballi  from 17.02.2021 to 24.02.2021 (8 days) will be partially cancelled between SSS Hubballi and Haveri. The train will be originated from Haveri at it’s scheduled time instead of SSS Hubballi.

Accordingly the train will be originated from Davangere instead of Dharwad.

DIVERSION:

I.  EXTENSION OF THE SERVICES OF TRAINS

It is decided to extend the services of following trains to facilitate public to travel, in view of upcoming festivals(Christmas, New Year and Makar Sankranti) as detailed below:-1. Train No. 06515 KSR Bengaluru – Mangaluru Central Express Special was notified to run earlier up to 24.12.2020 will be further extended up to 30.01.2021. There will be no change in frequency, timings, route, composition and fare structure of this train.

2. Train No. 06516 Mangaluru Central – KSR Bengaluru Express Special was notified to run earlier up to 25.12.2020 will be further extended up to 31.01.2021. There will be no change in frequency, timings, route, composition and fare structure of this train.. 

3.Train No. 02253 Yesvantpur – Bhagalpur Weekly Festival Express Special was notified to run earlier up to 26.12.2020 will be further extended up to 23.01.2021 o­n every Saturday. The train will run via Bhattanagar instead of Howrah with effect commencing journey from Yesvantpur from 02.01.2021.

4. Train No. 02254 Bhagalpur – Yesvantpur Weekly Festival Express Special was notified to run earlier up to 30.12.2020 will be further extended up to 27.01.2021 o­n every Wednesday. The train will run via Bhattanagar instead of Howrah with effect commencing journey from Bhagalpur from 06.01.2021.

5. Train No. 02845 Bhubaneswar – Bengaluru Cantonment Weekly Festival Superfast Express Special was notified to run earlier up to 27.12.2020 will be further extended from 03.01.2021 to 31.01.2021 o­n every Sunday. There will be no change in frequency, timings, route, composition and fare structure of this train.

6. Train No. 02845 Bhubaneswar – Bengaluru Cantonment Weekly Festival Superfast Express Special was notified to run earlier up to 28.12.2020 will be further extended from 04.01.2021 to 01.02.2021 o­n every Monday. There will be no change in frequency, timings, route, composition and fare structure of this train.

II.  CORRIGENDUM IN PRESS RELEASE NO. 321

Arrival/departure timings of Train No. 02657 MGR Chennai Central - KSR Bengaluru Festival Express Special at Bengaluru East to be corrected as 03:54/03:55 hrs.

Responding to public demand South Western Railway has decided to run following 28 additional special express trains with normal fare with effect from the date mentioned against each as detailed below. The following trains will be immensely helpful to commuters of Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa:-

1.Train No. 06233/06234 Mysuru -  Chamarajanagar  - Mysuru Daily Express Special will run  from 07.12.2020 to 16.12.2020 from both sides:-

The timings and stoppages of the trains will be same as of Train No. 56210/56209 Mysuru -  Chamarajanagar  - Mysuru Passenger.

The train will have composition of o­nE 1st AC Coach, o­nE AC 2-Tier Coach, TWO AC 3-Tier Coaches, ELEVEN Second Class Sleeper Coaches, FOUR General Second Class Coaches and TWO Second Class Luggage cum Brake-Vans.

2.Train No. 07322/07321 Dharwad -  Solapur  - Dharwad Daily Express Special will run from Dharwad from 07.12.2020 to 16.12.2020 and from Solapur  from 08.12.2020 to 17.12.2020 :-

9.Train No. 02725/02726  KSR Bengaluru-Dharwad-KSR Bengaluru Daily Superfast Intercity Express Special will run with effect from 07.12.2020 to 16.12.2020 from Bengaluru and from 08.12.2020 to 17.12.2020 from Dharwad.

The timings and stoppages will be same as of Train No. 12725/12726 KSR Bengaluru-Dharwad-KSR Bengaluru Intercity Express. 

The train composition will have 21 coaches comprising of o­nE AC Chair Car coach, EIGHTEEN Second class chair car coaches  and TWO Second Luggage-cum-Brakevan coaches.

10.Train No. 06589/06590  KSR Bengaluru-Miraj - KSR Bengaluru Daily Express Special will run with effect from 07.12.2020 to 16.12.2020 from Bengaluru and from 08.12.2020 to 17.12.2020 from Miraj.

The timings will be same as that of Train No.16589/16590 KSR Bengaluru-Kolhapur -KSR Bengaluru Rani Chennamma Express upto Miraj. The stoppages will be same as that of Train No.16589/16590 KSR Bengaluru-Kolhapur -KSR Bengaluru Rani Chennamma Express upto Miraj except Ammasandra.

The train composition will have 18 coaches comprising of o­nE First Class AC Coach, o­nE AC 2-tier Coach, o­nE AC 3-tier Coach, TEN Sleeper Coaches, THREE Second Class Coaches and TWO Second Luggage-cum-Brakevan coaches.

11.Train No. 06227/06228 Mysuru – Talguppa - Mysuru Daily Express Special will run with effect from 09.12.2020 to 18.12.2020 from Mysuru and 10.12.2020 to 19.12.2020 from Talguppa.

The timings will be same as that of Train No. 16227/16228 Mysuru-Talguppa-Mysuru Express. The stoppages will be same as that of Train No. 16227/16228 Mysuru-Talguppa-Mysuru Express except Shrirangapatna, Hanakere, Settihally, Hejjala and Byadarahalli for T.No. 06227 and Hanakere, Byadarahalli, Malleswaram and Shrirangapatna for T.No. 06228.

The timings and  stoppages will be same as that of Train No. 20651/20652 KSR Bengaluru-Talguppa -KSR Bengaluru Intercity Express. 

The train composition will have 21 coaches comprising of o­nE AC Chair Car coach, EIGHTEEN Second class chair car coaches  and TWO Second Luggage-cum-Brakevan coaches.

13.Train No. 07307/07308 Mysuru - Bagalkot - Mysuru Daily Express Special will run with effect from 07.12.2020 to 16.12.2020 from Mysuru and from 08.12.2020 to 17.12.2020 from Bagalkot.

The timings will be same as that of Train No. 17307/17308 Mysuru-Bagalkot -Mysuru Express.  The stoppages will be same as that of Train No. 17307/17308 Mysuru-Bagalkot -Mysuru Express except Nimbal.

The train composition will have 19 coaches comprising of  o­nE AC 2-tier Coach, TWO AC 3-tier Coaches, NINE Sleeper Coaches, FIVE Second Class Coaches and TWO Second Luggage-cum-Brakevan coaches.

14.Train No. 07337/07338 Hubballi – Ballari – Hubballi Daily Express Special will run from Hubballi from 07.12.2020 to 16.12.2020 and from Ballari from 08.12.2020 to 17.12.2020:-

Train No. 07337 Hubballi – Ballari Daily Express Special will depart from Hubballi at 08:00 hrs and arrive Ballari 13:00 hrs o­n the same day.

In the return Train No. 07338 Ballari –  Hubballi Daily Express Special will depart from Ballari at 16:00 hrs and arrive Hubballi at 21:00 hrs o­n  the same day.

Enroute the train will have stoppages at Kusugali, Hebsur, Sisvinhalli, Navalgund, Annigeri, Hulkoti, Binkadakatti, Gadag, Kanginhal, Harlapur, Sompur Road, Banni Koppa, Bhanapur, Koppal, Ginigera, Munirabad, Hosapete, Kariganuru, Papinayaknahali, Bayaluvaddigeri, Gadiganuru, Toranagallu, Duroji, Kudatini Ballari Cant in both directions.

The train will have a composition of 8 coaches comprising of SIX General Coaches and TWO Second Class Luggage cum Brake-Vans.

All the norms of the State and Central Government regarding Covid-19 including social distancing, sanitization etc., may be followed in the trains and at the Railway stations.

REVISION IN TIMINGS OF TRAINS Timings of following festival special trains will be revised at some sations due to change of traction as detailed below:-

1.Train No. 02251 Yesvantpur – Korba Superfast Express Special will depart from Yesvantpur at 23:10 hrs instead of 23:40 hrs and arrive/depart with revised timings at Dharmavaram – 02:20/02:25 hrs with effect commencing journey from Yesvantpur from 06.11.2020.

2.Train No. 02252 Korba – Yesvantpur Superfast Express Special will arrive/depart with revised timings at Dharmavaram – 10:35/10:40 hrs and arrive Yesvantpur at 13:50 hrs instead of 13:30 hrs with effect commencing journey from Korba from 08.11.2020.

3.Train No. 06231 Mayiladuturai – Mysuru Express Special will arrive/depart with revised timings at Bengaluru Cantonment – 04:53/04:55 hrs, KSR Bengaluru – 05:25/05:55 hrs, Kengeri – 06:14/06:15 hrs, Mandya – 07:19/07:21 hrs and arrive Mysuru at 08:40 hrs instead of 08:30 hrs with effect commencing journey from Mayiladuturai from 03.11.2020.

4.Train No. 06536 Solapur – Mysuru Express Special will arrive/depart with revised timings at Tumakuru – 05:58/06:00 hrs, Yesvantpur – 07:10/07:30 hrs with effect commencing journey from Solapur from 03.11.2020.

5.Train No. 06535 Mysuru - Solapur Express Special will arrive/depart with revised timings at KSR Bengaluru – 18:30/18:35 hrs, Yesvantpur – 18:50/19:10 hrs, Tumakuru – 20:00/20:02 hrs with effect commencing journey from Mysuru from 03.11.2020.

There will be no change in timings of above trains at their other stoppages.

Railways has decided to start forty (40) pairs of special train services with effect from 12.09.2020 o­n specific routes.  These services shall be in addition to the Shramik specials and the special trains, which are already in operation. These will be fully reserved trains. Stoppages shall be restricted in view of suggestions of State Government.

Services of 7 pairs of trains of South Western Railway shall also start with stoppages & timings indicated as under with effect from date mentioned as detailed below:-

1.Train No. 06539/06540 KSR Bengaluru – Mysuru – KSR Bengaluru Special Express except Sunday:-

Train No. 06539 KSR Bengaluru – Mysuru Special Express will depart KSR Bengaluru at 10:30 hrs and arrive Mysuru at 13:30 hrs daily except Sunday with effect from 12.09.2020 to until further advise.Enroute the train will have existing timings & stoppages of Train No. 16558 KSR Bengaluru – Mysuru Express.

In the return direction Train No. 06540 Mysuru – KSR Bengaluru Special Express will depart Mysuru at 14:30 hrs and arrive KSR Bengaluru at 17:10 hrs daily except Sunday with effect from 12.09.2020 to until further advice. Enroute the train will have existing timings & stoppages of Train No. 16557 Mysuru – KSR Bengaluru Express.

The train will have a composition of 16 coaches i.e. FOURTEEN Second Class Chair Cars & TWO Luggage cum Break-Vans.
