NO DAY BLOCK on WR on SUNDAY on 4TH APRIL, 2021 WR’s NIGHT BLOCK BETWEEN VASAI ROAD & VIRAR STATIONS DURING NIGHT OF 4th April, 2021

To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block of Four hours will be taken on UP & DOWN slow lines between Vasai Road and Virar from 00.30 hrs to 04.30 hrs in the night on Sunday i.e 4th April, 2021. Hence , there will be no block on WR suburban section on Sunday, 4th April, 2021.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the block some of the slowline trains will be worked on fast lines between Vasai and Virar .Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling & overhead equipment, a block of four hours will be undertaken on Up & Dn slow lines from 00.30 hrs to 04.30 hrs during intermittent night of Saturday, 28th & Sunday, 29th December, 2019 between Vasai Road and Virar stations. During the block some of the Dn slow trains will be run on Dn fast lines between Vasai Road & Virar stations. Therefore, there will be no DAY BLOCK on Sunday, 29th December, 2019 over Western Railway’s Mumbai Suburban Section. Passengers are requested to please take note of the above arrangements.

NIGHT BLOCK on FAST LINES BETWEEN MATUNGA ROAD AND MUMBAI CENTRAL (LOCAL) STATIONS

DURING MIDNIGHT OF 15th & 16TH DECEMBER, 2018

To carry out maintenance work of track, signalling & overhead equipment, five hours jumbo block will be taken on Up fast lines and 5th line between Matunga Road and Mumbai Central (Local) stations during midnight of Saturday, 15th December, 2018 & Sunday, 16th December, 2018 from 23.45 hrs to 03.45 hrs.

During the block, all Up fast line trains will run on Up slow line between Santacruz and Churchgate stations.Therefore, this Sunday, no day block is scheduled on W.Rly's Suburban Section. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

WR'S NIGHT BLOCK BETWEEN MAHIM JN. AND MUMBAI CENTRAL LOCAL

A night block will be taken from 23:40 hrs to 04:40 hrs on Dn slow line during the midnight falling between Sunday,13th/Monday,14th March, 2016 between Mahim Jn. and Mumbai Central Local stations for maintenance of tracks, signaling and overhead equipments.

During the block, all down slow line trains will run on down fast line between Churchgate and Mahim stations. These diverted trains will not halt at Mahalaxmi, Elphinstone Road and Matunga Road for want of platform. Hence passengers are allowed to travel in opposite direction for their destinations between Bandra and Mumbai Central local stations. All 12-car slow trains will take double halt at Lower Parel and Mahim Jn. Last local in up direction i.e.VR 91182(departing time at 00.05hrs) will be detained at Mahim Jn. up to arrival of last local in down direction i.e. BVI91243(departing from Borivali 01.00hrs) to facilitate passengers of Matunga Road, Elphinstone Road and Mahalaxmi. Due to the block, some up & down local trains will remain cancelled, the information of which will be available at all stations in the suburban section.

Hence there will not be any Jumbo block in day time on this Sunday. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

During the block, some Mail/Express trains may be delayed by 10 to 15 minutes.
