Special Night Traffic and Power Block for Launching of FOB plate girders at Kurla o­n 18/19-03-2023 (Sat/Sun midnight)

Central Railway will operate night traffic and power block o­n Up fast line and Dn Harbour line for launching of five plate girders of 8.0 M wide Foot Over Bridge at Kurla station using 140 T Railway Crane

The block will be operated o­n 18/19-03-2023 (Saturday/Sunday Night time) from 11.50 pm to 04.20 am (4 hrs 30 minutes) o­n Up fast line from Vikhroli to Matunga and o­n Dn  Harbour line from Vadala Road to Mankhurd

Due to this the train running pattern will be as under:

Suburban:

UP and Down Harbour line services will not be available during Block period.

Last local o­n Dn harbour line will be PL-203 leaving CSMT at 11.14 pm

Last local o­n Up harbour line will be PL-186 leaving Vadala Road at 11.08 pm.

Mail/Express

Train No 11020 Konark Express

Train No 12810 Howrah – Mumbai Mail via Nagpur

Train No 12134 Mangaluru- Mumbai Express

Train No 12702 Hyderabad-Mumbai Hussain Sagar Express

Will be diverted o­n UP slow line between Mulund and Matunga and will arrive destination 10 to15 min behind schedule.

Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused due to this infrastructure block.

NO DAY BLOCK o­n WR o­n SUNDAY

WR’s NIGHT BLOCK BETWEEN BORIVALI & GOREGAON STATIONS

To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block of four hours will be taken o­n 5th line from 23.00 hrs to 03.00 hrs and three hours block will be taken o­n Up fast line from 00.00 hrs to 03.00 hrs between Borivali and Goregaon stations in the intermediary night of Saturday/Sunday i.e. 3rd/4th July, 2021.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, some Up fast line locals will run o­n Up slow line between Borivali and Andheri stations during the block. There will be no jumbo block in day time o­n this Sunday i.e. 4th July, 2021. Passengers are requested to please take note of the above arrangements.

DURING MIDNIGHT o­n SATURDAY/SUNDAY, 18th/19thJANUARY, 2020
A night block will be taken from 23.45 hrs to 03.45 hrs during the intermittent night of Saturday, 18th January & Sunday, 19thJanuary, 2020 o­n Up fast & 5th lines between Matunga Road and Mumbai Central (Local) stations of Western Railway for maintenance of track, signaling and overhead equipment. During the block all Up fast line trains will run o­n Up slow line between Santacruz and Churchgate stations. Therefore, there will be no block in day time over W.Rly's suburban section o­n this Sunday, 19thJanuary, 2020. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements

Night Traffic Blocks between Dadar and Matunga for Commissioning of New Route Relay Interlocking System
Central Railway will operate night traffic blocks for o­n Up and Down lines between Dadar and Matunga for commissioning of new Route Relay Interlocking Panel at Dadar and Matunga station. The details are  as under:-
BLOCK- 1
On 13/14.12.2018 (Thursday- Friday Night) o­n Up and Dn lines from 00.50 hrs to 05.00 hrs
Train running pattern will be as under:-
Cancellation of UP and DN local trains
C-49 Kurla local leaving CSMT at 23.48 hrs o­n 13.12.2018 and C-1 Kurla local leaving CSMT at 00.31 hrs o­n 14.12.2018 will remain cancelled.
C-2 and C-6 CSMT locals leaving Kurla at 04.51 hrs and 05.54 hrs o­n 14.12.2018 will remain cancelled.
Partial Cancellation of UP and DN local trains
DL-54 CSMT slow local leaving Dombivali at 22.18 hrs, DDL-10 Dadar slow local leaving Dombivali at 22.48 hrs and DK- 42 Dadar up slow local leaving Kalyan at 23.12 hrs o­n 13.12.2018 will run upto Kurla.
A-3 Ambernath local leaving CSMT at 05.24 will run Ex. Vidyavihar at 05.55 hrs o­n 14.12.2018.
Diversion of Slow locals o­n fast line

Central Railway will operate a Traffic and Power Block o­n Kalyan- Kasara section o­n Up line between Atgaon (excluding) and Vasind (excluding) at Kms 85/13-15 for launching of 4 girders of 6.0 meter wide Foot over bridge at Asangaon. The block period will be -

During the block period, all fast line trains will run o­n slow lines between Goregaon and Santacruz stations and Down fifth line Mail/Express trains will run o­n Down fast line.

WR'S 2 NIGHT BLOCKS BETWEEN CHURCHGATE AND MUMBAI CENTRAL                                                                                                            
Two small night blocks will be taken o­n Western Railway's suburban section this weekend. Accordingly
  • 1st block will be taken on Up slow line and and Dn fast line  between Marine Lines and Mumbai Central from 00.45 hrs to 04.45 hrs and 
  • 2ndblock will be taken o­n similar lines between Churchgate and Marine Lines from 02.15 hrs to 04.45 hrs  during the midnight falling between Saturday, 16th September, 2017 & Sunday, 17th September, 2017 for the maintenance of track, signaling and overhead equipments. 
  • During the block period all Up slow trains will run on Up fast lines between Mumbai Central and Churchgate. Due to this, some Up and Dn suburban trains will remain cancelled.
  • Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

Therefore, during day time o­n this Sunday 17th Sept 2017, no day block is scheduled on Western Railway's suburban section.

WR'S NIGHT  BLOCK BETWEEN MAHIM JN. AND MUMBAI CENTRAL LOCAL

A night  block will be taken from 23:40 hrs to 04:40 hrs  on Dn  slow line during the midnight falling between Sunday,13th/Monday,14th March, 2016 between Mahim Jn. and Mumbai Central Local stations for maintenance of tracks, signaling and overhead equipments.

During the block, all down slow line trains will run o­n down fast line between Churchgate and Mahim stations. These diverted trains will not halt at Mahalaxmi, Elphinstone Road and Matunga Road for want of platform. Hence passengers are allowed to travel in opposite direction for their destinations between Bandra and Mumbai Central local stations. All 12-car slow trains will take double halt at Lower Parel and Mahim Jn. Last local in up direction i.e.VR 91182(departing time at 00.05hrs) will be detained at Mahim Jn. up to arrival of last local in down direction i.e. BVI91243(departing from Borivali 01.00hrs) to facilitate passengers of Matunga Road, Elphinstone Road and Mahalaxmi. Due to the block, some up & down local trains will remain cancelled, the information of which will be available at all stations in the suburban section.

No Day Block on W.Rly this Sunday i.e. 6/12/2015                                                                                                                
A Jumbo block will be taken from 00.10hrs to 04.10 hrs o­n Up Through line (i.e. fast line) & from 00.25 hrs to 04.25 hrs on Dn Through line (i.e. fast line) during the night falling between Friday, 4th December, 2015 and Saturday, 5th December, 2015 between Santacruz and Dadar stations for maintenance of track, signaling and overhead equipment. During the block all Up fast line trains will run o­n Up Local line (i.e. slow line) between Santacruz and Mumbai Central.

Hence there will no jumbo block o­n this Sunday i.e. 6th December, 2015 on WESTERN RAILWAY  suburban section.

WESTERN RAILWAY TO OPERATE NIGHT BLOCK AT BANDRA TERMINUS (MAIN) AND YARD

A jumbo block will be undertaken from 00.15 hrs to 04.15 hrs during the midnight of Saturday, 26th September and Sunday, 27th September, 2015 at Bandra Terminus (Main) and Yard for maintenance of track, signaling and overhead equipments. Hence, there will not be any Jumbo block o­n this Sunday, 27th September, 2015 during day time on WR's suburban section.  Therefore, no suburban services are likely to be affected on Western Railway due to block.

A jumbo block will be taken from 23.50 hrs to 03.50 hrs on Up through line and fifth line during the night falling between Saturday, 12th Sept, 2015 & Sunday, 13th Sept, 2015 between Mumbai Central Local and Mahim Jn. for maintenance of track, signaling and overhead equipments. Therefore, there will not be any day block on Sunday, 13th Sept, 2015 on Western Railway’s suburban section.

During the block, all up through line trains will run o­n up local line between Santacruz and Mumbai Central stations which will be delayed by 10 minutes.

A night block will be carried out from 00.00 hrs to 02.40 hrs on Up through (Fast) line and from 01.20 hrs to 04.10 hrs on Down through (Fast) line during midnight of Saturday/Sunday i.e. 9th/10thMay, 2015 between Vaitarna/Virar and Vasai Road for maintenance of track, signaling and overhead equipments. During the block period some Mail/Express trains may be delayed by 10 to 15 minutes. There will be no day block on Western Railway on Sunday, 10th May, 2015.
