There will be no Jumbo Block on this weekend, i.e, on Saturday, 24th October/ Sunday, 25th October, 2020 over Mumbai Suburban Section of Western Railway due to Dussehra festival.

WESTERN RLY'S JUMBO BLOCK BETWEEN BORIVALI AND GOREGAON STATIONS ON SUNDAY,13TH SEPT, 2020
To carry outmaintenance work of tracks, signaling & overhead equipment, a major block of five hours will be taken on UP & DOWN Slow lines between Borivali and Goregaon from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs on Sunday, 13th September, 2020.
According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur - Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Rly, during the block period, all DOWN Slow line special suburban services will run on Fast line between Goregaon & Borivali stations. Similarly, all UP Slow line special suburban services will run on Fast lines between Borivali and Andheri stations. Hence, these services willnot halt at Ram Mandir station. Also, no trains will be dealt from Platform No. 1, 2, 3 & 4 at Borivali station. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

JUMBO BLOCK BETWEEN CHURCHGATE AND MUMBAI CENTRAL (LOCAL) on 23rd FEBRUARY, 2020
To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling & overhead equipment, five hours jumbo block will be taken on Up & Dn slow lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central (Local) stations from 10:35 hrs to 15:35 hrs on Sunday, 23rd February, 2020.
During the block period, all slow line trains will be operated on fast lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central (Local). Due to this, some Up and Dn suburban trains will remain cancelled. WR'S JUMBO BLOCK BETWEEN MARINE LINES AND MAHIM STATIONS ON SUNDAY, 17th NOVEMBER, 2019
A jumbo block of five hours will be taken from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs on Sunday, 17th November, 2019 on Dn slow line between Marine Lines and Mahim stations for maintenance of track, signaling and overhead equipment. During the block all Dn slow line trains will run on Dn fast line between Marine Lines and Mahim Jn. and will not halt at Mahalaxmi, Prabhadevi and Matunga Road, for want of platform. During the block, passengers can travel in opposite direction to their destinations between BANDRA and MUMBAI CENTRAL stations.
All slow services will avail Double halt at Lower Parel and Mahim Jn during block period. Few UP and DN suburban services will remain cancelled during the block, the list of which will be available at all stations in the suburban section. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

JUMBO BLOCK BETWEEN SANTACRUZ AND GOREGAON STATIONS on 13TH OCTOBER, 2019
To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling & overhead equipment, a jumbo block will be taken on Up & Dn slow lines between Santacruz and Goregaon from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs on Sunday, 13thOctober , 2019.
During the block period, suburban services will run on fast lines between Santacruz and Goregaon. All slow suburban services will avail double halt at Vile Parle PF No. 5/6 on fast corridor and will not halt at Ram Mandir station in either direction due to non-availability of platform on the fast corridor .
Few suburban services will remain cancelled during the block period. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

A jumbo block of five hours will be taken from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs on Sunday, 4th August, 2019 on Up & Dn slow lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations for maintenance of track, signaling and overhead equipment. During the block Up & Dn slow line trains will run on Up & Dn fast lines between Santacruz & Goregaon stations.
Hence, all slow services will have double halts at Vile Parle station P/F. 5/6 on the fast corridor. There will be no halt at Ram Mandir station in either direction due to non-availability of Platform on the fast lines.

JUMBO BLOCK ON W. RLY BETWEEN BORIVALI AND BHAYANDAR STATIONS ON SUNDAY, 21st JULY, 2019
To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling & overhead equipment, a day block will be taken from 11.00hrs to 15.00 hrs on Sunday, 21st July, 2019 on Up and Down slow lines between Borivali and Bhayandar stations.
During the block all Up slow trains will run on Up fast line from Virar/Vasai Road to Borivali/Goregaon and all Virar bound Dn slow trains will be run on Dn fast line from Goregaon to Vasai Road/Virar. During the block, there will not be any service originating/terminating from/upto BHAYANDAR.

NIGHT BLOCK BETWEEN VASAI ROAD & BHAYANDAR STATIONS AND MAJOR NIGHT BLOCK AT BANDRA ON SATURDAY/SUNDAY, 4th/5th MAY, 2019
A major night block of six hours will be undertaken at Bandra, in the night hours from 23.00 hrs to 05.00 hrs during intermittent night on 4th/5th May, 2019 on Up fast line, Up & Dn Harbour line for dismantling of girder at Bandra station. During the block, all Up fast trains will be run on Up slow line between Santacruz & Mahim stations. Also there will be no harbor line trains between Andheri & CSMT stations during the block period.
Similarly, a jumbo block of three & half hours will also be taken from 00.30/04.00 hrs during midnight on 4th& 5th May, 2019 on Up & Dn fast line between Vasai Road & Bhayandar stations for maintenance of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment.
Due to block some Up & Dn local trains will remain cancelled, the detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.
THEREFORE, THERE WILL BE NOT BE ANY JUMBO BLOCK IN DAY TIME on SUNDAY, 5th MAY, 2019.

NIGHT BLOCK on FAST LINES BETWEEN MATUNGA ROAD AND MUMBAI CENTRAL (LOCAL) STATIONS DURING MIDNIGHT OF 14th & 15TH APRIL, 2018
To carry out maintenance work of track, signalling & overhead equipment, five hours jumbo block will be taken on Up & Dn fast lines between Matunga Road and Mumbai Central (Local) stations during midnight of Saturday, 14th April, 2018 & Sunday, 15th April, 2018 from 00:00 hrs to 05:00 hrs.India train.
During the block, all Up fast line trains will run on Up slow line between Santacruz and Churchgate stations.
Therefore, this Sunday, no day block is scheduled on W.Rly's Suburban Section. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

A four hours jumbo block will be taken from 11:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs on Sunday, 18th June, 2017 on Up & Dn slow lines between Borivali and Naigaon stations for maintenance of track, signaling and overhead equipments. During the block all Up trains will run on Up fast line Ex- Virar/Vasai Road to Borivali/Goregaon and all down trains will run on down fast line Ex-Goregaon/Borivali to Vasai Road/Virar.

JUMBO BLOCK BETWEEN MARINE LINES & MAHIM JN.-WESTERN RAILWAY
Western Railway's Jumbo block will be carried out from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs on Sunday, 11th June, 2017 on Down Local (i.e. slow) line between Marine Lines and Mahim Jn. for maintenance of track, signalling and overhead equipments.
During the block, all Down slow line trains will be operated on Down through lines (i.e. fast lines) between Marine Lines and Mahim Jn. These diverted trains will not halt at Mahalaxmi, Elphinstone Road, and Matunga Road for want of platform, hence passengers are allowed to travel in opposite direction for their destinations between Bandra & Mumbai Central stations.
All slow services will take double halt at Lower Parel and Mahim Jn. Due to the block, some Up and Down local trains will remain cancelled, the information for which will be available at all stations in the suburban section. Passengers are requested to please take note of the above arrangements.

JUMBO BLOCK on UP & DOWN FAST LINES BETWEEN GOREGAON AND BORIVALI STATIONS
To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling & overhead equipments, a jumbo block will be undertaken between Goregaon and Borivali stations on UP & DOWN Fast lines from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs on Sunday i.e. 26th June, 2016.
During the block period, all UP & DOWN Fast line trains will run on Slow lines between Goregaon and Borivali stations. Due to the block, some Up and Down trains will remain cancelled.
During the block period, train leaving from Churchgate at 09.48 hrs to train leaving Churchgate at 15.02 hrs including 10.03 hrs Dahanu Local in down direction and train leaving from Virar at 09.56 hrs to train leaving Virar at 14.56 hrs including 12.42 hrs Dahanu Local will halt at all stations between Borivali – Andheri – Borivali.
During the block period, Borivali trains will be dealt on PF Nos.7/8/2 and Virar trains on PF Nos.1/3 at Borivali. Mail/Express trains will be dealt on PF No.6/6A & 3 at Borivali.
