Introduction of AC suburban services between CSMT and Goregaon o­n Harbour line

Central Railway will introduce AC suburban services between CSMT and Goregaon/Vashi/ Panvel/ Bandra  on Harbour line (by replacing non-ac services) with effect from 3.1.2022.  These AC services will be run as non-AC (normal) suburban services o­n Sundays.  The details of 16 services that will run as AC services are as under:

16 AC suburban services presently running o­n Transharbour line will be replaced with normal (non-AC) services with effect from 3.1.2022 due to poor patronization (Passenger occupancy of AC local o­n Transharbour line for the month of November 2021 was 1197 with daily average of 40 passengers and for the month of December 2021 (upto 20.12.2021) was 1052 with daily average of 53 passengers.)

WESTERN RLY'S JUMBO BLOCK BETWEEN BORIVALI AND GOREGAON STATIONS ON SUNDAY,13TH SEPT, 2020                                                         

To carry outmaintenance work of tracks, signaling & overhead equipment, a major block of five hours will be taken o­n UP & DOWN Slow lines between Borivali and Goregaon from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs o­n Sunday, 13th September, 2020.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur - Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Rly, during the block period, all DOWN Slow line special suburban services will run o­n Fast line between Goregaon & Borivali stations. Similarly, all UP Slow line special suburban services will run o­n Fast lines between Borivali and Andheri stations. Hence, these services willnot halt at Ram Mandir station. Also, no trains will be dealt from Platform No. 1, 2, 3 & 4 at Borivali station. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.
