WR’s JUMBO BLOCK BETWEEN VASAI ROAD AND BHAYANDER STATIONS o­n 13/14 SEPT’ 2021

To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block will be taken o­n UP and DOWN Fast lines between Vasai Road and Bhayander stations. The block will be from 23.45 hrs to 03.45 hrs o­n UP Fast line and from 0:45 hrs to 04.45 hrs o­n DOWN Fast line o­n the intervening night of Monday, 13th Sept. 2021 & Tuesday, 14th Sept. 2021. There will be no block over Western Railway Suburban Section o­n Sunday, 12th Sept. 2021.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the block period, some of Up and Down local trains will be cancelled whose details will be available at the Station Master’s office in the Suburban section.

NO DAY BLOCK o­n WR o­n SUNDAY

WR’s NIGHT BLOCK BETWEEN BORIVALI & GOREGAON STATIONS

To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block of four hours will be taken o­n 5th line from 23.00 hrs to 03.00 hrs and three hours block will be taken o­n Up fast line from 00.00 hrs to 03.00 hrs between Borivali and Goregaon stations in the intermediary night of Saturday/Sunday i.e. 3rd/4th July, 2021.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, some Up fast line locals will run o­n Up slow line between Borivali and Andheri stations during the block. There will be no jumbo block in day time o­n this Sunday i.e. 4th July, 2021. Passengers are requested to please take note of the above arrangements.

To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block of Four hours will be taken o­n UP & DOWN slow lines between Vasai Road and Virar from 00.30 hrs to 04.30 hrs in the night o­n Sunday i.e 4th April, 2021. Hence , there will be no block o­n WR suburban section o­n Sunday, 4th April, 2021.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the block some of the slowline trains will be worked o­n fast lines between Vasai and Virar .Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling & overhead equipment, 6 hrs jumbo block will be taken o­n Up & Dn Harbour lines between Mahim & Bandra stations from 10.00 hrs to 16.00 hrs and 5 hrs jumbo block will be taken on Up & Dn Harbour lines between Bandra & Andheri stations from 10.00 to 15.00 hrs on Sunday, 21st March, 2021.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur - Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during the block period, all Goregaon trains and Harbour services towards Central Railway as well as some of the Churchgate-Goregaon slow services will remain cancelled. During the block period, all slow line trains will be operated o­n fast lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central (Local). Due to this, some Up and Dn suburban trains will remain cancelled. A jumbo block of five hours will be taken from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs o­n Sunday, 17th November, 2019 o­n Dn slow line between Marine Lines and Mahim stations for maintenance of track, signaling and overhead equipment. During the block all Dn slow line trains will run o­n Dn fast line between Marine Lines and Mahim Jn. and will not halt at Mahalaxmi, Prabhadevi and Matunga Road, for want of platform. During the block, passengers can travel in opposite direction to their destinations between BANDRA and MUMBAI CENTRAL stations.
All slow services will avail Double halt at Lower Parel and Mahim Jn during block period. Few UP and DN suburban services will remain cancelled during the block, the list of which will be available at all stations in the suburban section. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling & overhead equipment, a jumbo block will be taken o­n Up & Dn slow lines between Santacruz and Goregaon from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs o­n Sunday, 13thOctober , 2019.
During the block period, suburban services will run o­n fast lines between Santacruz and Goregaon. All slow suburban services will avail double halt at Vile Parle PF No. 5/6 o­n fast corridor and will not halt at Ram Mandir station in either direction due to non-availability of platform o­n the fast corridor .
Few suburban services will remain cancelled during the block period. Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.

A jumbo block of five hours will be taken from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs o­n Sunday, 4th August, 2019 o­n Up & Dn slow lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations for maintenance of track, signaling and overhead equipment. During the block Up & Dn slow line trains will run o­n Up & Dn fast lines between Santacruz & Goregaon stations.
Hence, all slow services will have double halts at Vile Parle station P/F. 5/6 o­n the fast corridor. There will be no halt at Ram Mandir station in either direction due to non-availability of Platform o­n the fast lines.
Some suburban services will remain cancelled during the block, the list of which will be available at all stations in the suburban section.

To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling & overhead equipment, a day block will be taken from 11.00hrs to 15.00 hrs o­n Sunday, 21st July, 2019 o­n Up and Down slow lines between Borivali and Bhayandar stations.
During the block all Up slow trains will run o­n Up fast line from Virar/Vasai Road to Borivali/Goregaon and all Virar bound Dn slow trains will be run o­n Dn fast line from Goregaon to Vasai Road/Virar. During the block, there will not be any service originating/terminating from/upto BHAYANDAR.

NIGHT BLOCK BETWEEN VASAI ROAD & BHAYANDAR STATIONS AND MAJOR NIGHT BLOCK AT BANDRA ON SATURDAY/SUNDAY, 4th/5th MAY, 2019
A major night block of six hours will be undertaken at Bandra, in the night hours from 23.00 hrs to 05.00 hrs during intermittent night o­n 4th/5th May, 2019 o­n Up fast line, Up & Dn Harbour line for dismantling of girder at Bandra station. During the block, all Up fast trains will be run o­n Up slow line between Santacruz & Mahim stations. Also there will be no harbor line trains between Andheri & CSMT stations during the block period.
Similarly, a jumbo block of three & half hours will also be taken from 00.30/04.00 hrs during midnight o­n 4th& 5th May, 2019 o­n Up & Dn fast line between Vasai Road & Bhayandar stations for maintenance of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment.
Due to block some Up & Dn local trains will remain cancelled, the detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.
THEREFORE, THERE WILL BE NOT BE ANY JUMBO BLOCK IN DAY TIME o­n SUNDAY, 5th MAY, 2019.

During the block, Up & Dn Mail/Express trains will be delayed by 15 minutes.
