BANDRA TERMINUS – GORAKHPUR TRAIN AFFECTED DUE TO BLOCK OVER NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY

In view of the o­ngoing work for commissioning of patch doubling work at Mau – Pipri Dih – Dullahapur stations & Mau - Khurahat stations in North Eastern Railway, a block will be undertaken from 06th to 18th December, 2025. Due to this, Train No. 19091/19092 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Express will be affected.

According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Shri Vineet Abhishek, the details of the train affected are as under:

Train No. 19091 Bandra Terminus - Gorakhpur Express, journey commencing o­n 15th December, 2025 will short terminate at Varanasi station instead of Gorakhpur. Hence, this train will be partially cancelled between Varanasi and Gorakhpur stations.Similarly, 

Train No. 19092 Gorakhpur – Bandra Terminus Express, journey commencing o­n 16th December, 2025 will depart from Varanasi station instead of Gorakhpur station. Hence, this train will be partially cancelled between Gorakhpur and Varanasi stations.

A FEW WR TRAINS AFFECTED DUE TO BLOCK ON CHURU – SADULPUR SECTION

A Block will be undertaken in January, 2026 for infrastructure work between Churu - Aslu – Dudhwa Khara stations o­n Churu - Sadulpur section of North Western Railway.

According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Shri Vineet Abhishek, the details of the trains which will be affected due to the block are as under:

Diversion of Trains:

1.Train No. 14702 Bandra Terminus - Shri Ganganagar Express, journey commencing from 20th to 22nd January, 2026, will be diverted via Sadulpur - Loharu - Sikar stations and will have additional halt at Nawalgarh – Jhunjhunu - Loharu stations.

2.Train No. 14701 Shri Ganganagar - Bandra Terminus Express, journey commencing from 20th to 23rd January, 2026, will be diverted via Sikar - Loharu - Sadulpur stations and will have additional halt at Loharu – Jhunjhunu - Nawalgarh stations.

3.Train No. 04712 Bandra Terminus – Bikaner Special, journey commencing o­n 22nd January, 2026, will be diverted via Jaipur – Bikaner stations and will have additional halt at Phulera – Makrana – Degana – Nagaur - Nokha stations.

4.Train No. 04711 Bikaner – Bandra Terminus Special, journey commencing o­n 21st January, 2026, will be diverted via Bikaner – Jaipur stations and will have additional halt at Nokha - Nagaur - Degana - Makrana - Phulera stations.

5.Train No. 19271 Bhavnagar Terminus - Haridwar Express, journey commencing o­n 22nd January, 2026, will be diverted via Merta Road - Bikaner – Bathinda - Dhuri stations and will have additional halt at Nagaur – Nokha – Bikaner – Suratgarh – Hanumangarh – Bathinda stations.

6.Train No. 19272 Haridwar – Bhavnagar Terminus Express, journey commencing o­n 21st & 24th January, 2026, will be diverted via Dhuri - Bathinda – Bikaner – Merta Road stations and will have additional halt at Bathinda – Hanumangarh – Suratgarh – Bikaner – Nokha – Nagaur stations.

Rescheduling/Regulation of Trains:

1.Train No. 19027 Bandra Terminus – Jammu Tavi Express, journey commencing from 03rd to 17th January, 2026, (3 Trips) will be regulated enroute at Churu by 30 minutes.

2.Train No. 22915 Bandra Terminus – Hisar Express, journey commencing from 05th to 19th January, 2026, (3 Trips) will be regulated enroute at Churu by 30 minutes.

BANDRA TERMINUS – GORAKHPUR EXPRESS TO RUN WITH LHB RAKES & REVISED COMPOSITION w.e.f. 3rd NOVEMBER, 2021

BANDRA TERMINUS – GORAKHPUR EXPRESS TO RUN WITH LHB RAKES & REVISED COMPOSITION w.e.f. 3rd NOVEMBER, 2021

To make travelling experience more comfortable, Western Railway has decided to replace the conventional rakes of Train No. 15067/15068 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Express with LHB rakes.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur - Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Rly, Train No. 15068 /15067 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Express, which is currently running as Train No. 05068 /05069 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Special train, will now run with LHB rakes instead of conventional rakes with effect from 5thNovember, 2021 Ex Bandra Terminus and with effect from 3rdNovember, 2021 Ex Gorakhpur. The train will comprise of revised composition of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper and Second Class coaches due to change of conventional rakes. This change will also be applicable for Train No.15067 /15068 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Express o­n resumption of regular train services.

The booking of Train No. 05068 as per the revised composition will open from 23rd August, 2021 for the trips from 5thNovember, 2021 and beyond as per advance reservation period of 120 days at nominated PRS counters and IRCTC website. Presently, the above trains will run as fully reserved trains.

FREQUENCY OF BANDRA TERMINUS – AHMEDABAD SUPERFAST SPECIAL TRAIN INCREASED TO RUN DAILY

For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, Western Railway has decided to restore 10 pairs of Special Trains till further advice. The frequency of Bandra Terminus-Ahmedabad Superfast Special train has also been increased from Tri-weekly to Daily.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, details of these trains are as under:

1.Train No. 09073/09074 Bandra Terminus – Gandhidham Superfast Special Train (Weekly)

Train No. 09073 Bandra Terminus – Gandhidham Special will depart from Bandra Terminus at 14.40 hrs every Friday and reach Gandhidham at 05.40 hrs the next day, w.e.f. 20th August 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 09074 Gandhidham – Bandra Terminus Special will depart from Gandhidham at 20.45 hrs every Thursday and reach Bandra Terminus at 11.55 hrs the next day, w.e.f. 19th August, 2021 till further advice. Enroute this train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Surendranagar, Wankaner, Morbi, Samakhiali and Bhachau stations in both directions. The train comprises AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class Seating Coaches.

2.Train No. 09035/09036 Mumbai Central – Porbandar Saurashtra Special Train (Daily)

Train No. 09035 Mumbai Central – Porbandar Special Train will depart from Mumbai Central at 09.20 hrs daily and reach Porbandar at 05.30 hrs the next day, w.e.f. 18thAugust 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 09036 Porbander- Mumbai Central Special will depart from Porbandar at 21.20 hrs daily and reach Mumbai Central at 19.30 hrs the next day, w.e.f. 19th August, 2021 till further advice. Train No. 09229 Mumbai Central – Hisar Special will depart from Mumbai Central at 23.00 hrs every Tuesday and Sunday & reach Hisar at 20.35 hrs the next day, w.e.f. 17thAugust 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 09230 Hisar - Mumbai Central Special will depart from Hisar at 10.00 hrs every Tuesday and Thursday & reach Mumbai Central at 08.20 hrs o­n the next day, w.e.f. 19th August, 2021 till further advice. Enroute this train will halt at Vadodara, Ratlam, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Loharu and Sadulpur stations in both directions. The train comprises AC First Class, AC-2 Tier and AC-3 Tier Coaches.

4.Train No. 09519/09520 Bhavnagar Terminus – Okha Special Train (Daily)

Train No. 09519 Bhavnagar Terminus – Okha Special will depart from Bhavnagar at 22.10 hrs daily and reach Okha at 12.55 hrs the next day, w.e.f. 18th August 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 09520 Okha – Bhavnagar Terminus Special will depart from Okha at 15.15 hrs daily and reach Bhavnagar Terminus at 05.30 hrs the next day, w.e.f. 19th August, 2021 till further advice. Enroute this train will halt Bhavanagar Para, Sihor Gujarat, Songadh, Dhola Jn, Botad, Ranpur, Limbdi, Wadhwan City, Joravarnagar, Surendranagar Gate , Surendranagar, Than, Daladi, Wankaner, Sindhawadar, Rajkot, Padadhari, Hadmatiya Jn, Jaliya Devani, Jam Wanthali, Aliyawada, Hapa, Jamnagar, Lakhabawal, Pipli, Kanalus, Modpur, Khambhaliya, Bhatel, Bhopalka, Bhatiya, Dwarka, Bhimrana and Mithapur stations in both directions. 5.Train No. 09055/09056 Valsad – Jodhpur Special Train

The trips of Train No. 09055 Valsad – Jodhpur Special will be restored from 17thAugust, 2021 to run every Tuesday and of Train No. 09056 Jodhpur – Valsad Special will be restored from 18th August, 2021 to run every Wednesday.

6.Train No. 09213/09214 Indore – Nagpur Superfast Special Train

The trips of Train No. 09213 Indore – Nagpur Special will be restored from 22ndAugust, 2021 to run every Sunday and of Train No. 09214 Nagpur – Indore Special will be restored from 23rdAugust, 2021 to run every Monday.

7.Train No. 09223/09224 Dr. Ambedkar Nagar – Nagpur Superfast Special Train

The trips of Train No. 09223 Dr. Ambedkar Nagar – Nagpur Special will be restored from 17thAugust, 2021 to run every Tuesday and of Train No. 09224 Nagpur – Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Special will be restored from 18th August, 2021 to run every Wednesday.

8.Train No. 09333/09334 Indore – Bikaner Mahamana Special Train

The trips of Train No. 09333 Indore – Bikaner Special will be restored from 21stAugust, 2021 to run every Saturday and of Train No. 09334 Bikaner – Indore Special will be restored from 22nd August, 2021 to run every Sunday.

9.Train No. 09323/09324 Dr. Ambedkar Nagar – Bhopal Special Train

The trips of Train No. 09323 Dr. Ambedkar Nagar – Bhopal Special will be restored from 18th August, 2021 to run daily and of Train No. 09324 Bhopal – Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Special will be restored from 19thAugust, 2021 to run daily.

10.Train No. 09339/09340 Dahod – Bhopal Special Train

The trips of Train No. 09339 Dahod – Bhopal Special will be restored from 19th August, 2021 to run daily and of Train No. 09340 Bhopal- Dahod Special will be restored from 18th August, 2021 to run daily.

Increase in Frequency

Train No. 09029/09030 Bandra Terminus – Ahmedabad Superfast Special Train

The frequency of Train No. 09029/30 Bandra Terminus – Ahmedabad Special will be increased to run from Tri-Weekly basis to Daily basis w.e.f. 16thAugust, 2021.

The booking of Train Nos. 09035, 09036, 09229, 09519 & 09520 will open o­n

15th August, 2021 and of Train Nos. 09073 & 09074 will open o­n 16th August, 2021 at nominated PRS counters and IRCTC website. Above trains will run as fully reserved trains.

It is worth mentioning that o­nly passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board these special trains. Train No. 09271 Bandra Terminus - Patna Festival Special train will depart from Bandra Terminus at 19.25 hrs every Monday and will reach Patna at 01.40 hrs o­n Wednesday. This train will run from 4th to 25th January, 2021. Similarly, Train No. 09272 Patna - Bandra Terminus Festival Special train will depart from Patna at 23.20 hrs every Wednesday and will arrive Bandra Terminus at 04.45 hrs o­n Friday. WESTERN RAILWAY TO RUN 156 TRIPS OF 12 MORE FESTIVAL SPECIAL TRAINS TO VARIOUS DESTINATIONS DURING DUSSEHRA & DIWALI

To clear the rush during forthcoming Dussehra & Diwali festivals, and to ensure better convenience to the passengers, Western Railway has planned 156 services of 12 more pairs of festival special trains.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur - Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the 12 pairs of festival special trains will be running to various destinations for the benefit of passengers. Out of these 12 pairs of special trains, five pairs of trains will run from Bandra Terminus, Two pairs from Indore, Two pairs from Udhna and o­ne pair each from Okha, Porbandar and Gandhidham stations. All the trains will run as Special train o­n Special fare. Details ofthe trains are as under :-

1) Train No 09271/09272 Bandra Terminus – Patna Superfast Festival Special (Weekly) {12 trips}

Enroute this train will halt at Bhachau, Samakhiali, Dhrangadhra, Ahmedabad, Nadiad, Dahod, Ratlam, Bhawani Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Hindaun City, Bayana, Bharatpur, Achnera, Mathura Jn, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda Jn, Basti, Gorakhpur, Narkatiaganj, Bettiah, Sagauli, Bapudam Motihari, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Barauni Jn, Begusarai, Monghyr and Sultanganj stations in both directions. This train comprises ofAC 2Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seating coaches.

The booking of Train No. 09017 will open from 17th October, 2020. Booking for Train No 09313 and 09205 will open from 18th October, 2020. Booking for Train No 02929, 09027, 09321, 09057 and 09451 will open from 20th October, 2020. Booking for Train No 09271, 02913, 02905 and 09019 will open from 22ndOctober, 2020 at nominated PRS counters and o­n IRCTC website. All the above trains will run as fully reserved trains.

With regard to special trains notified earlier, it has now been decided to provide additional halts to the following trains for the benefit of passengers:-

·Train No 001125/01126 Ratlam- Gwalior special Express at Barnagar station from Ratlam JCO o­n 18.10.2020 and from Gwalior JCO o­n 19.10.2020.

·Train No 02125/02126 Ratlam- Bhind special Express at Barnagar station from Ratlam JCO o­n 20.10.2020 and from Bhind JCO o­n 18.10.2020.

·Train No 01463/01464 Somnath – Jabalpur special Express at Khachrod station from Somnath JCO o­n 18.10.2020 and from Jabalpur JCO o­n 18.10.2020.

·Train No. 01465/01466 Somnath – Jabalpur special Express trains at Khachrod station from Somnath JCO o­n 19.10.2020 and from Jabalpur JCO o­n 19.10.2020.

·Train No. 09165/09166 Ahmedabad – Darbhanga special Express at Tarana Road station from Ahmedabad JCO o­n 18.10.2020 and from Darbhanga JCO o­n 19.10.2020.

·Train No 09167/09168 Ahmedabad – Varanasi special Express at Tarana Road station from Ahmedabad JCO o­n 19.10.2020 and from Varanasi JCO o­n 18.10.2020.
