BANDRA TERMINUS – GORAKHPUR TRAIN AFFECTED DUE TO BLOCK OVER NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY

In view of the o­ngoing work for commissioning of patch doubling work at Mau – Pipri Dih – Dullahapur stations & Mau - Khurahat stations in North Eastern Railway, a block will be undertaken from 06th to 18th December, 2025. Due to this, Train No. 19091/19092 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Express will be affected.

According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Shri Vineet Abhishek, the details of the train affected are as under:

Train No. 19091 Bandra Terminus - Gorakhpur Express, journey commencing o­n 15th December, 2025 will short terminate at Varanasi station instead of Gorakhpur. Hence, this train will be partially cancelled between Varanasi and Gorakhpur stations.Similarly, 

Train No. 19092 Gorakhpur – Bandra Terminus Express, journey commencing o­n 16th December, 2025 will depart from Varanasi station instead of Gorakhpur station. Hence, this train will be partially cancelled between Gorakhpur and Varanasi stations.

A FEW WR TRAINS AFFECTED DUE TO BLOCK ON CHURU – SADULPUR SECTION

A Block will be undertaken in January, 2026 for infrastructure work between Churu - Aslu – Dudhwa Khara stations o­n Churu - Sadulpur section of North Western Railway.

According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Shri Vineet Abhishek, the details of the trains which will be affected due to the block are as under:

Diversion of Trains:

1.Train No. 14702 Bandra Terminus - Shri Ganganagar Express, journey commencing from 20th to 22nd January, 2026, will be diverted via Sadulpur - Loharu - Sikar stations and will have additional halt at Nawalgarh – Jhunjhunu - Loharu stations.

2.Train No. 14701 Shri Ganganagar - Bandra Terminus Express, journey commencing from 20th to 23rd January, 2026, will be diverted via Sikar - Loharu - Sadulpur stations and will have additional halt at Loharu – Jhunjhunu - Nawalgarh stations.

3.Train No. 04712 Bandra Terminus – Bikaner Special, journey commencing o­n 22nd January, 2026, will be diverted via Jaipur – Bikaner stations and will have additional halt at Phulera – Makrana – Degana – Nagaur - Nokha stations.

4.Train No. 04711 Bikaner – Bandra Terminus Special, journey commencing o­n 21st January, 2026, will be diverted via Bikaner – Jaipur stations and will have additional halt at Nokha - Nagaur - Degana - Makrana - Phulera stations.

5.Train No. 19271 Bhavnagar Terminus - Haridwar Express, journey commencing o­n 22nd January, 2026, will be diverted via Merta Road - Bikaner – Bathinda - Dhuri stations and will have additional halt at Nagaur – Nokha – Bikaner – Suratgarh – Hanumangarh – Bathinda stations.

6.Train No. 19272 Haridwar – Bhavnagar Terminus Express, journey commencing o­n 21st & 24th January, 2026, will be diverted via Dhuri - Bathinda – Bikaner – Merta Road stations and will have additional halt at Bathinda – Hanumangarh – Suratgarh – Bikaner – Nokha – Nagaur stations.

Rescheduling/Regulation of Trains:

1.Train No. 19027 Bandra Terminus – Jammu Tavi Express, journey commencing from 03rd to 17th January, 2026, (3 Trips) will be regulated enroute at Churu by 30 minutes.

2.Train No. 22915 Bandra Terminus – Hisar Express, journey commencing from 05th to 19th January, 2026, (3 Trips) will be regulated enroute at Churu by 30 minutes.

 These special trains stops at Khalilabad, Basti, Gonda, Aishbagh, Kanpur Central, Orai, Virangana Lakshmibai Jn, Bhopal, Itarsi, Nagpur, Balharshah, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Bellampalli, Ramagundam, Kazipet, Malkajgiri, Kacheguda, Shadnagar and Jadcherla stations in both the directions.

Central Railway will run 82 Festival Special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers due to Puja/ Deepavali / Chhat Festival as per details given below:

*1. Dadar-Ballia Triweekly Special (26 services)*

01025 special will leave Dadar Terminus at 14.15 hrs o­n every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3.10.2022 to 31.10.2022 and will arrive Ballia at 01.45 hrs o­n third day.

01026 special will leave Ballia at 15.15 hrs o­n every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from 5.10.2022 to 2.11.2022 and will arrive Dadar Terminus at 03.35 hrs o­n third day.

*Halts*: Kalyan, Nashik Road, Harda, Itarsi, Rani Kamlapati Station, Bina, Lalitpur, Tikamgarh, Khargapur, Maharaj Chhatrasal Station Chhatarpur, Khajuraho, Mahoba, Banda, Chitrakutdham Karwi, Manikpur, Prayagraj Jn., Gyanpur Road, Varanasi, Aunrihar, Mau and Rasra

01028 special will leave Gorakhpur every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 14.25 hrs from 3.10.2022 to 1.11.2022 and will arrive Dadar at 03.35 hrs o­n third day.

01034 Special will leave Nagpur at 13.30 hrs o­n 23.10.2022 and 30.10.2022 and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 04.10 hrs next day.

*Halts*: Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Manmad, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Murtizapur, Badnera, Dhamangaon and Wardha

*Composition*: Two AC-2 Tier, 8 AC-3 Tier, 4 Sleeper Class, 5 General Second Class including guard's brake van and o­ne generator van.

*4. Mumbai-Malda Town Weekly Special (4 services)*

01031 Superfast Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 11.05 hrs o­n 17.10.2022 and 24.10.2022 and arrive Malda Town at 00.45 hrs o­n third day.

01032 Special will leave Malda Town at 12.20 hrs o­n 19.10.2022 and 26.10.2022 and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 03.50 hrs o­n third day.

02106 special will leave Gorakhpur at 03.00 hrs o­n 21.10.2022 and 28.10.2022 and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 13.15 hrs next day.

01043 Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus every Sunday and Thursday at 12.15 hrs from 20.10.2022 to 30.10.2022 and will arrive Samastipur at 21.15 hrs next day.

01044 special will leave Samastipur every Monday and Friday at 23.30 hrs from 21.10.2022 to 31.10.2022 and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 07.40 hrs o­n third day

BANDRA TERMINUS – GORAKHPUR EXPRESS TO RUN WITH LHB RAKES & REVISED COMPOSITION w.e.f. 3rd NOVEMBER, 2021

BANDRA TERMINUS – GORAKHPUR EXPRESS TO RUN WITH LHB RAKES & REVISED COMPOSITION w.e.f. 3rd NOVEMBER, 2021

To make travelling experience more comfortable, Western Railway has decided to replace the conventional rakes of Train No. 15067/15068 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Express with LHB rakes.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur - Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Rly, Train No. 15068 /15067 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Express, which is currently running as Train No. 05068 /05069 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Special train, will now run with LHB rakes instead of conventional rakes with effect from 5thNovember, 2021 Ex Bandra Terminus and with effect from 3rdNovember, 2021 Ex Gorakhpur. The train will comprise of revised composition of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper and Second Class coaches due to change of conventional rakes. This change will also be applicable for Train No.15067 /15068 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Express o­n resumption of regular train services.

The booking of Train No. 05068 as per the revised composition will open from 23rd August, 2021 for the trips from 5thNovember, 2021 and beyond as per advance reservation period of 120 days at nominated PRS counters and IRCTC website. Presently, the above trains will run as fully reserved trains.

  • 05401 special will leave Gorakhpur at 19.00 hrs o­n 16.6.2021(Wednesday) and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai at 05.00 hrs o­n third day.
  • 05402 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai at 07.50 hrs o­n 18.6.2021(Friday) and arrive Gorakhpur at 16.15 hrs next day.
Halts: Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur Katni, Satna, Chitrakut Dham, Banda, Ragaul, Bharwa Sumerpur, Kanpur Central, Aishbagh, Gonda, Basti and Khalilabad

WR TO RUN FOUR MORE ADDITIONAL WEEKLY SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS TO VARIOUS DESTINATIONS

For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, Western Railway has decided to run four more additional weekly summer special trains between Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur, Udhna – Danapur, Ahmedabad – Kolkata and Okha – Guwahati stations.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of the above mentioned special trains are as under:

1). Train No. 09067/09068 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Weekly Special Train o­n Special Fare [4 Trips]

Train No. 09067 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Weekly Special will depart Bandra Terminus every Sunday at 19.25 hrs and arrive Gorakhpur at 06.05 hrs o­n Tuesday. This train will run o­n 18th and 25th April, 2021. Similarly, Train No. 09068 Gorakhpur – Bandra Terminus Weekly Special will depart Gorakhpur every Tuesday at 16.10 hrs and arrive Bandra Terminus at 05.10 hrs o­n Thursday. This train will run o­n 20th and 27th April, 2021. Enroute this train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Bhawani Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Bayana Jn, Agra Fort, Tundla, Etawah, Kanpur Central, Lucknow City, Barabanki Jn and Basti stations in both directions. This train comprises of Sleeper Class and Second Class Seating coaches.

2). Train No. 09011/09012 Udhna – Danapur Superfast Weekly Special Train o­n Special Fare [4 Trips]

Train No. 09011 Udhna – Danapur Superfast Weekly Special will depart Udhna every Monday at 20.35 hrs and arrive Danapur at 22.30 hrs o­n Tuesday. This train will run o­n 19thand 26th April, 2021. Similarly, Train No. 09012 Danapur – Udhna Superfast Weekly Special will depart Danapur every Wednesday at 01.00 hrs and arrive Udhna at 05.15 hrs o­n Thursday. This train will run o­n 21stand 28th April, 2021.   • 01081 Weekly special will  leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus every Wednesday at 16.40 hrs with effect from 03.3.2021 until further advice and arrive Gorakhpur at 02.00 hrs o­n third day.
  • 01082 Weekly special will leave Gorakhpur every Friday at 16.05 hrs with effect from 05.3.2021 until further advice and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 23.45 hrs next day.
  • Halts: Kalyan, Nasik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi (only for 01082), Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Aunrihar, Mau, Bhatni and Deoria Sadar

For the convenience of passengers and with a view of to meet the travel demand, Western Railway has decided to run additional special train between Bandra (T) – Gorakhpur (Weekly) Superfast Antyodaya Express

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the Bandra (T) – Gorakhpur (Weekly) Superfast Antyodaya Express special train will run w.e.f 17thJanuary, 2021 till further notice. Details of this special train are as under:

Train No 09033Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur (Weekly)Special train will leave Bandra Terminus at 05.10hrs o­n every Sundayand will reach Gorakhpur at 15.45 hrs, the next day. This train will run w.e.f. 17th January, 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 09034 Gorakhpur- Bandra Terminus(Weekly)Special train will leave Gorakhpurat 03.25 hrson every Tuesday and arrive Bandra Terminus at 14.25 hrs, the next day. This train will run w.e.f. 19th January, 2021 till further advice.

The train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Bharatpur, Achhnera, Mathura Jn, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda, Balrampur, Siddharth Nagar andAnand Nagar stations in both directions. This train willSecond class seating coaches.

1) Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Gorakhpur weekly festival specials (6 Trips)

01079 festival special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus o­n every Thursday from 12.11.2020 to 26.11.2020 (3 Trips)and arrive Gorakhpur o­nthird day.

01080 festival special will leave Gorakhpur o­n every Saturday from 14.11.2020 to 28.11.2020 (3 Trips) and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus next day.

Halts: Stoppages will be same as the regular train No. 11079/11080 except Harda and Bhopal.

Keeping in view the huge rush of passengers during the festive season, South Eastern Railway has decided to run Fully Reserved Weekly Special Trains between Shalimar-Gorakhpur-Shalimar.

  • 05021 Shalimar-Gorakhpur Weekly Special will leave from Shalimar at 20.20 hrs every Tuesday between 27/10/2020 and 01/12/2020 and will reach Gorakhpur at 16.25 hrs, the next day. In the return direction 
  • 05022 Gorakhpur-Shalimar Weekly Special will leave Gorakhpur at 13.40 hrs, every Monday between 26/10/2020 and 30/11/2020 and will arrive Shalimar at 10.05 hrs, the next day.

The special train will have o­ne First AC, o­ne AC 2 Tier, three AC 3 Tier, eight Sleeper Class and Seven General Second Class Coaches and will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Purulia, Bhojudih and Mohuda in SER jurisdiction.

Railways have decided to run special train between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus/Panvel and Gorakhpur from 28.9.2020 till further advice. These specials will be fully reserved trains.  The details are as under:

 1) LTT-Gorakhpur Weekly Specials

05063 Special train will leave Gorakhpur at 05.30 hrs o­n every Monday from 28.9.2020 till further advise and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 16.00 hrs next day.

05064 special train will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 17.50 hrs till further advise o­n every Tuesday from 29.9.2020 and arrive Gorakhpur at 04.30 hrs o­n third day.

Halts: Stoppages will be same as the regular train No. 15063/15064

Composition:  One AC-2 Tier, Three AC-3 Tier, 9 Sleeper Class, 10 second class seating reserved coaches. 

2) Panvel-Gorakhpur Special train (4 days a week)

05065 Special train will leave Gorakhpur at 05.30 hrs o­n every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday from 29.9.2020 till further advise and arrive Panvel at 16.20 hrs next day.

05066 special will leave LTT at 17.50 hrs o­n every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 30.09.2020 till further advise and arrive Gorakhpur at 04.30 hrs o­n third day.
