SHORT TERMINATION OF TRAIN SERVICE

To facilitate Engineering works in various sections of Palakkad Division, fixed time corridor Blocks have been permitted consequently, Train No. 16307 Alappuzha – Kannur Daily Express scheduled to leave Alappuzha at 14.50 hrs o­n 10th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 21st, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 28th, 30thand 31st December, 2021 will be short terminated at Shoranur  and will be run o­nly between Alappuzha and Shoranur o­n the days mentioned.

Special Traffic and Power Block between Thane and Mulund

Central Railway will operate a special traffic and power block o­n all 6 lines between Thane and Mulune stations for launching of girders of Kopri Road Over Bridge by Road crane o­n 23/24.1.2021 (Saturday/Sunday night) and 24/25.1.2021 (Sunday/Monday night).The block will be operated from 01.00 hrs to 04.30 hrs o­n both nights.

Due to this the train running pattern o­n both days will be as under:

  • 07317 Hubballi-LTT Special JCO 23.1.2021 and 24.1.2021

  • 01004 Sawantwadi Road-Dadar special JCO 23.1.2021 and 24.1.2021 will arrive Dadar at 07.10 hrs instead of 06.40 hrs.

Suburban Services:

  • Suburban services between Kurla and Thane will remain cancelled from 00.30 hrs to 05.30 hrs o­n 24.1.2021 and 25.1.2021

SEVERAL MORE SPECIAL TRAINS OF WESTERN RAILWAY AFFECTED DUE TO GURJAR AGITATION & KISAN AGITATION

Due to Gurjar agitation in Rajasthan, train movement has been affected between Hindaun City - Bayana section in Rajasthan. In Kota Division of West Central Railway, tracks have been blocked between Dumariya – Fateh Singhpura section. Also, some trains have been affected due to the Kisan agitation in Punjab. In view of the above, few more trains have been diverted & certain trains have been short terminated and accordingly short originated.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur - Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of these affected trains are as under:

DIVERSION/ SHORT – TERMINATION/ SHORT - ORIGINATION OF UP TRAINS:

1)Train No. 02904 Amritsar - Mumbai Central Special train, journey commencing o­n 09.11.2020 will short originate from Ambala Cant. Jn. and will remain partially cancelled between Amritsar & Ambala Cantt. Jn. This train will be diverted via Mathura Jn. – Jhansi - Bina – Sant Hirdaram Nagar – Nagda.

2)Train No. 02926 Amritsar - Bandra Terminus Special train, journey commencing o­n 10.11.2020 will short originate from Ambala Cant. Jn. and will remain partially cancelled between Amritsar & Ambala Cantt. Jn.

3)Train No. 09026 Amritsar - Bandra Terminus Special train, journey commencing o­n 11.11.2020 will short originate from Ambala Cant. Jn. and will remain partially cancelled between Amritsar & Ambala Cantt. Jn.

4)Train No. 02926 Amritsar - Bandra Terminus Special train, journey commencing o­n 09.11.2020 will be diverted via Mathura Jn. –Bina – Sant Hirdaram Nagar – Nagda.

5)Train No. 09452 Bhagalpur - Gandhidham Special train, journey commencing o­n 09.11.2020 will be diverted via Bharatpur – Bandikui - Jaipur - Sawai Madhopur.

11)Train No. 00902 Jammu Tawi - Bandra Terminus Parcel Special train, journey commencing o­n 11.11.2020 will be short originate from Ambala Cant. Jn. & will remain partially cancelled between Ambala Cant. Jn & Jammu Tawi.

7)Train No. 09038 Gorakhpur - Bandra Terminus Special train, journey commencing o­n 09.11.2020 will be diverted via Bharatpur - Jaipur – Sawai Madhopur.

8)Train No. 02413 Madgaon - H. Nizamuddin Special train, journey commencing o­n 09.11.2020 will be diverted via Nagda – Sant Hirdaram Nagar - Bina – Mathura Jn.

REGULATION OF SER SPECIAL TRAINS ON COMPLETE LOCKDOWN DAYS IN WEST BENGAL

Kolkata, 4th September, 2020:

In view of complete lockdown o­n 7th, 11th and 12thSeptember, 2020 in West Bengal, it has been decided that the special train services will be regulated as under:-

CANCELLATION OF TRAINS:

Ø02021 Howrah-Barbil Special leaving Howrah o­n 07.09.2020, 11.09.2020 and 12.09.2020 will remain cancelled.

Ø02022 Barbil-Howrah Special leaving Barbil o­n 07.09.2020, 11.09.2020 and 12.09.2020 will remain cancelled.

Ø02074 Bhubaneswar-Howrah Special leaving Bhubaneswar o­n 07.09.2020, 11.09.2020 and 12.09.2020 will remain cancelled.

Ø02073 Howrah-Bhubaneswar Special leaving Howrah o­n 07.09.2020, 11.09.2020 and 12.09.2020 will remain cancelled.

SHORT TERMINATION/SHORT ORIGINATION OF TRAINS:

Ø02703 Howrah-Secunderabad Special scheduled to leave Howrah o­n 07.09.2020, 11.09.2020 and 12.09.2020 will be short originated from Bhubaneswar instead of Howrah. Hence, the service between Howrah and Bhubaneswar will remain cancelled o­n these dates.

Ø02704 Secunderabad-Howrah Special leaving Secunderabad o­n 06.09.2020, 10.09.2020 and 11.09.2020 will be short terminated at Bhubaneswar instead of Howrah and the service between Bhubaneswar and Howrah will remain cancelled.

Ø02834 Howrah-Ahmedabad Special scheduled to leave Howrah o­n 11.09.2020 will be short originated from Rourkela at 06.35 hrs o­n 12.09.2020. There will be no service between Howrah and Rourkela.

For track maintenance work at Howrah Passenger Yard, 480 minutes Traffic & Power block from 00:15 hrs. to 08:15 hrs. o­n the night of 30.11/01.12.2019 (Saturday/Sunday) will be required.
Consequently, the following train running arrangement will be made:-

·38408 Panskura-Howrah local from Panskura will remain cancelled o­n 01.12.2019.
·38405 Howrah-Panskura local will remain cancelled from Howrah o­n 01.12.2019.
RESCHEDULING OF TRAINS
·12871 Ispat Express will leave Howrah at 09:10 hrs. instead of its scheduled departure at 06:55 hrs. o­n 01.12.2019.
·12703 Falakunama Express will leave Howrah at 09:20 hrs. instead of its scheduled departure at 07:25 hrs. o­n 01.12.2019.

·12857 Tamralipta Express will originate from Santragachi instead of Howrah o­n 01.12.2019.

TRAIN NO. 19019/20 BANDRA (T) – DEHRADUN EXPRESS WILL NOW SHORT TERMINATE AT MEERUT CITY STATION INSTEAD OF BHARATPUR STATION
In view of the yard remodelling work of Dehradun Yard o­n Haridwar-Dehradun section of Moradabad Division of Northern Railway, a 90 days Mega Block is being taken by Northern Railway. Due to which, Train No. 19019/20 Bandra Terminus – Dehradun Express train was earlier short terminated at Bharatpur station. This train will now run its service till Meerut City station instead of Bharatpur station with effect from Ex Bandra Terminus from 17th November, 2019 and Ex Meerut City from 18th November, 2019.

Infrastructure Work o­n Southeast Ghat – Train Running Pattern
Central Railway will undertake infrastructure work o­n southeast ghat between Monkey Hill and Karjat o­n Up line for 10 days.  Due to this, the train running pattern will be as under:

CANCELLATION /SHORT TERMINATION /DIVERSION OF TRAINS DUE TO INFRASTRUCTURE WORK BETWEEN KALABURAGI AND SAWALGI
Solapur Division of Central Railway has undertaken infrastructure work in connection with Pre-Non-interlocking and Non-interlocking work for commissioning of Double Line between Kalaburagi to Sawalgi in Wadi-Solapur section.
