CR to Run 36 Weekly Winter / Christmas Special Trains

Central Railway will run 36 weekly special trains o­n special charges between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Karmali, Panvel / Pune- Karmali to clear the extra rush of passengers during Winter / Christmas 2022. The details are as under:-

(1) Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Karmali Bi-Weekly specials (16)

• 01459 Bi-Weekly special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 20.45 hrs o­n every Monday and Wednesday from 19.12.2022 to 11.1.2023 (8 services) and will arrive Karmali at 08.30 hrs next day.
• 01460 Bi-Weekly special will leave Karmali at 09.20 hrs o­n every Tuesday and Thursday from 20.12.2022 to 12.1.2023 (8 services) and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 21.30 hrs same day.
• Halts: Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim.
• Composition: o­ne First AC, Three AC-2 Tier, 15 AC-3 Tier and Two Generator vans.

(2) Panvel - Karmali Weekly Specials (10)

• Train No.01447 Weekly special will leave Panvel at 22.00 hrs o­n every Saturday from 17.12.2022 to 14.1.2023 (5 services) and will arrive Karmali at 08.30 hrs next day.
• Train No.01448 Weekly special will leave Karmali at 09.20 hrs o­n every Saturday from 17.12.2022 to 14.1.2023 (5 services) and will arrive Panvel at 20.15 hrs same day.
• Halts: Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road,  Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road and Thivim.
• Composition: o­ne AC-2 Tier, 4 AC-3 Tier, 11 sleeper class and 6 General second class including 2 Guard’s Brake Van.

(3) Pune – Karmali Weekly Specials (10)

• Train No. 01445 Weekly special will leave Pune at 17.30 hrs o­n every Friday from 16.12.2022 to 13.1.2023 (5 services) and will arrive Karmali.at 8.30 hrs o­n next day.
• Train No. 01446 Weekly special will leave Karmali. at 09.20 hrs o­n every Sunday from 18.12.2022 to 15.1.2020 (5 services) and will arrive Pune at 23.35 hrs same day
• Halts: Lonavala, Kalyan Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road and Thivim 
• Composition: o­ne AC-2 Tier, 4 AC-3 Tier, 11 sleeper class and  6 General second class including 2 Guard’s Brake vans.

Reservation: Bookings for Special Train no. 01445 o­n special charges is already open and for special Trains no 01446, 01447/01448 and 01459/01460 o­n special charges will open from 16.12.2022 at all computerized reservation centres and o­n website www.irctc.coc.in.

Central Railway to run 18 Weekly Summer Special Trains between Pune and Danapur

Central Railway has decided to run 18 Superfast/Express weekly summer special trains o­n special charges between Pune and Danapur to clear the extra rush of passengers during summer season. The details are as under:

01039 Superfast weekly special will leave Pune at 21.30 hrs o­n every Wednesday from 13.04.2022 to 08.06.2022 (9 trips) and will arrive Danapur at 04.30 hrs o­n third day.

01040 Weekly special will leave Danapur at 06.30 hrs o­n every Friday from 15.04.2022 to 10.06.2022 (9 trips) and will arrive Pune at 18.45 hrs next day.

Halts: Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Mirzapur, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn., Buxar and Ara

Composition: One AC 2-Tier, Four AC 3-Tier, 10 Sleeper class and 6 General Second Class including Guard's Brake Van.

Central Railway has decided to run o­ne-way special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details as under:

1. LTT-Gorakhpur superfast o­ne-way special

01003 superfast o­ne way special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.55 hrs o­n 6.3.2022 and arrive Gorakhpur at 17.00 hrs next day.

Halts:  Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Gonda and Basti.

Composition: Three AC 3-Tier, 11 Sleeper Class and 6 Second Class Seating Coaches

2. Pune-Mau superfast o­ne-way special

01005 superfast o­ne way special will leave Pune at 16.15 hrs o­n 6.3.2022 and arrive Mau at 22.05 hrs next day.

Halts:  Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Varanasi and Aunrihar

Composition: o­ne AC 3-Tier, 17 Sleeper Class and 4 Second Class Seating Coaches

3. Nagpur-Azamgarh superfast o­ne-way special

01007 superfast o­ne way special will leave Nagpur at 17.50 hrs o­n 7.3.2022 and arrive Azamgarh at 16.00 hrs next day.

Halts:  Amla, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Varanasi, Jaunpur and Shahganj

Composition: Two AC 3-Tier, 11 Sleeper Class and 8 Second Class Seating Coaches

Reservation: Bookings for above fully reserved o­ne way special trains o­n special charges will open o­n 4.3.2022 at all PRS locations and o­n website www.irctc.co.in.

Central Railway will run Festival train between Hadapsar and Jhansi to clear the extra rush of passengers as per details given below - 

01921 Weekly superfast special will leave Hadapsar o­n every Thursday at 15.15 hrs from 04.11.2021 to 18.11.2021 (3 services) and will arrive Jhansi at 09.35 hrs next day.

01922 Weekly special will leave Jhansi o­n every Wednesday at 12.50 hrs from 03.11.2021 to 17.11.2021 (3 services) and will arrive Hadapsar at 11.30 hrs next day 

Halts: Daund Chord line, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi, Bhopal, Vidisha, Bina, Lalitpur

Composition: o­ne AC-2 Tier, 7 AC-3 Tier, 7 Sleeper class, 5 Second seating class

Introduction of Weekly Special Train between Pune and Jasidih 

Railways will introduce a weekly special train o­n normal fare between Pune and Jasidih. Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon’ble Minister of Railways, Communication and Electronics & Information Technology will flag off the inaugural special Train No. 01428 Jasidih – Pune Express o­n 27.9.2021 at 13.15 hrs.

The details of regular service are as under:

• Train No. 01427 weekly Special will leave Pune at 06.35 hrs o­n every Friday with effect from 1.10.2021 and will arrive Jasidih at 15.45 hrs next day.
• Train No. 01428 weekly Special will leave Jasidih at 20.25 hrs o­n every Sunday with effect from 3.10.2021 and will arrive Pune at 09.40 hrs o­n third day.
• Halts: Daund , Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn., Sasaram, Gaya, kiul, Jhajha.
• Composition: o­ne 2A, Four 3A, 11 Sleeper class, 6 Second class.

Reservation: Bookings for fully reserved special train No. 01427 will open o­n 27.9.2021 o­n normal fare at all computerised reservation centers and o­n website www.irctc.co.in.

OPERATION OF SPECIAL TRAINS 

Central Railway has notified increase in frequency of Train No. 01149 / 01150 Pune – Ernakulam Jn – Pune Weekly Superfast Special trains from weekly to Bi-Weekly

and operation of Train No. 01197 / 01198 Pune – Ernakulam Jn – Pune Weekly Special trains as detailed below. 

 1.Increase in frequency of Train No. 01149 / 01150 Pune – Ernakulam – Pune Bi-Weekly Superfast Special trains 

 Note: The above special trains will have the existing Composition, Stoppages and Timings

  2.Train No. 01197 / 01198 Pune – Ernakulam – Pune Weekly Special trains

With the composition of One AC 2-tier Coach, Four AC 3-tier Coaches, Eleven Sleeper Class Coaches, Four General Second Class and Two Luggage cum Brake Vans Train No. 1197 Pune – Ernakulam Jn Weekly Special train will leave Pune o­n Saturdays at 22.10 hrs o­n and from 25.9.2021 and reach Ernakulam Jn at 03.20 hrs the third day until further advice. 

In return direction, Train No. 1198 Ernakulam - Pune Jn Weekly Special train will leave Ernakulam Jn o­n Mondays at 18.50 hrs o­n and from 27.9.2021 and reach Pune at 23.35 hrs the next day until further advice. 

The details of timings and stoppages of Train No. 01197 / 01198 Pune – Ernakulam – Pune Weekly Special trains are as follows: 

 Advance Reservation for the above Special Trains will open at 08.00 hrs o­n 19^th September, 2021 (Tomorrow) from Southern Railway End
