Running of Additional Festival Specials
Increase in Frequency of Bi-weekly Festival Special to Daily
Central Railway will run additional festival specials and increase the frequency of existing festival special train to daily to clear the extra rush of passengers during the festival season, as per details below:
1) Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Gorakhpur weekly festival specials (6 Trips)
01079 festival special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on every Thursday from 12.11.2020 to 26.11.2020 (3 Trips)and arrive Gorakhpur onthird day.
01080 festival special will leave Gorakhpur on every Saturday from 14.11.2020 to 28.11.2020 (3 Trips) and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus next day.
Halts: Stoppages will be same as the regular train No. 11079/11080 except Harda and Bhopal.
Composition:One AC-2 Tier, 4 AC-3 Tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 3 second class seating
2) Increase in Frequency of Lokmanya Tilak Terminus- Manduadih Bi-weekly festival special to Daily
02167 festival special will depart Lokmanya Tilak Terminus daily with effect from 10.11.2020 to 30.11.2020 and arrive Manduadih next day.
02168 festival special will depart Manduadih daily with effect from 11.11.2020 to 1.12.2020 and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus next day.
Halts & Composition:No Change
Reservation: Bookings for fully reserved 01079 festival special on special charges will commence from 9.11.2020 and for increased frequency of 02167 festival special on special charges will commence from 8.11.2020 at all Reservation Centres and on website: www.irctc.co.in.
Only passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board these special trains
Passengers are advised to adhere all norms, SOPs related to COVID19 during the boarding, travel and at destination.
