Diversion/ Regulation of Trains During Traffic Block for Construction of Additional Road-Over-Bridge with Superstructure in Amritsar Yard of Firozpur Division on Northern Railway
Due to Traffic block of different duration with immediate effect to 12.11.2017, for the Construction of Additional Road-Over-Bridge with Superstructure in Amritsar Yard of Firozpur  Division o­n Northern Railway, the following trains will be Diverted/ Regulated as under :
Diversion  of  Trains During Block
·The 19225/19226Bhatinda -Jammu Tawi - Bhatinda  Express, commencing its journey from Bhatinda / Jammu Tawi  with immediate effect to 11.11.2017 will be diverted to run via Pathankot-Mukerian-Jalandhar City.
·The Train No 14673Jaynagar-Amritsar Shaheed Express, commencing its Journey from Jaynagar o­n 25,26 & 29.10.2017  will be diverted to run via Beas-Taran Taran.
Regulation  of Trains
·The 15211 Darbhanga-Amritsar Jannayak  Express will be regulated enroute for 120 minutes o­n 24,25,28,30,31.10.17 & from 1.11.2017 to 10.11.2017.
·The 14603 Saharsa-Amritsar Jansadharan Express will be regulated enroute for 60 minutes o­n  03.11.2017 & 10.11.2017.

Special Express Train Between Katihar-Jalandhar City
For the convenience and to clear the extra rush of the rail passengers, Railways have decided to run a Weekly Express Special Train No. 05717/05718  between Katihar and Jalandhar Cityas per the details given below-
05717/05718  Katihar -Jalandhar City – Katihar Weekly Express  Special Train
The 05717 Katihar -Jalandhar City Weekly Express Special Train will depart from Katihar o­n every Thursday at 09.00 a.m. from 13.07.2017 to 31.08.2017 to reach Jalandhar City at 06.30 p.m. the next day (08 Trips). In the return direction, the 05718  Jalandhar City – Katihar Weekly Express Special Train will depart from Jalandhar City o­n every Saturday at 01.15 a.m.from 15.07.2017 to 02.09.2017 to reach Katihar at 11.30 a.m. o­n Sunday (08 Trips).
Comprising of 01 AC Two Tier, 02 AC Three Tier ,05 Sleeper class , 06 General Class & 02 Disabled Friendly Second class cum luggage van Coaches, the 05717/05718  Katihar -Jalandhar City – Katihar Weekly Express Special Train will stop at Naugachia, Khagaria, Begusarai, Barauni, Hajipur, Sonpur, Chhapra, Siwan, Thawe, Tamkuhi Road, Padrauna, Kaptanganj, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Sitapur Cantt., Moradabad, Saharanpur, Ambala Cantt., & Ludhiana stations enroute in both the direction.

KAMAKHYA-ANAND VIHAR AND KATIHAR-JALANDHAR SPECIAL TRAINS

Railway runs Special Trains between Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal and Katihar-Jalandhar City(Total 52 Trips) 

For the convenience of rail passengers, Railways will run Special Trains - 82503/82504 Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal-Kamakhya Weekly Suvidha Special Train & 05717/05718 Katihar-Jalandhar City-Katihar Weekly Special Train, as per the following programme :
1- 82503/82504 Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal-Kamakhya Weekly Suvidha Special Train (26 trips)
The 82503 Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Weekly Suvidha Special Train will depart from Kamakhya at 10.00 a.m. on every Wednesday from 05.04.2017 to 28.06.2017 to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 09.30 p.m. the next day (13 trips). In the return direction, the 82504 Anand Vihar Terminal-Kamakhya Weekly Suvidha Special Train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 05.15 a.m. on every Friday from 07.04.2017 to 30.06.2017 to reach Kamakhya at 07.30 p.m. the next day (13 trips).
Comprising of four AC three tier , one AC two tier , 08 Sleeper class & two disabled friendly second class cum luggage van coaches ,the 82503/82504 Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal-Kamakhya Weekly Suvidha Special Train will stop at New Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Barauni, Chhapra, Ballia, Varanasi, Lucknow & Moradabad stations enroute in both the directions.
2- 05717/05718 Katihar-Jalandhar City-Katihar Weekly Special Train (26 trips)
The 05717 Katihar-Jalandhar City Weekly Special Train will depart from Katihar at 09.00 a.m. on every Thursday from 06.04.2017 to 29.06.2017 to reach Jalandhar City at 06.30 p.m. the next day (13 trips). In the return direction, the 05718 Jalandhar City-Katihar Weekly Special Train will depart from Jalandhar City at 01.15 a.m. on every Saturday from 08.04.2017 to 01.07.2017 to reach Katihar at 11.30 a.m. the next day (13 trips).
Comprising of two AC three tier , one AC two tier ,05 Sleeper class , six general class coaches & two disabled friendly second class cum luggage van coaches ,the 05717/05718 Katihar-Jalandhar City-Katihar Weekly Special Train will stop at Naugachia, Khagaria, Begusarai, Barauni, Hajipur, Sonpur, Chhapra, Siwan, Thawe, Tamkuhi Road, Padrauna, Kaptanganj, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Sitapur Cantt., Moradabad, Saharanpur, Ambala Cantt. & Ludhiana stations enroute in both the directions.

ADDITIONAL STOPPAGES TO 01707/01708 JABALPUR-ATARI –JABALPUR SPECIAL AT JALANDHAR CITY

For the convenience of rail passengers, Railway has decided to provide additional stoppage to the Train No. 01707/01708 Jabalpur- Atari –Jabalpur Special train at Jalandhar City Station as under:
  1. The 01707 Jabalpur-Atari Special train will reach Jalandhar City station at 08.57 a.m. from 30.04.2016 while its return service
  2. The 01708 Atari –Jabalpur Special train will reach Jalandhar City station at 04.55 p.m. from 01.05.2016 with five minutes stoppage in  both the directions.

REVISION OF TIMING OF 74939 JALANDHAR CITY- FIROZPUR DEMU TRAIN FROM 01.11.2015

It is notified for the information of general public that the timing of train no. 74939 Jalandhar city- Firozepur DEMU will be revised from 01.11.15 as per the details given below:-

The 74939 Jalandhar city- Firozepur DEMU train will depart from Jalandhar city at 09.55 p.m. instead of 08.50 p.m. to reach Firozpur Cantt. At 11.55 p.m. the same day from 01.11.15.

The other features like composition,  route, stoppages etc. will remain unchanged.
