WR TO RUN o­nE MORE SUMMER SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN DR. AMBEDKAR NAGAR & KAMAKHYA

For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, Western Railway has decided to run o­ne more summer special train between Dr Ambedkar Nagar and Kamakhya.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of this special train are as under:

Train No. 09303 / 09304Dr Ambedkar Nagar – Kamakhya Special Train ( 6 trips)

Train No. 09303 Dr Ambedkar Nagar - KamakhyaSpecial will leave Dr Ambedkar Nagar every Friday at 12.45 hrs to reach Kamakhya at 10.00 hrs, o­n Sunday (Third Day) from 16th to 30th April, 2021. Similarly, Train no. 09304 Kamakhya – Dr. Ambedkar Nagar Special will leave Kamakhya o­n every Monday at 05.35 hrs to reach Dr Ambedkar Nagar at 02.00 hrs o­n Wednesday (Third Day) from 19th April, 2021 to 3rd May, 2021 . The train will halt at Indore Jn, Dewas, Ujjain Jn, Shujalpur, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bina Jn, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki Jn, Deendayal Upadhyaya Jn, Patna, Barauni, Khagaria, Katihar, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar &New Bongaigaon Jn. stations in both directions. The train comprises of AC 2-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class Seating coaches. 

The booking for Train No. 09303 will open from 15th April, 2021 at nominated PRS counters and o­n IRCTC website. Above fully reserved train will run as Special train o­n special fare.For detailed timings regarding the halts along with composition, frequency & days of operation, passengers may please visit www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in. It is worth mentioning that o­nly passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board these special trains. Passengers are requested by Western Railway, to adhere all norms, SOPs related to COVID-19 during the boarding, travel and at the destination.

SCR to Run 44 Winter Special Trains Between Various Destinations
In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, SCR will run 44 winter special trains between various destinations as detailed below:-
1. Secunderabad – Guwahati – Secunderabad Special Train (08 Services):-
Train No. 02513 Secunderabad – Guwahati Special train will depart Secunderabad at 05.40 hrs o­n 5th, 12th , 19th & 26th December, 2019 (Thursdays) and arrive Guwahati at 08:45 hrs o­n Saturdays.
In the return direction, Train No. 02514 Guwahati – Secunderabad Special train will depart Guwahati at 23.55 hrs o­n 07th, 14th, 21st & 28th December, 2019 (Saturdays) and arrive Secunderabad at 04.00 hrs o­n Tuesdays.
Enroute these special trains stop at Warangal, Khammam, Rayanapadu, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Anakapalli, Duvvada, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Berhampur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Bhadrakh, Balasore, Kharagpur, Rampurhat, Malda Town, Barsoi, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, New Coochbehar, New Bongaigaon and Kamakhya in both the directions.
These trains will consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier and Sleeper Class Coaches.
2. Secunderabad – Barauni – Secunderabad Special Train (10 Services):-
Train No. 07009 Secunderabad – Barauni special train will depart Secunderabad at 22:15 hrs o­n 01st, 08th, 15th, 22nd & 29th December, 2019 (Sundays) and arrive Barauni at 11:40 hrs o­n second day.
In the return direction, Train No. 07010 Barauni – Secunderabad special train will depart Barauni at 07:10 hrs o­n 04th, 11th, 18th, 25th December, 2019 & 01st January, 2020 (Wednesdays) and arrive Secunderabad at 22:40 hrs o­n the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Ramagundam, Mancherial, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Balharshah, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Hatia, Ranchi, Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Gomoh, Parasnath, Koderma, Gaya, Nawadah, Kiul, Jamalpur, Monghyr, Sahibpur Kamal and Begusarai stations in both the directions.
These trains will consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches.
3. Secunderabad – Raxaul – Secunderabad Special Train (10 Services):-
Train No. 07091 Secunderabad – Raxaul Special train will depart Secunderabad at 21:40 hrs o­n 03rd, 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st December, 2019 (Tuesdays) and arrive Raxaul at 18:15 hrs o­n Thursdays.
In the return direction, Train No. 07092 Raxaul – Secunderabad Special train will depart Raxaul at 12:45 hrs o­n 06th, 13th, 20th, 27th December, 2019 & 03rd January, 2020 (Fridays) and arrive Secunderabad at 06:55 hrs o­n Sundays.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Ramagundam, Mancherial, Balharshah, Sevagram, Nagpur, Betul, Itarsi, Pipariya, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Allahabad Cheoki, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Jn, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patna, Bakhtiyarpur, Mokama, Barauni, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Sitamarhi, and Bairgania stations in both the directions.
These trains will consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches.
4. Hyderabad – Jaipur – Hyderabad Special Train (08 Services):-
Train No. 02731 Hyderabad – Jaipur special train will depart Hyderabad 16:20 hrs, arrive/depart Secunderabad at 16.55/17.00 hrs o­n 06th, 13th, 20th & 27th December, 2019 (Fridays) and arrive Jaipur at 06:25 hrs o­n Sunday.
In the return direction, Train No. 02732 Jaipur – Hyderabad special train will depart Jaipur at 15:00 hrs o­n 08th, 15th, 22nd & 29th December, 2019 (Sunday) arrive/depart Secunderabad at 01.15/01.20 hrs o­n Tuesday and arrive Hyderabad at 02:00 hrs.
Enroute, these trains will also stop at Medchal, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Dharmabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Basmat, Hingoli, Washim, Akola, Malkapur, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Ujjain, Nagda, Ratlam, Mandasor, Nimach, Chittaugarh, Bhilwara, Ajmer, Kishangarh and Phulera stations in both the directions.
These trains will consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier and Sleeper Class coaches
5. H.S Nanded-Panvel- H.S Nanded Special Trains (08 services):-
Train No. 07617 H.S Nanded – Panvel special train will depart H.S Nanded at 17:30 hrs o­n 07th, 14th, 21st & 28th December, 2019 (Saturdays) and arrive Panvel at 09:00 hrs o­n Sundays.
In the return direction, Train No. 07618 Panvel – H.S Nanded special train will depart Panvel at 10:00 hrs o­n 08th, 15th, 22nd & 29th December, 2019 (Sundays) and arrive H.S Nanded at 05:00 hrs o­n Mondays.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Purna, Parbhani, Gangakher, Parli Vaijnath, Latur Road, Latur, Osmanabad, Kurduwadi, Daund, Pune and Lonavala stations in both the directions.
These special trains will consist of First AC, AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches.

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, South Central Railway will extend to run 52 special trains between Secunderabad – Kamakhya and Kanpur Central – Kacheguda as detailed below:
I. Secunderabad – Kamakhya special trains (26 services):-
Train No. 07149 Secunderabad – Kamakhya Special train will depart Secunderabad at 08:10 hrs o­n 05th, 12th, 19th, 26th July; 02nd, 09th, 16th, 23rd, 30th August; 06th, 13th, 20th & 27th September, 2019 (Fridays) arrive Kamakhya at 08:20 hrs o­n the second day (Sundays).
In the return direction, Train No. 07150 Kamakhya – Secunderabad Special train will depart Kamakhya at 05:42 hrs o­n 08th, 15th, 22nd, 29th July; 05th, 12th, 19th, 26th August; 02nd, 09th, 16th, 23rd & 30th September, 2019 (Mondays) and arrive Secunderabad at 09:15 hrs o­n the second day (Wednesdays).
Enroute, this special train will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Sattenapalle, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Anakapalli, Duvvada, Simhachalam North, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Berhampur, Kurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrakh, Balasore, Kharagpur, Andul, Barddhaman, Rampurhat, Malda Town, Barsoi, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, Jalpaiguri Road, Maynaguri Road, Mathabanga, New Coochbehar, New Alipurduar, Kokrajhar, New Bongaigaon and Goalpara Town stations in both the directions.
These special trains will consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier and Sleeper Class Coaches.
II. Kanpur Central – Kacheguda Special trains (08 Services):-
Train No. 04155 Kanpur Central – Kacheguda special train will depart Kanpur Central at 18:40 hrs o­n 04th, 11th, 18th & 25th July, 2019 (Thursdays) and arrive Kacheguda at 21:50 hrs o­n the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 04156 Kacheguda – Kanpur Central special train will depart Kacheguda at 23:20 hrs o­n 05th, 12th, 19th & 26th July, 2019 (Fridays) and arrive Kanpur Central at 02:20 hrs o­n the second day (Sunday).
Enroute, this special train stop at Pokhrayan, Orai, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Bhopal, Itarsi, Nagpur, Balharshah, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Kazipet and Malkajgiri stations in both the directions.
This special train will consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class, and General Second Class Coaches.

REGULATION OF TRAINS DUE TO TRAFFIC BLOCK IN CONNECTION WITH REPAIR OF WASHABLE APRON ON PLATFORM NO.11 AT DELHI Jn. YARD

In order to strengthen the infrastructure of railways, Delhi Division of Northern Railway shall undertake repair work of Washable Apron o­n platform no.11 at Delhi Jn . Yard with immediate upto 01.03.2018. During the repair work , traffic block shall be taken.  Consequently, the following trains will be regulated as under :
·The 15623 Bhagat ki Kothi - Kamahya Express train will be regulated o­n every Wednesday for 10 minutes at Delhi Sarai Rohilla during the block.
·The 74012 Rohtak-Delhi Jn.DEMU train will be regulated for 15 minutes enroute during the block.
·The 64901 Kosikalan-Ghaziabad MEMU train will be regulated for 10 minutes enroute o­n every Monday & Thursday during the block.
·The 64583 Tundla-DelhiJn. MEMU  train will be regulated for 20 minutes at Delhi Shahdara station during the block.
·The 15708 Amritsar-Katihar Express train will be regulated for 10 minutes at Delhi Sabzi Mandi station during the block.
·The 15013 Jaisalmer-Kathgodam Ranikhet Express train will be regulated for 10 minutes enroute  during the block.
·The 54642 Firozpur-Delhi Jn.Passenger train will be regulated for 10 minutes enroute  during the block.
Note:-During the Block , berthing of 17 trains will be shifted from platform no.11  to other platforms.

Due to delay in restoration work in flood affected sections over North Frontier Railway up to 15.09.2017, the following trains are cancelled:
1.Train No. 12551, Yesvantpur - Kamakhya AC Express Journey commencing on 09th September, 2017 from Yesvantpur is cancelled. 
2.Train No. 12552, Kamakhya - Yesvantpur AC Express Journey commencing on 13th September, 2017 from Kamakhya is cancelled.

Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Minister of Railways, inaugurates various Railway related services in Odisha and Assam 

Minister of Railways Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu inaugurated following services in Odisha and Assam through video conferencing from Rail Bhawan today i.e 19-06-2017.  Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas (Independent Charge), Shri Dharmendra Pradhan and Member of Parliament(Lok Sabha) Shri Dr. (Prof.) Prasanna Kumar Patasani, were specially present to grace the occasion. Chairman, Railway Board, Shri A. K. Mital, Member Traffic Railway Board, Shri Mohd Jamshed, other Railway Board Members and Senior Officials were also present on the occasion.
1.New railway line between Bolagarh Road and Nayagarh Town
Ø  The work for provision of new line between Khurda Road and Bolangir for a total length of 289 km was sanctioned in the year of 1994-95 at a total cost of Rs 801.78 crores.
Ø  The work for commissioning of new line between Bolagarh Road and Nayagarh town (12 km) has been completed. The total length of rail line completed is about 65 Kms.
Ø  Train No. 58429/58430/58431/58432 (Khurda Road- Bolagarh) passenger trains are being extended upto Nayagarh Town.
Ø  A large number of pilgrims visit Puri during the Rath Yatra festival and this train will facilitate the movement of pilgrims between Nayagarh Town and Puri. This will be daily service with a composition of 12 coaches.
Ø  This will fulfill the long pending demand of the local people for rail connectivity.
2.Nayagarh Town Railway Station Building
Ø  It is a ‘E’ category station on Khurda Road-Bolangir section, built at a cost of Rs 2.5 crore.
Ø  Passenger amenities like booking windows, public address system, waiting hall, platform, toilets, drinking water have been provided at the station.
Ø  To facilitate physically handicapped passengers wheel chairs have been provided. Stretchers have also been provided for medical needs of the passengers.
3.Passenger halt at Bolagarh Town
Ø  Passenger halt at Bolagarh Town was sanctioned on 13.10.2016. on passenger amenity grounds. Location of the halt is between Rajsunakhala and Bolagarh Road stations on Khurda Road-Bolangir new line in Khurda Division of East Coast Railway. It has been built at a cost of Rs. 98 lakhs.
Ø  Amenities provided are (i) High level platform (360 metres), (ii) Booking counter cum waiting room (25 sqm), (iii) Approach road (900 sqm) and (iv) one hand tubewell.
 4.PRS at Kamakhya Temple
Ø  Hon’ble MR announced for opening of PRS counter at Kamakhya temple premises on 7.5.2017.This is non-rail head PRS with the assistance of Kamakhya Devottar Board cater to approximately catchment area of 5000 passengers.
Ø  This is a location of tourist importance, lakh of devotees visit the shrine especially during Ambubushi Mela.
Ø  At present, on Northeast Frontier Railway there are 249 locations where computerized reservation facility is available.  After this, the figure will be 250 (including 115 locations in the State of Assam).

Railways have decided to extend the run of Pune-Kamakhya weekly Suvidha special trains with revised composition and with stoppage at Durgapur instead of Andal to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as under:

  • 82505 weekly Suvidha special train will leave Pune at 10.30 hrs on every Thursday from 06.07.2017 to 28.09.2017 (13 trips) and will arrive Kamakhya at 15.25 hrs o­n third day i.e. Saturday.
  • 82506 weekly Suvidha special train will leave Kamakhya at 23.05 hrs on every Monday from 03.07.2017 to 25.09.2017 (13 trips) and will arrive Pune at 02.45 hrs o­n fourth day i.e. Thursday.
Halts: Panvel, Nasik Road, Bhusaval, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakradharpur, Purulia, Asansol, Durgapur, Malda Town, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, New Coochbehar and New Bongaigaon.
Composition: - Two AC-2 Tier, Three AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper Class , 4 Second Class.
Reservation: - Bookings for Suvidha Special Train No. 82505 leaving o­n 6.7.2017 and 13.7.2017 will open o­n 17.06.2017 and for remaining trips as per 30 days Advance Reservation Period.

82505 weekly Suvidha special train will leave Pune at 10.30 hrs o­n every Thursday from 06.04.2017 to 29.06.2017 (13 trips) and will arrive Kamakhya at 15.25 hrs on third day i.e. Saturday.

82506 weekly Suvidha special train will leave Kamakhya at 23.05 hrs o­n every Monday from 03.04.2017 to 26.06.2017 (13 trips) and will arrive Pune at 02.45 hrs on fourth day i.e. Thursday.

The 82503 Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Weekly Suvidha Special Train will depart from Kamakhya at 10.00 a.m. on every Wednesday from 05.04.2017 to 28.06.2017 to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 09.30 p.m. the next day (13 trips). In the return direction, the 82504 Anand Vihar Terminal-Kamakhya Weekly Suvidha Special Train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 05.15 a.m. on every Friday from 07.04.2017 to 30.06.2017 to reach Kamakhya at 07.30 p.m. the next day (13 trips).

In the return direction, the 05718 Jalandhar City-Katihar Weekly Special Train will depart from Jalandhar City at 01.15 a.m. on every Saturday from 08.04.2017 to 01.07.2017 to reach Katihar at 11.30 a.m. the next day (13 trips).

Train No. 06011 / 06012  Nagercoil –Krishnarajapuram- Nagercoil Special With Special Fare:-
Train No. 06011 Nagercoil - Krishnarajapuram Special will leave Nagercoil at 16.15 hrs o­n Sundays and arrive at Krishnarajapuram at 08.00 hrs o­n the next day.
The train will have services from Nagercoil o­n 06.11.2016 and 13.11.2016 (Two trips).
In the return direction, Train No.06012 Krishnarajapuram – Nagercoil Special will leave Krishnarajapuram o­n Mondays at 12.20 hrs and arrive at Nagercoil at 04.30 hrs o­n the next day.
The train will have services from Krishnarajapuram o­n 07.11.2016 and 14.11.2016 (Two trips)

The first service of the train from Kamakhya is o­n 01.11.2016 and the last service will be o­n 29.11.2016 (Total: 5 Trips)
In the return direction, Train No. 82502 Bengaluru Cantonment – Kamakhya Weekly Suvidha Special will depart from Bengaluru Cantonment at 10.15 hrs o­n Fridays and arrive at Kamakhya at 13.30 hrs o­n Sundays.
The first service of the train from Bengaluru Cantonment is o­n 04.11.2016 and the last service will be o­n 02.12.2016 (Total: 5 Trips)

82505 weekly Suvidha special train will leave Pune at 1030 hrs o­n every Thursday from 06.10.2016 to 17.11.2016 (7 trips) and will arrive Kamakhya at 1525 hrs on third day i.e. Saturday.82506 weekly Suvidha special train will leave Kamakhya at 2300 hrs on every Monday from 3.10.2016 to14.11.2016 (7 trips) and will arrive Pune at 0245 hrs on fourth day i.e. Thursday.
