Cancellation of Trains
Due to operational reasons, the following trains will remain cancelled as under :
  • The 22895 Durg - Firozpur Antyodaya Express train , Journey Commencing on 18.11.2018 and 25.11.2018 shall remain cancelled . Consequently the 22896 Firozpur  Durg Antyodaya Express train, Journey Commencingon 20.11.2018 and 27.11.2018 will also remain cancelled.
  • The 14650 Amritsar-Jaynagar Saryu Yamuna Express train, Journey Commencing on 17.11.2018 shallremain cancelled . Consequently the 14673 Jaynagar – Amritsar Shaheed Express train, Journey Commencing o­n 19.11.2018 will also remain cancelled.

NORTHERN RAILWAY TO HOLD PENSION ADALAT ON 15.12.2017
To address the grievances of retired railway officials, Northern Railway holds the Pension Adalat or Pensioners Grievances Tribunal each year. In the current year, the Pension Adalat shall be held during working hours on 15.12.2017 for which last date of receiving the applications is 31.10.2017.
The Pension Adalat shall be held at the Zonal Headquarters Office at Baroda House, New Delhi and at all its’ Divisional Headquarters Offices i.e. Delhi, Firozpur, Ambala, Lucknow and Moradabad o­n the same day.
The Zonal Headquarters Office, Baroda House, New Delhi shall adjudicate o­n the grievances pertaining to employees retired from Headquarters Office of Northern Railway.  They may send their complaints to Dy.CPO/HQ/Northern Railway. Employees, retired from Divisional Office and offices under the control of DRM may send their complaints to Sr.DPO of the respective division,  retired from workshops may send their complaints to Sr.DPO of the division in whose territory the workshop is located.  The complaint application should, however, be addressed to Dy.CPO/HQ, Sr. DPO/Dy.CPO & SPO/Workshop as the cases may be.  The envelop carrying the complaint should be super-scribed  - PENSION ADALAT – 2017.

Northern Railway runs Weekly Summer Special Train between Firozpur and Darbhanga (Total 16 Trips)
In order to clear the extra rush and for the convenience of rail passengers, Northern Railway will run the 04974/04973Firozpur- Darbhanga- Firozpur Weekly  Summer Special  express  train, as per the following  programme:
  • The 04974 Firozpur- Darbhanga Weekly Summer Special Train will depart from.  Firozpur at 07.10 p.m. on every Tuesday from 09.05.2017 to 27.06.2017 to reach Darbhanga at 03.45 a.m. o­n Thursday  (8 Trips).  In the return direction, 
  • The 04973 Darbhanga-Firozpur Weekly Summer Special Train will depart from Darbhanga at 07.30 a.m. on every Thursday from11.05.2017 to 29.06.2017 to reach Firozpur at 05.30 p.m. the next day (8 Trips).
Comprising of  Twelve  sleeper class, Three general class & Two second class cum luggage van Coaches, the 04974/04973  Firozpur- Darbhanga- Firozpur  Weekly Summer Special Train will stop at Phillaur, Ludhiana, Sirhind, Rajpura, Ambala Cantt., Jagadhri, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjehanpur, Sitapur Cantt., Gonda, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Siwan Jn., Chhapra, Sonpur, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur & Samastipur  stations enroute in both the directions.

Due to operational reasons, the following passenger trains have been cancelled/partially cancelled with immediate effect as under:
Cancellation Of Trains
·The 54051/54052 Ludhiana- Firozpur- Ludhiana passenger, 54642 Firozpur- Delhi Jn. Passenger, 74939 Jallandhar-Firozpur DEMU, 54626 Jallandhar- Jaijon Doaba Passenger, 74984 Farakka- Kot Kapura DEMU, 54622 Pathankot-Jallandhar Passenger & 74920 Jallandhar-Hoshiyarpur DEMU trains will remain cancelled o­n every Saturday.
·The 54051/54052 Ludhiana- Firozpur- Ludhiana Passenger, 54641 Delhi Jn.-Firozpur Passenger, 74932 Firozpur-Jallandhar DEMU, 74981 Kot Kapura-Fazilka DEMU, 54625 Jaijon Doaba-Jallandhar Passenger, 54621 Jallandhar-Pathankot Passenger & 74911 Hoshiyarpur-Jallandhar DEMU trains will remain cancelled o­n every Sunday.

Partial Cancellation Of Trains
·The 74986/74985 & 74988/74987 Farakka- Bhatinda- Farakka DEMU Trains will be short terminated at/ originate from Kot Kapura &  remain cancelled between Kot Kapura – Bhatinda – Kot Kapura.

REVISION OF TIMING OF 74939 JALANDHAR CITY- FIROZPUR DEMU TRAIN FROM 01.11.2015

It is notified for the information of general public that the timing of train no. 74939 Jalandhar city- Firozepur DEMU will be revised from 01.11.15 as per the details given below:-

The 74939 Jalandhar city- Firozepur DEMU train will depart from Jalandhar city at 09.55 p.m. instead of 08.50 p.m. to reach Firozpur Cantt. At 11.55 p.m. the same day from 01.11.15.

The other features like composition,  route, stoppages etc. will remain unchanged.

Prevent Farmers from disrupting Rail services: Railways to Punjab Govt

Firozpur (FZP): Northern Railway officials today appealed to the Punjab state government to prevent farmers’ unions, which yesterday rejected the compensation announced for cotton growers who have suffered crop losses and threatened to intensify their stir, from disrupting train services in the state.

Divisional Railway Manager (Firozpur Division) Anuj Prakash said “these kind of agitations are now happening almost every week in the state. The disruption in train services not only hits the economy and business sector but also cause inconvenience to hapless passengers like women, children and elderly people.”

Punjab farmers agitating on Rail tracksThe DRM/Firozpur urged the government to take action against those trying to “paralyse” rail movement.

Farmers’ unions in Punjab had yesterday rejected Rs.640 crore compensation announced by the government and said that they would intensify their stir by blocking trains’ movement on October 7 and 8.

Punjab farmers rail roko on Rail tracksSeveral farmers’ organisations including BKU Ekta (Dakunda), BKU Ekta (Ugrahan), BKU (Krantikari), Kirti Kisan Union are at loggerheads with the state government over their demands – Rs.40000 per acre compensation for farmers who have suffered crop losses due to whitefly attacks, Rs.20000 relief per family for farm labours, Rs.4500 per quintal rate for basmati PUSA 1509 variety, among others.

Yesterday, a farmers’ delegation also met senior officials of the Punjab government but the talk remained inconclusive.

On September 2, rail traffic was severely affected on Delhi-Amritsar and Delhi-Jammu routes after sugarcane farmers squatted on railway tracks between Chaheru and Jalandhar, protesting against the Centre and the state government for non-payment of their dues.

The Firozepur division caters to the rail transport needs of Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and a part of Himachal Pradesh.

Due to operational reasons, the following trains will remain cancelled due to cancellation of their corresponding service as under:
  • The 12911 Valsad- Haridwar express, 12168 Varanasi- Lokmanya Tilak T. Superfast Express, 
  • 14009 Chhindwara Jn. – Delhi Sarai Rohilla Patalkot Express & 13131 Kolkata- Anand Vihar T. Express trains will remain cancelled on 14.07.2015.
  • ·The 12912 Haridwar – Valsad express, 12625 Trivandrum Central – New Delhi Kerala Express & 
  • 14625 Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Firozpur Intercity express trains will remain cancelled occn 15.07.2015.
  • The 19057 Udhna- Varanasi express train will remain cancelled on 17.07.2015. 
  • The 14626 Firozpur- Delhi Sarai Rohilla Intercity Express &
  • 13132 Anand Vihar T.- Kolkata  Express trains will remain cancelled on 16.07.2015.

Railway Runs One Pair Of Jansadharan Special Train Between Firozpur And Saharsa

To clear extra rush of rail passengers during Summer season-2015, Railway will run special train no. 05529/05530 Saharsa- Firozpur- Saharsa Jansadharan Special(02 trips) as per the following programme:-

The 05529 Saharsa- Firozpur Jansadharan Special train will depart from Saharsa o­n 17.04.2015 (single trip) at 09.40 a.m. to reach Firozpur at 07.40 p.m. the next day. In the return direction, the 05530 Firozpur- Saharsa Jansadharan Special train will depart from Firozpur o­n 18.04.2015 (single trip) at 11.30 p.m. to reach Saharsa at 11.15 a.m. the third day.

Comprising of Sixteen General Class and two Second Class cum Luggage Van coaches, the 05529/05530 Saharsa- Firozpur- Saharsa Jansadharan Special train will stop at Simri Bakhtiyarpur, Mansi, Khagaria, Begusarai, Barauni, Shahpur Patoree, Hajipur, Sonpur, Chhapra, Gorakhpur, Gonda, Sitapur Cantt., Bareilley, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Ambala Cantt., Ludhiana & Jalandhar City .stations enroute in both the directions.
