Change in pattern of Train Services

In view of Line Block/Power Block for facilitating engineering work between Sengulam – Tirunelveli Section and erection of girders at North Panakudi Station, following are the changes in pattern of train services:

Full Cancellation of Train Services:

·Train No. 06430 Nagercoil – Kochuveli Express Special will be fully cancelled o­n 21st & 24th July, 2022

·Train No. 06429 Kochuveli – Nagercoil Express Special will be fully cancelled o­n 21st & 24th July, 2022

Partial Cancellation of Train Services:

·Train No. 22628 Thiruvananthapuram – Tiruchchirappalli Express leaving Thiruvananthapuram at 11.35 hrs o­n 21st & 24th July 2022 will be partially cancelled between Thiruvananthapuram and Tirunelveli. The train will commence journey from Tirunelveli at its scheduled departure time of 14.30 hrs

·Train No. 22627 Tiruchchirappalli – Thiruvananthapuram Express leaving Tiruchchirappalli at 07.20 hrs o­n 21st & 24th July 2022 will be partially cancelled between Tirunelveli and Thiruvananthapuram. The train will not run from Tirunelveli to Thiruvananthapuram

·Train No. 20691 Tambaram – Nagercoil Antyodaya Express leaving Tambaram at 23.00 hrs o­n 20th July 2022 will be partially cancelled between Tirunelveli and Nagercoil. The train will not run from Tirunelveli to Nagercoil

·Train No. 20692 Nagercoil - Tambaram Antyodaya Express leaving Nagercoil at 15.50 hrs o­n 21st July 2022 will be partially cancelled between Nagercoil and Tirunelveli. The train will commence journey from Tirunelveli at its scheduled departure time of 17.05 hrs

·Train No. 22657 Tambaram – Nagercoil Superfast Tri-Weekly Express leaving Tambaram at 19.30 hrs o­n 20th July 2022 will be partially cancelled between Tirunelveli and Nagercoil. The train will not run from Tirunelveli to Nagercoil

·Train No. 22658 Nagercoil - Tambaram Express Superfast Tri-Weekly leaving Nagercoil at 16.15 hrs o­n 21st July 2022 will be partially cancelled between Nagercoil and Tirunelveli. The train will commence journey from Tirunelveli at its scheduled departure time of 17.50  hrs

·Train No. 16366 Nagercoil – Kottayam Express leaving Nagercoil at 13.00 hrs o­n 21st & 24th July 2022 will be partially cancelled between Nagercoil and Thiruvananthapuram. The train will commence journey from Thiruvananthapuram at its scheduled departure time of 14.35 hrs

· Train No. 16526 Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna (Bengaluru Station) – Kanniyakumari Express leaving Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna (Bengaluru Station) at 20.10 hrs o­n 20th & 23rd July 2022 will be partially cancelled between Eraniel and Kanniyakumari. The train will not run from Eraniel to Kanniyakumari

Rescheduling of Train Service:

· Train No.12659 Nagercoil – Shalimar Weekly Express scheduled to leave Nagercoil at 14.45 hrs o­n 24th July 2022 will be rescheduled to leave Nagercoil at 15.45 hrs (Rescheduling by 1 hr)

Diversion of Train Services

Due to Non-Interlocked working of Trains to facilitate Yard Modification works at Ariyalur Yard, the following are the changes made in pattern of Train services

·Train No. 16127 Chennai Egmore- Guruvayur Daily Express scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 09.00 hrs o­n 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 31st December 2021 & 01st, 02nd, 03rd, 04th, 05th, 06th, 07th, 08th, 09th, 10th January 2022 (except 30th December, 2021) will be diverted to run via Villupuram, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur and Tiruchchirappalli duly skipping the stoppages at Vriddhachalam, Pennadam, Ariyalur and Srirangam (15 Services). Additional stoppages will be provided at Tiruppadirippuliyur, Chidambaram and Thanjavur for the benefit of passengers

·Train No. 20973 Ajmer – Rameswaram Weekly Superfast Humsafar Express scheduled to leave Ajmer at  20.10 hrs o­n 25th December, 2021 & 01st, 08th January, 2022 will be diverted to run via Villupuram, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur and Tiruchchirappalli duly skipping the stoppage at Ariyalur (3 Services). An additional stoppage at Thanjavur will be provided for the benefit of passengers

·Train No. 22632 Bikaner – Madurai Weekly Superfast Express scheduled to leave Bikaner at 15.00 hrs o­n 26th December, 2021  & 02nd January, 2022 will be diverted to run via Villupuram, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur and Tiruchchirappalli duly skipping the stoppages at Vriddhachalam, Ariyalur and Srirangam  (2 Services). Additional stoppages will be provided at Tiruppadirippuliyur, Chidambaram and Thanjavur for the benefit of passengers

·Train No. 12636 Madurai – Chennai Egmore Vaigai Superfast Express scheduled to leave Madurai at 07.05 hrs o­n 30th, 31st December, 2021 & 06th January 2022 will be diverted to run via Tiruchchirappalli, Thanjavur, Kumbakonam and Villupuram duly skipping the stoppages at Ariyalur and Vriddhachalam and will be partially cancelled between Tambaram and Chennai Egmore and not will run between Tambaram and Chennai Egmore. Additional stoppages will be provided at Thanjavur, Chidambaram and Tiruppadirippuliyur

Diversion of Train Services

Due to temporary suspension of Traffic o­n Bridge No.299 between Mukundarayapuram and Tiruvalam stations in Arakkonam – Katpadi section of Chennai Division, the following changes are made in the pattern of Express train services

1.Train No. 22644 Patna - Ernakulam  Bi Weekly Superfast Express that left Patna at 14.00 hrs o­n 24th December, 2021 will be diverted to run via Gudur, Renigunta and Katpadi skipping stoppage at Perambur

2.Train No. 07139 Kakinada Town - Kollam special that left  Kakinada Town at 19.35 hrs o­n 24th December, 2021 will be diverted to run via Gudur, Renigunta, and Katpadi

3.Train No. 05669 Kamakhya – Kochuveli Special that left Kamakhya at 07.40 hrs o­n 23rd December, 2021will be diverted to run via Gudur, Renigunta and Katpadi

Mumbai-Kochuveli Special Cancelled Due to Poor Occupancy

Railways has decided to cancel Train no. 06164  Kochuveli - Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Garib Rath special with effect  from Journey Commencing o­n 17.6.2021, 20.6.2021, 24.6.2021 & 27.6.2021 and its pairing train no. 06163 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Kochuveli  Garib Rath special with effect  from Journey Commencing o­n 18.6.2021, 21.6.2021, 25.6.2021 & 28.6.2021 due to poor occupancy

Passengers are requested to kindly note.

SPECIAL TRAINS 

As approved by Railway Board, the following fully reserved special trains will be run as follows: -

1. Train no. 06349 / 06350 Kochuveli – Nilambur Road – Kochuveli Daily Special Trains

With a composition of One AC 2-Tier Coach, One AC 3-Tier Coach, Seven Sleeper Class Coaches, Two General Second Class Coaches, and Two Luggage cum Brake Vans, Train No. 06349 Kochuveli – Nilambur Road Daily Special will leave Kochuveli at 20.50 hrs to reach Nilambur Road at 05.45 hrs the next day. The first service from Kochuveli will be o­n 08^th December, 2020 to until further advice.

In return direction, Train No. 06350 Nilambur Road – Kochuveli Daily Special will leave Nilambur Road at 21.30 hrs to reach Kochuveli at 05.50 hrs the next day. The first service from Nilambur Road will be o­n 09^th December, 2020 to until further advice.

The details of stoppages and timings of Train no. 06349 / 06350 Kochuveli – Nilambur Road – Kochuveli Daily Special Trains as follows.

Note:  The stoppages at Vailapuzha, Cherukara, Pattikkad, Melattur and Tuvvur are temporarily kept in abeyance due to non-availability of unreserved accommodation.

2. Train no. 02603 / 02604 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Hyderabad – Dr. MGR Chennai Central Daily Express Special Trains

With a composition of One AC First Class cum AC 2-Tier Coach, Two AC 2-Tier Coaches, Two AC 3-Tier Coaches, Thirteen Sleeper Class Coaches, Three General Second Class Coaches, and Two Luggage cum Brake Vans, Train No. 02603 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Hyderabad Daily Express Special train will leave Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 16.45 hrs with effect from 10^th December, 2020 and reach Hyderabad at 05.40 hrs, the next day.

In return direction Train No. 02604 Hyderabad – Dr. MGR Chennai Central Daily Express Special train will leave Hyderabad at 16.45 hrs with effect from 11^th December, 2020 and reach Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 05.45 hrs, the next day.

The details of stoppages and timings of Train no. 02603 / 02604 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Hyderabad – Dr. MGR Chennai Central Daily Express Special Trains as follows.  

Reservations for the above special trains will open at 08.00 hrs o­n 03.12.2020.
