SUPERFAST SPECIAL TRAIN INTRODUCED BETWEEN SURAT & MAHUVA | Smt. DarshanaJardosh-Hon’ble Minister Of State For Railways & Textiles Flagged Off The Special Train At Surat Station

Hon’ble Minister of State for Railways & Textiles, Smt. Darshana Jardosh flagged off a new Superfast Special Train between Surat and Mahuva o­n Thursday, 19th August, 2021 in a function held at Surat station. Hon’ble Minister of State, Health & Family Welfare, Medical Education (Govt. of Gujarat) Shri Kishorbhai Kanani, Hon’ble Mayor Smt. Hemali Boghawala, Hon’ble MP Shri Prabhubhai Vasava and Hon’ble MLAs Shri V. Zalavadiya, Shri Arvindbhai Rana & Shri Pravinbhai Ghoghari, other distinguished guests including Shri Rajkumar Lal – Principal Chief Commercial Manager of WR &various senior railway officers were also present. Hon’ble MP Naranbhai Kachhadiya joined the event through video link.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, o­n this occasion Shri G.V.L. Satyakumar – Divisional Railway Manager of Mumbai Central Division gave the welcome speech at Surat station. Hon’ble Minister of State, Health & Family Welfare (Govt. of Gujarat) Shri Kishorbhai Kanani addressed the gathering followed by Hon’ble MP ShriNaranbhaiKachhadiya through video link. Hon’ble MP Shri Prabhubhai Vasava also spoke o­n the occasion.Hon’ble MoSR Smt. Darshana Jardosh in her address shared her thoughts and vision for the Railways. Later, Hon’ble MoSR alongwith other dignitaries flagged off the inaugural run of the Surat – Mahuva Special Express from Surat o­n Thursday, 19th August, 2021.

Shri Thakur stated that in its regular service, Train No. 09049 Surat – Mahuva Superfast Special Express will leave Surat o­n all days except Wednesday & Friday at 22.00 hrs to reach Mahuva at 09.05 hrs o­n the next day. This train will run regularly from Saturday, 21stAugust, 2021. Similarly, Train No. 09050 Mahuva – Surat Superfast Special Express will leave Mahuva o­n all days except Thursday & Saturday at 19.35 hrs to reach Surat at 06.35 hrs o­n the next day. This train will run regularly from Friday, 20th August, 2021. Enroute this train will halt at Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Surendranagar Gate, BotadJn, DholaJn, DhasaJn, Savarkundla and Rajula Jn stations in both directions. This train will run as fully reserved train. The train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class & Second Class Seating coaches.

Passengers may kindly take note that Train No. 09071/09072 Surat – MahuvaSpecial Superfast Express (Original Train No. 12945/46) will be cancelled with effect from 25th August, 2021 from both ends.

The booking of regular trips of Train No. 09049 & 09050 is open at nominated PRS counters and IRCTC website. For detailed information regarding timings of halts and composition, passengers may please visit www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in.It is worth mentioning that o­nly passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board the train. WESTERN RAILWAY TO RUN UNRESERVED DAILY SPECIAL TRAINS TO VARIOUS DESTINATIONS

For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, Western Railway plans to run Unreserved Special Trains o­n daily basis till further advice.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, details of these trains are as under:

1.Train No. 09521/09522 Rajkot – Somnath Passenger Special Train (Daily)

Train No. 09521 Rajkot – Somnath Special will depart from Rajkot at 18.05 hrs daily and reach Somnath at 23.25 hrs the same day, w.e.f 16th August, 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 09522 Somnath – Rajkot Special will depart from Somnath at 04.35 hrs daily and reach Rajkot at 09.45 hrs the same day, w.e.f. 17th August, 2021 till further advice. Enroute this train will halt at Bhaktinagar, Kothariya, Ribada, Gondal, Gomta, Virpur, Navagadh, JetalsarJn, ChokiSorath, Vadal, JunagadhJn, Shapur, Bandhnath, Lushala, Badodar, Keshod, MaliyaHatina, Chorwad Road &Veraval stations in both directions.

2.Train No. 09516/09515 Porbandar – Kanalus Passenger Special Train (Daily)

Train No. 09516 Porbandar – Kanalus Special will depart from Porbandar at 10.25 hrs daily and reach Kanalus at 12.50 hrs the same day, w.e.f 16th August, 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 09515 Kanalus – Porbandar Special will depart from Kanalus at 15.00 hrs daily and reach Porbandar at 17.15 hrs the same day, w.e.f. 16th August, 2021 till further advice. Enroute this train will halt at Ranavav, RanaBordi, Sakhpur, Tarsai, WansjaliyaJn, Jashapar, Bhanvad, Gop Jam &Lalpur Jam stations in both directions.

3.Train No. 09131/09132 Anand – GodhraMEMU Special Train (Daily)

8.Train No. 09088/09087 Surat – Sanjan MEMU Special Train (Daily)

Train No. 09088 Surat - Sanjan Special will depart from Surat at 17.25 hrs daily and reach Sanjan at 20.35 hrs the same day, w.e.f 16th August, 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 09087 Sanjan – Surat Special will depart from Sanjanat 07.10 hrs daily and reach Surat at 10.15 hrs the same day, w.e.f. 17th August, 2021 till further advice. Enroute this train will halt at UdhnaJn, Bhestan, Sachin, Maroli, Navsari, Gandhi Smriti, Vedchha, Ancheli, Amalsad, BilimoraJn, Joravasan, Dungri, Valsad, Atul, Pardi, Udvada, Bagwada, Vapi, Karambeli&Bhilad stations in both directions.

9.Train No. 09089/09090 Virar – Sanjan MEMU Special Train (Daily)

Train No. 09089 Virar – Sanjan Special will depart from Virar at 05.15 hrs daily and reach Sanjan at 06.55 hrs the same day, w.e.f 17th August, 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 09090Sanjan – Virar Special will depart from Sanjan at 20.55hrs daily and reach Virar at 23.10hrs the same day, w.e.f. 16th August, 2021 till further advice. Enroute this train will halt at Vaitarna, Saphale, Kelve Road, Palghar, Umroli, Boisar, Vangaon, Dahanu Road, Gholwad&Umargam Road stations in both directions.

10.Train No. 09095/09096 Surat – Nandurbar MEMU Special Train (Daily)

Train No. 09095 Surat – Nandurbar Special will depart from Surat at 18.15 hrs daily and reach Nandurbar at 22.30 hrs the same day, w.e.f 17th August, 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 09096 Nandurbar – Surat Special will depart from Nandurbar at 05.00 hrs daily and reach Surat at 09.35 hrs the same day, w.e.f. 18th August, 2021 till further advice. Enroute this train will halt at UdhnaJn, Chalthan, Bagumra, Gangadhra, Bardoli, Timbarva, Mangrolia, Madhi, Kaher, Vyara, Kikakui Road, Dosvada, UkaiSongadh, Lakkadkot, Bhadbhunja, Navapur, Kolde, Chinchpada, Khatgaon, Khandbara&Dhekvad stations in both directions. Train No. 09121 Udhna – Paldhi Special will depart from Udhna at 12.45 hrs daily and reach Paldhi at 20.15 hrs the same day, w.e.f 17th August, 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 09122Paldhi - Udhna Special will depart from Paldhi at 20.45 hrs daily and reach Udhna at 04.45 hrs the next day, w.e.f. 17th August, 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 09296 Delvada – Veraval Special will depart from Delvada at 08.15 hrs daily and reach Veraval at 11.15 hrs the same day, w.e.f. 17th August, 2021 till further advice. Enroute this train will halt at Savni, TalalaJn, Jambur, GirHadmatiya, Prachi Road Jn, Valadar, Jamwala, Hadmadiya, GirGadhara&UnaGujarat stations in both directions.

For the convenience of passengers, Western Railway has decided to run additional Weekly Special train between Surat and Malda Town.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Train No 03426 Surat – Malda Town Weekly Special train will depart from Surat at 14.20 hrs every  Monday and will reach Malda Town at 06.15 hrs, the third day w.e.f 8thFebruary, 2021 till further advice. Similarly, Train No. 03425 Malda Town - SuratSpecial train will depart from Malda Town at 12.30 hrs every Saturdayand will arrive Surat at 04.10 hrs, the third day w.e.f 6th February, 2021 till further advice. This train will halt at Nandurbar, Amalner, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Akola, Badnera, Wardha, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Ranchi, Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Chandrapura, Dhanbad, Asansol, Durgapur, Siuri, Rampurhat, Pakaur and New Farakka stations in both directions. The train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and  Second class seating coaches.

WESTERN RLY TO RUN SPECIAL MEMU TRAIN BETWEEN SURAT & VALSAD

For the convenience of passengers, Western Railway has decided to run special MEMU train between Surat and Valsad.According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, this MEMU service will run w.e.f. 2nd February, 2021 till further advice. This train will be fully reserved. Train no. 09152 Surat – Valsad MEMU Special will depart from Surat at 09.20 hrs & will reach Valsad at 11.35 hrs.  Similarly, Train no. 09151 Valsad – Surat MEMU Special will depart from Valsadat 15.35 hrs & will reach Surat at 17.33 hrs. This train will halt at Dungri, BilimoraJn, Amalsad, Ancheli, Vedchha, Navsari, Maroli, Sachin, Bhestan and Udhna Jn stations in both directions. This MEMU comprises of total 12 coaches. The booking of this train has been opened with immediate effect as per ARP of 10 days. Passengers are requested to follow all norms of State & Central Government regarding Covid 19 including Social distancing, sanitization etc. in the trains and at the railway stations.

WESTERN RAILWAY EXTENDS THE TRIPS OF FLYING RANEE SUPERFAST SPECIAL EXPRESS UPTO 31st DECEMBER, 2020

For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, Western Railway has decided to further extend the run of Flying Ranee Superfast Special Express between Mumbai Central and Surat.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur- Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Rly, Train No. 02921 / 02922 Mumbai Central – Surat Flying Ranee Superfast Special Express has now been extended to run daily from 20th November,2020 upto 31stDecember,2020. This special train was earlier scheduled to run upto 19th November, 2020.

Accordingly, Train No. 02921 Mumbai Central - Surat Flying Ranee Superfast Special will depart from Mumbai Central daily at 17.55 hrs and will reach Surat at 22.35 hrs, the same day. Similarly, Train No. 02922 Surat – Mumbai Central Superfast Special will depart from Surat daily at 05.40 hrs and will arrive Mumbai Central at 10.20 hrs, the same day. The train will halt at Andheri, Borivali, Palghar, Dahanu Road, Vapi, Valsad, Bilimora Jn, Amalsad, Navsari, Maroli, Sachin and Udhna Jn in both directions. The train will have AC Chair Car and Second Class seating coaches. This train will run as fully reserved train.

 The booking for the extended trips of Train No. 02921/ 02922 will open from 19th November, 2020 at all PRS counters and IRCTC website

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur- Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Rly, five o­ne way special trains with single trips will be running with special fare. Details of the trains are as under :-

1) Train No 09581 Surat – Saharsa Jn o­ne-way Special train o­n special fare

Train No 09581 Surat – Saharsa Jn special will depart Surat o­n 12th Nov, 2020 (Thursday) at 17.30 hrs & will reach Saharsa Jn at 03.55 hrs o­n Saturday. Enroute this train will halt at Nandurbar, Bhusaval Jn, Itarsi Jn, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagrajcheoki, Dd Upadhyaya Jn, Patna Jn, Barauni Jn, Begu Sarai and Khagaria stations. This pair of special train will run as per monsoon & non-monsoon timings as mentioned below. Monsoon timings are upto 31st October, 2020, thereafter this pair of train will run o­n non-monsoon timings. Details of all the above mentioned trains are as follows:-

Train No 05068/ 05067 Bandra Terminus - Gorakhpur Weekly Special

Train No 05068 Bandra T-Gorakhpur Special will leave Bandra T every Friday w.e.f 2ndOctober, 2020 at 00.20 hrs & will reach Gorakhpur at 17.35 hrs the next day.Similarly, Train No 05067 Gorakhpur-Bandra T will leave Gorakhpur every Wednesday w.e.f 30thSept, 2020 at 05.30 hrs & will reach Bandra T. at 19.10 hrs the next day. Enroute this train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Udhna Jn, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Bhusaval Jn, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi Jn, Habibganj, Vidisha, Jhansi Jn, Orai, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Barabanki jn, Gonda Jn, Balrampur, Jharkhandi F, Tulsipur, Barhni, Shohratgarh, Siddharth Nagar and Anand Nagar in both directions. This train comprises ofAC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seating coaches.

Train No 02828/02827 Surat- Khurda Road Weekly Superfast Special

Train No 02828 Surat - Khurda Road special will leave Surat every Tuesday w.e.f 29th Sept, 2020 at 08.30 hrs & will reach Khurda Road at 15.30 hrs the next day. This train will run upto 20th Oct. 2020. Similarly, Train No 02827 Khurda Rd - Surat special will leave Khurda Road every Sunday w.e.f27th Sept, 2020 at 20.40 hrs & will reach at Surat at 03.20 hrs o­n Tuesday. This train will run upto 18thOct. 2020.Enroute this train will halt at Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Nagpur, Gondia Jn., Durg, Raipur, Kantabanji, Titlagarh, Balangir, Bargarh Rd, Sambalpur, Angul, Talcher Rd, Dhenkanal and Bhubaneswar stations in both directions. This train comprises ofAC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seating coaches.

Train No 08408 / 08407 Ahmedabad – Khurda RoadWeeklySpecial Train

Train No 08408 Ahmedabad – Khurda Road Special train will leave from Ahmedabad o­n everySaturday at 00.15 hrs w.e.f3rd October, 2020 & will reach Khurda Road at 14.30 hrs the next day. This train will run upto 24thOct, 2020. Similarly, Train No 08407 Khurda Road – Ahmedabad Specialtrain will leave from Khurda Roadon everyWednesday w.e.f.30thSept, 2020 at 10.40 hrs. & will reach Ahmedabad o­n Friday at 03.20 hrs. This train will run upto 21st Oct, 2020.The train will halt at Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Bhusaval,Badnera, Wardha, Chandrapur, Balharshah Jn, Sirpur Kaghaz Nagar, Manchiryal, Ramagundam, Warangal, Vijaywada, Elluru, Rajahmundry, Anakapalle, Duvvada, Kottavalasa, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Rd and Brahmapur stations in both directions. The train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3- Tier, Sleeper Class and Second class seating coaches.

Train No 02414/02413 H.Nizamuddin-Madgaon Bi-weekly Rajdhani Superfast Special (via Vadodara & Surat)

Train No 02414 H. Nizamuddin-Madgaon Special will leave H. Nizamuddin every Friday & Saturday w.e.f 2ndOctober, 2020 at 11.35 hrs & will reach Madgaon the next day at 14.20 hrs (during monsoon) & at 12.50 hrs (during non-monsoon). Similarly, Train No 02413 Madgaon- H.Nizamuddin will leave Madgaon Jn. every Sunday & Monday w.e.f 4th October, 2020 at 11.00 hrs (during monsoon) & at 10.30 hrs (during non-monsoon) & reach H. Nizamuddin at 16.45 hrs (during monsoon) & at 12.40 hrs (during non-monsoon). Enroute, this train will halt at Kota Jn, Vadodara Jn, Surat, Panvel and Ratnagiri stations in both directions. This train comprises ofis AC, AC 2 Tier and AC 3 Tier coaches.

The booking of Train No 05068, 02828 & 08408 will open from 27th September, 2020 at nominated PRS counters and o­n IRCTC website. All the above trains will run as fully reserved trains.
