 Central Railway has advised revision in timings of Train No. 06051 Kolhapur – Thiruvananthapuram Central RRB Exam Special journey commencing o­n 17th June 2022 at Kolhapur and Miraj station has been changed as detailed below.

PERMANENT AUGMENTATION OF EXPRESS TRAINS

The following special trains will be permanently augmented with the following  composition as detailed below:-

1.Train No. 12687 / 12688 Madurai – Chandigarh – Madurai Bi-Weekly Superfast Express will be permanently augmented with One AC 2-Tier Coach and One Sleeper Class Coach Ex. Madurai with effect from 02nd January, 2022 and Ex. Chandigarh with effect from 07th January, 2022.

The revised composition after the Permanent Augmentation will be:

One AC 2-Tier Coach, Three AC 3-Tier Coaches, Ten Sleeper Class Coaches, Four General Second Class Coaches, o­ne Pantry Car  and Two Luggage cum Brake vans with accommodation for differently abled persons.

2.Train No. 22613 / 22614 Rameswaram – Ayodhya Cantonment – Rameswaram Sradhhasethu Weekly Superfast Express will be permanently augmented with  One AC 2-Tier Coach, o­ne Sleeper Class Coach and o­ne General Second Class Coach Ex. Rameswaram with effect from 19th December, 2021 and Ex. Ayodhya Cantonment with effect from 22nd December, 2021.

The revised composition after the Permanent Augmentation will be:

One AC 2-Tier Coach, Three AC 3-Tier Coaches, Eleven Sleeper Class Coaches, Four General Second Class Coaches, o­ne Pantry Car  and Two Luggage cum Brake vans with accommodation for differently abled persons

Revised Timings and Numbers of Announced MEMU services o­n Mumbai Division o­n Vasai Road- Diva-Panvel section

Railways have already announced the restoration of MEMU services o­n Mumbai Division o­n Vasai Road-Diva-Panvel sections w.e.f. 24.09.2021.  

Now, the MEMU services will run with revised numbers and timings as under.  Passengers are requested to note the same.

Existing Covid-19 protocols mandated for EMU suburban services o­n Mumbai division will be followed for issue of tickets/passes and travel in MEMU services.

Revised dates of Commencement of Additional Special Trains between Mumbai – Mysuru and Mumbai - Puducherry

Railways have revised the dates of commencement of additional weekly trains between Mumbai –Mysuru and Mumbai- Puducherry due to yard remodelling work at Hubballi. The details are given below:

A) Dadar-Mysuru Jn Weekly Special

01035 Weekly special will now leave Dadar with effect from 25.2.2021 (instead of 11.2.2021) until further advice.

01036 Weekly special will leave Mysuru Jn. with effect from 28.2.2021 (instead of 14.2.2021) until further advice. 

B) Dadar-Puducherry Tri-weekly Special

01005  Tri-weekly special will leave Dadar with effect from 26.2.2021 (instead of 14.2.2021) until further advice. 

01006 Tri-weekly special will leave Puducherry  with effect from 28.2.2021(instead of 16.2.2021) until further advice. 

There is no change in the Timings, Halts and Composition of the above trains.

Note:  Passengers who have already booked by 01035 for the trips o­n 11.2.2021 and 18.2.2021 can obtain full refund, as the trips are cancelled.  Inconvenience caused is regretted.

Rationalisation of Tourist Ticket Fare in suburban sections
Railways will rationalise the fare of Tourist Tickets in Mumbai Suburban Section of Central and Western Railways with immediate effect.The revised fare for tourist tickets will be as under:
Second class: Validity of 1 day – basic fare Rs.50; validity of 3 days – basic fare Rs.94; validity of 5 days – basic fare Rs.116
First class: Validity of 1 day – basic fare Rs.200; validity of 3 days – basic fare Rs.376; validity of 5 days – basic fare Rs.464
AC EMU: Validity of 1 day – basic fare Rs.260; validity of 3 days – basic fare Rs.490; validity of 5 days – basic fare Rs.600
Note:
·CIDCO surcharge shall not be applicable o­n tourist tickets.Other charges like MUTP, MRTS and MMTS o­n tourist tickets for both second and first class shall be levied at par with that applicable for season tickets for 11-50 km
·The basic fare of child tickets shall be half the basic fares, rounded off to next higher multiple of Rs.5/- wherever required. Other charges shall be levied in full.
·These tourist tickets will be valid for travel any number of times, from any station to any station o­n the suburban sections of all Indian Railways and valid up to mid-night of their date of validity as the case may be.
·Tourist tickets can be issued maximum 3 days in advance excluding the first day of validity.
·No concession shall be admissible to anyone o­n tourist tickets.
·Refund: No refund shall be admissible o­n unused/partially used tourist tickets under any circumstances.However, tourist tickets booked in advance can be cancelled after deducting usual clerkage charges (which is at present Rs.30/- for second class and Rs.60/- for first class.) before the first day of validity.

REVISION IN MENU AND TARIFF OF CATERING SERVCES IN RAILWAYS
Railway Board has revised the Menu and Tariff of pre-paid catering services of Rajdhani / Shatabdi / Duronto trains and standard meals / food items provided in Mail/Express trains o­n payment basis taking into consideration the requests of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and the recommendations of the Menu and Tariff committee set up by Railway Board.

This revision of Menu and tariff of catering services and standard meals will be implemented with effect from 28.3.2020 as per 120 days Advance Reservation Period.
The Railways have decided to introduce Chicken Curry as an option in standard non-vegetarian meal in addition to existing non-vegetarian meal with egg curry and to offer Biryani (Veg. Biryani, Egg Biryani and Chicken Biryani) as a standard meal variety in view of its popularity.
The Railways have alsodecided to introduce ‘Snack Meal’ with regional items/cuisine/flavour as a meal variety. The components of newly introduced standard items will be decided by ITCTC.For details visit www.indianrailways .gov.in and menurates.irctc.co.in.

CHARGES OF CLOAK ROOM FACILITY AT HOWRAH STATION REVISED
Kolkata, 11 October, 2019:-
Charges of Cloak Room facility at Howrah station, both at Old and at New Complex have been revised with effect from 15.10.2019. For first 24 hours or part thereof Rs. 30/- will be charged per package. For each subsequent 24 hours or part thereof Rs. 40/- will be charged per package.

Revised Composition of Tambaram – Nagercoil Triweekly Express

 Train No.22657/22658 Tambaram – Nagercoil Triweekly Express, presently running with IRS ( International Railway Solution) conventional stock,  will be converted into Centre Buffer Couple (CBC) stock with a composition change - One First AC COach will be replaced by o­ne First AC cum Second AC Coach in Tambaram - Nagercoil Triweekly Express
