Revised Composition of Tambaram – Nagercoil Triweekly Express

 Train No.22657/22658 Tambaram – Nagercoil Triweekly Express, presently running with IRS ( International Railway Solution) conventional stock,  will be converted into Centre Buffer Couple (CBC) stock with a composition change - One First AC COach will be replaced by o­ne First AC cum Second AC Coach in Tambaram - Nagercoil Triweekly Express
These trains will be run with CBC rake from the dates given below.
Train No. 22657 Tambaram-Nagercoil Triweekly Express
Train No. 22658 Nagercoil- Tambaram Triweekly Express
Ex. Tambaram
From 9th of April, 2019
Ex.Nagercoil
 From 10th of April, 2019
Consequently, the composition of Train No.22657/22658 Tambaram – Nagercoil Triweekly Express services will be revised as detailed below:
 Composition: 1st AC + 2-tier AC – 1, AC 3-tier– 2, Sleeper Class – 9, General Second Class- 2, Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 Coaches.

Southern Railway plans to replace all second class sleeper coaches with AC coaches - Clarification of SR

CLARIFICATION ON REPLACEMENT OF A SLEEPER COACH WITH AIRCONDITIONED COACH IN CERTAIN TRAINS

Reports have appeared in some sections of the media that Southern Railway plans to replace all second class sleeper coaches with AC coaches in a span of five years, attributing the source of such news to a statement made by the General Manager.
