PERMANENT AUGMENTATION OF EXPRESS TRAINS

The following special trains will be permanently augmented with the following  composition as detailed below:-

1.Train No. 12687 / 12688 Madurai – Chandigarh – Madurai Bi-Weekly Superfast Express will be permanently augmented with One AC 2-Tier Coach and One Sleeper Class Coach Ex. Madurai with effect from 02nd January, 2022 and Ex. Chandigarh with effect from 07th January, 2022.

The revised composition after the Permanent Augmentation will be:

One AC 2-Tier Coach, Three AC 3-Tier Coaches, Ten Sleeper Class Coaches, Four General Second Class Coaches, o­ne Pantry Car  and Two Luggage cum Brake vans with accommodation for differently abled persons.

2.Train No. 22613 / 22614 Rameswaram – Ayodhya Cantonment – Rameswaram Sradhhasethu Weekly Superfast Express will be permanently augmented with  One AC 2-Tier Coach, o­ne Sleeper Class Coach and o­ne General Second Class Coach Ex. Rameswaram with effect from 19th December, 2021 and Ex. Ayodhya Cantonment with effect from 22nd December, 2021.

The revised composition after the Permanent Augmentation will be:

One AC 2-Tier Coach, Three AC 3-Tier Coaches, Eleven Sleeper Class Coaches, Four General Second Class Coaches, o­ne Pantry Car  and Two Luggage cum Brake vans with accommodation for differently abled persons

CR to Run 6 More Ganapati Special Trains Between LTTand Ratnagiri and Augmentation of Dadar – Sawantwadi Tutari Express by 3 Additional Sleeper Class Coaches
Central Railway has decided to run 6 more special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Ratnagiri and augment Dadar – Sawantwadi Tutari Express by 3 Additional Sleeper Class Coaches to clear the extra rush of passengers during Ganpati Festival. The details are as under -
(A) Lokmanya Tilat Terminus – Ratnagiri specials (6)
01227 Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 20.50 hrs on 30.8.2019, 31.8.2019 and 1.9.2019 and arrive Ratnagiri at 06.40 hrs next day.
01228 Special will leave Ratnagiri at 08.00 hrs o­n 31.8.2019, 1.9.2019 and 2.9.2019 and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 16.25 hrs same day.
 Halts: Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Aravali Road and Sangameshwar Road
Composition: o­ne AC-2 Tier, Three AC-3 Tier, 14 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class.
RESERVATION:Bookings for special trains 01227/01228 o­n special charges will open at all PRS centres and o­n website www.irctc.co.in from 30.08.2019.General Second Class in these special trains will run as unreserved coaches and tickets can be booked through UTS system.
(B) Augmentation of Dadar – Sawantwadi Tutari Express by 3 Additional Sleeper Class Coaches
Central Railway has decided to augment Train No. 11003 / 11004 Dadar – Sawantwadi – Dadar Tutari Express by 3 more Sleeper class coaches with immediate effect upto 10.9.2019 to clear the rush of passengers during Ganpati Festival.
Wait listed passengers of Dadar – Sawantwadi Tutari Express are requested to check the reservation status before commencement of journey.

 Temporary Augmentation of Trains with Additional Coaches
In order to provide additional travelling facility for waitlisted passengers, 12 trains are temporarily augmented with additional coaches as detailed below: -
Temporary Augmentation of Trains:
1. Train No. 16381 Mumbai CST – Kanniyakumari Jayanti Janata Express will be augmented with one General Second Class Coach from 26th July to 9th August, 2019.
2. Train No. 16382 Kanniyakumari – Mumbai CST Jayanti Janata Express will be augmented with one General Second Class Coach from 29th July to 12th August, 2019.
3. Train No. 11019 Mumbai CST – Bhubaneswar Konark Express will be augmented with one General Second Class Coach from 26th July to 9th August, 2019.
4. Train No. 11020 Bhubaneswar – Mumbai CST Konark Express will be augmented with one General Second Class Coach from 28th July to 11th August, 2019.
5. Train No. 11301 Mumbai CST – KSR Bengaluru Udyan Express will be augmented with one General Second Class Coach from 27th July to 10th August, 2019.
6. Train No. 11302 KSR Bengaluru – Mumbai CST Udyan Express will be augmented with one General Second Class Coach from 28th July to 11th August, 2019.
7. Train No. 11041 Mumbai CST – Chennai Central Express will be augmented with one Sleeper Class Coach from 26th July to 9th August, 2019.
8. Train No. 11028 Chennai Central – Mumbai CST Express will be augmented with one Sleeper Class Coach from 27th July to 10th August, 2019.
9. Train No. 12486 Shri Ganganagar – H.S. Nanded Express will be augmented with two AC III Tier Coaches from 3rd to 31st August, 2019.
10. Train No. 12485 H.S. Nanded – Shri Ganganagar Express will be augmented with two AC III Tier Coaches from 5th August to 2nd September, 2019.
11. Train No. 12440 Shri Ganganagar – H.S. Nanded Express will be augmented with two AC III Tier Coaches from 2nd to 30th August, 2019.
12. Train No. 12439 H.S. Nanded – Shri Ganganagar Express will be augmented with two AC III Tier Coaches from 4th August to 1st September, 2019.

Southern Railway has decided to run the train No. 22653 / 22654 Thiruvananthapuram Central - H.Nizamuddin - Thiruvananthapuram Central Weekly Express with revised composition. The details are as under :
Existing Composition :
Total = 18 Coaches = 2 tier AC – 01 Coach, 3 tier AC – 01 Coach, Sleeper – 07 Coaches, General – 06 Coaches, SLR – 02 Coaches.
Revised Composition
Total = 19 Coaches : Composite (1st AC + 2 tier AC) – 02 Coaches, 3 tier AC – 01 Coach, Sleeper – 07 Coaches, General – 06 Coaches, SLR – 02 Coaches.
With effect from:
Ex Thiruvananthapuram Central from 05/08/2017.

Special Trains between H.S.Nanded and AJNI augmented with Two more Sleeper Class coaches
Train No.07629/07630 H.S.Nanded - Ajni –H.S.Nanded Special train is augmented with Two more Sleeper Class Coaches in order to clear extra rush of Passengers during summer and other details are mentioned as below.
Accordingly, Train No. 07629 H.S.Nanded - Ajni Special train will depart H.S.Nandedat 22:45 hrs o­n 20th,27thMarch; 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th April; 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th May; 5th, 12th, 19th and 26thJune, 2017 (Mondays) and arrive Ajni at 10:15 hrs o­n the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 07630 Ajni - H.S.Nanded Special train will depart Ajni at 16:15 hrs o­n 21th,28thMarch; 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th April;2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th May; 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th June, 2017 (Tuesdays) and arrive H.S.Nanded at 03:55 hrs o­n the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop Purna, Basmath, Hingoli, Washim, Akola, Murtizapur, Badnera, Chandur, Dhamangaon, Pulgaon and Wardha in both the directions.
These special trains consist of 19 Coaches viz,. o­ne AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Luggage cum Break van coaches.

In order to cater to the extra rush of rail passengers and to enhance the passenger carrying capacity, Railways has decided to augment the 12237/12238 Varanasi-Jammu Tawi-Varanasi Begampura Express ,14650/14649 Amritsar-Jaynagar- Amritsar Saryu Yamuna Express,12428/12427Anand Vihar Terminal-Rewa - Anand Vihar Terminal Express,22407/22408Varanasi - Anand Vihar Terminal - Varanasi Garibrath Express,22412/22411New Delhi-Naharlagun - New Delhi AC Super Fast Express, 22462/22461Shrimata Vaishnodevi Katra-New Delhi - Shrimata Vaishnodevi Katra Shri Shakti Express & 12265/12266 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Jammu Tawi- Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express train on Temporary  basis as per the following programme:
1-The 12237/12238 Varanasi-JammuTawi-Varanasi Begampura Express Train will be augmented by one additional AC three tier coach from 03.03.2017 to 16.03.2017  when departing from Varanasi and from 04.03.2017 to 17.03.2017when departing from Jammu Tawi.
2-The 14650/14649 Amritsar-Jaynagar-Amritsar SaryuYamuna Express Train will be augmented by one additional Sleeper Class coach from 03.03.2017 to 16.03.2017 when departing from Amritsar and from 05.03.2017 to 18.03.2017 when departing from Jaynagar.
3-The 12428/12427 Anand Vihar Terminal-Rewa- Anand Vihar Terminal ExpressTrain will be augmented by one additional Sleeper Class coach from 03.03.2017 to 16.03.2017  when departing from Anand Vihar Terminal and from 04.03.2017 to 17.03.2017 when departing from Rewa.
4-The 22407/22408 Varanasi - Anand Vihar Terminal- Varanasi  Garibrath ExpressTrain will be augmented by one additional AC three tier coach from 05.03.2017 to 16.03.2017  when departing from Varanasi and from 06.03.2017 to 17.03.2017  when departing from Anand Vihar Terminal  .
5-The 22412/22411 New Delhi-Naharlagun - New Delhi AC Super Fast Express Train will be augmented by one additional AC three tier coach from 05.03.2017 to 12.03.2017  when departing from New Delhi and from 07.03.2017 to 14.03.2017 when departing from Naharlagun.
6-The 22462/22461 Shrimata Vaishnodevi Katra-New Delhi- Shrimata Vaishnodevi Katra  Shri Shakti Express Train will be augmented by one additional AC three tier coach from 03.03.2017 to 16.03.2017  when departing from Shrimata Vaishnodevi Katra and from 04.03.2017 to 17.03.2017 when departing from New Delhi.
7-The 12265/12266 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Jammu Tawi - Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express Train will be augmented by one additional AC three tier coach from 03.03.2017 to 14.03.2017  when departing from Delhi Sarai Rohilla and from 04.03.2017 to 15.03.2017 when departing from Jammu Tawi.

The Train No. 16613/14 Coimbatore- Rajkot- Coimbatore weekly Express will be permanently augmented with o­ne additional Sleeper Coach. The Train No. 16613 Rajkot- Coimbatore weekly Express will be permanently augmented with o­ne additional Sleeper Coach with effect from 25thSeptember, 2016 and the Train No. 16614 Coimbatore-Rajkot weekly Express will be permanently augmented with o­ne additional Sleeper Coach with effect from 28thSeptember, 2016.

NEW STOPPAGE OF TRAIN AT JOLARPETTAI

Railways has decided to provide two minute stoppage for Train No. 12889/90 Tatanagar- Yesvantpur – Tatanagarweekly Express at Jolarpettai station. The Train No. 12889 Tatanagar-Yesvantpur arrives Jolarpettai at 01.53 hrs and departures at 01.55 hrs with effect from 9th Octobber 2016 and the Train No. 12890 Yesvantpur – Tatanagar reaches Jolarpettai at 11.20 hrs and leaves at 11.22 hrs with effect from 3rd October 2016.

South Western Railways has decided to permanently augment with one coach for the following trains.

1.Train No. 16229 Mysuru- Varanasi Bi-Weekly Express will be permanently augmented with One additional AC 3-tier Coach & one Sleeper Coach with effect from 2nd August, 2016 and Train No. 16230 Varanasi- Mysuru Bi-Weekly Express will be permanently augmented with One additional AC 3-tier Coach & one Sleeper Coach with effect from 04th August, 2016.

2.Train No. 16591 Hubballi - Mysuru Hampi Daily Express will be permanently augmented with One additional AC 3-tier Coach with effect from 14th September, 2016 and Train No. 16592 Mysuru - Hubballi Hampi Daily Express will be permanently augmented with One additional AC 3-tier Coach with effect from 17th September, 2016.

3.Train No. 16535 Mysuru- Solapur Golgumbaz Daily Express will be permanently augmented with One additional AC 3-tier Coach with effect from 15th September, 2016 and Train No. 16536 Solapur -Mysuru Golgumbaz Daily Express will be permanently augmented with One additional AC 3-tier Coach with effect from 16th September, 2016 and Train

AUGMENTATION OFTRAINS WITH ADDITIONAL COACHES

The Railways has decided to augment following trains with additional coaches.

1.Train No.22683/22684, Yesvantpur-Lucknow-Yesvantpur Weekly Express will be augmented temporarily with One additional Second Class Sleeper Coach with effect from 27th June, 2016 to 19th September, 2016 from Yesvantpur end and 30th June, 2016 to 22nd September, 2016 from Lucknow end.

The revised train composition will have 18 coaches instead of 17 coaches withONE AC 2-tier coach, TWO AC 3-tier coaches, SEVEN Second class Sleeper coaches, SIX General Second Class coaches and TWO Second Class Luggage-cum-Brakevans.

2.Train No. 16591/16592, Hubballi-Mysuru-Hubballi Hampi Express and Train No. 16535/16536, Mysuru-Solapur-Mysuru Golgumbaz Express will beaugmented permanently with One additional AC 3-tier Coach with effect from 26th June, 2016 from Hubballi end and 29th June, 2016 from Mysuru end for Train No.16591/16592, Hubballi-Mysuru-Hubballi Hampi Express; and 27th June, 2016 from Mysuru end and 28th June, 2016 from Solapur end for Train No. 16535/16536, Mysuru-Solapur-Mysuru Golgumbaz Express .

The revised train composition will have 21 coaches instead of 20 coaches with ONE First AC-cum-Second AC Coach, ONE AC 2-tier coach, TWO AC 3-tier coaches, NINE Second class Sleeper coaches, SIX General Second Class coaches, TWO Second Class Luggage-cum-Brakevan/ Luggage-cum-Brakevan -cum-Disabled coaches.

For the convenience of rail passengers and to clear extra rush during Summer Rush-2016, Railway has decided to augment the train nos. 12275/12276 New Delhi- Allahabad-New Delhi Tri-Weekly Duronto Express by o­ne additional AC 2 Tier and o­ne additional Sleeper Class coaches & 14115/14116 Allahabad- Haridwar- Allahabad Tri-Weekly Express by two additional Sleeper Class coaches o­n temporary basis as per the following programme-

·The 12275/12276 New Delhi- Allahabad- New Delhi Tri-Weekly Duronto Express Train  has been augmented by o­ne additional AC 2 Tier and o­ne additional Sleeper Class coaches o­n 19.05, 22.05, 24.05, 26.05, 29.05, 31.05, 02.06, 05.06, 07.06, 09.06, 12.06, 14.06, 16.06, 19.06, 21.06, 23.06, 26.06, 28.06 & 30.06.2016 (19 trips) when departing from Allahabad and o­n 20.05, 23.05, 25.05, 27.05, 30.05, 01.06, 03.06, 06.06, 08.06, 10.06, 13.06, 15.06, 17.06, 20.06, 22.06, 24.06, 27.06, 29.06 & 01.07.2016 (19 trips) when departing from New Delhi.

In order to provide travelling facility for waitlisted passengers, South Central Railway will extend the temporary augmentation of following Trains with additional Coaches from 1stMay to 4th June, 2016, as detailed below:-

The augmentation of Coaches will make available 1116 berths in First AC, 13340 berths in AC II Tier, 14208 berths in AC III Tier, 7632 berths in Sleeper Class, 9052 seats in AC Chair Car totaling to 45348 additional seats /berths generated for clearing extra rush and wait listed passengers.
