ER TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL COACHES FOR POUSH MELA
Kolkata, December 20, 2019:
To cater to the expected rush of visitors during Poush Mela at Bolpur, Eastern Railway's Howrah Division has arranged to attach additional General Second Class/Second Class sitting coach with few Express/Passenger trains from 24.12.2019 to 27.12.2019.
01 (one) Second Class sitting coach each will be attched with 12347/12348 Rampurhat Express, 13015/13016 Howrah-Bhagalpur Kaviguru Express & 13017/13018 Ganadevata Express and 01 (one) General Second Class coach each will be attached with 53063/53064 Barddhaman-Barharwa Passenger & 53043/53044 Howrah-Rajgir Fast Passenger.

Central Railway has decided to augment 11085 / 11086 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Madgaon & 11099/11100 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Madgaon AC Double-Decker Express with seven AC coaches o­n permanent basis.The details are as under:
11085/11086 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Madgaon AC Double-Decker will be augmented with five AC-3 Tier and two AC-2 Tier Ex. Lokmanya Tilak Terminus w.e.f. 9.1.2020 and Ex. Madgaon w.e.f. 10.01.2020.
11099/11100 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Madgaon AC Double-Decker Express will be augmented with five AC-3 Tier and two AC-2 Tier Ex. Lokmanya Tilak Terminus w.e.f. 11.1.2020 and Ex. Madgaon w.e.f. 12.01.2020.

NFR TO ATTACH ADDITIONAL COACHES IN POPULAR TRAINS TO CLEAR PASSENGERS STRANDED DUE TO FLOODS
Flood has affected nearly 30 districts of Assam. As a result of flood, the Road connectivity between upper and lower Assam is also affected resulting into problems of travelling public. Heavy rush has resulted in trains due to disruption of road communication. To mitigate the problem of stranded passengers, N.F. Railway has decided to add additional coaches in some popular trains connecting important cities of upper and lower Assam. The details are as under:-
1. o­ne Second class coach will be added in 
i) 12068/12067- Guwahati - Jorhat Town Jan Shatabdi Express, 
ii) 55725/55726- New Jalpaiguri-Alipurduar Jn passenger, 
iii) 55753/55754- Alipurduar – Guwahati passenger, 
iv) 15717/15718- Guwahati-Mariani passenger, 
v) 55820/55819- Guwahati-Mendipathar passenger from 17 to 24 July, 2019.
2. Two Second class coaches will be added in 
i) 15928/15927- New Tinsukia- Rangiya Express o­n 17,20,21,23, & 24 July, 2019 from New Tinsukia and o­n 19,20,22 & 23 July, 2019 from Rangiya,
 ii) 15968/15967- Dibrugarh- Rangiya Express o­n 18,19 & 22 July, 2019 from Dibrugarh andon 17, 18, 21 & 24 July, 2019 from Rangiya.

WESTERN RAILWAY TO ATTACH ADDITIONAL COACHES IN FIFTY THREE PAIRS OF TRAINS ON TEMPORARY BASIS
Western Railway has decided to augment additional coaches in the following pairs of trains o­n temporary basis, for the convenience of the passengers. The details of which are as under:-
1.Train No. 12905/12906 Porbandar – Howrah Express will be augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach. Ex Porbandar from 02.06.2019 to 30.06.2019 and Ex Howrah from 04.06.2019 to 02.07.2019.
2.Train No. 19037/19038 Bandra Terminus – Gorakhpur Express will be augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach. Ex Bandra Terminus from 02.06.2019 to 30.06.2019 and Ex Gorakhpur from 05.06.2019 to 03.07.2019.
3.Train No. 19039/19040 Bandra Terminus – Muzaffarpur Express will be augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach. Ex Bandra Terminus from 01.06.2019 to 29.06.2019 and Ex Muzaffarpur from 04.06.2019 to 02.07.2019.
4.Train No. 22911/22912 Indore – Howrah Shipra Express will be augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach. Ex Indore from 01.06.2019 to 29.06.2019 and Ex Howrah from 03.06.2019 to 01.07.2019.
5.Train No. 19313/19314 Indore – Rajendranagar Terminus Express has been augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach. Ex Indore from 03.06.2019 to 26.06.2019 and Ex Rajendranagar Terminus from 05.06.2019 to 28.06.2019.
6.Train No. 19321/19322 Indore – Rajendranagar Terminus Express will be augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach. Ex Indore from 01.06.2019 to 29.06.2019and Ex Rajendranagar Terminus from 03.06.2019 to 01.07.2019.
7.Train No. 22944 /22943 Indore – Pune Express will be augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach. Ex Indore from 02.06.2019 to 30.06.2019 and Ex Pune from 03.06.2019 to 01.07.2019.
8.Train No. 19027/19028 Bandra Terminus – Jammu Tawi Express will be augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach and o­ne Sleeper Coach. Ex Bandra Terminus from 01.06.2019 to 29.06.2019 and Ex Jammu Tawi from 03.06.2019 to 01.07.2019.
9.Train No. 22949/22950 Bandra Terminus – Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express will be augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach and o­ne Sleeper Coach. Ex Bandra Terminus from 05.06.2019 to 26.06.2019 and Ex Delhi Sarai Rohilla from 06.06.2019 to 27.06.2019.
10.Train No. 12971/12972 Bandra Terminus – Bhavnagar Express will be augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach. Ex Bandra Terminus from 04.06.2019 to 03.07.2019and Ex Bhavnagar from 01.06.2019 to 30.06.2019.
11.Train No. 19217/19218 Bandra Terminus –Jamnagar Saurashtra Janta Express will be augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach. Ex Bandra Terminus from 02.06.2019 to 01.07.2019and Ex Jamnagar from 03.06.2019 to 02.07.2019.

13.Train No. 22956/22955 Bhuj – Bandra Terminus Kutch Express will be augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach. 14.Train No. 19260/19259 Bhavnagar – Kochuveli Express will be augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach. Ex Bhavnagar from 02.06.2019 to 30.06.2019 and Ex Kochuveli from 06.06.2019 to 04.07.2019.
15.Train No. 19568/19567 Okha – Tuticorin Vivek Express will be augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach. Ex Okha o­n 06.06.2019 to 27.06.2019and Ex Tuticorin o­n 09.06.2019 to 30.06.2019 .
16.Train No. 22969/22970 Okha - Varanasi Express will be augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach. Ex Okha from 06.06.2019 to 27.06.2019 and Ex Varanasi from 08.06.2019 to 29.06.2019.

20.Train No. 22931/22932 Bandra Terminus – Jaisalmer Superfast Express will be augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach and o­ne Sleeper Coach. Ex Bandra Terminus from 07.06.2019 to 28.06.2019 and Ex Jaisalmer from 08.06.2019 to 29.06.2019.

WESTERN RAILWAY HAS DECIDED TO ATTACH ADDITIONAL COACHES IN 29 PAIRS OF TRAINS ON TEMPORARY BASIS
For the convenience of passengers and to clear extra rush, Western Railway has decided to augment additional coaches in the following pairs of trains o­n temporary basis. The details of which are as under:-
1.Train No. 12961/12962 Mumbai Central – Indore Avantika Express will be augmented with an additional AC 2-Tier cum 3-Tier coach. Ex Mumbai Central from 01.01.2019 to 31.01.2019 and Ex Indore from 02.01.2019 to 01.02.2019.
2.Train No. 12927/12928 Mumbai Central – Vadodara Express will be augmented with an additional AC 3-Tier coach. Ex Mumbai Central from 02.01.2019 to 01.02.2019 and Ex Vadodara from 01.01.2019 to 31.01.2019.

Indian Railways provide exclusive coaches that can be attached to regular trains for large groups travelling together and availing the convenience of travelling according to one’s own itinerary. These tourist cars are available in second class, Sleeper class, first class &
Air conditioned classes. Special coaches can not be attached to certain trains due to operational restrictions.Applications for such coaches must reach the Chief Passenger Transportation Manager in the zonal headquarters of the tour
originating station, at least 60 days in advance and not more than six months prior to the commencement of the journey. The application must include details such as destination, route to be followed , halts enroute and the specific train to which the tourist car/
railway carriage is to be attached. An initial payment of Rs. 10,000/- per coach as security deposit is to be made to the Station Manager of the originating station. In special cases, coaches can be arranged at shorter notice with the approval of the competent
authority.

EXTRA COACHES IN TWO PRIME TRAINS
Rajdhani Express is Railway’s flagship train here in Bhubaneswar. Among Inter City trains, Bhubaneswar-Balangir Inter City Express gets pride of place. Due to public demand and gauging the passenger profile, 
East Coast Railway has decided to augment these two important trains with an extra coach each o­n permanent basis.
It has been decided to augment o­ne additional AC-3 Tier coach in Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, permanently w.e.f. 1stAugust, 2018 o­nwards. 22811 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express via Adra from Bhubaneswar w.e.f. 1st August, 2018; 22823 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express via Tata from Bhubaneswar w.e.f. 2nd August, 2018 and 20817 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express via Sambalpur City-Jharsuguda-Rourkela from Bhubaneswar w.e.f. 4th August, 2018 will be augmented with o­ne additional AC-3 tier coach each.
Similarly, 12893/12894 Bhubaneswar-Balangir-Bhubaneswar Inter City Express has also been augmented with o­ne additional 2nd Class Chair Car Coach, permanently w.e.f. 1stApril, 2018.
WAIT LIST POSITION IN TRAINS BEING CLOSELY MONITORED
Apart from this, ECoR is also augmenting additional coaches temporarily and permanently in different important trains towards different destinations of the country from its jurisdiction according to feasibility and demands from the passengers. Based o­n an analysis of the Passenger Traffic Profile o­n various routes, temporary augmentation of coaches in several Express trains is being done by attaching additional coaches.
