Christmas and New Year Weekly Specials between Panvel and Madgaon

Railways have decided to run fully reserved weekly special trains between Panvel and Madgaon to clear the extra rush of passengers during Christmas and New Year as per details given below:

01595 special will leave Panvel at 06.05 hrs o­n every Monday from 22.11.2021 to 3.1.2022 and arrive Madgaon at 18.45 hrs same day.

01596 special will leave Madgaon at 16.00 hrs o­n every Sunday from 21.11.2021 to 2.1.2022 and arrive Panvel at 03.15 hrs next day.

Halts: Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim, Karmali

Composition: o­ne first AC cum AC-2 Tier, Two AC-2 Tier, Six AC-3 Tier, 6 Sleeper Class, 4 second class seating and o­ne Pantry Car.

Reservation: Bookings for fully reserved special train No. 01595 o­n special charges will open o­n 20.11.2021 at all computerised reservation centres and o­n website www.irctc.co.in.

SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN MANGALORE CENTRAL AND MADGAON

As approved by Railway Board, the following reserved specials will run as per details below:-

Train No.06602 / 06601 Mangalore Central - Madgaon – Mangalore Central Daily Special Train:

Train No. 06602 Mangalore Central – Madgaon Daily Special Train will leave Mangalore Central at 05.30 hrs o­n and from 16th August, 2021 and reach Madgaon at 14.00 hrs (at 13.10 hrs Non-Monsoon) the same day until further advice

In return direction, Train No. 06601 Madgaon - Mangalore Central Daily Special Train will leave Madgaon at 14.30 hrs (at 14.00 hrs Non-Monsoon) o­n and from 16th August, 2021 and reach Mangalore Central at 21.40 hrs (at 21.05 hrs Non-Monsoon) the same day until further advice

Composition:  Ten General Second Class Coaches and Two Luggage cum Brake Vans

Fully Air-conditioned Weekly Special Trains between Nagpur and Madgaon

Railways have decided to run fully air-conditioned weekly special trains between Nagpur and Madgaon to clear the extra rush of passengers as per details given below:

  • 01237 AC weekly special will leave Nagpur every Saturday at 15.50 hrs from 20.2.2021 to 27.3.2021 and arrive Madgaon at 16.40 hrs next day.
  • 01238 AC weekly special will leave Madgaon every Sunday at 19.40 hrs from 21.2.2021 to 28.3.2021 and arrive Nagpur at 20.30 hrs next day.
  • Halts: Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Bhusaval, Nasik Road, Kalyan, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim and Karmali.
  • Composition: 13 AC-3Tier

Reservation: Bookings for fully reserved AC special train no. 01237 on special charges with ARP of 10 days, will open from 17.02.2021 at all computerised reservation centres and o­n website www.irctc.co.in.

Railways will extend the run of festival special trains between Mumbai and Madgaon as per details given below:

1) 01111/01112 CSMT-Madgaon Daily Festival Special

  • 01111 Festival special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 23.05 hrs daily from 1.4.2021 to 9.6.2021 and arrive Madgaon at 10.45 hrs next day.
  • 01112 Festival special will leave Madgaon at 18.00 hrs daily from 1.4.2021 to 8.6.2021 and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 5.50 hrs next day.

2)  01113/01114 CSMT-Madgaon Daily Festival Special

1) Mumbai- Madgaon Festival Specials (150 Trips)

01112 festival special will leave Madgaon daily at 18.00 hrs from 01.11.2020 to 14.01.2021 (75 Trips) and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 05.50 hrs next day.

01111 festival special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus daily at 23.05 hrs from 2.11.2020 to 15.01.2021 (75 Trips) and arrive Madgaon at 10.45 hrs next day.

Halts: Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Pernem, Thivim, and Karmali

Vistadome Coach to promote Tourism

Vistadome Coach to promote Tourism
Two Vistadome Coaches are being operated by IR, one in Vishakhapatnam - Araku Sector by train no. 58501-58502 Vishakhapatnam Kirandul Passenger and other in Mumbai - Madgaon Sector by train no. 11051-11052 Dadar Madgaon Janshatabdi Express. The Occupancy of the Vistadome coach running on Vishakhapatnam - Araku Sector is 99.34% for the period from 01.04.2019 to 31.12.2019, while that of Mumbai - Madgaon Sector ranges from 62.21% to 98.19% during the same period.
The facilities provided are adequate and include wide windows, observation window at one end, roof with glass look out with controlled opalescence, rotatable seats, passenger information system, automatic sliding doors, mini pantry, wide door for divyang, etc.
Apart from standard safety arrangements, the Glass used in Vistadome coaches are shatter resistant with a film coating for safety of passengers.
Additional 10 Vistadome Coaches have been planned for production program of 2019-20.
This information was given by the Minister of Railways and Commerce & Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha.

Central Railway has decided to augment 11085 / 11086 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Madgaon & 11099/11100 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Madgaon AC Double-Decker Express with Three additional AC 3-Tier coaches o­n Temporary basis to clear the extra rush of passengers during winter and Christmas 2019.The details are as under:
  • 11085/11086 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Madgaon AC Double-Decker Express will be augmented with Three AC 3-Tier coaches Ex. Lokmanya Tilak Terminus w.e.f. 23.12.2019 to 9.1.2020 and Ex. Madgaon w.e.f. 24.12.2019 to 10.1.2020.
  • 11099/11100 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Madgaon AC Double-Decker Express will be augmented with Three AC 3-Tier coaches Ex. Lokmanya Tilak Terminus w.e.f. 21.12.2019 to 11.1.2020 and Ex. Madgaon w.e.f. 22.12.2019 to 12.1.2020.
Reservation: Booking for these additional AC coaches is already openat all PRS locations, through Internet and o­n IRCTC Website www.irctc.co.in. Passengers are requested to please note and avail the facility.

Good news for passengers !!! It has been decided to run additional special trains between Madgaon and Panvel to clear extra rush of passengers during Summer holidays in co-ordination with Central Railway. Details are as follows :
1) Train No. 00104 / 00103 Madgaon – Panvel – Madgaon Special :
Train No. 00104 Madgaon - Panvel Special will leave from Madgaon at 12:30 hrs every  Friday, from 17th May to 31st May 2019. Train will reach Panvel at 23:05 hrs on the same day.
Train No. 00103 Panvel – Madgaon Special will leave from Panvel at 23:55 hrs every Friday from 17th May to 31st May 2019 . Train will reach Madgaon at 10:25 hrs on the next day. 
The train will halt at Thivim, Kudal, Kankavali, Ratnagiri, Chiplun and Roha stations.
Composition : Total 22 LHB Coaches = 3 Tier AC – 01 Coach, Sleeper – 13 Coaches, General – 05 Coaches, Pantry Car – 01 Coach, Generator car  – 02.
2) Train No. 00112 / 00111 Madgaon – Panvel - Madgaon Special :

Good news for passengers!! It has been decided to run Super fast  special train between  Pune Junction  -  Madgaon Junction  in co-ordination with Central Railway to clear extra rush of passengers. The details are as follows:-
1) Train No. 02011 Pune Junction – Madgaon Junction One Way Special.
Train No. 02011 Super Fast Special will leave from Pune Junction at 18:45 Hrs on 08/06/2018 (Friday) one trip. Train will reach Madgaon at 06:05 Hrs on next day.
The Train will halt at Lonavala, Panvel, Roha, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Sawantwadi and Karmali stations.
Composition: Total 15 Coaches = 2S - 11 Coach, Chair Car - 02 Coach, SLR – 02 Coach.

Running of Diwali Special Trains Over Konkan Railway

Good news for passengers !! It has been decided to run special trains between Mumbai CSMT – Kochuveli – Mumbai CSMT to clear extra rush of passengers during Diwali festival. Details are as under:
Train No. 01079 / 01080 Mumbai CSMT – Kochuveli – Mumbai CSMT Special :
  • Train No. 01079 Mumbai CSMT – Kochuveli  Special will leave from Mumbai CSMT at 00:20 Hrs on Tuesday (on 17/10/2017 & 24/10/2017). Train will reach  Kochuveli at 09:00 Hrs on next day.
  • Train No. 01080 Kochuveli - Mumbai CSMT Special will leave from Kochuveli at 12:00 Hrs on Wednesday (on 18/10/2017 & 25/10/2017). Train will reach Mumbai CSMT at 22:15 Hrs on next day.
  • The Train will halt at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavli, Kudal, Thivim, Karmali, Madgaon Jn., Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki, Suratkal, Mangalore Jn., Kasargod, Kannur, Thalassery, Kozhikkode, Tirur, Shoranur Jn., Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayankulam and Kollam  stations.
  • Composition: Total 16 Coaches : Sleeper - 14 Coaches, SLR – 02 Coach.
Passengers may avail the services.

Good news for passengers !!! It has decided to attach one Glass top coach (Vista Dome) to Train No. 12051 / 12052 Dadar - Madgaon - Dadar “Janashatadbi” Express from 18/09/2017 (Monday) ex Dadar on Permanent basis.Details are as under :
During Monsoon Timetable :
  • 12051 Dadar – Madgaon Janashatabdi Express on every Monday, Thursday and Saturday from 18/09/2017 to 30/10/2017.
  • 12052 Madgaon – Dadar Janashatabdi Express on every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from 19/09/2017 to 31/10/2017.

During Non – Monsoon Timetable:
  • 12051 /12052 Dadar – Madgaon – Dadar Janashatabdi Express Six days a week (Except Wednesday) from 02/11/2017.

WESTERN RLY TO RUN GANAPATI SPECIAL TRAINS FROM MUMBAI CENTRAL, BANDRA TERMINUS & AHMEDABAD
For the convenience of passengers during Ganapati Festival and to clear the extra rush during the season, Western Rly will run the following Special trains for which the fares chargeable will be inclusive of special charges.
·09001/ 09002 Mumbai Central-Mangalore Jn-Mumbai Central [Weekly] Special Train o­n Special fare[4 trips]
Train No. 09001 Mumbai Central - Mangalore [Weekly] Special Train will leave Mumbai Central at 23.15 hrs o­n Wednesday, and will reach Vasai Road at 00.30 hrs o­n Thursday and will arrive Mangalore Jn at 19.30 hrs, the next day (Thursday). This train will run o­n 23rd & 30th August, 2017.
Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09002 Mangalore Jn - Mumbai Central [Weekly]    Special Train will leave Mangalore Jn at 22.30 hrs o­n Thursday, and will reach Vasai Road at 16.30 hrs o­n Friday and will arrive Mumbai Central at 18.25 hrs, the next day (Friday). This train will run o­n 24th & 31st August, 2017.
The train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier and Sleeper Class Coaches.
The train will halt at Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap, Sawantwadi Road, Madure, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi and Mulki stations in both directions.

Train No. 09009 Bandra (T) – Karmali [Tri – Weekly] Special Train will leave Bandra Terminus at 23.35 hrs o­n Sunday, Tuesday & Friday and will reach Vasai Roadat 01.05 hrs o­n Monday, Wednesday & Saturday and will arrive Karmali at 15.00 hrs, the next day (Monday, Wednesday & Saturday). This train will run o­n 20th, 22nd, 25th, 27th & 29th August and 1st & 3rd September, 2017.
Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09010 Karmali – Bandra (T) [Tri – Weekly] Special Train will leave Karmali at 20.30 hrs o­n Monday, Wednesday & Saturday and will reach Vasai Road at 09.20 hrs o­n Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday and will arrive Bandra Terminus at 11.05 hrs the next day (Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday). This train will run o­n 21st, 23rd, 26th, 28th & 30th August and 2nd & 4thSeptember, 2017.
The train will have AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and IInd Class General Coaches.

Train No.09007 Mumbai Central – Madgaon [Bi – Weekly] Special Train will leave Mumbai Central at 12.45 hrs o­n Mondays & Wednesdays from 21st August to 4th September, 2017 and will reach Madgaon at 03.50 hrs, o­n the next day.
Similarly, in return direction Train No.09008 Madgaon – Mumbai Central [Bi – Weekly]  Special Train will leave Madgaon at 17.25 hrs o­n Tuesdays & Thursdays from 22nd August, 2017 to 5th September, 2017 and will arrive Mumbai Central at 09.05 hrs o­n the next day.
The train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier and Sleeper Class Coaches.

Train No. 09416 Ahmedabad – Karmali [Bi-Weekly] Special Train will leave Ahmedabad at 16.00 hrs o­n Monday & Thursday and will reach Vasai Road at 01.00 hrs o­n Tuesday & Friday and will arrive Karmali at 15.00 hrs, the next day (Tuesday & Friday). This train will run o­n 21st, 24th, 28th & 31st August and 4th September, 2017.
Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09415 Karmali – Ahmedabad [Bi-Weekly] Special Train will leave Karmali at 20.30 hrs o­n Tuesday & Friday, and will reach Vasai Road at 9.20 hrs o­n Wednesday & Saturday and will arrive Ahmedabad at 18.30 hrs, the next day (Wednesday & Saturday). This train will run o­n 22nd, 25th & 29th August and 1st & 5thSeptember, 2017.
The train will have AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and IInd Class General Coaches.
The train will halt at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Vapi, Dahanu Road, Boisar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Savarde, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap, Sawantwadi Road, Madure and Thivim stations in both directions.
The booking for Train no. 09001, 09009, 09007 & 09416 will open from 15th July, 2017 at all PRS counters and IRCTC website.
