MEMU TRAIN BETWEEN PURI AND ANGUL TO BE INTRODUCED FROM 10TH JULY, 2018
East Coast Railway has decided to implement MEMU service between Puri & Angul and Sambalpur & Rourkela.
MEMU Train between Puri and Angul will replace 58421/58422 Angul-Puri-Angul passenger.
After implementation of MEMU service between Puri and Angul, Train number to be changed to 68421/68422 Angul-Puri-Angul MEMU instead of 58421/58422 Angul-Puri-Angul passenger.
This is completely new rake made by Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala.
68421/68422 Angul-Puri-Angul MEMU will run daily except on Monday from Puri and on Tuesday from Angul.
58422 Puri-Angul passenger will leave Puri on Monday and 58421 Angul-Puri Passenger will leave on Tuesday only.
68421/68422 Angul-Puri-Angul MEMU will run as per the timings of 58421/58422 Angul-Puri-Angul passenger.
This is the second MEMU Train to run in this region.
Apart from This, 78103/78104 Rourkela-Sambalpur-Rourkela DUMU passenger has also been replaced with MEMU Train w.e.f. 9th July, 2018.
Rourkela-Sambalpur-Rourkela MEMU will run with train number 68027/68028 Rourkela-Sambalpur-Rourkela MEMU.
58135/58136 & 58137/58138 Jharsuguda-Sambalpur-Jharsuguda Passengers will be replaced with MEMU Train with revised number 68033/68034 & 68031/68032 Jharsuguda-Sambalpur-Jharsuguda MEMU.
58133/58134 Rourkela-Jharsuguda-Rourkela passenger will replace by 68029/68030 Rourkela-Jharsuguda-Rourkela MEMU.
68027/68028 Rourkela-Sambalpur-Rourkela MEMU will run with revised timings between Rourkela & Sambalpur from both the directions.
68027 Rourkela-Sambalpur MEMU will leave Rourkela at 0720hrs will arrive at Sambalpur at 1045hrs. In the return direction, 68028 Sambalpur-Rourkela MEMU will leave Sambalpur at 1110hrs and will arrive at Rourkela at 1445hrs.

Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express via Angul-Sambalpur City-Jharsuguda & Rourkela will be introduced on 10thFebruary, 2018.
Train Number 20817 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express via Angul & Sambalpur City will leave Bhubaneswar at 0710hrs on every Saturday w.e.f. 10thFebruary, 2018 and will reach at New Delhi at 1040hrs on the next days. This train will run as20817/20818 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express via Sambalpur City & Jharsuguda w.e.f.10th February, 2018fromBhubaneswar&w.e.f 11th February, 2018 from New Delhi.
- 20817 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express via Sambalpur City & Jharsuguda will leave Bhubaneswar at 0710hrs on every Saturday and will reach at New Delhi at 1040hrs on Sundays. In the return direction,

22811/22812 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express via Bhadrak will run twice a week i.e., on every Wednesday & Sunday from Bhubaneswar and on every Monday & Friday from New Delhi instead of earlier three days in a week and will run as per its scheduled stoppages & timings.

Trains Cancelled, Rescheduled Due To Heavy Rains In Rayagada
Rayagada: Railway services have been hit due to heavy rain causing flood like situation in Odisha. Railway Bridge Number 585 between Theruvali & Singapur Road Railway Stations in Titlagarh-Rayagada Railway Section in Rayagada district has been washed out due to the rain today.
As a result many train services were controlled, short terminated and cancelled. At least eight trains were controlled en route out of which four were short terminated and two other trains were cancelled.
Below are the details of the changed schedule;

26 Special Trains between Sambalpur and Banaswadi via Vijayawada
In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, 26 special trains will be run between Sambalpur and Banaswadi via Vijayawada as detailed below:-
Accordingly,Train No. 08301 Sambalpur - Banaswadi Weekly Special Train will depart Sambalpur at 09:30 hrs on 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th July, 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th August, 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th September, 2017 (Wednesdays) and arrive Banaswadi at 16:40 hrs on the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 08302 Banaswadi - Sambalpur Weekly Special Train will depart Banaswadi at 00:30 hrs on 7th, 14th, 21st, 28thJuly, 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th August, 1st , 8th, 15th ,22nd and 29thSeptember, 2017 (Fridays)and arrive Sambalpur at 06:35 hrs on the next day.
Enroute these weekly trains will stop at Bargarh Road, Balangir, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Raygada, Vizianagaram,Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai and Krishnarajapuram stations in both the directions.
These special trains will have 18 coaches viz, one AC II Tier, three AC III Tier, ten Sleeper Class, two General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

Due modernization work for Limited Height Subway (LHS) between Deogaon-Saintala of Sambalpur Division on 08.06.2017 (Thursday), Following Trains are affected:
Short Termination:
12893 Bhubaneswar-Bolangir Express leaving Bhubaneswar on 08.06.2017 (Thursday) will short-terminated at Sambalpur and return as 12894 Bolangir-Bhubaneswar Express. Service of 12893/12894 Bhubaneswar-Bolangir-Bhubaneswar will remain cancel between Sambalpur and Bolangir.
Re-scheduling :
1.58302 Koraput-Sambalpur passenger scheduled to leave Koraput at 02 55 hrs on 08.06.2017 will be rescheduled by 01.35 hrs.
2.58304 Junagarh-Sambalpur passenger scheduled to leave Junagarh at 09 45 hrs on 08.06.2017 will be rescheduled by 01.15 hrs.

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers during summer, thirty six suvidha weekly special trains will be run between Sambalpur and Yesvantpur as detailed below:-
Train No. 82831 Sambalpur - Yesvantpur Suvidha Weekly Special Train will depart Sambalpur at 9.30 hrs on 01st, 08th, 15th, 22nd, 29th March; 05th, 12th, 19th, 26th April; 03rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st May and 07th, 14th, 21stand 28th June, 2017(Wednesdays) and arrive Yesvantpur at 16:40 hrs on Thursday.
In the return direction, Train No. 82832 Yesvantpur - Sambalpur Suvidha Weekly Special Train will depart Yesvantpur at 00:30 hrs on 03rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st March; 07th, 14th, 21th, 28th April; 05th, 12th, 19th, 26thMay and 02nd, 09th, 16th, 23rd and 30thJune, 2017 (Fridays) and arrive Sambalpur at 06:35 hrs on the Saturday.
