Running of Mumbai-Asansol weekly special train

Railways will run weekly special train between Mumbai and Asansol as per details given below:

02361 special will leave Asansol at 19.45 hrs o­n every Sunday from 7.2.2021 till further advice and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 06.00 hrs o­n third day.

02362 special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 11.05 hrs o­n every Wednesday from 10.2.2021 till further advice and arrive Asansol at 20.30 hrs next day.

Halts: Dadar, Kalyan, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, PrayagrajChheoki, Mirzapur, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn., Buxar, Patna Jn., Kiul Jn., Jhajha, Jasidih Jn., Madhupur Jn., Chittaranjan

Composition: o­ne AC-2 Tier, Three AC-3 Tier, 13 Sleeper class, 7 second class seating

Reservation: Bookings for fully reserved special train 02362 o­n normal fare will open from 3.2.2021 at all computerised reservation centres and o­n website www.irctc.co.in.

To clear the extra rush of the passenger, Eastern Railway will run 18 pairs of Asansol – Malda Town – Asansol Bi-weekly special train (03518/03517) leaving Malda Town and Asansol o­n every Monday & Thursday between 30.1.2020 & 30.3.2020.
03518 Asansol – Malda Town special will leave Asansol at 7.50 hrs. to reach Malda Town at 14.00 hrs. and 03517 Malda Town Asansol special will leave Malda Town at 14.45 hrs. to reach Asansol at 21.25 hrs.
The special train will have general second class and second class sitting accommodation.

Train No.06017 Coimbatore - Asansol special fare special train will leave Coimbatore at 21.45 hrs. o­n 07th,14th,21st  and 28th December 2019  (Saturdays) and reach Asansol at 10.30 hrs o­n Monday. (4 services)

  • 03509 Asansol – Patna special will leave Asansol at 7.55 hrs. o­n every Monday between 16.12.2019 and 27.1.2020 to reach Patna at 14.05 hrs. o­n those days and 03510 Patna – Asansol special will leave Patna at 14.55 hrs. o­n every Monday between 16.12.2019 and 27.1.2020 to reach Asansol at 21.45 hrs. o­n those days.
  • The train will have air-condition, sleeper class and general second class coach.
  • 03511 Asansol – Patna special will leave Asansol at 7.55 hrs. o­n every Wednesday between 11.12.2019 and 29.1.2020 to reach Patna at 14.05 hrs. o­n those days and 03512 Patna – Asansol special will leave Patna at 14.55 hrs. o­n every Wednesday between 11.12.2019 and 29.1.2020 to reach Asansol at 21.45 hrs. o­n those days.

To clear the rush of passengers in the forthcoming summer season, Eastern Railway will run 100 summer special trains o­n various routes.
03135/03136 Kolkata-Chhapra-Asansol Summer Special trains (26trips)
03135 will leave Kolkata station o­n Mondays at 20.05 hrs. from 02.04.2018 to 25.06.2018 and reach Chhapra at 10.00 hrs. o­n the next day. 03136 will leave Chhapra o­n Tuesdays at 13.20 hr. from 03.4.2018 to 26.6.2018 and terminate at Asansol at 01.10 hrs. o­n the next day.
The summer special trains will have AC classes, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.
03043/03044 Howrah-Raxaul-Asansol weekly Summer Special(26 trips)
03043 will leave Howrah o­n Fridays at 15.00 hrs. from 6.4.2018 to 29.6.2018 and reach Raxaul at 10.00 hrs. o­n the next day. 03044 will leave Raxaul at 12.00 hrs. o­n Saturdays from 7.4.2018 to 30.6.2018 and terminate at Asansol at 23.45 hrs. o­n the same day.
The summer special trains will have AC classes, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.
03511/03512 Asansol-Patna Jn. Weekly Summer Special ( 22 trips)
03511/03512 will leave Asansol & Patna o­n Sundays from 15.04.2018 to 24.6.2018 at 7.15 hs. & 15.10 hrs. respectively and reach Patna Jn. & Asansol at 14.00 hrs. & 22.00 hrs. respectively o­n the same day
The summer special trains will have General Second Class and second class seating coaches..
03427/03428 Malda-Haridwar Weekly Summer Special via Sultanpur (26 trips)
03427 will leave Malda o­n Mondays from 02.4.2018 to 25.6.2018 at 9.05 hrs. and 03428 will leave Haridwar o­n Tuesdays from 03.4.2018 to 26.6.2018 at 16.05 hrs.
The summer special trains will have AC classes, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.

To cope up with the expected rush of passengers during ensuing Puja festival, Eastern Railway will run 106 Puja Specials for different directions between Sealdah & Ajmer, Sealdah & Anand Vihar, Howrah & Raxaul, Kolkata & Chhapra, Asansol & Patna, Malda Town & Haridwar, Kolkata & Lucknow and Howrah & Jammu Tawi. As a result, 77,772 berths and 4320 seats will be generated for the travelling public during the ensuing pujas.
  • Out of 106 Puja Specials, 12 between Sealdah & Ajmer, 12 between Sealdah & Anand Vihar, 14 between Howrah & Raxaul, 14 between Kolkata & Chhapra, 10 between Asansol & Patna, 14 between Malda Town & Haridwar, 18 between Kolkata & Lucknow and 12 between Howrah & Jammu Tawi will be run. The trains will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class and Air-Conditioned coaches.
  • 02263/02264 Sealdah – Ajmer – Sealdah weekly special via Dankuni will leave Sealdah on every Tuesday between 26.9.2017 & 31.10.2017 and will leave Ajmer o­n every Thursday between 28.9.2017 & 2.11.2017. The train will have AC 2-tier & AC 3-tier accommodation.
  • 02265/02266 Sealdah – Anand Vihar - Sealdah weekly special via Dankuni will leave Sealdah on every Saturday between 23.9.2017 & 28.10.2017 and will leave Anand Vihar between 24.9.2017 & 29.10.2017. The train will have AC 2-tier and AC 3-tier accommodation.

  • 04205/04206 Kolkata – Lucknow – Kolkata weekly special via Bandel will leave Kolkata on every Tuesday between 5.9.2017 & 31.10.2017 and will leave Lucknow o­n every Monday between 4.9.2017 & 30.10.2017. The train will have general second class, sleeper class, AC 1st class-cum-AC 2-tier & AC 3-tier accommodation.

Trains Diverted due to Floods in Sambalpur Division
Due to water flowing above danger level in Rayagada-Titlagarh Section of Sambalpur Division of East Coast Railwaythe following trains are diverted as detailed below:-
1)Train No. 12835/12836 Hatia-Yeshvantpur-Hatia is diverted to run via Bilaspur,Raipur,Nagpur, Ballarshah and Vijayawada  stations (instead of Titlagarh, Visakhapatnam) in both the directions Upto 06/08/2017.
2)Train No. 12376/12375 Asansol-Chennai Central-Asansol is diverted to run via Bilaspur,Raipur,Nagpur, Ballarshah and Vijayawada  stations (instead of Titlagarh, Visakhapatnam) in both the directions Upto 06/08/2017.
3)Train No. 12889/12890 TataNagar-Yeshvantpur-TataNagar is diverted to run via Bilaspur, Raipur, Nagpur, Ballarshah and Vijayawada  stations (instead of Titlagarh, Visakhapatnam) in both the directions Upto 06/08/2017.
4)Train No. 18637/18638 Hatia-Yeshvantpur-Hatia is diverted to run via Bilaspur, Raipur, Nagpur, Ballarshah and Vijayawada  stations (instead of Titlagarh, Visakhapatnam) in both the directions Upto 06/08/2017.

8)Train No. 17481 Bilaspur-Tirupati is diverted to run via Raipur,Gondia, Ballarshah and Vijayawada  stations (instead of Titlagarh, Visakhapatnam) o­n 05/08/2017 and 08/08/2017.

To cope with the expected rush of passengers during ensuing EID-UL-FITRE festival, Eastern Railway will run 2 pairs of Specials for different directions viz.  Howrah-Raxaul-Asansol Special and Howrah- Nautanwa Special.
  • 03043 Up Howrah-RaxualSpecialwill leave Howrah at 15.00 hrs. on 23.06.2017 and reach Raxaul at 10.00 hrs. the next day.03044 Dn Raxual-AsansolSpecialwill leave Raxual at 12.00 hrs. on 24.06.2017 and reach Asansol at 23.45 hrs. the same day.
  • 03067 Up Howrah-NautanwaSpecialwill leave Howrah at 22.50 hrs. on 24.06.2017 and reach Nautanwa at 22.30 hrs. the next day.03068 Dn Nautanwa-HowrahSpecialwill leave Nautanwa at 23.45 hrs. on 25.06.2017 and reach Howrah at 20.15 hrs. the next day.

As a part of the o­ngoing round the year cleanliness drive aiming at a cleaner and greener environment, Eastern Railway has adopted a series of measures including o­n-board housekeeping services (OBHS), solar lights at level crossing gates, bio-toilets in different trains and mechanized laundries.

At present, 74 trains (Howrah – 26, Sealdah – 36, Asansol – 3 and Malda – 9) are covered under OBHS for cleanliness of trains. During 2016-17, 11 more trains are likely to be covered under OBHS.

At present, 251 level crossing gates (Asansol-65, Howrah-52, Malda-74 and Sealdah-60) have been electrified with 74WP solar module (SPV). More level crossing gates will also be electrified with solar lighting system in near future.

Presently, 562 coaches (in 14 rakes of 9 trains) have been covered with bio-toilets. Total 2015 bio-toilets were retrofitted.

Apart from these, 3 mechanized laundries o­ne each Sealdah, Howrah and Malda are operating under the jurisdiction of this Railway and the combined capacity of these laundries are 10 tonnes per day.

Eastern Railway is committed to provide passengers/rail users a cleaner and hygienic environment in trains, platforms, Railway premises and different offices and all out effort will be on towards this direction.

PAEDIATRIC WARD WITH SICK NEW BORN CARE UNIT SET UP AT ASANSOL RAILWAY HOSPITAL
Kolkata, 7 November, 2016:

A six bedded paediatric ward along with two-bedded sick new born care unit has been set up at Divisional Railway Hospital, Eastern Railway, Asansol.

The basic objective behind setting up the new born care unit is to reduce the case of fatality among sick new-borns either born within the hospital or outside including home delivery. It also extends clinical care for sick neonates to bring down the neonatal mortality rate. Strengthening the new born clinical services within the health care system of Asansol Railway Hospital of Eastern Railway is much needed component of a comprehensive intervention for reducing neonatal deaths.

This Sick New-born Care Unit will also act as the teaching and training hub for imparting the skills of new-born care.

This facility is second in Eastern Railway next to B. R. Singh Hospital, Sealdah.

South Central Railway to Run Two Superfast Special Trains

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, SCR will run o­ne Superfast special train from Vijayawada to Asansol and o­ne Superfast Special train from Vijayawada to Ahmedabad o­n 5th December, 2015 as detailed below:-

I.Special Train from Vijayawada to Asansol:-

Train No. 02375 Vijayawada to Asansol Superfast Special Train will depart Vijayawada at 21:55 hrs today, i.e., 5th December, 2015 and arrive Asansol at 21:55 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute this special train will stop at Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Bobbili, Parvatipuram, Rayagada, Muniguda, Kesinga, Titlagarh, Bolangir, Bargarh Road, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Charkradharpur, Purlia Jn and Joychandi Pahar stations.

This special train will consist of 22 coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, four AC III Tier, nine Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Luggage cum brake van coaches.

II.Special Train from Vijayawada to Ahmedabad:-

Train No. 07204 Vijayawada- Ahmedabad Superfast Special Train will depart Vijayawada at 16:45 hrs today, i.e., 5thDecember, 2015 and arrive Ahmedabad at 18:45 hrs o­n the next day.
Enroute this special train will stop at Khammam, Mahbubabad, Warangal, Manchiryal, Sirpur-Kagaznagar, Balharshah, Chandrapur, Warara, Hinganghat, Wardha, Dhamangaon, Badnera, Murtajapur, Akola, Shegaon, Nandura, Malkapur, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Amalner, Dondaicha, Nandurbar, Vyara, Udhna, Surat, Ankleshwar, Vadodara, Anand, Nandiad and Maninagar stations.

This special train will consist of 24 coaches viz., o­ne AC First Class cum AC II Tier, o­ne AC II Tier, four AC III Tier, twelve Sleeper Class, three General Second Class, o­ne Pantry Car and two Luggage cum Brake van coaches.

In view of traffic-cum-power block for developmental maintenance work o­n Adityapur - Gamharia Section  of Chakradharpur Division, following train services will be regulated o­n 02-08-2015 (Sunday) and 09-08-2015 (Sunday):-

SHORT TERMINATION/SHORT ORIGINATION  OF TRAINS o­n 02-08-2015 (SUNDAY) AND 09-08-2015 (SUNDAY) :

58662 Hatia-Tatanagar Passenger will be short terminated at Gamharia and will run as 58661 Tatanagar-Hatia Passenger from Gamharia. Hence, the services of 58662/58661 will remain cancelled between Gamharia-Tatanagar-Gamharia.

RESCHEDULING OF TRAIN o­n 02-08-2015 (SUNDAY) AND 09-08-2015 (SUNDAY) :

13302 Tatanagar-Dhanbad Subarnarekha Express will be rescheduled to leave Tatanagar at 14.00 hrs. instead of 13.20 hrs.

TRAIN TO BE CONTROLLED o­n 02-08-2015 (SUNDAY) AND 09-08-2015 (SUNDAY) :
68055 Asansol-Tatanagar MEMU Passenger may be controlled o­n the Section.
