RUNNING OF BELAGAVI - SHEDBAL - BELAGAVI DAILY JANSADHARAN PASSENGER SPECIAL
Shri Suresh Angadi, Hon’ble Minister of State of Railways had advised to run a special train between Belagavi and Shedbal  so that  people of other parts of Belagavi District could get connected with Belagavi by train and also with Hubballi & Bengaluru by running the special train  to suit to the timings of Train No.20653/20654 KSR Bengaluru – Belagavi - KSR Bengaluru Superfast Express. As per his advice,  South Western Railway has decided to run Train No. 06925/06926 Belagavi-Shedbal-Belagavi  Daily Jansadharan Passenger Special with effect from 01stJanuary, 2020.
Accordingly, Train No. 06925 Belagavi-Shedbal Daily Jansadharan Passenger Special  will depart from Belagavi at 07:45 hrs. and reach Shedbal at 10:40 hrs.  Enroute the train will arrive/depart Sulebhavi at 08:01/08:02 hrs., Suldhal at 08:10/08:11 hrs., Pachchapur at 08:18/08:19 hrs., Parakanahatti at 08:25/08:26 hrs., Gokak Road at 08:32/08:33 hrs., Ghataprabha at 08:44/08:46 hrs., Bagewadi halt at 08:53/08:54 hrs., Chikkodi Road at 09:02/09:03 hrs., Raybag at 09:14/09:15 hrs., Chinchli at 09:25/09:26 hrs., Kudachi at 09:35/09:36 hrs. and Ugarkhurd at 09:46/09:47 hrs.
In return direction, Train No. 06926 Shedbal-Belagavi Daily Jansadharan Passenger Special will depart from Shedbal at 14:45 hrs. and reach Belagavi at 18:10 hrs. Enroute, the train will arrive/depart Ugarkhurd at 14:54/14:55 hrs., Kudachi at 15:04/15:05 hrs., Chinchli at 15:14/15:15 hrs., Raybag at 15:26/15:27 hrs., Chikkodi Road at 15:41/15:42 hrs.,  Bagewadi halt at 15:52/15:53 hrs., Ghataprabha at 16:04/16:06 hrs., Gokak Road at 16:16/16:17 hrs., Parakanahatti at 16:26/16:27 hrs., Pachchapur at 16:41/16:42 hrs., Suldhal at 16:51/16:52 hrs. and Sulebhavi at 17:09/17:10 hrs.

60 Wholly Unreserved Second Class Jansadharan Special Trains to serve rail passengers during Sankranthi Festival
Taking forward the avowed mission to serve rail customers across every economic strata with importance, South Central Railway has taken initiative to run the highest ever 60 fully unreserved second class Jansadharan Special Trains between various important destinations during the ensuing Sankranthi season from 10th till 20th January, 2019. 
The festival of harvest, celebrated prominently in both the Telugu speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana sees people travelling to their native places in huge numbers, during the holiday period. A sizeable section of the travelling public, plan their journeys well in advance and reserve their tickets either by the regular trains or other special trains.However, a significant percentage of the travelling public plan their journeys at short notice and prefer to travel at affordable options of transport. It is to cater to this needy segment of travelers that SCR has introduced Jansadharan Special Train services. Basing o­n the traffic trends, the 60 Jansadharan specials will run between Secunderabad/Hyderabad-Vijayawada; Secunderabad-Tirupati; Kakinada Town-Tirupati and Vijayawada-Vizianagaram (via Duvvada, Vizag).
The 60 Jansadharan Special trains comprising of fully unreserved second class coaches including exclusive accommodation for women passengers are expected to carry around 1.20 lakh of passengers travelling during the Sankranthi festival season. With the fare for travel by Jansadharan Expresses, being over 50% less than the comparable Bus travel options, it is expected that the trains will meet the expectations of the common people, o­n the basis of providing an easily affordable travel experience back home to their native places for the festival and in return. An example is the fare for travel by Jansadharan Special Train between Secunderabad - Vijayawada, which is Rs. 120/-, far less than any other alternative means. Adding to the same, the journey period of Jansadharan Expresses is almost matching to that of bus travel, thereby enabling reach destinations within reasonable time.
Passengers intending to travel by Jansadharan Special Trains can also avoid the rush at unreserved general booking counters by opting to purchase the tickets at the Jansadharan Ticket Booking Sewaks (JTBS) counters, Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs), Cash cum Coin Operated Ticket Vending Machines (CoTVMs). Further convenient, passengers can opt for the latest o­nline facility of purchasing the tickets o­n their smart phones by accessing the Unreserved Ticketing System Mobile App (UTS o­n Mobile).
SCR has been able to attain its objective to provide the most convenient, cheapest and reasonably fast option of Jansadharan Special Trains travel by means of optimally utilizing all its resources such as the rolling stock, manpower and locomotives etc.

Arakkonam-Renigunta-Chennai Beach Janasadaran Special Trains:
Train No. 05601 Arakkonam-Renigunta Janasadaran special train will depart Arakkonam at 15:00 hrs from 11th to 20th September, 2018 (10 days) and arrive Renigunata at 16:30 hrs o­n the same day.
Enroute this special train will also stop at Tiruttani,  Ekambarakuppan Halt and  Puttur stations.
Train No. 05602 Renigunta – Chennai Beach special train will depart Renigunta at 17:10 hrs from 11thto 20th September, 2018 (10 days) and arrive Chennai Beach at 21:00 hrs o­n the same day.
Enroute this special train will also stop at Puttur, Ekambarakuppan, Tiruttani, Arakkonam, Tiruvallur, Tiruninravur and  Perambur stations.

Fully Unreserved General Second Class Jansadharan Special Trains from Secunderabad to Kakinada Town on 11th & 12th January, 2018 for Sankranti Festival
With a view to clear the extra rush of passengers travelling without advance reservations for Sankranti Festival and those preferring to travel in general second class, South Central Railway will run two Jansadharan Special Trains from Secunderabad to Kakinada Town via., Guntur & Vijayawada o­n 11th and 12thJanuary, 2018.  
These special trains are Un-reserved and carry fully General Second Class Accommodation, benefiting the rail users to travel at minimal cost from the twin cities towards Kakinada Town. These services will also benefit people travelling to various other cities enroute such as Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry etc.
 The detailed scheduled of the trains is as follows:-
Accordingly, Train No. 07050 Secunderabad - Kakinada Town Jansadharan Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 23:10 hrs on 11th and 12th January, 2018 and arrive Kakinada Town at 11:00 hrs o­n the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry and Samalkot stations.
These special trains will have sixteen General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

SCR to Run 78 Special Trains to Various Destinations from Tirupati
In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Christmas and New Year, 78 Special Trains will run from Tirupati to Kakinada Town, Nagarsol and  H.S.Nanded as detailed below:-
Train No. 07942/07941 Tirupati-Kakinada Town-Renigunta special trains (26 services): 
Train No. 07942 Tirupati - Kakinada Town  Jansadharan special train will depart Tirupati  at 19:00 hrs o­n 3rd , 10th , 17th , 24th& 31st December, 2017; 7th , 14th , 21st & 28th January, 4th , 11th, 18th and 25th February, 2018 (Sundays)  and arrive Kakinada Town at 05:30 hrs o­n the next day
In the return direction, Train No. 07941 Kakinada Town-Renigunta Jansadharan special train will depart Kakinada Town at 19:00 hrs o­n 4th , 11th , 18th & 25th December,2017; 1st , 8th , 15th, 22nd & 29th January; 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th February, 2018 (Mondays)  and arrive Renigunta  at 06:00 hrs o­n the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Sri Kalahasti, Gudur, Nellore, o­ngole, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry and Samalkot in both the directions.
These special trains consist of General Second Class and Luggage cum Brake van coaches. 
2.Train No. 07417/07418 Tirupati-Nagarsol-Tirupati weekly Special Trains (26 services):
Train No 07417 Tirupati – Nagarsol weekly Special Train will depart Tirupati at 07:30 hrs o­n 1st , 8th , 15th , 22nd & 29thDecember,2017; 5th, 12th ,19th & 26thJanuary; 2nd , 9th , 16th and 23rdFebruary, 2018 (Friday) arrive/depart Secunderabad at 20:15/20:25 hrs o­n the same day and arrive Nagarsol at 11: 55 hrs o­n the next day. 
In the return direction, Train No.07418 Nagarsol – Tirupati weekly Special Train will depart Nagarsol at 22:00 hrs o­n 2nd , 9th , 16th, 23rd &30thDecember,2017; 6th, 13th , 20th & 27thJanuary; 3rd , 10th , 17th and  24th Febrauary, 2018 (Saturday), arrive/depart Secunderabad at 11:55/12:05 hrs o­n the next day and arrive Tirupati at 04:00 hrs o­n the second day. 
Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, o­ngole, Tenali, Guntur, Sattenapalli, Piduguralla, Nadikudi, Miryalguda, Nalgoda, Cherlapalli, Begampet, Lingampalli, Shankarpalli, Vikarabad, Zahirabad, Bidar, Bhalki, Udgir, Latur Road, Pangaon, Parli, Gangakher, Parbhani, Manavat Road, Selu, Partur, Jalna and Aurangabad stations in both directions.
These special trains will consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches. 
3.Train No. 07607/07608 H.S.Nanded-Tirupati-H.S.Nanded Special Trains (26 services) 
Train No 07607 H.S.Nanded- Tirupati Special Train will depart H.S.Nanded at 18:45 hrs o­n 5th, 12th, 19th& 26th December; 2nd , 9th , 16th, 23rd  and 30th January; 6th , 13th ,20th and 27th February,2018 (Tuesday) arrive/depart Secunderabad at 00:10/00:40 hrs o­n the next day and arrive Tirupati at 14.00 hrs.
 In the return direction, Train No 07608 Tirupati-H.S.Nanded Special Train will depart Tirupati at 15:45 hrs o­n  6th, 13th, 20th& 27th December; 3rd , 10th , 17th, 24th & 31st January; 7th , 14th, 21st  and 28th February, 2018 (Wednesday) arrive/depart Secunderabad at 04:30/04:55 hrs o­n the next day and arrive H.S.Nanded at 11:30 hrs.
Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Mudkhed, Dharmabad, Basar, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Malkajgiri, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Sri Kalahasti and Renigunta stations in both directions.
These special trains will consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class Coaches.

The 05531 Saharsa-Anand Vihar Terminal Bi-Weekly Jansadharan Special train will depart from  Saharsa on every Sunday & Wednesday at 06.15 a.m. from 29.10.2017 to 29.11.2017  to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 09.20  a.m. the next day (10 trips). In the return direction, the 05532 Anand Vihar Terminal- Saharsa  Bi-Weekly Jansadharan Special  train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal on every Monday & Thursday from 30.10.2017 to 30.11.2017 at 12.00 noon to reach Saharsa  at  12.00 noon  the next day  (10  trips).
Comprising of 16 general class & two disabled friendly Second class cum Luggage Van coaches, the  05531/05532  Saharsa-Anand Vihar Terminal- Saharsa  Bi-Weekly  Jansadharan Special  train will stop at S.Bhakhtiyarpur, Mansi, Khagaria, Hasanpur Road , Samastipur ,Muzaffarpur, Bapudham Motihari, Sagauli, Bettiah, Narkatiaganj, Siswa Bazar, Kaptanganj, Gorakhpur, Khalilabad, Basti, Gonda, Lucknow & Kanpur Central stations enroute in both the directions.

Good news for passengers !!! It has been decided to run Jansadharan Special Trains between Ratnagiri – Panvel – Ratnagiri to clear extra rush of passengers during Diwali festival.
  • Train No. 00504 / 00503 Ratnagiri – Panvel – Ratnagiri Jansadharan Special :
  • Train No. 00504 Ratnagiri – Panvel Jansadharan Special will leave from Ratnagiri at 13:00 Hrs on Sunday (22/10/2017). Train will reach Panvel at 19:50 Hrs on same day.
  • Train No. 00503 Panvel – Ratnagiri Jansadharan Special will leave from Panvel at 20:20 Hrs on Sunday (22/10/2017). Train will reach Ratnagiri at 03:00 Hrs on next day.
  • Train will halt at Sangameshwar Road, Savarda, Chiplun, Khed, Mangaon and Roha stations.
  • Composition : Total 18 coaches = General – 16 coaches, SLR – 02.

In the return direction the 05536Ambala-Saharsa Jan Sadharan Special train will depart from Ambala on 13.11.2017 at 03.10 a.m. to arrive at Saharsa at 09.15 a.m. the next day.

To cope with the expected rush of passengers, Eastern Railway will run  6(six) Janasadharan Chhat Puja special (via Bandel) between Howrah & Raxaul. 
  • 03041 Howrah – Raxaul Janashadharan Chhat special will leave Howrah at 22.50 hrs on every Thursday between 19.10.2017 & 02.11.2017(3 trips) and 
  • 03042 Raxaul – Howrah Janashadharan Chhat special will leave Raxaul at 19.45 hrs on every Friday between 20.10.2017 & 03.11.2017(3 trips)

The train will have general second class coaches only.

Railways have decided to run Superfast Jansadharan Weekly Special Train between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai and Gorakhpur to clear the extra rush of passengers during Durga Puja and Diwali festival season. The details as under: -
Train No. 02598 Superfast Jansadharan weekly special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 14.20 hrs o­n every Sunday from 10.9.2017 to 29.10.2017 (8 trips) and will arrive Gorakhpur at 18.45 hrs next day.
Train No. 02597 Superfast Jansadharan weekly special will leave Gorakhpur at 08.25 hrs o­n every Saturday from 9.9.2017 to 28.10.2017 (8 trips) and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 12.15 hrs next day.
Halts: Kalyan, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Bhopal, Jhansi, Urai, Kanpur Central, Lucknow (NR), Gonda, Basti and Khalilabad
Composition: 22 General Second Class coaches.
Passengers are requested to please note and avail the facility.

In the return direction, the 02598 CST Mumbai-Gorakhpur Superfast Jansadharan Weekly Specialwill depart from CSTM Mumbai from 10.09.2017 to 29.10.2017on every Sunday at 02.20 p.m. to reach Gorakhpur at 06.45 p.m. the next day (08 trips).

Jansadharan Weekly  Special Train will depart from Chhapra at 04.00 p.m. o­n every Sunday from 10.09.2017 to 29.10.2017  to reach Delhi Jn. at 11.55 a.m. the next day ( 08 trips). MUMBAI- GORAKHPUR SUPERFAST JANSADHARAN WEEKLY SPECIAL
Railways have decided to run superfast Jansadharan Weekly Special Train between Mumbai and Gorakhpur to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details as under: -
  • Train No. 02598 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai - Gorakhpur Superfast Jansadharan weekly superfast will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 14.20 hrs on every Sunday from 9.7.2017 to 30.7.2017 (4 trips) and will arrive Gorakhpur at 18.45 hrs next day.
  • Train No. 02597 Gorakhpur - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Jansadharan weekly superfast will leave Gorakhpur at 08.25 hrs o­n every Saturday from 8.7.2017 to 29.7.2017 (4 trips) and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 12.15 hrs next day.
  • Halts: Kalyan, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Bhopal, Jhansi, Kanpur Central, Lucknow (NR), Gonda, Basti and Khalilabad
  • Composition: 22 General Second Class coaches.

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, South Central Railway will run twenty six Jansadharan Special trains between Tirupati - Kakinada Town as detailed below.
Accordingly, Train No. 07942 Tirupati - Kakinada Town Jansadharan special train will depart Tirupatiat 19:00 hrs on 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th July, 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th August, 3rd, 10th, 17thand 24th September, 2017 (Sundays) and arrive Kakinada Town at 05:30 hrs on the next day
In the return direction, Train No. 07941 Kakinada Town-TirupatiJansadharan special train will depart Kakinada Town at 19:00 hrs on 3rd,10th, 17th, 24th, 31st July, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th August, 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th September, 2017 (Mondays) and arrive Tirupati at 06:20 hrs on the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Renigunta, Sri Kalahasti, Gudur, Nellore,Ongole, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry and Samalkot in both the directions.
These special trains consist of 12 Coaches viz,. ten General Second Class and two Luggage cum Break van coaches.

Two Jansadharan Special Trains between Secunderabad - Bhadrachalam Road

To facilitate Passengers proceeding to Bhadrachalam o­n the eve of Sri Rama Navami festival, South Central Railway will run two Jansadharan special trains between Secunderabad – Bhadrachalam Road  as detailed below:- 

Accordingly, Train No 07096 Secunderabad – Bhadrachalam Road Jansadharan Special train will depart Secunderabad at 22:40 hrs o­n 4th April, 2017 (Tuesday) and arrive Bhadrachalam Road at 04:30 hrs on the next day.  In the return direction, 
Train No 07095 Bhadrachalam Road - Secunderabad Jansadharan Special train will depart Bhadrachalam Road at 22:00 hrs o­n 5th April, 2017 (Wednesday) and arrive Secunderabad at 03:30 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these Jansadharan special trains will stop at Charlapalli, Bhongir, Aler, Jangaon, Ghanapur, Kazipet, Warangal, Mahabubabad and Dornakal stations in both the directions.   This Jansadharan special trains will consist of 14 coaches viz., twelve General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

To cater to the rush of passengers  on  the occasion of HOLI festival , Eastern Railway will run sixteen ( 16 ) more special trains  --  two Holi special trains each between Howrah & Kamakhya, Howrah & Gorakhpur, Howrah-Raxaul-Asansol, Asansol & Patna,  four trains between Malda & Anand Vihar and two Janasadharan Special trains each between Howrah & Raxaul and Howrah & Anand Nagar.
02257 Up Howrah – Kamakhya Holi Special (via-Dankuni) will start from Howrah station at 23:05 hrs. o­n 11.3.2017 and reach Kamakhya station at 19:30 hrs. o­n the next day, while the corresponding down train (02258 Dn) leaving Kamakhya at 23:45 hrs. o­n 12.3.2017 will arrive at Howrah at 19:30 hrs. next day. This train will have Air Conditioned & Sleeper Class accommodations.
03131 Up Howrah – Gorakhpur Holi Special  (via-Dankuni) will start from Howrah station at 23:55 hrs. o­n 8.3.2017 and reach Gorakhpur station  at 17:30 hrs. o­n the next day, while the corresponding down train (03132 Dn) leaving Gorakhpur at 19:05 hrs. o­n 9.3.2017 will arrive at Howrah station  at 12:40 hrs. next day.
03429 Up Malda-Anand Vihar Holi Special (via-Sultanpur) will start from Malda Town station at 9:05 hrs. o­n 20.3.2017 & 27.3.2017 and reach Anand Vihar  station  at 14:20 hrs. o­n next days, while the corresponding down train (03430 Dn)  leaving Anand Vihar station at 17:10 hrs. o­n 21.3.2017 & 28.3.2017 will arrive at Malda Town station  at 23:50 hrs. o­n next days.
03039 Up/ 03040 Dn  Howrah – Raxaul - Asansol  Holi Special (via-Dankuni) will start from Howrah station at 15:00 hrs. o­n 10.3.2017 and reach Raxaul  station at 10:00 hrs. o­n the next day, while in return journey leaving Raxaul station  at 12:00 hrs. o­n 11.3.2017 this train will terminate at Asansol station at 23:45 hrs. o­n the same day
These trains will have Air Conditioned, Sleeper Class & General Second Class accommodations.
03575 Up/03576 Dn Asansol – Patna Holi Special train leaving  Asansol & Patna stations at 7:15 hrs. & 15:10 hrs. o­n 12.3.2017 will reach Patna & Asansol stations at 14:00 hrs. & 22:00 hrs. respectively o­n the same day. This train will have Second Class reserved & un-reserved accommodations.
Janasadharan Holi Special trains:
ER has arranged Howrah-Raxaul & Howrah-Anand Nagar Janasadharan Holi special trains having all unreserved General Second Class coaches.
03041 Up/ 03042 Dn  Howrah- Raxaul-Howrah Janasadharan  Holi Special (via-Bandel) will start from Howrah station at 22:50 hrs. o­n 9.3.2017 and reach Raxaul  station at 16:05 hrs. o­n the next day, while in return journey leaving Raxaul station  at 19:45 hrs. o­n 10.3.2017 this train will arrive at Howrah station at 12:15 hrs. next day
03067 Up/ 03068 Dn  Howrah – Anand Nagar-Howrah Janasadharan  Holi Special will start from Howrah station at 22:50 hrs. o­n 11.3.2017 and reach Anand Nagar  station at 21:10 hrs. o­n the next day, while in return journey leaving Anand Nagar station  at 00:45 hrs. o­n 13.3.2017 this train will arrive at Howrah station at 20:15 hrs. o­n  the same day.
It may be mentioned that, ER has already declared earlier 6 other special trains for Holi Festival of which 4 will run between Howrah & Muzaffarpur and 2 between Sealdah & Kamakhya.

To clear extra rush of rail passengers during Summer season-2016, Railway has extended the run of special train no. 05523/05524 Darbhanga - Jalandhar City- Darbhanga Jansadharan as per the following programme:-

The 05523 Darbhanga - Jalandhar City Jansadharan Special train will depart from Darbhanga on 13.06.2016 & 14.06.2016 at 11.30 p.m. to reach Jalandhar City at 04.45 a.m. the third day. In the return direction, 
The 05524 Jalandhar City - Darbhanga Jansadharan Special train will depart from Jalandhar City on 14.06.2016, 15.06.2016 & 16.06.2016 at 08.15 a.m. to reach Darbhanga at 11.40 p.m. the next day.

Comprising of Eighteen General Class and two Second Class cum Luggage Van coaches, the 05523/05524 Darbhanga - Jalandhar City- Darbhanga Jansadharan (06 trips) Special train will stop at Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, , Hajipur, Sonpur, Chhapra,Siwan,Bhatani, Gorakhpur, Basti,Gonda, Sitapur Cantt., Bareilley, Moradabad, Laksar,Saharanpur, Ambala Cantt.
