1) Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Barauni Special

05298 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12.15 hrs o­n 15.11.2021 (Monday) and arrive Barauni at 05.00 hrs o­n third day.

05297 special will leave Barauni at 16.30 hrs o­n 13.11.2021 (Saturday) and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 10.00 hrs o­n third day.

Halts:  Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki Jn., Varanasi, Chhapra,  Hajipur, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur

Composition: Two AC-2Tier, Ten AC-3 Tier and 9 Second seating.

2) Pune – Patna Special

03382 special will leave Pune at 05.30 hrs o­n 14.11.2021 (Sunday) and arrive Patna at 12.00 hrs next day.

03381 special will leave Patna at 10.40 hrs o­n 12.11.2021 (Friday) and arrive Pune at 18.50 hrs next day.

Central Railway will run 34 Diwali / Chhat Festival trains to clear the extra rush of passengers as per details given below -

1) Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Gorakhpur Weekly AC Specials (8)

01235 Weekly special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus every Tuesday at 16.40 hrs from 02.11.2021 to 23.11.2021 (4 trips) and will arrive Gorakhpur at 23.55 hrs next day.

01236 Weekly special will leave Gorakhpur every Thursday at 04.15 hrs from 04.11.2021 to 25.11.2021 (4 trips) and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12.15 hrs next day

Halts: Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Jhansi, Orai, Pokhrayan, Kanpur, Lucknow, Gonda and Basti

Railways will run 6 additional festival specials between Hatia and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to clear the extra rush of passengers during the  Dipawali and Chhat pooja festival as per details:-

  • 08225 festival special will leave Hatia at 09.40 hrs o­n every Saturday from 14.11.2020 to 28 .11.2020 (3 Trips)  and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 13.35 hrs next day.
  • 08226 festival special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus o­n every Monday at 00.15 hrs from 16.11.2020 to 30.11.2020 (3 Trips) and arrive Hatia at 04.00 hrs next day.
  • Halts & Stoppages will be same as the regular train No. 12812/12811 LTT- Hatia Express.
  • Composition:  Two AC-2 Tier, 6 AC-3 Tier, 7 Sleeper Class, 4 second class seating

Reservation: Bookings for fully reserved 08226 festival special o­n special charges will commence at all computerised reservation centres o­n 10.11.2020 and o­n website www.irctc.co.in.

RUNNING OF FESTIVAL SPECIAL TRAINS TOWARDS ISLAMPUR, PURNIA COURT, DANAPUR AND PATNA

Kolkata, 6th November, 2020:

With a view to clear extra rush of passengers during Deepawali and Chhat Puja, South Eastern Railway has decided to run fully reserved Festival Special Trains between Hatia-Islampur, Hatia-Purnia Court, Tatanagar-Danapur and Ranchi-Patna. These apart, 5 Special Trains (one way trip ) will originate from SER jurisdiction.

08624/08623 Hatia-Islampur-Hatia Special 

08624 Hatia-Islampur Special will run from Hatia everyday from 10/11/2020 to 30/11/2020. In the return direction, 08623 Islampur-Hatia Special will leave Islampur everyday from 11/11/2020 to 01/12/2020.

This special train will have o­ne First AC, o­ne AC 2 Tier, five AC 3 Tier and nine Sleeper Class coaches and will run as per the existing timings of 18624/18623 Hatia-Islampur-Hatia Express.

08626/08625 Hatia-Purnia Court-Hatia Special

08626 Hatia-Purnia Court Special will run from Hatia everyday from 10/11/2020 to 30/11/2020. In the return direction, 08625 Purnia Court-Hatia Special will leave Purnia Court everyday from 11/11/2020 to 01/12/2020.

This special train will have o­ne AC 2 Tier, two AC 3 Tier, five Sleeper Class and eleven general second class coaches and will run as per the existing timings of 18626/18625 Hatia-Purnia Court-Hatia Express.

08183/08184 Tatanagar-Danapur-Tatanagar Special

08183 Tatanagar-Danapur Special will run from Tatanagar everyday from 10/11/2020 to 30/11/2020. In the return direction, 08184 Danapur-Tatanagar Special will leave Danapur everyday from 11/11/2020 to 01/12/2020.

This special train will have o­ne AC Chair Car and eight General Chair Car coaches and will run as per the existing timings of 18183/18184 Tatanagar-Danapur-Tatanagar Express.

 02364/02363 Ranchi-Patna-Ranchi Special

02364 Ranchi-Patna Special will run from Ranchi everyday from 10/11/2020 to 30/11/2020. In the return direction, 02363 Patna-Ranchi Special will leave Patna everyday from 10/11/2020 to 30/11/2020.

This special train will have three AC Chair Car and sixteen General Chair Car coaches and will run as per the existing timings of 12366/12365 Ranchi-Patna-Ranchi Express.

Running of o­ne Way Special Trains08003 Santragachi-Bettiah Special

08003 Santragachi-Bettiah Special will leave Santragachi o­n 08/11/2020 at 5.00 hrs and will reach Bettiah at 18.00 hrs the same day.

This special train will have two AC 3 Tier, eight Sleeper Class and ten general second class coaches.

08005 Tatanagar-Sitamarhi Special

08005 Tatanagar-Sitamarhi Special will leave Tatanagar o­n 08/11/2020 at 10.00 hrs and will reach Sitamarhi at 23.55 hrs o­n same day.

This special train will have two AC 3 Tier, eight Sleeper Class and nine general second class coaches.

08007 Hatia-Bapudham Motihari Special

08007 Hatia-Bapudham Motihari Special will leave Hatia o­n 08/11/2020 at 14.00 hrs and will reach Bapudham Motihri at 06.00 hrs the next day.

This special train will have two AC 3 Tier, eight Sleeper Class and nine general second class coaches.

08009 Hatia-Saharsa Special

08009 Hatia-Saharsa Special will leave Hatia o­n 09/11/2020 at 10.00 hrs and will reach Saharsa at 01.00 hrs the next day.

SER TO RUN SANTRAGACHI-BARAUNI CHHAT PUJA SUVIDHA SPECIAL
Kolkata, 24th October, 2019:
With a view to clear extra rush of passengers during Chhat Puja, South Eastern Railway has decided to run o­ne pair of Suvidha Special train between Santragachi-Barauni-Santragachi(80805/80806) leaving Santragachi o­n 01.11.19 (Friday) and leaving Barauni o­n 03.11.19 (Sunday).
  • 80805 Santragachi-Barauni Suvidha Special leaving Santragachi at 15.30 hrs will reach Barauni at 09.30 hrs, the next day. In the return direction, 
  • 80806 Barauni-Santragachi Suvidha Special leaving Barauni at 16.00 hrs will arrive Santragachi at 06.15 hrs, the next day.
The Special train consisting of four AC-3 Tier, twelve Sleeper Class and two General Second Class Coaches will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Tatanagar, Chandil, Purulia, Joychandi Pahar, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha and Kiul between Santragachi and Barauni.
The above train will run with revised composition instead of 08005/08006 Santragachi-Barauni-Santragachi Chhat Puja Special which was announced earlier.

Train No. 02597 Superfast weekly special will leave Gorakhpur at 08.25 hrs o­n every Saturday from 20.10.2018 to 17.11.2018 (5 trips) and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 12.15 hrs next day.
Halts: Kalyan, Igatpuri, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Bhopal, Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur Central, Lucknow (NR), Gonda, Basti and Khalilabad

Train No. 02053 Superfast weekly special train will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 14.20 hrs o­n every Friday from 2.11.2018 to 16.11.2018 (3 trips) and will arrive Patna at 18.30 hrs next day.
Train No. 02054 Superfast weekly special will leave Patna at 23.35 hrs o­n every Saturday from 3.11.2018 to 17.11.2018 (3 trips) and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 06.15 hrs o­n third day.

For the convenience of passengers during the festive occasion of Diwali/Puja/Chhath Puja and with a view to meet the travel demand during the season, Western Railway has decided to run Special trains o­n Special Fare between Bandra Terminus – Jaipur and Bandra (T)- Ajmer. The details of the same are given below:
·Train No. 09724/09723 Bandra (T) – JaipurWeekly Superfast Special train (10 trips)
Train No. 09724 Bandra (T) – Jaipur (weekly) Superfast Special train will depart from Bandra (T) every Thursday at 06.15 hrs from 18th Oct to 15th Nov, 2018 and reach Jaipur at 3.10 hrs the next day.
Similarly, Train No. 09723Jaipur– Bandra (T) (weekly) Superfast Special train will depart from Jaipurat 08.15hrs every Wednesday from 17th Oct, to 14th November, 2018 and arriveBandra (T) at 04.45 hrs o­n the next day.

Similarly, Train No. 09621 Ajmer – Bandra (T) (weekly) Superfast Special train will depart from Ajmerat 06.35 hrs every Sunday from 14thOctober, 2018 to 11th November, 2018 and reach Bandra Terminus at 04.45 hrsthe next day.
The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Bhawani Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Durgapura, Jaipur and Kishangarh stations in both directions.

 For the convenience of the rail passengers and to clear extra rush during Chhath Festival 2017, Railways will run the 05531/05532 Saharsa-Anand Vihar Terminal- Saharsa  Bi-Weekly Jansadharan Special  train as per the following  programme :
05531/05532  Saharsa-Anand Vihar Terminal- Saharsa  Bi-Weekly Jansadharan Special  train ( 20  trips)
The 05531 Saharsa-Anand Vihar Terminal Bi-Weekly Jansadharan Special train will depart from  Saharsa on every Sunday & Wednesday at 06.15 a.m. from 29.10.2017 to 29.11.2017  to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 09.20  a.m. the next day (10 trips). In the return direction, the 05532 Anand Vihar Terminal- Saharsa  Bi-Weekly Jansadharan Special  train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal on every Monday & Thursday from 30.10.2017 to 30.11.2017 at 12.00 noon to reach Saharsa  at  12.00 noon  the next day  (10  trips).

Kolkata, 11th October, 2017:
To clear the extra rush of passengers during Diwali/Chhat Puja , South Eastern Railway has decided to run nine pairs of  Tri-weekly Special trains between Howrah and Ranchi during the period from 15.10.17 to 31.10.17 via Bishnupur-Bankura-Adra-Bokaro Steel City.
  • 08627 Howrah-Ranchi Special leaving Howrah at 15.30 hrs every Sunday, Monday & Tuesday from 15.10.17 to 31.10.17 will reach Ranchi at 23.55 hrs o­n the same day. In the return direction,
  • 08628 Ranchi-Howrah Special leaving Ranchi at 05.45 hrs every Sunday, Monday & Tuesday from 15.10.17 to 31.10.17 will arrive Howrah at 15.15 hrs o­n the same day.
  • The Special trains consisting of two AC Chair Car, seven General Chair Car and three General Second Class coaches will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Midnapur, Bishnupur, Bankura, Adra, Bhojudih, Mohuda, Chandrapura, Bokaro Steel City, Jhalda and Muri stations enroute.

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Chhath festival , South Central Railway will run four Special Trains between Secunderabad - Barauni 
and Secunderabad - Patna as detailed below:-
1.Train No. 02791/02792 Secunderabad – Barauni – Secunderabad (02 Services)
Accordingly, Train No. 02791 Secunderabad - Barauni Special train will depart Secunderabad at 18:20 hrs o­n 23rd  October, 2017 (Monday) and arrive Barauni at 06:00 hrs o­n wednesday.
In the return direction, Train No. 02792 Barauni - Secunderabad Special train will depart Barauni at 13:15 hrs o­n  28th October, 2017 (Saturday) and arrive Secunderabad at 00:30 hrs o­n Monday.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Ramagundam,Bellampalli, SirpurKagazhnagar, Balharsha, Nagpur, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Allahabad Chheoki, Mughalsarai, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patna, Patna Saheb, Bhaktiyarpur and Mokama stations in both the directions.
These trains will comprise of o­ne AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, twelve Sleeper Class and two Luggage cum Brakevan Coaches.
2.Train No. 07639/07640 Secunderabad – Patna –Secunderabad Jansadharan spl (02 Services)
 Accordingly, Train No. 07639 Secunderabad - Patna Special train will depart Secunderabad at 18:20 hrs o­n 22ndOctober, 2017 (Sunday) and arrive Patna at 03:00 hrs o­n Tuesday.
In the return direction, Train No. 07640 Patna - Secunderabad Special train will depart Patna at 16:30 hrs o­n 27th October, 2017 (Friday) and arrive Secunderabad at 01:00 hrs o­n Sunday.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Ramagundam, Bellampalli, Sirpur Khagaznagar,  Balharshah, Nagpur,  Itarsi,  Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Allahabad Chheoki,  Mughalsarai, Buxar, Ara and  Danapur stations in both the directions.

  • Train No. 82531 Jayanagar-Banglore City Suvidha special train will depart Jayanagar at 18:20 hrs on 15th, 22nd, 29thNovember and 6th December, 2016 (Tuesdays) and arrive Banglore City at 03:00 hrs on Friday.In the return direction, 
  • Train No. 82352 Banglore City-Jayanagar Suvidha Special Train will depart Banglore City at 23:30 hrs on 18th, 25thNovember, 2nd and 9th December, 2016 (Fridays) and arrive Jayanagar at 11:45 hrs on Monday.

Enroute, these suvidha special trains will stop at  Darbhanga, Samastipur, Baruni, Patna, Ara, Buxar, Mughalsarai, Mirzapur, Chheoki, Manikpur, Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Nagpur, Balharshah, Warangal, Vijayawada, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi and Jolarpettai stations in both the directions.

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Chhat & Diwali festival, South Central Railway will run two Special Trains between Secunderabad and Patna via Allahabad, Varanasi as detailed below:-

Train No. 02791 Secunderabad – Patna Special Trainwill depart Secunderabad at 21.40 hrs on 6th November, 2015 (Friday) and arrive Patna at 08:05 hrs on Sunday. This train will be run as Special Fare Train (Tatkal Fare).

In the return direction, Train No. 02792 Patna – Secunderabad Special Trainwill depart Patna at 09.30 hrs on 9thNovember, 2015 (Monday) and arrive Secunderabad at 19:25 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these trains will stop at Kazipet, Ramagundam, Ballarshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Manikpur, Allahabad, Varanasi and Mughalsarai stations in both the directions.

I.SPECIAL TRAINS RUNNING TO CLEAR EXTRA RUSH BY SWR :-

South Western Railway has decided torun SpecialTrains between Hubballi-Chennai-Hubballi Bi-Weekly Special (Tr. Nos. 07324/07323); between Yesvantpur-Pandharpur-Yesvantpur Bi-Weekly Specials (Tr. Nos.06541/06542); Passenger Specials between Mysuru- Chamarajanagar-Mysuru (Tr. No.06207/06208) and also between Yesvantpur-Mysuru-Yesvantpur Passenger Specials (Tr. Nos. 16587/16588) to clear extra ruh due to festival of Dussera. Deepawali and Chaat, as per the following days, dates of service and timings at originating station and destination station.

1.Accordingly, Train No.07324 Hubballi-Chennai Bi-Weekly Express Special will depart at Hubballi station at 20-20 hrs. on Mondays & Wednesdays i.e. on 21st, 26th, 28th Oct. 2015, 02nd, 04th, 09th, 11th, 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th & 30th Nov. 2015 and arrive at Chennai Central station at 11-00 hrs., the next day.(Total : 12 Specials).

In the return direction, Train No.07323 Chennai-Hubballi Bi-Weekly Express Special will depart atChennai Central station at 13-45 hrs. on Tuesdays & Thursdays, i.e. on 22nd, 27th, 29th Oct,2015, 03rd, 05th, 10th, 12th, 17th, 19th, 24th, 26th Nov. 2015 & 01st Dec. 2015 and arrive at Hubballi station at 05-25 hrs., the next day(Total : 12 Specials).

The Bi-Weekly Express Special will have total 16 coaches, comprising of One AC 2-tier coach, One AC 3-tier coach, Six Second Class Sleeper coaches, Six General Second Class coaches and Two Second Class luggage-cum-brake vans-cum-disabled coaches.

2.Train No.06541 Yesvantpur-Pandharpur Bi-Weekly Special will depart at Yesvantpur station at 18-00 hrs. on Mondays & Thursdays i.e. on 22nd, 26th, 29th Oct. 2015, 02nd, 05th, 09th, 12th, 16th, 19th, 23rd Nov. 2015 and arrive atPandharpur station at 11-35 hrs., the next day.(Total : 10 Specials).

In the return direction, Train No.06542 Pandharpur-Yesvantpur Bi-Weekly Special will depart atPandharpur station at 13-35 hrs. on Tuesdays & Fridays, i.e. on 23rd, 27th, 30th Oct,2015, 03rd, 06th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th & 24th Nov. 2015and arrive at Yesvantpur station at 06-20 hrs., the next day(Total : 10 Specials).

The Bi-Weekly Special will have total 20 coaches, comprising of One First Class AC-cum-AC 2-tier coach, One AC 2-tier coach, Four AC 3-tier coaches, Ten Second Class Sleeper coaches, Two General Second Class coaches and Two Second Class luggage-cum-brake vans-cum-disabled coaches.

The Passenger Special will have total 11 coaches.

4.Train No.06217 Yesvantpur-Mysuru Passenger Special will depart at Yesvantpur station at 08-10 hrs. on 23rd October, 2015 and arrive at Mysuru station at 11-40 hrs., on the same day. (Only One Special).

In the return direction, Train No.06218 Mysuru-Yesvantpur Passenger Specialwill depart atMysuru station at 22-00 hrs. on 23rd Oct. 2015 and arrive at Yesvantpur station at 01-20 hrs. on 24th Oct. 2015(Only One Special).

EASTERN RAILWAY TO RUN TWO MORE PAIRS OF CHHAT SPECIAL TRAIN

Kolkata, 23 October, 2015.

To clear the rush of passengers during ensuing Chhat festival, Eastern Railway will also run two pairs of special train between Howrah and Muzaffarpur stations.

The Howrah-Muzaffarpur Chhat special (05227) will leave Howrah station on 15 & 22 November at 6:00 hrs to reach Muzaffarpur at 18:30 hrs on the same day and the Muzaffarpur-Howrah Chhat special (05228) will leave Muzaffarpur station on 14 & 21 November, 2015 at 14:50 hrs to reach Howrah station at 3:00 hrs on the next day. The special train will stop at Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Barauni, Dalsingh Sarai and Samastipur stations en-route.

The special train will have Air-Conditioned, Sleeper class and General second class accommodation.

Booking for the up direction i.e, for Howrah- Muzaffarpur special will be available on and from 25 October, 2015.

EASTERN RAILWAY TO RUN 8 PAIRS OF CHHAT SPECIALS

Kolkata, 3 October, 2015:

To facilitate the passengers during the ensuing Chhat festival, Eastern Railway will run 8 pairs of Chhat special trains which includes 3 pairs of Kolkata- Jaynagar-Asansol Chhat special, 3 pairs of Howrah-Raxaul-Howrah Janasadharan Chhat special and 2 pairs of Malda- Anand Vihar-Malda Chhat special. Howrah-Raxaul-Howrah Janasadharan Chhat special will provide o­nly General Second Class coaches.

03585/03586 Kolkata-Jaynagar- Asansol weekly Chhat special will run between 16.11.2015 and 01.12.2015 o­n every Monday/ Tuesday, 03041/03042 Howrah-Raxaul-Howrah Janasadharan Chhat special between 12.11.2015 and 27.11.2015 o­n every Thursday/ Friday and 03429/03430 Malda-Anand Vihar-Malda weekly Chhat special between 23.11.2015 and 01.12.2015 o­n every Monday/ Tuesday.

Kolkata- Jaynagar-Asansol Chhat weekly special will have General Second Class and Sleeper Class Coaches and Malda-Anand Vihar-Malda weekly Chhat special will have General second class and Air-conditioned accommodation.
