EASTERN RAILWAY TO RUN TWO MORE PAIRS OF CHHAT SPECIAL TRAIN

Kolkata, 23 October, 2015.

To clear the rush of passengers during ensuing Chhat festival, Eastern Railway will also run two pairs of special train between Howrah and Muzaffarpur stations.

The Howrah-Muzaffarpur Chhat special (05227) will leave Howrah station on 15 & 22 November at 6:00 hrs to reach Muzaffarpur at 18:30 hrs on the same day and the Muzaffarpur-Howrah Chhat special (05228) will leave Muzaffarpur station on 14 & 21 November, 2015 at 14:50 hrs to reach Howrah station at 3:00 hrs on the next day. The special train will stop at Barddhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Barauni, Dalsingh Sarai and Samastipur stations en-route.

The special train will have Air-Conditioned, Sleeper class and General second class accommodation.

Booking for the up direction i.e, for Howrah- Muzaffarpur special will be available on and from 25 October, 2015.
