1.LokmanyaTilak Terminus-Faizabad Bi-weekly Superfast Special

01067 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 06.00 hrs every Wednesday and Saturday with effect from 14.04.2021 till further advice and arrive Faizabad at 08.55 hrs next day.

01068 special will leave Faizabadat 13.30 hrs every Thursday and Sundaywith effect from 15.04.2021 till further advice and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 16.05 hrs next day.

Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Manmad, Bhusaval, Burhanpur, Khandwa o­n Central Railway

Composition: o­ne AC-2 Tier, Four AC-3 Tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 3 second class seating.

2.Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Karaikal Weekly Special

01017 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 13.15 hrsevery Saturday from 17.04.2021 till further advice and arrive Karaikal at 18.50 hrs next day.

01018 Weekly special will leave Karaikalat 14.00 hrsevery Monday from 19.04.2021 till further advice and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 20.30 hrs next day.

Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Lonavala, Pune, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Wadi o­n Central Railway

Composition: o­ne AC-2 Tier, Four AC-3 Tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 3 Second class seating.

Reservation: Bookings for 01067 and 01017 will open o­n 07.04.2021 at all computerised reservation centres and o­n website www.irctc.co.in.

CR Run 4 special suburban services in Pune-Lonavala section from 12.10.2020 

Central Railway Pune Division will run 4 special suburban services o­n Pune-Lonavala section for emergency duty staff of Government of Maharashtra and Private Health Sector. The timings of the services are as under: 

  • Special local dep Pune 08.05 hrs arr Lonavala 09.30 hrs (stoppage, timings same as 99810 local service)
  • Special local dep Lonavala 17.30 hrs arr Pune 19.00 hrs (stoppage, timings same as 99819 local service except Pune arr 1900 hrs instead of 18.50 hrs)
  • Special local dep Lonavala 08.20 hrs arr Pune 09.45 hrs (stoppage, timings same as 99807 local service)
  • Special local dep Pune 18.02 hrs arr Lonavala 19.27 hrs(stoppage, timings same as 99826 local service)

It is mentioned here that the special suburban trains and stations over Central Railway, are regularly sanitized & cleaned to upkeep proper hygiene.

APPEAL: Others are requested not to rush to the stations.The public is requested not to believe any rumours.All commuters as permitted by Government of Maharashtra to adhere social distancing norms and wear mask, while boarding, alighting at railway stations and travelling in special suburban trains. CSMT-Wadi Parcel Train to run upto/from Secunderabad
Central Railway has already announced running parcel trains between CSMT-Wadi for sending essential commodities like medical, food, etc till 25.4.2020.
Now it has been decided to extend the run of this parcel train upto Secunderabad from 16.4.2020. In case full parcel train is loaded by a party at originating point the train can be run through enroute stations to reach parcels quickly to destination. If full parcel train load is offered by a party for any destination, CR will work proactively to provide the service. No passengers will be allowed to enter these trains. The details are as under:

01429 special will leave Pune at 21.35 hrs on 19.3.2019 and arrive Darbhanga at 11.45 hrs on 21.3.2019.
01430 special will leave Darbhanga at 22.00 hrs on 22.3.2019 and arrive Pune at 12:40 hrs on 24.3.2019.

Central Railway will operate a Mega Block o­n Pune – Lonavala section from 6.00 hrs to 16.10 hrs o­n 11.03.2018 for carrying out provision of automatic block signalling and construction of bridge work. Due to this block the train running pattern will be as under:

Railways will run one AC Superfast special train from Pune to Howrah to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as under: 
Train No. 01429 AC superfast special (One trip) will leave Pune at 19.50 hrs on 25.8.2017 and will arrive Howrah at 08.00 hrs on third day.
Halts: Lonavala, Karjat, Panvel, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Manmad, Bhusaval, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Pulgaon, Wardha, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakradharpur, Tatanagar & Kharagpur.

Pune: Passengers’ demand for direct local trains on Lonavla-Pune-Daund route may not be realised soon as the much-awaited Pune-Daund electrification project is unlikely to get over before June.

The electrification work was expected to get over by December 2015. However, when it did not, railway minister Suresh Prabhu assured its completion by March-end.

“Though preliminary works pertaining to the power sub-stations and safety checks of a high-tension wire are in final stages, it still take at least three months to complete the ongoing works, following which the trial runs will begin,” a source from the Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), which has taken up the electrification work, said.

Besides the electrification of tracks, the administration will also take up many infrastructural works like increasing the height of platforms at many stations and setting up of running rooms for drivers and local trains.

The electrification of Pune-Daund section stands important as it would help in expanding the rail infrastructure around Pune for running of local trains between Lonavla and Daund. At present, local trains operate only on Pune-Lonavla electrified stretch with no direct train service on Lonavla-Pune-Daund route.

Officials at RVNL said if things go as per the plan, the electrification work will get over only by June or July.

As per a senior RVNL official, works of installing electric poles, laying of high-tension wire and commencement of power-sub stations each at Daund and Yavat are already over. “The ongoing works include safety checks of a high-tension wire in the entire stretch of about 70km. It is unlikely to get over before June,” the official said.
Divisional railway manager of Pune B K Dadabhoy said, “The project is vital for passengers in Pune division and even administration wants to complete it at earliest. Funds have already been sought for infrastructural works pertaining to upgradation of platforms and commencement running rooms.”

Meanwhile, MP Supriya Sule on Monday met Dadabhoy to discuss on-going electrification work on Pune-Daund track and suggested to expedite pending works while offering possible assistance at the level of railway board.

Pune-Lonavala connectivity: PMRDA sanctions Rs 380 crore for new train tracks

The estimated cost of project is Rs 2,306 crore and the Mumbai Railway Development Corporation Ltd would be developing the 70 km-rail route.

TO PUSH the much-awaited project, the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) on Monday has approved to allot Rs 380.49 crore to develop two additional tracks for local trains from Pune to Lonavala in a bid to increase facilities for those commuting in the sector.

The estimated cost of project is Rs 2,306 crore and the Mumbai Railway Development Corporation Ltd would be developing the 70 km-rail route. The 50 per cent expenditure would be taken care of by the state and the rest would be done by PMRDA, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) and Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). Accordingly, the three together would be equally contributing towards it .

The meeting chaired by PMRDA chief and guardian minister Girish Bapat also decided to urge the state government to allow the authority to implement the outer ring road project.

01220 Special will leave Nagpur o­n 22.10.2015 at 21.10 hrs and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 15.05 hrs next day.

Special Traffic and PowerBlock at Lonavala on 18.5.2015 

Central Railway will operate a Special Traffic and Power block at Lonavala o­n all the lines from 1210 hrs to 1440 hrs o­n 18.05.2015 (Monday) with regard to reconstruction of Foot Over Bridge at Km 127/21-24.Due to this, the following trains are regulated/short terminated. 

Trains Regulated on 18.5.2015

1. Train No. 11026 Pune - Manmad Express will arrive Igatpuri 1hr 45 minutes behind schedule.

2. Train No. 16331 Mumbai-Thiruvananthapuram Express will arrive Lonavala 10 minutes behind schedule.

Train short terminated on 18.5.2015

1. Train No. 51318 Pune - Karjat Passenger will be terminated at Lonavala and will run as 51317 Karjat - Pune passenger from Lonavala on 18.5.2015. 

Passengers are requested to bear with administration for the inconvenience caused.
