Railways to Run 2 More Special Trains between Dadar and Adilabad for Mahaparinirvan Divas

*Additional Coaches in Mumbai-Sewagram/Ajni Mahaparinirvan Divas Special Trains* 

 Railways will run 2 unreserved special trains between Adilabad and Dadar to clear the extra rush of passengers o­n the occasion of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's Mahaparinirvan Divas. 

The details of special trains are as under-

 Special train No. 07058 will leave Adilabad at 07.00 hrs o­n 05.12.2022 Monday and will arrive Dadar at 03.30 hrs next day.

Special train No. 07057 will leave Dadar at 00.50 hrs o­n 07.12.2022 Wednesday and will arrive Adilabad at 18.45 hrs same day.

 *Halts*: Kinwat, Himayatnagar, Bhokar, Mudkhed, Hazur Sahib Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Manwat Road, Selu, Partur, Jalna, Aurangabad, Lasur, Rotegaon, Nagarsol, Manmad, Nashik Road, Igatpuri and Kalyan.

 *Composition:* 14 General second class coaches including two guard's brake vans

*Additional Coaches in special trains no. 01251/01253 and 01259*

01251 CSMT- Sewagram Special and 01253 Dadar- Ajni Special will run with 13 General Second Class coaches (instead of 12) including two Guard's Brake vans 

01259 Dadar- Ajni Special will run with 18 General Second Class coaches (instead of 16) including two Guard's Brake vans

Railway administration also appeals the passengers to travel with valid tickets to avoid any inconvenience during the journey.

Mumbai-Manduadih Superfast Special Train

01319 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12.10 hrs o­n 20.4.2021 and 27.4.2021 and arrive Manduadih at 15.00 hrs next day.

01320 special will leave Manduadih at 18.30 hrs o­n 21.4.2021 and 28.4.2021 and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 21.45 hrs next day

Halts:  Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Varanasi.

Composition: Three AC Chair Car, 17 second seating.

Pune-Manduadih Superfast Special Train

01457 special will leave Pune at 20.20 hrs o­n 20.4.2021 and 27.4.2021 and arrive Manduadih at 00.35 hrs o­n third day.

01458 special will leave Manduadih at 02.40 hrs o­n 22.4.2021 and 29.4.2021 and arrive Pune at 07.20 hrs next day

Halts:  Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Manmad, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Varanasi.

Composition: 20 second seating.

Pune-Guwahati o­ne-way Special Train

01459 special will leave Pune at 06.10 hrs o­n 21.4.2021 and arrive Guwahati at 13.40 hrs o­n third day.

Halts:  Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Manmad, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn., Danapur, Barauni Jn., Katihar, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, New Cooch Behar, New Bongaigaon, Rangiya Jn.

Composition: Two 3AC, 9 Sleeper, 9 second seating.

Reservation: Bookings for fully reserved special trains 01319, 01457 and 01459 o­n special charges will open o­n 19.4.2021 at all computerised reservation centres o­n website www.irctc.co.in.

With the composition of One – AC 3 Tier, Eight – Sleeper Class Coaches, Nine – General Second Class Coaches, Two- Luggage cum Brake Vans, Train No. 06001 Dr MGR Chennai Central o­ne Way Special will leave Dr. MGR Chennai Central at 05.15 hrs o­n 01st March, 2021and reach Guwahati at 05.30 hrs, the third day

2. Train No.06002 Madurai - Dibrugarh o­ne-Way Special

With the composition of One – AC 3 Tier, Four – Sleeper Class Coaches, Thirteen – General Second Class Coaches, Two- Luggage cum Brake Vans, Train No. 06002  Madurai - Dibrugarh o­ne-Way Special will leave Madurai at 11.55 hrs o­n 01st March, 2021 and reach Dibrugarh at 06.45 hrs, the Fourth day

3. Train No.06003 Mangalore – Korba o­ne-Way Super-Fast Special:

With the composition of One-AC 2 Tier cum 3 Tier, One- AC 3 Tier, Four- Sleeper Class Coaches, Fourteen – General Second Class Coaches and Two- Luggage Cum Brake Vans, Train No. 06003 Mangalore – Korba o­ne-Way Super-Fast Special Train will leave Mangalore Central at 06.45 hrs o­n 01st March, 2021 and reach Korba at 03.00 hrs, the third day

4. Train No.06004 Ernakulam - Hazarat Nizamuddin o­ne-Way Super-Fast Special:

With the composition of One- AC 3 Tier, Eight- Sleeper Class Coaches, Ten – General Second Class Coaches and Two- Luggage Cum Brake Vans, Train No.06004 Ernakulam - Hazarath Nizammudin o­ne-Way Superfast Special Train will leave Ernakulam at 18.15 hrs o­n 02nd March, 2021 and reach Hazrath Nizamuddin at 17.50 hrs, the third day

5. Train No.06005 Ernakulam  - Hazarat Nizamuddin o­ne-Way Super-Fast Special Train via Konkan:

With the composition of One- AC 3 Tier, Twelve- Sleeper Class Coaches, Six – General Second Class Coaches and Two- Luggage Cum Brake Vans, Train No.06005 Ernakulam  - Hazarat Nizamuddin o­ne-Way Super-Fast Special Train via Konkan will leave Ernakulam at 13.00 hrs o­n 01st March, 2021 and reach Hazarat Nizamuddin at 05.35 hrs, the third day

6. Train No.06006 Erode - Bilaspur o­ne-Way Super-Fast Special:

With the composition of One- AC 3 Tier, Three- Sleeper Class Coaches, Fourteen – General Second Class Coaches and Two- Luggage cum Brake Vans, Train No. 06006 Erode - Bilaspur o­ne-Way Super-Fast Special will leave Erode at 08.15 hrs o­n 01st March, 2021 and reach Bilaspur at 14.30 hrs, the third day

Reservation for the above trains will open at 08.00 hrs o­n 27th February, 2021 (Tomorrow) from Southern Railway End

 No Waiting List for Trains From 2024 -Clarification

Clarification regarding news being published about Waiting list for trains from 2024

Various newspapers and online publications have given wide coverage to draft National Rail Plan.

Some of the news reports appear to suggest that Railways has said that there would be No waiting list with effect from 2024 or only confirmed tickets would be available by 2024.

Railways would like to explain and clarify that efforts are being made to increase the capacity to make trains available on demand. This would reduce the possibility of passengers getting waitlisted. Wait list is a provision that remains whenever the demand for travelers in a given train is more than number of berths or seats available . The provision is not being done away "Waitlist" is a provision which act as a buffer to mitigate the fluctuations in demand and availability.

Railways will run additional daily special trains between Solapur-Dharwar and Solapur-Hubballi to clear the extra rush of passengers as per details given below:

1.Solapur-Dharwar Special 

07321  Daily special will leave  with effect from 08.12.2020 to 17.12.2020 and arrive Dharwar same day.

07322  Daily special will leave Dharwar with effect from 07.12.2020 to 16.12.2020  and arrive Solapur next day.

Timings and Halts: Same as 56904/56903  Solapur-Dharwar Passenger except Tadwal, Nimbal, Minchnal, Unkal and Navalur.

Composition: o­ne sleeper class and 10 second class seating.

2.Solapur -Hubballi Special 

07331  Daily special will leave Solapur with effect from 08.12.2020 to 17.12.2020 and arrive Hubballi same day.

07332  Daily special will leave Hubballi with effect from 07.12.2020 to 16.12.2020  and  arrive Solapur same day.

Timings and Halts: Same as 56906/56905 Solapur-Hubballi Passenger

Composition: o­ne sleeper class and 10 second class seating

Reservation: Bookings for special train no 07321 already open  at all computerised reservation centres and o­n website www.irctc.co.in.

With the composition of One AC First Class Coach, One AC 2-Tier Coach, Two AC 3-Tier Coaches, Thirteen Sleeper Class Coaches, Three General Second Class Coaches and Two Luggage cum Brake Vans,

• Train No. 06866 Thanjavur – Chennai Egmore Daily special train will leave Thanjavur at 21.50 hrs and reach Chennai Egmore 04.30 hrs, the next day. The first service from Thanjavur will be o­n 26th October, 2020 until further advice.In return direction 
• Train No. 06865 Chennai Egmore – Thanjavur Daily Special train will leave Chennai Egmore at 22.55 hrs and reach Thanjavur at 06.00 hrs the next day. The first service from Chennai Egmore will be o­n 27th October, 2020 until further advice.
• Stoppages:  Papanasam, Kumbakonam, Aduthurai, Kutralam Mayiladuthurai, Chidambaram, Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Tambaram and Mambalam.
• Train No. 06865 Chennai Egmore – Thanjavur Daily Special will also stop at Sirkazhi and  Vaithiswaran Koil.

2.Train No.06101 / 06102 Chennai Egmore- Kollam – Chennai Egmore Daily Special Trains

With the composition of Two AC 3-Tier Coaches, Eight Sleeper Class Coaches, Two General Second Class Coaches and Two Luggage cum Brake Vans, 

• Train No. 06101 Chennai Egmore - Kollam Daily special train will leave Chennai Egmore at 17.00 hrs and reach Kollam 08.45 hrs, the next day. The first service from Chennai Egmore will be o­n 25th October, 2020 until further advice.In return direction 
• Train No. 06102 Kollam - Chennai Egmore Daily Special will leave Kollam at 12.00 hrs and reach Chennai Egmore at 03.05 hrs the next day. The first service from Kollam will be o­n 26th October, 2020 until further advice.
• Stoppages: Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Vridhachallam, Tiruchchirappalli, Dindugal, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Srivilliputhur, Rajaplayam, Sankarankoil, Kadayanallur, Tenkasi, Sengottai, Punnalur, Avaneswaram, Kottarakara and Kundara.
• Train No. 06102 Kollam – Chennai Egmore Daily special train will also stop at Sivakasi.

3.Train No.02653 / 02654 Chennai Egmore- Tiruchchirappalli – Chennai Egmore Daily Superfast Special Trains

With the composition of One AC First Class Coach, Three AC 2-Tier Coaches, Five AC 3-Tier Coaches, Nine Sleeper Class Coaches, Three General Second Class Coaches and Two Luggage cum Brake Vans.

• Train No. 02653 Chennai Egmore - Tiruchchirappalli Daily Superfast special train will leave Chennai Egmore at 23.15 hrs and reach Tiruchchirappalli 04.45 hrs, the next day. The first service from Chennai Egmore will be o­n 27th October, 2020 until further advice.Similarly, 
• Train No. 02654 Tiruchchirappalli - Chennai Egmore Daily Special will leave Tiruchchirappalli at 22.45 hrs and reach Chennai Egmore at 04.15 hrs the next day. The first service from Tiruchchirappalli will be o­n 26th October, 2020 until further advice.
• Stoppages: Mambalam, Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Vridhachallam, Ariyalur, Lalgudi, Srirangam and Tiruchchirappalli Town.

Reservations for the above trains will open at 08.00 hrs tomorrow 24th October 2020
