CHANGES IN PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES
According priority to Passenger Safety and Safety of train operations, as a part of o­ngoing Engineering works, Line Block/Power Block is permitted in Chennai Egmore – Villupuram section.
 Track maintenance work will be carried out between Chengalpattu and Singaperumalkoil o­n 01st, 03rd, 06th, 07th and 08th September, 2019 from 11.15 hrs to 13.15 hrs. (2 hours).
In view of the above line block, there will be changes in the pattern of few train services. The inconvenience caused to passengers is regretted. Passengers are requested to cooperate with Railways in ensuring smooth train operations.
Partial cancellation of trains services
Train No. 40619 Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu EMU local leaving Chennai Beach at 09.30 hrs o­n 01st and 08th September, 2019 is partially cancelled between Singaperumalkoil and Chengalpattu. This train will run from Chennai Beach to Singaperumalkoil.
Train No. 40621 Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu EMU local leaving Chennai Beach at 10.20 hrs o­n 01st and 08th September, 2019 is partially cancelled between Singaperumalkoil and Chengalpattu. This train will run from Chennai Beach to Singaperumalkoil.
Train No. 40623 Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu EMU local leaving Chennai Beach at 11.00 hrs o­n 01st and 08th September, 2019 is partially cancelled between Singaperumalkoil and Chengalpattu. This train will run from Chennai Beach to Singaperumalkoil.
Train No. 40628 Chengalpattu - Chennai Beach EMU local leaving Chengalpattu at 11.30 hrs o­n 01st and 08th September, 2019 is partially cancelled between Chengalpattu and Singaperumalkoil. This train will run from Singaperumalkoil to Chennai Beach.
Train No. 40630 Chengalpattu - Chennai Beach EMU local leaving Chengalpattu at 12.20 hrs o­n 01st and 08th September, 2019 is partially cancelled between Chengalpattu and Singaperumalkoil. This train will run from Singaperumalkoil to Chennai Beach.
Train No. 40632 Chengalpattu - Chennai Beach EMU local leaving Chengalpattu at 13.00 hrs o­n 01st and 08th September, 2019 is partially cancelled between Chengalpattu and Singaperumalkoil. This train will run from Singaperumalkoil to Chennai Beach.
Train No. 40854 Tirumalpur - Chennai Beach EMU local leaving Tirumalpur at 10.40 hrs o­n 01st and 08th September, 2019 is partially cancelled between Chengalpattu and Chennai Beach. This train will run from Tirumalpur to Chengalpattu.
Train No. 40525 Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu EMU local leaving Chennai Beach at 10.08 hrs o­n 03rd, 06th and 07th September, 2019 is partially cancelled between Singaperumalkoil and Chengalpattu. This train will run from Chennai Beach to Singaperumalkoil.
Train No. 40527 Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu EMU local leaving Chennai Beach at 10.56 hrs o­n 03rd, 06th and 07th September, 2019 is partially cancelled between Singaperumalkoil and Chengalpattu. This train will run from Chennai Beach to Singaperumalkoil.
Train No. 40529 Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu EMU local leaving Chennai Beach at 11.48 hrs o­n 03rd, 06th and 07th September, 2019 is partially cancelled between Singaperumalkoil and Chengalpattu. This train will run from Chennai Beach to Singaperumalkoil.
Train No. 40532 Chengalpattu - Chennai Beach EMU local leaving Chengalpattu at 11.30 hrs o­n 03rd, 06th and 07th September, 2019 is partially cancelled between Chengalpattu and Singaperumalkoil. This train will run from Singaperumalkoil to Chennai Beach.
Train No. 40534 Chengalpattu - Chennai Beach EMU local leaving Chengalpattu at 12.20 hrs o­n 03rd, 06th and 07th September, 2019 is partially cancelled between Chengalpattu and Singaperumalkoil. This train will run from Singaperumalkoil to Chennai Beach
Train No. 40536 Chengalpattu - Chennai Beach EMU local leaving Chengalpattu at 13.00 hrs o­n 03rd, 06th and 07th September, 2019 is partially cancelled between Chengalpattu and Singaperumalkoil. This train will run from Singaperumalkoil to Chennai Beach.
Train No. 40804 Tirumalpur - Chennai Beach EMU local leaving Tirumalpur at 10.40 hrs o­n 03rd, 06th and 07th September, 2019 is partially cancelled between Chengalpattu and Chennai Beach. This train will run from Tirumalpur to Chengalpattu.
A passenger special will be operated from Chengalpattu to Chennai Beach leaving Chengalpattu at 13.15 hrs o­n 01st, 03rd, 06th, 07th and 08th September, 2019.

CHANGE IN THE PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICE
Line Block and Power Block is permitted in Chennai – Chennai Beach section at Chennai Beach and Royapuram yards from 23.30 hrs to 03.30 hrs (4 hours) from 17.05.2019 to 22.05.2019 for machine packing of points and crossovers. Details of the Block and repercussion of train services are given below.
Change of originating / Destination station:
• Train No.42608 Gummudipundi – Chennai Beach EMU local leaving Gummudipundi at 21.40 hrs will be partially cancelled between Korukkupet and Chennai Beach and will instead be diverted to MMC from 17th to 21st May, 2019.
• Train No.43801 Chennai Beach – Arakkonam EMU local leaving Chennai Beach at 01.20 hrs will leave at 01.25 hrs from MMC instead of Chennai Beach from 18th to 22nd May, 2019.

CHENNAI BEACH – CHENGALPATTU – ARAKONAM CIRCULAR TRAINS APPROVED
Railway Board has approved the Southern Railway proposal for introduction of two circular trains between Chennai Beach – Arakkonam – Tirumalpur and also approved the extension of local Train Services as follows:-
  • Chennai Beach to Tirumalpur EMU Train Nos.40705, 40707 and 40907 will be  extended upto Arakkonam
  • Tirumalpur to Chennai Beach EMU Train Nos.40712, 40702 and 40706 will be  extended to run from Arakkonam

EMU Train No.40803 Chennai Beach to Kanchipuram will be extended upto Tirumalpur and Train No.40804  Kanchipuram to Chennai Beach will be extended to run from Tirumalpur.
This will be implemented o­n completion of detour line between Takkolam and Arakkonam Jn.

CHANGES IN PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES
Due to Line Block permitted from 11.45 hrs to 14.15 hrs for 3 days from 27thJune to 29th June 2018, for the Engineering work of Through Rail Renewal and Welding work between Singaperumalkoil and Chengalpattu in Chennai – Villupuram section, the following will be the changes in train services from 27thto 29th June 2018.
TRAINS PARTIALLY CANCELLED o­n 27TH, 28TH AND 29TH JUNE 2018
The following 6 EMU trains will be partially cancelled between SINGAPERUMAL KOIL and CHENGALPATTU o­n 27th, 28th and 29th June 2018.
·Train No.40529 Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu EMU leaving Chennai Beach at 11.02 hrs will be partially cancelled between Singaperumalkoil and Chengalpattu.
·Train No.40531 Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu EMU leaving Chennai Beach at 11.55 hrs will be partially cancelled between Singaperumalkoil and Chengalpattu.
·Train No.40533 Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu EMU leaving Chennai Beach at 12.30 hrs will be partially cancelled between Singaperumalkoil and Chengalpattu.
·Train No.40538 Chengalpattu – Chennai Beach EMU leaving Chengalpattu at 13.00 hrs will be partially cancelled between Singaperumalkoil and Chengalpattu.

CHANGES IN TRAIN SERVICES IN CHENNAI - VILLUPURAM SECTION
Due to Line Block and Power Block to facilitate engineering works for construction of two bridges between Vandalur – Guduvancheri in Chennai – Chengalpattu section, changes will be made in the pattern of train services on 24.06.2018, Sunday as detailed below.
REPURCUSSIONS TO SUBURBAN TRAIN SERVICES
A. The following MEMU trains will be fully cancelled o­n 24.06.2018
1.Train No.66045 Melmaruvathur – Villupuram MEMU passenger.
2.Train No.66046 Villupuram – Melmaruvathur MEMU passenger.
B. The following suburban trains will be partially cancelled between Melmaruvathur / Tirumalpur / Chengalpattu – Tambaram.These trains will run o­nly from Tambaram to Chennai Beach o­n 24.06.2018
1.Chengalpattu – Chennai Beach EMU suburban trains, scheduled to leave Chengalpattu at 08.25, 08.45, 09.40, 10.50, 11.50, 12.15, 13.00, 13.50, 14.25, 15.15, 15.40, 16.35, 17.00, 17.30, 18.05 & 18.40 hrs., will be partially cancelled between Chengalpattu – Tambaram.
2.Tirumalpur – Chennai Beach EMU suburban trains, scheduled to leave Tirumalpur at 08.00, 10.25, 13.45 & 17.10 hrs., will be partially cancelled between Tirumalpur – Tambaram.
3.Melmaruvathur – Chennai Beach EMU suburban train, scheduled to leave Melmaruvathur at 15.30 hrs., will be partially cancelled between Melmaruvathur – Tambaram.
There will not be suburban train services from Chengalpattu towards Chennai Beach after 08.10 hrs. and upto 19.25 hrs.
C. The following suburban trains will be partially cancelledbetween Tambaram – Chengalpattu / Tirumalpur / Melmaruvathur.These trains will run o­nly from Chennai Beach to Tambaram o­n 24.06.2018
1.Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu EMU suburban trains, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 06.45, 07.38, 09.00, 09.35, 10.15, 11.00, 12.00, 12.30, 13.15, 13.45, 14.15, 14.45, 15.40, 16.10, 16.50 & 17.20 hrs., will be partially cancelled between Tambaram – Chengalpattu.
2.Chennai Beach – Tirumalpur EMU suburban trains, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 07.05, 09.50, 13.30 & 18.00 hrs., will be partially cancelled between Tambaram - Tirumalpur.
3.Chennai Beach – Melmaruvathur EMU suburban train, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 08.25 hrs., will be partially cancelled between Tambaram - Melmaruvathur.
There will not be suburban train services from Tambaram towards Chengalpattu / Tirumalpur / Melmaruvathur after 07.25 hrs. and upto 18.35 hrs.
REPURCUSSIONS TO EXPRESS TRAIN SERVICES
A. The following express train services will reach Chennai Egmore lateon 24.06.2018
1.Train No.16106 Tiruchendur – Chennai Egmore Chendur Express, scheduled to reach Chennai Egmore at 11.25 hrs., will reach Chennai Egmore late by 1 hour and 10 minutes.
2.Train No.12606 Karaikkudi – Chennai Egmore Pallavan Express, scheduled to reach Chennai Egmore at 12.10 hrs., will reach Chennai Egmore late by 1 hour and 10 minutes.
3.Train No.12636 Madurai – Chennai Egmore Vaigai Express, scheduled to reach Chennai Egmore at 14.35 hrs., will reach Chennai Egmore late by 1 hour and 10 minutes.
B. The following express train services will be rescheduled o­n 24.06.2018
1.Train No.12635 Chennai Egmore – Madurai Vaigai Express, scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 13.40 hrs., will be rescheduled to leave late by 20 minutes at 14.00 hrs.
2.Train No.12605 Chennai Egmore – Karaikkudi Pallavan Express, scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 15.45 hrs., will be rescheduled to leave late by 15 minutes at 16.00 hrs.
3.Train No.17651 Chengalpattu – Kacheguda Express, scheduled to leave Chengalpattu at 15.35 hrs., will be rescheduled to leave late by 3 hours.
4.Train No.17643 Chengalpattu – Kakinada Port Circar Express, scheduled to leave Chengalpattu at 16.00 hrs., will be rescheduled to leave late by 3 hours.
5.Train No.12637 Chennai Egmore – Madurai Pandian Express, scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore to leave at 21.40 hrs., will be rescheduled to leave late by 1 hour.
C. The following express train services will be regulated o­n 24.06.2018
1.Train No.16796 Tiruchchirappalli – Chennai Egmore Cholan Express will be regulated at Kattangulathur (between Chengalpattu – Tambaram) for 2 hours and reach Chennai Egmore late by 2 hours.
2.Train No.11017 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Karaikal Express will be regulated at Vandalur (between Tambaram – Chengalpattu) for 30 minutes.

CHANGES IN PATTERN OF SUBURBAN TRAIN SERVICES
Due to Line Block & Power Block to facilitate engineering works pertaining to laying of the 3rd& 4th railway lines between Chennai Beach – Korukkupet, changes will be made in the pattern of suburban train services from 23.05.2018 to 22.06.2018 as detailed below.
A.The originating station of the following suburban train service will be changed from Chennai Beach to MMC railway station.
·Train No.43801 Chennai Beach – Arakkonam EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 01.20 hrs., will instead leave from MMC at 01.20 hrs.Consequently, the service between Chennai Beach – Washermenpet will remain partially cancelled.
B.The destination station of the following suburban train service will be changed from Chennai Beach to MMC railway station.
·Train No.42608 Gummidipundi – Chennai Beach EMU local, scheduled to leave Gummidipundi at 21.40 hrs. and reach Chennai Beach railway station, will instead reach MMC railway station.Consequently, the service between Washermenpet – Chennai Beach will remain partially cancelled.

Due to Line Block and Power Block to facilitate engineering works for provision of 3rd & 4th lines between Chennai Beach – Korukkupet, changes will be made in the pattern of train services 31.03.2018 & 01.04.2018 as explained below.
I.ON 31.03.2018
A.The following trains will be diverted.
1.Sulurpeta – MMC EMU local, scheduled to leave Sulurpeta at 19.55 hrs., will be diverted to reach Chennai Beach.
2.Gummidipundi – Chennai Beach EMU local, scheduled to leave Gummidipundi at 21.40 hrs. will be diverted to reach MMC.
B.The following train will be partially cancelled.
·Velachery – Avadi EMU local, scheduled to leave Velachery at 22.30 hrs., will be partially cancelled between Chennai Beach – Avadi.The tain will run from Velachery to Chennai Beach o­nly.
II.ON 01.04.2018
A.The following trains will be diverted.
1.Chennai Beach – Arakkonam EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 01.20 hrs. will instead leave from MMC.
2.Avadi – Chennai Beach EMU local, scheduled to leave Avadi at 08.45 hrs., will be diverted to reach MMC.
3.PTMS – Chennai Beach EMU local, scheduled to leave PTMS at 08.40 hrs., will be diverted to reach MMC.
4.Sulurpeta – Chennai Beach EMU local, scheduled to leave Sulurpeta at 07.25 hrs., will be diverted to reach MMC.
B.The following trains will be fully cancelled.
1.Chennai Beach – Ponneri EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 05.30 hrs.
2.Chennai Beach – Thiruvallur EMU locals, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 05.30, 06.15 & 09.50 hrs.
3.Chennai Beach – Arakkonam EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 04.20 hrs.
4.Chennai Beach – Avadi passenger specials, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 08.30 & 10.30 hrs.
5.Ponneri – Chennai Beach EMU local, scheduled to leave Ponneri at 07.00 hrs.
6.Avadi – Chennai Beach EMU locals, scheduled to leave Avadi at 04.10, 04.25, 06.05, 07.10 & 07.40 hrs.
7.Arakkonam – Chennai Beach EMU local, scheduled to leave Arakkonam at 04.00 hrs.
C.The following train will be partially cancelled.
·Chennai Beach – PTMS EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 09.10 hrs., will be partially cancelled between Chennai Beach – Avadi.The train will run from Avadi to PTMS o­nly.
D.The following train will be rescheduled.
·Chennai Beach – Gummidipundi EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 09.40 hrs., will leave Chennai Beach late by 20 minutes, at 10.00 hrs.
III.CHANGES IN EXPRESS TRAIN SERVICES
A.The following trains will be rescheduled o­n 31.03.2018.
1.Train No.17644 Kakinada Port – Chengalpattu Circar express, scheduled to leave Kakinada Port at 14.30 hrs. o­n 31.03.2018, will be rescheduld to leave late by 2 hours.
2.Train No.17652 Kacheguda – Chengalpattu express, scheduled to leave Kacheguda at 16.30 hrs. o­n 31.03.2018, will be rescheduled to leave late by 2 hours.
B.The following train will be regulated o­n 01.04.2018.
·Train No.12651 Madurai – Hazrat Nizamuddin express, scheduled to pass through Chengalpattu at 07.28 / 07.30 hrs. o­n 01.04.2018, will be regulated suitably at Chengalpattu.
C.The following express train will be diverted o­n 01.04.2018.
·Train No.12164 Chennai Egmore – Dadar express, scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 06.50 hrs. o­n 01.04.2018, will be diverted to run via Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Thirumalpur, Arakkonam and Tiruttani to reach Renigunta.

Due to Line Block to facilitate engineering works in Chennai Beach – Velachery section, changes will be made in the pattern of train services on 06th & 07thJanuary, 2018 as explained below.
On 06.01.2018, Saturday
A.The following suburban train services will be partially cancelled between Chennai Beach – Velachery o­n 06.01.2018.These trains will run o­nly upto Chennai Beach.
1.Avadi – Velachery EMU local, scheduled to leave Avadi at 08.45, 12.10 & 14.40 hrs.
2.Sulurpeta – Velachery EMU local, scheduled to leave Sulurpeta at 07.25 hrs.
3.Pattabiram Military Siding – Velachery EMU local, scheduled to leave Pattabiram Military Siding at 08.45 hrs.
4.Gummudipundi – Velachery EMU local, scheduled to leave Gummidipundi at 08.50 hrs.
5.Tiruttani – Velachery EMU local, scheduled to leave Tiruttani at 08.50 hrs.
6.Thiruvallur – Velachery EMU local, scheduled to leave Thiruvallur at 11.05 & 13.40 hrs.

In effect,
·There will be no MRTS service from Chennai Beach to Velachery after 09.35 hrs. and upto 16.00 hrs. o­n 06.01.2018.
·There will be no MRTS service from Velachery to Chennai Beach after 09.35 hrs. and upto 16.00 hrs. o­n 06.01.2018.

The following MRTS services will be fully cancelled o­n 07.01.2018.
1.Chennai Beach – Velachery MRTS services, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 09.50, 10.00, 10.20, 10.40, 11.00, 11.20, 11.40, 12.00, 12.20, 12.40, 13.00, 13.20, 13.40, 14.00, 14.20, 14.40, 15.00, 15.20 & 15.40 hrs. will be fully cancelled.
2.Velachery – Chennai Beach MRTS services, scheduled to leave Velachery at 09.50, 10.10, 10.30, 10.40, 10.50, 11.10, 11.30, 11.50, 12.10, 12.30, 12.50, 13.10, 13.30, 13.50, 14.10, 14.30, 14.50, 15.10, 15.30 & 15.50 hrs. will be fully cancelled.
In effect,
·There will be no MRTS service from Chennai Beach to Velachery after 09.40 hrs. and upto 16.00 hrs. o­n 07.01.2018.
·There will be no MRTS service from Velachery to Chennai Beach after 09.30 hrs. and upto 16.10 hrs. o­n 07.01.2018.

CHANGES IN PATTERN OF SUBURBAN TRAIN SERVICES
Due to Line Block and Power Block to facilitate engineering works between Kattangulathur – Singaperumal Koil in Chennai – Chengalpattu section, changes will be made in the pattern of suburban train services on 16th, 18th, 20th & 22ndNovember, 2017 as detailed below.
Partial cancellation of suburban train services o­n 16th, 18th, 20th & 22nd November, 2017.
1.Train No.40501 Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 03.55 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Guduvancheri – Chengalpattu.The train will run from Chennai Beach to Guduvancheri o­nly.
2.Train No.40503 Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 04.40 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Tambaram - Chengalpattu.The train will run from Chennai Beach to Tambaram o­nly.

Due to Line Block to facilitate engineering works between MMC – Avadi in Chennai – Thiruvallur section, changes will be made in the pattern of suburban train services on 28.10.2017 and 29.10.2017 as explained below.
A.The following suburban train services, scheduled to leave from MMC, will be cancelled on 28.10.2017 and 29.10.2017 
1.MMC – Thiruvallur EMU locals, scheduled to leave MMC at 09.30, 09.45, 11.30, 12.10 & 13.20 hrs. will be cancelled.
2.MMC – Tiruttani EMU locals, scheduled to leave MMC at 10.00 & 11.45 hrs. will be cancelled.
3.MMC – Avadi EMU locals, scheduled to leave MMC at 09.00, 10.05, 10.15, 10.45 & 12.35 hrs. will be cancelled.
4.MMC – Kadambattur EMU locals, scheduled to leave MMC at 10.30 & 12.00 hrs. will be cancelled.
5.MMC – Arakkonam EMU locals, scheduled to leave MMC at 11.05, 12.50 & 13.45 hrs. will be cancelled.

3.Chennai Beach – Avadi EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 11.05 hrs. will be cancelled.

C.The following suburban train services, scheduled to leave from suburban stations to MMC, will be cancelled on 28.10.2017 and 29.10.2017
1.Thiruvallur – MMC EMU locals, scheduled to leave Thiruvallur at 09.10, 10.05, 10.55, 11.30, 12.00, 13.05 & 14.40 hrs. will be cancelled.
2.Avadi – MMC EMU locals, scheduled to leave Avadi at 09.15, 09.55 & 11.05 hrs. will be cancelled.
3.Arakkonam – MMC EMU locals, scheduled to leave Arakkonam at 08.55 & 12.00 hrs. will be cancelled.
4.Pattabiram E Depot – MMC EMU locals, scheduled to leave Pattabiram E Depot at 10.30, 11.25 & 12.50 hrs. will be cancelled.

·The passenger special trains from MMC / Chennai Beach towards suburban stations will not stop at Vyasarpadi Jiva, Korattur, Pattaravakkam, Thirumullaivoil, Annanur, Avadi, Hindu College and Pattabiram. 
·The passenger special trains from suburban stations towards MMC / Chennai Beach will not stop at Pattabiram, Hindu College, Annanur, Thirumullaivoil, Ambattur, Pattaravakkam, Korattur, Perambur Loco Works, Perambur Carriage Works and Vyasarpadi Jiva.
