CHANGES IN PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES
According priority to Passenger Safety and Safety of train operations, as a part of o­ngoing Engineering works, Line Block/Power Block is permitted in Arakkonam - Jolarpettai section.Track maintenance work will be carried out at Katpadi Yard o­n 01st, 02nd, 04th and 05th September, 2019 at various timings.
In view of the above line block, there will be changes in the pattern of few train services. The inconvenience caused to passengers is regretted. Passengers are requested to cooperate with Railways in ensuring smooth train operations.
Cancellation of Train Services
Train No. 56010 Vellore Cantonment – Arakkonam Passenger leaving Vellore Cantonment at 17.10 hrs o­n 01st, 02nd and 04thSeptember, 2019 is cancelled.
Train NO. 56013 Arakkonam – Vellore Cantonment Passenger leaving Arakkonam at 13.05 hrs o­n 01st September, 2019 is cancelled.
Partial Cancellation of train Services
Train No. 56122 Jolarpettai – Arakkonam Passenger leaving Jolarpettai at 13.30 hrs o­n 02nd September, 2019 is partially cancelled between Latteri – Arakkonam. This train will leave from Jolarpettai to Latteri.
Train No. 56122 Jolarpettai – Arakkonam Passenger leaving Jolarpettai at 13.30 hrs o­n 04th September, 2019 is partially cancelled between Gudiyattam – Arakkonam. This train will leave from Jolarpettai to Gudiyattam.
Passenger Special
A passenger special will be operated from Latteri to Arakkonam leaving Latteri at 18.10 hrs o­n 02nd and 05th September, 2019.
A passenger special will be operated from Gudiyattam to Arakkonam leaving Gudiyattam at 18.10 hrs o­n 02nd and 04th September, 2019.

Train No. 22637 Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G. Ramachandran Central – Mangalore Central West Cost Express to be regulated/delayed for about 115 minutes at Sevur o­n 01st September, 2019.
Train No. 22626 KSR Bengaluru - Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G. Ramachandran Central AC Double Decker Express to be regulated/delayed for about 40 minutes at Latteri o­n 05th September, 2019.

1. Train No 43405 leaving MMC at 8.20 hrs departure Arakkonam at 10.40 hrs will reach Tiruttani at 11.00 hrs.
2. Train No:.43409 leaving MMC at 11.05 hrs departure Arakkonam at 13.05 hrs will reach Tiruttani at 13.20 hrs.
3. Train No.43411 train leaving MMC at 12.50 hrs departure Arakkonam at 14.50 hrs will reach Tiruttani at 15.10 hrs.
4. Train No 43418 leaving Tiruttani at 11.30 hrs. departure Arakkonam at 11.50 hrs will reach MMC at 13.50 hrs
5. Train No 43420 leaving Tiruttani at 13.30 hrs departure Arakkonam at 13.50 hrs will reach MMC at 15.45 hrs.

Line Block is permitted in Arakkonam – Jolarpettai section between Vinnamangalam – Gudiyattam o­n UP line work for Ballast Cleaning Machine work from 09.05.2019 to 12.05.2019. The following trains are regulated given below.

  • Train No. 22626 KSR Bengaluru - Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G. Ramachandran Central AC Double Decker Express to be regulated at Vinnamangalam for about 80 minutes.
  • Train No. 13352 Alappuzha – Dhanbad Express to be regulated at Vaniyambadi for about 70 minutes.
  • Train No. 12640 KSR Bengaluru - Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G. Ramachandran Central Brindavan Express to be regulated at Jolarpettai for about 80 minutes.

  • Train No. 17209 KSR Bengaluru – Kakinada port Shesadhri Express to be regulated at Vinnamangalam for about 95 minutes.
  • Train No. 12245 Howrah – Yesvantpur Duronto Express to be regulated at Vinnamangalam for about 200 minutes.

CHENNAI BEACH – CHENGALPATTU – ARAKONAM CIRCULAR TRAINS APPROVED
Railway Board has approved the Southern Railway proposal for introduction of two circular trains between Chennai Beach – Arakkonam – Tirumalpur and also approved the extension of local Train Services as follows:-
  • Chennai Beach to Tirumalpur EMU Train Nos.40705, 40707 and 40907 will be  extended upto Arakkonam
  • Tirumalpur to Chennai Beach EMU Train Nos.40712, 40702 and 40706 will be  extended to run from Arakkonam

EMU Train No.40803 Chennai Beach to Kanchipuram will be extended upto Tirumalpur and Train No.40804  Kanchipuram to Chennai Beach will be extended to run from Tirumalpur.
This will be implemented o­n completion of detour line between Takkolam and Arakkonam Jn.

CHANGES IN PATTERN OF SUBURBAN TRAIN SERVICES
Due to Line Block & Power Block to facilitate engineering works pertaining to laying of the 3rd& 4th railway lines between Chennai Beach – Korukkupet, changes will be made in the pattern of suburban train services from 23.05.2018 to 22.06.2018 as detailed below.
A.The originating station of the following suburban train service will be changed from Chennai Beach to MMC railway station.
·Train No.43801 Chennai Beach – Arakkonam EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 01.20 hrs., will instead leave from MMC at 01.20 hrs.Consequently, the service between Chennai Beach – Washermenpet will remain partially cancelled.
B.The destination station of the following suburban train service will be changed from Chennai Beach to MMC railway station.
·Train No.42608 Gummidipundi – Chennai Beach EMU local, scheduled to leave Gummidipundi at 21.40 hrs. and reach Chennai Beach railway station, will instead reach MMC railway station.Consequently, the service between Washermenpet – Chennai Beach will remain partially cancelled.

CHANGES IN PATTERN OF SUBURBAN TRAIN SERVICES
CHENNAI – CHENGALPATTU SECTION
Due to Line Block to facilitate engineering works between Pallavaram and St Thomas Mount in Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu section, changes will be made in the pattern of train services for a few days from 22/02/2018 to 24/02/2018 and from 26/02/2018 to 02/03/2018 as explained below:-
Two trains, viz, Train No.40574 Chengalpattu – Chennai Beach EMU local scheduled to leave Chengalpattu at 23.10 hrs and Train No.40158 Tambaram – Chennai Beach EMU local scheduled to leave Tambaram at 23.30 hrs will be operated o­n the Express Line instead of the Suburban Line between Tambaram and Chennai Egmore from 22/02/2018 to 24/02/2018 and from 26/02/2018 to 02/03/2018.
CHENNAI -ARAKKONAM SECTION
Due to Line Block and Power Block to facilitate engineering works at Kadambattur yard in Chennai – Arakkonam section from 09.00 hrs to 13.00 hrs, changes will be made in the pattern of suburban train services for four days o­n 22nd, 23rd, 26th and 27th February2018 as explained below.
The following suburban train services will be dealt o­n fast line from Thiruvallur to Arakkonam and will not stop at SenjiPanambakkam railway station.
·MMC – Arakkonam EMU locals, scheduled to leave MMC at 08.20, 09.10 & 11.05 hrs.
·MMC – Tiruttani EMU locals, scheduled to leave MMC at 10.00 & 11.45 hrs.
·MMC – Kadambattur EMU locals, scheduled to leave MMC at 10.30 hrs and 12.00 hrs.

The following special trains will be run to clear the extra rush of traffic.
1.Special fare special train from Kochuveli to Chennai Central
Train No.06028 Kochuveli – Chennai Central special fare special train will leave Kochuveli at 02.00 hrs. o­n 15th January, 2018 and reach Chennai Central at 19.50 hrs. the same day.
Composition:Sleeper Class – 10, General Second Class – 3& Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.
Stoppages:Kollam, Kayankulam, Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanaseri, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrisur, Ottapalam, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam and Perambur.
2.Special fare special train from Kochuveli to Hyderabad (via Katpadi)
Train No.07116 Kochuveli – Hyderabad special fare special train will leave Kochuveli at 07.45 hrs. o­n Mondays from 22.01.2018 to 02.04.2018 and reach Hyderabad at 14.00 hrs. the next day.
Composition:AC 2-tier – 1, AC 3-tier – 1, Sleeper Class – 16 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2 coaches.
Stoppages:Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Ottapalam, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Vaniyambadi, Ambur, Katpadi, Chittoor, Tirupati, Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, o­ngole, Tenali, Guntur, Piduguralla, Nalgonda and Secunderabad.

 In order to clear extra rush of passengers three Superfast special trains on special fare will be run between Bengaluru Cant -Howrah & Bengaluru Cant – Malda Town as detailed below:-
1.Bengaluru Cant– Howrah – Bengaluru Cant Superfast  Special Trains:
Train No. 02505 Bengaluru Cant - Howrah Superfast special train on special fare will depart  Bengaluru Cant at 23:40 hrs on 25th August, 2017 (Friday) and arrive Howrah at 10:55 hrs on Sunday.
In the return direction, Train No. 02506 Howrah - Bengaluru Cant special will depart  Howrah at 01:05 hrs on 28th August, 2017 (Monday) and arrive  Bengaluru Cant at 11:40 hrs on the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Krishnarajapuram, Bangarpet, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Chennai Central, o­ngole, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Berhmapur, Balugan, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur K Road, Bhadrakh, Balasore, Kharagpur and Satragachi stations in both the directions.
These trains consist of  AC First class, AC II Tier and  AC III Tier coaches.
2.Bengaluru Cant – Malda Town o­ne  way  Superfast  Special Train:
Train No. 02521 Bengaluru Cant – Malda Town one way Superfast special train on special fare will depart Bengaluru Cant at 10:15 hrs on 25th August, 2017 (Friday) and arrive Malda Town at 00:30 hrs on Sunday.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Whitefield, Katpadi, Perambur, Vijayawada, Duvvada, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Berhmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack,  Bhadrakh, Kharagpur, Howrah Jn and Rampur Hat stations in both the directions.
* These trains consist of  AC II Tier cum AC III Tier and  AC III Tier coaches.

Due to Line Block to facilitate engineering works between Avadi – Pattabiram West Siding in Chennai – Arakkonam section, the following changes will be made in the pattern of train services on 07th, 08th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 18th, 19th & 21st August, 2017.

1.Train No.66047 MMC – Tirupati MEMU, scheduled to leave MMC at 09.50 hrs., will be dealt on slow line from MMC to Thiruvallur and consequently will reach Renigunta late by 45 minutes.
2.Train No.66048 Tirupati – MMC MEMU, scheduled to reach MMC at 17.05 hrs., will reach MMC late by 45 minutes.

Due to Line Block and Power Block to facilitate engineering works for provision of Limited Use Subway at Nayudupeta yard and at Odur yard in Chennai – Gudur section, changes will be made in the pattern of train services as detailed below. 
On 08.08.2017, Tuesday 
A.The following express trains will run o­n diverted route. 
1.Train No.12841 Howrah – Chennai Central Coromandal express, scheduled to reach Chennai Central at 17.00 hrs. o­n 08.08.2017, will be diverted at Gudur to reach Chennai Central via Renigunta and Arakkonam.
2.Train No.12665 Howrah – Kanniyakumari express, scheduled to reach Chennai Egmore at 19.55 hrs. o­n 08.08.2017, will be diverted at Gudur to reach Chennai Egmore via Renigunta, Arakkonam and Chennai Beach.
3.Train No.12612 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Chennai Central Garib Rath express, scheduled to reach Chennai Central at 20.15 hrs. o­n 08.08.2017, will be diverted at Gudur to reach Chennai Central via Renigunta and Arakkonam.
4.Train No.22645 Indore – Thiruvananthapuram Ahilyanagari express, scheduled to reach Chennai Central at 23.20 hrs. o­n 08.08.2017, will be diverted at Gudur to reach Chennai Central via Renigunta and Arakkonam.
5.Train No.13351 Dhanbad – Alappuzha express, scheduled to reach Chennai Central at 01.25 hrs. o­n 09.08.2017, will be diverted at Gudur to reach Chennai Central via Renigunta and Arakkonam.(Stoppages at Nayudupeta and Sulurpeta will be skipped). 
B.The following MEMU trains will be fully cancelled o­n 08.08.2017 
1.Train No.66031 Sulurpeta – Nellore MEMU, scheduled to leave Sulurpeta at 15.45 hrs., will be fully cancelled.
2.Train No.66032 Nellore – Sulurpeta MEMU, scheduled to leave Nellore at 17.50 hrs., will be fully cancelled. 
C.The following MEMU train will be partially cancelled / diverted o­n 08.08.2017. 
·Train No.66036 Nellore – MMC MEMU, scheduled to leave Nellore at 16.00 hrs., will be partially cancelled between Gudur – MMC.The train will run from Nellore to Gudur o­nly.
On arrival at Gudur, this train will be operated as a passenger special train to MMC via Renigunta and Arakkonam. 
D.The following express train will be regulated. 
·Train No.12688 Dehradun – Madurai express will be regulated / delayed at Gudur for 45 minutes – from 23.40 hrs. of 08.08.2017 to 00.25 hrs. of 09.08.2017. 
On 15.08.2017, Tuesday 
A.The following express trains will run o­n diverted route. 
1.Train No.16093 Chennai Central – Lucknow express, scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 05.15 hrs. o­n 15.08.2017, will be diverted via Arakkonam and Renigunta.
2.Train No.22643 Ernakulam – Patna express, scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 06.30 hrs. o­n 15.08.2017, will be diverted via Arakkonam and Renigunta.
3.Train No.12390 Chennai Egmore – Gaya express, scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 07.00 hrs. o­n 15.08.2017, will be diverted via Arakkonam and Renigunta.
 B.The following train will be rescheduled. 
·Train No.12842 Chennai Central – Howrah Coromandal express, scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 08.45 hrs. o­n 15.08.2017, will be rescheduled to leave Chennai Central at 09.15 hrs. (late by 30 minutes). 
C.The following MEMU trains will be fully cancelled o­n 15.08.2017 
1.Train No.66029 Sulurpeta – Nellore MEMU, scheduled to leave Sulurpeta at 08.00 hrs., will be fully cancelled.
2.Train No.66030 Nellore – Sulurpeta MEMU, scheduled to leave Nellore at 10.00 hrs., will be fully cancelled. 
D.The following MEMU train will be regulated o­n 15.08.2017. 
·Train No.66035 MMC – Nellore MEMU, scheduled to leave MMC at 07.45 hrs., will be regulated / delayed at Doravarichatram for 15 minutes.

One Special Train From Chennai Central to LTT Mumbai
In order to clear extra rush a o­ne way special train will be run from Chennai Central to LTT Mumbai as per the following schedule:-

Accordingly, Train No. 06080 Chennai Central – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Mumbai special fare special train will depart Chennai Central  at 15:15 hrs o­n 1st July, 2017 (Saturday) and arrive LTT Mumbai at 16:00 hrs on Sunday.
Enroute, this special train will stop at Arakkonam, Renigunta, Kadapa, Yerraguntla, Gooty, Guntakal, Adoni, Mantralayam Road, Raichur, Yadgir, Wadi, Gulbarga,  Solapur, Pune and Kalyan stations.  
This special train will consist of twelve Sleeper Class and o­ne Luggage cum Brake van Coaches.

CHANGES IN PATTERN OF SUBURBAN TRAIN SERVICES

Due to Line Block to facilitate engineering works between Vyasarpadi – Villivakkam in Chennai – Arakkonam section, changes will be made in the pattern of suburban train services on 15th, 16th, 17th & 18th June, 2017 as detailed below.

1.Train No.43001 MMC – Avadi EMU local, scheduled to leave MMC at 00.15 hrs on 15th, 16th, 17th& 18th June, 2017, will be diverted to run o­n fast line from Vyasarpadi yard and consequently will not stop at Vyasarpadi Jiva, Korattur, Pattaravakkam, Thirumullaivoil and Annanur.

2.Train No.43801 Chennai Beach – Arakkonam EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 01.20 hrs on 15th, 16th, 17th & 18th June, 2017, will be diverted to run o­n fast line from Vyasarpadi yard and consequently will not stop at Vyasarpadi Jiva, Korattur, Pattaravakkam, Thirumullaivoil, Annanur, Hindu College and Pattabiram.

CHANGE IN PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES DUE TO LINE BLOCK

Due to line block and power block to facilitate engineering work at Arakkonam yard from 11.5.2017 to 30.5.2017, following changes will be made in the pattern of train services.
1.Train No.43801 Chennai Beach – Arakkonam EMU train scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 01.20 hrs. from 13th to 30th May 2017 will be regulated enroute at Tiruvalangadu for 35 minutes and will reach Arakkonam at 03.55 hrs. (25 minutes late)
2.Train No.22647 Korba – Thiruvananthapuram Express passing through Chennai Central at 23.20/23.50 hrs. on 14.5.2017, 21.5.2017 & 28.5.2017 will be regulated enroute for 90 minutes at Tiruvalangadu and will reach Jolarpettai late by 100 minutes.
3.Train No.12511 Gorakhpur – Thiruvananthapuram Raptisagar Express passing through Chennai Central at 23.20/23.50 hrs. on 15.5.2017, 22.5.2017 & 29.5.2017 will be regulated enroute for 90 minutes at Tiruvalangadu and will reach Jolarpettai late by 100 minutes.
4.Train No.22645 Indore – Thiruvananthapuram Ahilyanagari Express passing through Chennai Central at 23.20/23.50 hrs. on 16.5.2017, 23.5.2017 & 30.5.2017 will be regulated enroute for 90 minutes at Tiruvalangadu and will reach Jolarpettai late by 100 minutes.
5.Train No.12521 Barauni – Ernakulam Jn. Express passing through Chennai Central at 23.20/23.50 hrs. on 17.5.2017, 24.5.2017 & 31.5.2017 will be regulated enroute for 90 minutes at Tiruvalangadu and will reach Jolarpettai late by 100 minutes.
6.Train No.22647 Korba – Thiruvananthapuram Express passing through Chennai Central at 23.20/23.50 hrs. on 18.5.2017 & 25.5.2017 will be regulated enroute for 95 minutes at Tiruvalangadu and will reach Jolarpettai late by 105 minutes.
7.Train No.12511 Gorakhpur – Thiruvananthapuram Raptisagar Express passing through Chennai Central at 23.20/23.50 hrs. on 12.5.2017, 13.5.2017, 19.5.2017, 20.5.2017, 26.5.2017 & 27.5.2017 will be regulated enroute for 95 minutes at Tiruvalangadu and will reach Jolarpettai late by 105 minutes.
