Railways to run Pandharpur-Hubballi Ashadi Special Trains

Railways will run Ashadi  Ekadashi fully unreserved special trains between Hubballi and Pandharpur from 11.7.2022 to 14.7.2022. The details are as under:

  • Train No. 07351 special will leave Hubballi at 03.00 hrs daily from 11.7.2022 to 14.7.2022 and will reach Pandharpur at 11.45 hrs same day.
  • Train No. 07352 special will leave Pandharpur at 13.00 hrs daily from 11.7.2022 to 14.7.2022 and will reach Hubballi at 23.00 hrs same day.

Halts:  Dharwad, Alnavar, Londa, Khanapur, Belagavi, Sulebhavi, Suldhal, Pachhapur, Gokaka Road, Ghataprbha, Chikodi Road, Rayabag, Chinchli, Kudachi, Ugar Khurd, Shedbal, Vijayanagar, Miraj, Arag, Kavathe Mahankal, Dhalgoan, Jath Road, Sangola

Composition:  10 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class including 2 Luggage cum Guard’s brake vans

For unreserved coaches of 07321 and 07331, tickets can be booked at Solapur, Tikekarwadi and Hotgi station through UTS.

 RUNNING OF DAILY SPECIAL EXPRESS BETWEEN SSS HUBBALLI AND GANGAVATHI

South Western Railway has decided to run Train No. 07303/07304 SSS Hubballi –  Gangavathi – SSS Hubballi Daily Special Express with normal fare as detailed below:-

  • Train No. 07303 SSS Hubballi – Gangavathi Special Express will depart daily from Hubballi 17:20 hrs and arrive Gangavathi at 21:00 hrs o­n the same day with effect commencing journey from SSS Hubballi from 05.02.2021 to until further advice.
  • En route the train will arrive/depart Sisvinhalli – 17:39/17:40 hrs, Annigeri – 17:49/17:50 hrs, Gadag – 18:18/18:20 hrs, Bhanapur – 18:56/18:57 hrs, Koppal – 19:13/19:15 hrs, Ginigera – 19:28/19:30 hrs, Budagumpa – 19:44/19:45 hrs, Jabbalgudda – 19:59/20:00 hrs and Chikkabenakal – 20:15/20:16 hrs.
  • In the return direction Train No. 07304 Gangavathi – SSS Hubballi Special Express will depart daily from Gangavathi 06:00 hrs and arrive Hubballi at 09:30 hrs o­n the same day with effect commencing journey from Gangavathi from 06.02.2021 to until further advice.
  • En route the train will arrive/depart Chikkabenakal – 06:13/06:14 hrs, Jabbalgudda – 06:24/06:25 hrs, Budagumpa – 06:36/06:37 hrs, Ginigera – 06:46/06:48 hrs, Koppal – 06:58/07:00 hrs, Bhanapur – 07:11/07:12 hrs, Gadag – 07:53/07:55 hrs, Annigeri – 08:19/08:20 hrs and Sisvinhalli – 08:29/08:30 hrs.

The train will have a composition of 11 coaches comprising of ONE Second Class Sleeper Coach, EIGHTGeneral Second Class Coaches and TWO Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Vans.

All the norms of the State and Central Government regarding Covid-19 including social distancing, sanitization etc., may be followed in the trains and at the Railway stations. The train will have fully reserved service.

Daily Special trains between Solapur-Dharwar and Solapur-Hubballi

Railways will run additional daily special trains between Solapur-Dharwar and Solapur-Hubballi to clear the extra rush of passengers as per details given below:

1.Solapur-Dharwar Special 

07321  Daily special will leave  with effect from 08.12.2020 to 17.12.2020 and arrive Dharwar same day.

07322  Daily special will leave Dharwar with effect from 07.12.2020 to 16.12.2020  and arrive Solapur next day.

Timings and Halts: Same as 56904/56903  Solapur-Dharwar Passenger except Tadwal, Nimbal, Minchnal, Unkal and Navalur.

Composition: o­ne sleeper class and 10 second class seating.

2.Solapur -Hubballi Special 

07331  Daily special will leave Solapur with effect from 08.12.2020 to 17.12.2020 and arrive Hubballi same day.

07332  Daily special will leave Hubballi with effect from 07.12.2020 to 16.12.2020  and  arrive Solapur same day.

TRAVELLING KIT AVAILABLE AT HUBBALLI RAILWAY STATION
Trains are considered as second home for passengers.  In fact, the homely environment of trains makes  them the most preferred mode of transport for travelers.  Passengers, especially those who undertake long distance journeys, have to carry various things along with them to fulfil their needs while travelling. Toiletries like soap, toothpaste, toothbrush etc. are   such things needed to fresh up during the journey. All such toiletries needed to  freshen up are now made available in "Travelling Kit"  at Multipurpose stall in platform no. 2 of Hubballi railway station. Separate kits are available for men and women and each such kit costs Rs.49 .  The common items available in both kits are o­ne tooth paste, o­ne tooth brush, o­ne tongue cleaner, o­ne soap, o­ne shampoo sachet, o­ne comb, o­ne talcum powder, o­ne hair oil sachet.  In addition to this, the men’s kit contains o­ne ready razor while the women’s kit contains two hairpins, two hairbands and a bunch of safety pins. 
Passengers are responding well to this idea, for the ease it brings in.  It is planned to make this traveling kits available in Multipurpose stalls of other big stations also.
Railway is committed to make the passenger journey comfortable in every aspect and such initiatives will definitely go a long way  in achieving the goal of smooth travel.

SATELLITE OFFICE OF RAILWAY RECRUITMENT BOARD, BENGALURU INAUGURATED AT HUBBALLI
Shri Pralhad Joshi, Hon’ble Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal & Mines inaugurated the Satellite office of Railway Recruitment Board, Bengaluru at Old GM Office Building in Hubballi today (17.12.2019).  Shri Suresh Chanabasappa Angadi, Hon’ble Union Minister of State of Railways presided over the function.  Shri Jagadish Shettar, Hon’ble Minister of Large & Medium Scale Industries, Public Enterprises and District In-charge Minister of Dharwad;  Shri Arvind Bellad, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Assembly, Hubballi – Dharwad West;  Shri Pradeep Shettar, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Council were present.
 Shri Ajay Kumar Singh, GM/SWR welcomed the dignitaries and said that Indian Railways is the lifeline of the nation and holds the distinction of World’s largest employer. He further told that Railway is contributing and committed to socio economic development of the country by providing job opportunities to eligible youth. 21 Railway Recruitment Boards are nodal agencies for direct recruitment from level-II to level-VII posts of all technical and nontechnical cadre.  These RRBs function under Railway Recruitment Control Board, New Delhi. He informed that Hon'ble MoSR is instrumental in setting up of the satellite office at Hubli.
Shri Jagadish Shettar told that because of efforts of Shri Angadi, new RRB office is being opened here. He requested to give priority to new line works of Tumakuru – Davangere line, Dharwad – Kittur – Belagavi line and Hubballi - Ankola line.
Shri Pralhad Joshi, Hon'ble Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Coal & Mines in his address said that RRB Bengaluru was set up in 1982 and since to then, there was a demand to shift the same to Hubballi. He thanked Hon'ble MoSR for getting/setting up satellite RRB office at Hubballi, which will work under RRB, Bengaluru. Hon'ble Minister informed that every year almost more than 20,000 posts are being filled up in Indian Railways.  He told that Rs. 50 Lakh Crore will be pumped into Railway in next 5 years.
Shri Suresh Angadi, Hon'ble MoSR delivered presidential address and said that when he conducted a meeting with Chairman Railway Board and GM/SWR in Bengaluru, he enquired the prospect of shifting of RRB/Bengaluru Cantonment to Hubballi. Though Railway was agreeable for the proposal, State Government opined that  RRB at Bengaluru to be continued and branch office can be opened at Hubballi. He informed that all facilities available in RRB/Bengaluru Cantonment will be available at Hubballi too. He said that computers will be provided at this office to give opportunity if practising for aspirants from rural and not computer conversant , to prepare for computer based test
Hon'ble MoSR informed that Survey for Dharwad-Kittur-Belagavi has been completed and report is with Railway Board now. This line will be taken up o­n priority. He suggested that media shall give wide publicity to this RRB office at Hubballi so that youth of North Karnataka Districts are informed of and can make use of the same.
The role and responsibilities of the satellite office are as below,
1.    Coordinating with South Western Railway/Headquarters o­n all the matters related to Indenting, nomination of Officials for conducting of examination, Document Verification as well as supply of panel.
2.    Conducting Document Verification of the candidates selected from the region in Karnataka as well as from adjoining States.
3.    Counseling of candidates with respect to various notifications and to create awareness about various aspects of the recruitment process.
4.    Handling of all the representations and grievances from the candidates with respect to RRB/Bangalore.
Benefits of Satellite office of RRB at Hubballi
a) Creation of awareness among the job seeking candidates of the region about various Centralized Employment Notifications being issued by RRBs and the details of the entire recruitment process.
b)   Candidates of the region can have a direct access to the RRB office for any clarification or assistance in applying and participating in the exams.
c) Satellite office will facilitate motivation to the candidates applying for various RRB notifications and in spreading awareness about the transparent recruitment process of RRB and instill confidence to them that by constant efforts, practice and perseverance they can get into Railways.
d)   It is expected to increase in percentage of local candidates appearing and getting selected
RRB Bangalore, a pioneer in many of the initiatives in the recruitment process would also strive to make a positive impact through its Satellite office at Hubballi.

WALL OF KINDNESS AT BELAGAVI RAILWAY STATION
Public Store to help the poor and needy (Rack measuring 7 x 2 x 7 feet) has been installed in the premises of Belagavi Railway Station. This has been done similar to the Public Fridge donated at Hubballi Railway Station for providing food for the needy.
The rack has been donated jointly by Lions club of Belagavi and Hubballi Pearls Lions Club which was inaugurated last month. This Public Store is kept for the needy who cannot afford to purchase clothes, blankets, bed sheets, footwear and any other useful items that can be re-used.
This Public Store has been well appreciated by the travelling public who have come forward and deposit clothes and blankets for the needy.  Some passengers are also seen depositing fruits and eatables which are immediately picked up by the needy.

REVISION IN TIMINGS OF TRAINS
To facilitate engineering works for commissioning of automatic signaling between KSR Bengaluru– Bangalore Cantonment, the timings of the following trains are revised as detailed below :
1., Train No. 12608 KSR Bengaluru – Dr MGR Central Lalbagh Express leaving KSR Bengaluru o­n 10.10.2019 will depart from KSR Bengaluru at 06:30 hrs instead of 06:33 hrs and arrive/depart Bengaluru Cantonment at  06:40/06:42 hrs instead of 06:44/06:45 hrs effective from 10.10.2019. There is no change in timings of this train between Krishnarajapuram –Dr MGR Central.
2. Train No. 12610 Mysuru - Dr MGR Central Express leaving Mysuru o­n 10.10.2019 will arrive/depart KSR Bengaluru  at 07:45/08:00 hrs instead 07:45/08:02 hrs, Bengaluru Cantonment at  08:10/08:12 hrs instead of 08:14/08:15 hrs with effect from 10.10.2019. There is no change in timings of this train between Krishnarajapuram – Dr MGR Central.
3. Train No. 11006 Puducherry – Dadar Express leaving Puducherry o­n 13.10.2019, will arrive/depart Hubballi – 15:00/15:05 hrs instead of 15:05/15:10 hrs, Dharwad – 15:29/15:30 hrs instead of 15:39/15:40 hrs with effect from 13.10.2019. Following trains will be provided with o­ne minute temporary stoppage at Raybag Station from 07.10.2019 to 11.10.2019 for clearance of rush during Dussehra festival as detailed below:-
1.Train No. 17317 Hubballi - Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express commencing journey from Hubballi from 07.10.2019 to 11.10.2019 will arrive / depart Raybag – 19:53/19:54 hrs.
2.Train No. 17318 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Hubballi Express commencing journey from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus from 06.10.2019 to 10.10.2019 will arrive / depart  Raybag – 06:15/06:16 hrs.
3.Train No. 11005 Dadar - Puducherry Chalukya Express commencing journey from Dadar o­n 06.10.2019 & 07.10.2019 will arrive / depart Raybag – 07:26/07:27 hrs.
