18 Special Trains between Kacheguda and Tatanagar during Dusheera & Diwali Festival Season
In order to clear extra rush of passenger traffic during Dusheera and Diwali festival season, South Central Railway will extend the run between Kacheguda -Tatanagar for 18 more services as detailed below.
Train No. 07438/07439 Kacheguda-Tatanagar-Kacheguda Special Trains (18 services) :
Train No. 07438 Kacheguda – Tatanagar Special train will depart Kacheguda at 13:00 hrs o­n  2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th October and 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th November, 2017 (Mondays) and arrive Tatanagar at 19:45 hrs o­n the next day.
In the return direction, Train No.07439 Tatanagar – Kacheguda Special train will depart Tatanagar at 22:50 hrs o­n 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th& 31st October and 7th, 14th, 21st& 28th November, 2017 (Tuesdays) and arrive Kacheguda at 05:00 hrs o­n the second day.
Enroute these special trains will stop at Malkajgiri, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Anakapalli, Duvvada, Visakhapatnam, Vijayanagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Berhampur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Sukinda Road, Kendujhargarh, Jaroli, Banspani, Dangoaposi and Chaibasa stations in both the directions.
These special trains consists of 18 coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, seven Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van coaches. 
*All above these Special Trains will run as ‘Special Fare' Trains.

South Central Railway to run Five more Dasara Special Trains

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers during Dasara festival season, SCR will run five more special trains to various destinations between 22nd October and 26th October 2015 as detailed below:-

  1. Train No. 07207 Vijayawada-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Vijayawada at 23:00 hrs on 22nd October 2015 and arrive Secunderabad at 05:40 hrs on the next day.Enroute this special train will stop at Mangalagiri, Guntur, Sattenapalle, Piduguralla, Nadikude, Miryalaguda and Nalgonda stations.
  2. Train No. 07427 Secunderabad-Kakinada Town Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 21:40 hrs on 23rd and 25th October 2015 and arrive Kakinada Town at 08:00 hrs on the next day.
  3. Train No. 07428 Kakinada Town-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Kakinada Town at 18:10 hrs on 24th October 2015 and arrive Secunderabad at 04:30 hrs on the next day.Enroute the train nos. 07427/07428 special trains will stop at Pagidipalli, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry and Samalkot stations in both directions.
  4. Train No. 07210 Kakinada Town-Vijayawada Special Train will depart Kakinada Town at 10:00 hrs on 26th October 2015 and arrive Vijayawada at 15:00 hrs on the same day.All these special trains will have 16 coaches viz, one AC II Tier, one AC III Tier, seven Sleeper Class, five General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

South Central Railway to run Forty Six Dasara Special Trains

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers during Dasara festival season, SCR will run forty six special trains to various destinations between 14th October and 16th November 2015 as detailed below:-

1)Tirupati-Narsapur-Tirupati Jansadharan Special Train via Vijayawada (10 Services):-

Train No. 07942 Tirupati-Narsapur Jansadharan Special Train will depart Tirupati at 19:00 hrs o­n 18th, 25th October, 1st, 8th & 15th November, 2015 and arrive Narsapur at 07:00 hrs on the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07943 Narsapur-Tirupati Jansadharan Special Train will depart Narsapur at 08:15 hrs o­n 19th, 26th October, 2nd, 9th& 16th November 2015 and arrive Tirupati at 20:25 hrs the same day.

Enroute, these Jansadharan special trains will stop at Renigunta, Sri Kalahasti, Venkatagiri, Vendodu, Gudur, Nellore, Bitragunta, Kavali, o­ngole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Gudivada, Kaikalur, Akiveedu, Bhimavaram Town, Bhimavaram Junction, Viravasaram and Palakollu stations in both directions.

These special trains will comprise of 14 coaches viz,  six Second Class Reserved Seating, six General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

2)Tirupati-Kakinada Port-Tirupati Jansadharan Special Train via Vijayawada (20 Services):-

Train No. 07940 Tirupati-Kakinada Port Jansadharan Special Train will depart Tirupati at 07:10 hrs on 14th, 19th, 21st, 26th, 28th October, 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th & 16th November, 2015 and arrive Kakinada Port at 20:15 hrs the same day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07941 Kakinada Port-Tirupati Jansadharan Special Train will depart Kakinada Port at 22:15 hrs on 14th, 19th, 21st, 26th, 28thOctober, 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th & 16th November, 2015 and arrive Tirupati at 12:25 hrs the next day.

Enroute, these Jansadharan special trains will stop at Renigunta, Sri Kalahasti, Venkatagiri, Vendodu, Gudur, Nellore, Bitragunta, Kavali, ongole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepallegudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Samalkot and Kakinada Town stations in both directions.

These special trains will comprise of 10 coaches viz, eight General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

3)Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada Special Trains (8 Services):-

Train No. 07271 Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam Special Train will depart Vijayawada at 23:00 hrs on 15th and 29thOctober, 5th & 12th November 2015 and arrive Visakhapatnam at 06:50 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No 07272 Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 22:55 hrs on 18th October, 1st, 8th & 15th November, 2015 and arrive Vijayawada at 05:10 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute these special trains will stop at Eluru, Tadepallegudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both the directions.
These special trains will have 16 coaches viz, o­ne AC II Tier, one AC III Tier, seven Sleeper Class, five General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

4)Visakhapatnam-Dharmavaram-Visakhapatnam Special Trains (8 Services):-

Train No. 07273 Visakhapatnam- Dharmavaram Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 16:45 hrs o­n 16th and 30thOctober 6th & 13th November 2015 and arrive Dharmavaram at 12:40 hrs on the next day.

In the return direction, Train No 07274 Dharmavaram- Visakhapatnam Special Train will depart Dharmavaram at 14:30 hrs on 17th & 31stOctober, 7th & 14th November, 2015 and arrive Visakhapatnam at 10:25 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute these special trains will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepallegudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Narsaraopet, Vinukonda, Donakonda, Markapur Road, Cumbum, Giddalur, Nandyal, Betamcherla, Dhone, Gooty and Anantapur stations in both the directions.

These special trains will have 16 coaches viz, o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, seven Sleeper Class, five General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches

Special Trains between Various Destinations

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers during Dasara, o­ne special train and two suvidha special trains are being run as detailed below:-

1)Chennai-Ahmedabad Special Train (via Vijayawada):-

Train No. 06098 Chennai-Ahmedabad Special Train will depart Chennai at 20:00 hrs o­n 10th October, 2015, arrive/depart Vijayawada at 02:45/03:00 hrs on 11th Octber, 2015 and arrive Ahmedabad at 05:35 hrs o­n 12th October, 2015.

Enroute, this special train will stop at Vijayawada, Warangal, Balharshah, Badnera, Bhusaval, Nandurbar, Surat, Anand and Nadiad stations.

2)Chennai–Santragachi(Kolkata)–Chennai Suvidha Special Trains (via Vijayawada) (2 Services):-

Train No 00619 Chennai-Santragachi (Kolkata) Suvidha Special Train will depart Chennai at 17:10 hrs on 16th October 2015, arrive/depart Vijayawada at 00:15/00:25 hrs o­n 17th October, 2015 and arrive Santragachi (Kolkata) at 19:00 hrs on 17th October, 2015.

In the return direction Train No. 00620 Santragachi (Kolkata)-Chennai Suvidha Special Train will depart Santragachi at 12:40 hrs on 18th October, 2015 arrive/depart Vijayawada at07:50/08:00 hrs o­n 19thOctober, 2015 and arrive Chennai at 14:50 hrs on 19th October, 2015.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Nellore, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Brahampur, Kurdha Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Badhrak and Kharagpur stations in both directions.

South Central Railway to run Nine Dasara Special Trains

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers during Dasara festival season, SCR will run nine special trains to various destinations as detailed below:-

1)Tirupati-Secunderabad Superfast Special Train (via Vijayawada & Khammam):-

Train No. 02733 Tirupati-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Tirupati at 22:40 hrs on 12thOctober, 2015 and arrive Secunderabad at 10:55 hrs on the next day.
Enroute, this special train will stop at Renigunta, Sri Kalahasti, Gudur, Nellore, ongole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet stations.

2)Tirupati -Secunderabad Superfast Special Train (via Vijayawada, Khammam):-

Train no 02763 Tirupati-Secunderabad Superfast Special Train will depart Tirupati at 15:45 hrs on 17th October 2015, and arrive Secunderabad at 04:30 hrs on the next day.
Enroute, this special train will stop at Renigunta, Sri Kalahasti, Gudur, Nellore, ongole, Tenali, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet stations.

3)Secunderabad-Tirupati Special Train via Nalgonda:

Train No. 07405 Secunderabad-Tirupati Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 15:30 hrs on 25th October, 2015 and arrive Tirupati at 05:00 hrs o­n the next day.
Enroute, this special train will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikude, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Tenali, ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Sri Kalahasthi and Renigunta stations.

4)Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special Train(via Guntur, Vijayawada)

Train No. 07016 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 17:55 hrs on 13th and 18th October, 2015 and arrive Visakhapatnam at 06:35 hrs on the next day.
Enroute both these special trains will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikude, Piduguralla, Sattenapalle, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, and Anakapalli stations.

5)Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Special Train:-

Train No. 07015 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 16:45 hrs o­n 14th and 19th October, 2015 and arrive Tirupati at 06:20 hrs on the next day.
Enroute these special trains will stop at Anakapalle, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur and Renigunta stations.

6)Tirupati-Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Superfast Special Trains:-

Train No. 07487 Tirupati -Visakhapatnam Superfast Special Train will depart Tirupati at 15:55 hrs o­n 26th October, 2015 and arrive Visakhapatnam at 05:15 hrs on the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 07488 Visakhapatnam- Tirupati Superfast Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 18:55 hrs o­n 27th October, 2015 and arrive Tirupati at 08:10 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Renigunta, Sri Kalahasthi, Gudur, Nellore, o­ngole, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot and Anakapalli stations in both directions.

All the above special trains will have 12 coaches viz, o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, six Sleeper Class, two General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

Six Dasara/Diwali Tatkal Weekly Special Trains between Jaipur and Madurai

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers during Dasara/Diwali season, six Tatkal Weekly Special trains will be run between Jaipur and Madurai as detailed below:-

Train No. 09723 Jaipur - Madurai Tatkal Weekly Special Train will depart Jaipur at 13:15 hrs on 7th, 14th and 21st November (Saturdays) and arrive Madurai at 11:25 hrs on Mondays.

In the return direction, Train No. 09724 Madurai - Jaipur Tatkal Weekly Special Train will depart Madurai at 06:30 hrs on 10th, 17th& 24th November, 2015 (Tuesdays) and arrive Jaipur at 05:00 hrs on Thursdays.

Enroute these special trains will stop at Sawai Madhopur, Nagda, Ujjain, Bhopal, Nagpur, Balharshah, Vijayawada, Chennai Central and Tiruchchirappalli stations in both the directions.

These special trains will have 18 coaches viz, three AC II Tier, five AC III Tier, seven Sleeper Class, two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches and one Pantry Car.

80,640 Seats Generated by Attaching Additional Coaches to Several Express Trains During Festive Season

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will temporarily augment the following Trains with additional Second Class Chair Car coaches during October-November, 2015, Dasara, Diwali festive season as detailed below:-

1.Train No. 12747 Guntur-Vikarabad Palnadu Express (Daily) will be augmented with two second class chair car coach from 7th October to 15th November, 2015.
2.Train No. 12748 Vikarabad - Guntur Palnadu Express (Daily) will be augmented with two second class chair car coach from 7th October to 15th November, 2015.
3.Train No. 12713 Vijayawada-Secunderabad Satavahana Express (Daily) will be augmented with two second class chair car coach from 7th October to 15thNovember, 2015.
4.Train No. 12714 Secunderabad-Vijayawada Satavahana Express (Daily) will be augmented with two second class chair car coach from 7th October to 15thNovember, 2015.
5.Train No. 12711 Vijayawada-Chennai Pinakini Express (Daily) will be augmented with two second class chair car coach from 7th October to 15thNovember, 2015.
6.Train No. 12712 Chennai-Vijayawada Pinakini Express (Daily) will be augmented with two second class chair car coach from 7th October to 15thNovember, 2015.
7.Train No. 12718 Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam Ratnachal Express (Daily) will be augmented with two second class chair car coach from 7th October to 15thNovember, 2015.
8.Train No. 12717 Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada Ratnachal Express (Daily) will be augmented with two second class chair car coach from 7th October to 15thNovember, 2015.
9.Train No. 12706 Secunderabad-Guntur Intercity Express (Daily) will be augmented with two second class chair car coach from 7th October to 15thNovember, 2015.
10.Train No. 12705 Guntur-Secunderabad Intercity Express (Daily) will be augmented with two second class chair car coach from 7th October to 15thNovember, 2015.
11.Train No. 17023 Secunderabad-Kurnool Town Tungabhadra Express (Daily) will be augmented with two second class chair car coach from 8th October to 16th November, 2015.
12.Train No. 17024 Kurnool Town-Secunderabad Tungabhadra Express (Daily) will be augmented with two second class chair car coach from 7th October to 15th November, 2015.
13.Train No. 17639 Kacheguda-Akola Intercity Express (Daily) will be augmented with two second class chair car coach from 7th October to 15th November, 2015.
14.Train No. 17640 Akola-Kacheguda Intercity Express (Daily) will be augmented with two second class chair car coach from 8th October to 16thNovember, 2015.

Special Trains for Dasara Holidays

Special Trains for Dasara Holidays

VISAKHAPATNAM : East Coast Railway has decided to run special trains to clear extra rush of passengers during Dasara holidays. 

  • Train 08301 Sambalpur-Yesvantapur special express will leave Sambalpur at 08.50 hrs Wednesdays from October 14 to November 25 and will reach Yesvantapur at 16.30 hrs Thursdays. 

  • In return, train 08302 will leave Yesvantapur at 00.30 hrs Fridays from October 16 to November 27 and  will arrive Sambalpur at 06.15 hrs Saturday.

Both the trains will stop at Rayagada, Parvatipuram, Bobbili, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Bargarh Road, Balangir, Titlaghar, Kesinga, Muniguda, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Tirupati, Pakala, Chittoor, Katpadi, Jolarpettai and Krishnarajapuram.

Another 
  • Train 02877 Visakhapatnam-Krishnarajapuram Bi-weekly superfast special train will leave Visakhapatnam Saturdays and Wednesdays at 19.00 hrs from October 10 to November 25 and reach Krishnarajapuram on the next day at 14.00 hrs.

  • In return, train 02878 will leave Krishnarajapuram Sundays and Thursdays at 17.10 hrs from October 11 to November 26 which will reach Visakhapatnam on the next day at 12.25 hrs.
