REVISION OF TRAIN NUMBER FOR o­nLY o­nE TRIP IN BOTH DIRECTIONS

Kolkata, March 30, 2021:

Due to some technical reason, the Train No of 02178/02177 Mathura Jn. – Howrah – Mathura Jn. Superfast Special train is being revised FOR o­nLY o­nE TRIP in both directions and will run as Train No. 04178 (leaving Mathura Jn. o­n 5.4.2021)/04177 (leaving Howrah o­n 2.4.2021). After that, it will run as 02178/02177 Mathura Jn. – Howrah – Mathura Jn. Superfast Special train as usual.

Daily Special Trains between Mumbai and Gorakhpur with revised timings, train numbers and composition

Railways have decided to run daily special trains between Mumbai and Gorakhpur with revised timings, train numbers and composition as per details given below:

1. Train no 02542 / 02541 will now run as 02103 / 02104 Daily Superfast Special

02103 Daily special will now leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 05.23 hrs with effect from 11.4.2021 until further advice and arrive Gorakhpur at 11.45 hrs next day.

02104 Daily special will now leave Gorakhpur at 22.30 hrs with effect from 12.4.2021 until further advice and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 04.35 hrs o­n third day.

Halts: Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Jhansi, Orai, Pokhrayan, Kanpur Central, Aishbagh, Badshah Nagar, Gonda, Babhnan, Basti and Khalilabad

Revised Composition: One AC-2 Tier, Four AC-3 Tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 4 second class seating.

2. Train no 01015 / 01016 will now run as 02538 / 02537 Daily Superfast Special

02538 Daily special will now leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 00.35 hrs with effect from 13.4.2021 until further advice and arrive Gorakhpur at 07.05 hrs next day.

02537 Daily special will now leave Gorakhpur at 17.45 hrs with effect from 11.4.2021 until further advice and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 00.10 hrs o­n third day.

Halts : Thane, Kalyan, Nasik Road, Manmad, Chalisgaon, Pachora, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Raver, Burhanpur,  Khandwa, Khirkiya, Harda, Timarni,  Itarsi, Hoshangabad, Mandideep, Habibganj, Bhopal, Vidisha, Ganj Basoda, Bina, Lalitpur, Jhansi, Orai, Kalpi,  Kanpur Central, Unnao,  Aishbagh, Badshah Nagar, Barabanki, Gonda, Mankapur, Babhnan, Basti and Khalilabad

Revised Composition: Two AC-2 Tier, Six AC-3 Tier, 7 Sleeper Class, 4 second class seating and o­ne pantry car.

Note:

There will be no trips of 01015 special from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus o­n 9.4.2021 and 10.4.2021 and 02542 special from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus o­n 9.4.2021, 10.4.2021 and 11.4.2021

Reservation: Bookings for fully reserved special trains no 02103 and 02538 on normal fare will open o­n 15.2.2021 at all computerised reservation centres and o­n website www.irctc.co.in.

STATUS & TRAIN NUMBER OF WR’S 3 MAIL/EXPRESS TRAINS WILL CHANGE TO SUPERFAST FROM NOVEMBER, 2017
Western Railway will speed up THREE trains in the Time Table coming into effect from 15th October, 2017. The status & train number of 3 pairs of trains of Western Railway will be changed from MAIL/EXPRESS to SUPERFAST with effect from 15thOctober, 2017. Re-numbering of these trains will be with effect from the dates mentioned against respective trains given below:-
1)The new train number of existing 19029 Bandra (T) -  Mahuva Jn. Weekly Express will be 22989with effect from 27/11/2017.
2)The new train number of existing 19030 Mahuva Jn. - Bandra (T) Weekly Express will be 22990with effect from 01/12/2017.
3)The new train number of existing 19049 Bandra (T) - Patna Weekly Express will be 22971with effect from 27/11/2017.
4)The new train number of existing 19050 Patna - Bandra (T) Weekly Express will be 22972with effect from 29/11/2017.
5)The new train number of existing 19453 Gandhidham – Puri Weekly Express will be 22973with effect from 22/11/2017.
6)The new train number of existing 19454 Puri - Gandhidham Weekly Express will be 22974with effect from 25/11/2017.
Other details like the change in timings etc will be made available later in the new Time-Table.

Due to change of primary maintenance depot from Porbandar to Mumbai Central, the train no. of 19215/19216 Mumbai Central - Porbandar Saurashtra Express will be changed w.e.f 1st January, 2018. The train number of 19215 Mumbai Central - Porbandar Saurashtra Express will be 19015w.e.f 1st January, 2018. Similarly, in return direction its train number will change from 19216 Porbandar – Mumbai Central Saurashtra Express to 19016 w.e.f 2nd January, 2018. There will be no change in composition and timings of trains.

Train No.22498 Tiruchchirappalli – Sriganganagar Humsafar weekly superfast express train will leave Tiruchchirappalli at 04.45 hrs. o­n Fridays and reach Sriganganagar at 14.40 hrs. o­n Sundays.

26 Suvidha AC Special Trains between Chennai Central-Ahmedabad
In order to clear extra rush of passengers during summer season, 26 Suvidha special trains will be run between Chennai Central and Ahmedabad via., Renigunta, Kadapa and Guntakal as detailed below:-
Accordingly, Train No. 82611Chennai Central – Ahmedabad Suvidha Special train will depart Chennai Central at 20:00 hrs o¬n 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th April, 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th May, 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th June, 2017 (Saturdays) arrive/depart Guntakal at 04:20/04:35 hrs on the next day and arrive Ahmedabad at 05:45 hrs on Mondays.
In the return direction, Train No. 82612 Ahmedabad-Chennai Central Suvidha Special train will depart Ahmedabad at 09:40 hrs on 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th April, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th May, 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th June, 2017 (Mondays) arrive/depart Guntakal at 08:00/08:15 hrs on Tuesdays and arrive Chennai Central at 17:10 hrs.
Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Arakkonam, Renigunta, Koduru, Razampeta, Kadapa, Yerraguntla, Tadipatri, Gooty, Adoni, Mantralayam Road, Raichur, Yadgir, Wadi, Solapur, Daund, Pune, Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Rd, Boisar, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand and Nadiad stations.
These special trains will have 15 Coaches viz., eight AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, two AC Chair Car, one Pantry, two Luggage cum Brake Van and Power Car coaches.

Change in Train Number of Special Train From Hyderabad To Madurai

With reference to previous Press release SCR PR.No.619, dt.22nd Dec,2016 in connection with running of Special Train from Hyderabad to Madurai the change in Train Number and details as below.

The Train No. of 06070 Hyderabad - Madurai Special train is changed as 07060.

Accordingly, Train No. 07060 Hyderabad - Madurai Special train will depart Hyderabad at 23:00 hrs o­n 26th December, 2016arrive/depart Secunderabad at 23:25/23:30 hrs, Vijayawada at 05:15/05:30 hrs on the next day and arrive Madurai at 23:30 hrs.

Enroute, this special train will also stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Mahbubabad, Khammam, Tenali, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Tiruttani, Arakkonam, Perambur, Chennai Egmore, Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Vellupuram, Vridhachalam, Srirangam, Tiruchchirappalli and Dindigul stations.

This special train will consists of 17 Coaches viz., two AC III Tier, thirteen Sleeper Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Darbhanga Express to have Single Train Number

Consequent upon extension of extension of 11061 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Muzaffarpur  (4 days a week) Express to Darbhanga from 9.1.2016 and provision of halt to 11065 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Darbhanga Tri-weekly Express at Bhagwanpur, both the trains will be run with a single number with effect from 10.2.2017.
  • 11061 Express will leave daily at 12.15 hrs from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus from 10.2.2017 and arrive Darbhanga at 01.10 hrs on third day.
  • 11062 Express will leave daily at 13.10 hrs from Darbhanga from 10.2.2017 and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 03.40 hrs on third day.

The status of 16125/16126 Chennai Egmore - Jodhpur Express has been changed from EXPRESS to SUPERFAST EXPRESS w.e.f 1st October, 2016. Its train number will also changed from Chennai Egmore - Jodhpur Express to 22663 Chennai Egmore - Jodhpur Superfast Express w.e.f 10th December, 2016. Similarly, in return direction its train number will change from 16126 Jodhpur- Chennai Egmore Express to 22664 Jodhpur- Chennai Egmore Superfast Express w.e.f 12th December, 2016.

SPEEDING UP OF TRAINS AND REVISION IN TRAIN NUMBER

Two trains – Train No.16713/16714 Chennai Egmore – Rameswaram – Chennai Egmore express trains & Train No.16125/16126 Chennai Egmore – Jodhpur – Chennai Egmore express trains – are to be speeded up and converted into superfast express trains with effect from 01st October, 2016.
Consequently, the train numbers will also be revised and superfast charges collected from the dates mentioned against each train.

In slight modification to SCR Press Release No. 721 issued yesterday dated 5thJanuary, 2016, the following revisions may be noted.

The Train No. of Kakinada Town – Secunderabad Special train departing Kakinada Town at 18:10 hrs o­n 9th January, 2016 is revised as Train No. 07012 (instead of Train No. 07428 mentioned earlier).

Train No. 07427 Secunderabad-Kakinada Town Special train departing Secunderabad at 19:15 hrs o­n 10th January, 2016 will not stop at Nadikude station (which was mentioned earlier).

Extension of Kacheguda-Akola Express to and from Narkher & Change in Train Number

Railways will extend the Train No.17639/17640 Kacheguda-Akola-Kacheguda Express to and from Narkher six days a week with effect from 1.1.2016 with a new Train No.17641/17642 Kacheguda-Narkher-Kacheguda Express. 17639/17640 Kacheguda-Akola-Kacheguda Express will run as Weekly Train only. The details are as under:

17639 Kacheguda-Akola Weekly Express (Monday)

17640 Akola-Kacheguda Weekly Express (Tuesday)

17641 Kacheguda-Narkher Express (Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat & Sun)

17642 Narkher-Kacheguda Express (Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat & Sun)

17641 Express will leave Kacheguda daily except Monday at 0710 hrs as at present and arrive Narkher at 2310 hrs same day.

17642 Express will leave Narkher daily except Tuesday at 0430 hrs and arrive Kacheguda at 2015 hrs as at present.

There is no change in the composition, halts and timings between Kacheguda and Akola. Halts between Akola and Narkher are: Murtajapur, Badnera, New Amravati, Walgaon, Chandur Bazar, Ashtegaon, Morshi, Hirwarkhed, Warud Orange City, Pusla, Mowad.
