HOWRAH-JODHPUR-HOWRAH SPECIAL & HOWRAH-BIKANER-HOWRAH SPECIAL TO RUN FROM OCTOBER 1 INSTEAD OF HOWRAH-JODHPUR/BIKANER SPECIAL

            Eastern Railway (ER) authority has decided to run the Howrah-Jodhpur-Howrah special (four days a week) to be numbered as 02385/02386 & Howrah-Bikaner-Howrah special (three days a week) to be numbered as 02387/02388 instead of existing 02307/02308 Howrah-Jodhpur/Bikaner special which will be withdrawn from October 1, 2020.

  • The 02385 Howrah –Jodhpur special will leave Howrah o­n every Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday from October 3, 2020 and 02386 Jodhpur-Howrah special will leave Jodhpur o­n every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from October 5, 2020. 02385 Howrah – Jodhpur special will stop at Jaipur (00.35 am), Nawa City (2.19 am) Kuchaman City (2.39 am), Makrana (2.57 am), Degana (3.33 am) & Merta Road (4.15 am) in between Bandikui & Jodhpur and 02386 Jodhpur-Howrah special will stop at Merta Road (9.47 pm.), Degana (10.35 pm.), Makrana (11.00 pm.), Kuchaman city (11.16 pm.), Nawa City (11.38 pm.) & Jaipur (1.50 am) in between Jodhpur & Bandikui over NWR system.
  • The 02387 Howrah-Bikaner special will leave Howrah o­n every Monday, Thursday & Friday from October 1, 2020 and 02388 Bikaner – Howrah special will leave Bikaner o­n every Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday from October 3, 2020. 02387 Howrah-Bikaner special will stop at Jaipur (00.35 am), Nawa City (2.19 am), Kuchaman City (2.39 am), Makrana (2.57 am), Degana (3.33 am), Merta Road (4.15 am), Nagaur (5.10 am), Nokha (5.54 am) & Deshnok (6.25 am) in between Bandikui & Bikaner and 02388 Bikaner – Howrah special will stop at Deshnok (7.16 pm), Nokha (7.53 pm), Nagaur (8.43 pm), Merta Road (9.47 pm), Degana (10.35 pm), Makrana (11.00 pm), Kuchaman City (11.16 pm), Nawa City (11.38 pm) & Jaipur (1.50 am) in between Bikaner & Bandikui over NWR system. 

            The Timings and stoppages between Howrah & Bandikui of both special trains will remain the same with existing 02307/02308 Howrah-Jodhpur-Howrah special.

Due to operational reasons, the 14866 Jodhpur-Varanasi Marudhar Express Journey commencing on 11.10.2017 will remain cancelled.
 Consequently the 14865 Varanasi – Jodhpur Marudhar Express Journey commencing on  12.10.2017  will also remain cancelled .

STATUS & TRAIN NUMBER OF 16125/16126 CHENNAI EGMORE-JODHPUR EXPRESS CHANGES TO 22663/22664 CHENNAI EGMORE-JODHPUR SUPERFAST

The status of 16125/16126 Chennai Egmore - Jodhpur Express has been changed from EXPRESS to SUPERFAST EXPRESS w.e.f 1st October, 2016. Its train number will also changed from Chennai Egmore - Jodhpur Express to 22663 Chennai Egmore - Jodhpur Superfast Express w.e.f 10th December, 2016. Similarly, in return direction its train number will change from 16126 Jodhpur- Chennai Egmore Express to 22664 Jodhpur- Chennai Egmore Superfast Express w.e.f 12th December, 2016.

Train Cancelled /Diverted ,Due to Heavy Rain -North Western Railway

North-Western Railway cancels two trains on Jodhpur-Gandhidham rail section 

JAIPUR: Following heavy rains and damage to tracks, North-Western Railway today cancelled two trains and diverted one on Jodhpur-Gandhidham division, an official said. 

Jodhpur-Gandhidham SF, train number 22483 was cancelled today, and train number 22484 on the return scheduled tomorrow is cancelled, the CPRO said in a statement here. 

While the train number 14321/14322 Barelly-Newbhuj- Barelly is diverted on August 26 and 27 via Palanpur- Ahmedabad, the CPRO said. 

The train services have been hit by rains and washout of sand beneath the tracks, the CPRO said.

Premium Special Trains to Gandhidham & Jodhpur

Western Railway will run two Premium Special trains from Mumbai to Gandhidham and Jodhpur respectively. Train No 09455/09456 Bandra Terminus- Gandhidham Weekly Premium Superfast Special train is scheduled to leave Bandra (T) at 16.00 hrs on every Thursday to reach Gandhidham at 06.00 hrs the next day. This service will run upto 21st May, 2015. Similarly, in return direction Train No 09456 Gandhidham – Bandra Terminus Weekly Premium Superfast Special train is scheduled to leave Gandhidham at 22.05 hrs on every Wednesday upto 20thMay, 2015 to reach Bandra (T) at 11.15 hrs the next day. 

Likewise, Train no 09043/09044 Bandra Terminus- Jodhpur Weekly Premium AC Superfast Special train is scheduled to leave Bandra Terminus at 23.55 hrs on every Monday upto 25th May 2015, to reach Jodhpur at 16.20 hrs the next day. Similarly, in return direction Train No 09044 Jodhpur – Bandra Terminus Weekly Premium AC Superfast Special train is scheduled to leave Jodhpur at 11.20 hrs on every Wednesday upto 27thMay 2015. 

Bookings are open for these trains upto their scheduled dates of running, through internet o­nly.

E-Token system for physically-challenged launched at Jodhpur Railway Station

Jodhpur (JU): The physically-challenged people will now get benefits similar to the ones availed by women and senior citizens with regard to tatkal railway reservations at the Jodhpur railway station. An electronic token (e-token) determining the standing of the disabled in the queue will be provided to such people from April 14, Tuesday with Jodhpur being the first such station to start such a system.

To avail this benefit, the beneficiaries will have to register themselves on the website – www.jodhpurrailsuvidha.com, informed Gopal Sharma, Public Relations Officer for Northwest Railways.

The tatkal ticket through this system will be available a day before the journey date between 10 am and 5 pm after applying for it online. The e-token will be made available through a computer software system and will be intimated to the concerned person between 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm through a mobile message on the day the application is made. Only 10 such tokens will be granted per day. Based on these, the person can stand in a queue the next morning once tatkal reservations begin.

The beneficiaries will have to provide a copy of their photo identity card and the details of their journey for this purpose. The SMS sent by the railways will also have to be produced at the time of booking a ticket at the window. Also, the person who has made the online application will himself/herself have to be present at the window for making the booking

SPECIAL TRAIN TO RUN BETWEEN JODHPUR-PUNE (VIA VASAI) ON 14th AUGUST 2014

To clear the extra rush, it has been decided to run o­ne way special train between Jodhpur and Pune o­n 14th August 2014.

Train No 04825 Jodhpur-Pune Super Fast Special will leave Jodhpur o­n 14thAugust 2014 at 14.00 hrs to reach Pune the next day at 19.10hrs.This train will arrive at Vasai Rd stn o­n 15th August, at 12.55 hrs and depart at 13.05 hrs. The train will halt at Rai Ka Bagh Palace, Gotan, Merta Road Jn, Degana Jn, Makrana Jn, Phulera Jn, , Jaipur Jn., Sawai Madhopur Jn., Kota Jn., Ramganj Mandi, Bhawani Mandi, Shamgarh, Nagda Jn, Ratlam Jn, Vadodara Jn, Bharuch Jn., Surat, Vasai Road, Kalyan Jn. and  Lonavla station.

The train will comprise of Ist AC, AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier and Second Class Sleeper coaches.
