It is notified for the information of the general public, that for overhead powerline crossing between Nilokheri -Amin stations o­n Delhi Division , 03.00 hrs traffic block shall be undertaken o­n 02.03.2019 . Consequently , the following trains shall remain temporarily Cancelled / Regulated as under :

Temporary Cancellation/Partial Cancellation/Diversion/Regulation of Trains Due To Traffic Block For Doubling Work Between Khatauli –Muzaffarnagar Stations on Delhi Jn.-Meerut City-Saharanpur Section of Delhi Division

In connection with doubling work between Khatauli - Muzaffarnagar stations o­n Delhi Jn.-Meerut City-Saharanpur section, traffic block will be taken for non interlocking work by Delhi Division of Northern Railway. As a result, the following trains shall be cancelled/partially cancelled/diverted/Regulated as under:-

·The 14511 Allahabad-Saharapur Nauchandi Express train, journey commencing from 26.02.2019 to 09.03.2019 will be short terminated at Meerut City. Consequently, 14512Saharanpur-Allahabad Nauchandi Express journey commencing from 27.02.2019 to 10.03.2019 willshort originate from Meerut City. The 14512/14511 will remain partially cancelled between Meerut City-Saharanpur-Meerut City.

·The 64562 Ambala-Delhi Jn. passenger journey commencing from 27.02.2019 to 10.03.2019 will be short terminated at Saharanpur. Consequently, 64561 Delhi Jn.-Ambala passenger journey commencing from 27.02.2019 to 10.03.2019 will short originate from Saharanpur. The 64562/64561 will remain partially cancelled between Saharanpur-Delhi Jn.-Saharanpur.

·The 54472 Rishikesh-Delhi Jn. passengerjourney commencing from 06.03.2019 to 10.03.2019 will be short terminated at Saharanpur and will remain partially cancelled between Saharanpur-Delhi Jn.

·The 54304 Kalka-Delhi Jn. passengerjourney commencing from 06.03.2019 to 10.03.2019 will be short terminated at Saharanpur.

Regulation of Trains

·The 12911 Valsad-Haridwar Express, the 22917 Bandra Terminus-Haridwar Express,the 19565 Okha-Dehradun Utranchal Express & the 22659 Kochuvelli-Dehradun Express trains will be regulated by 80 minutes enroute during the block.

·The 14309 Ujjain-Dehradun Ujjaini Express,the 19325Indore-Amritsar Express & the 14317 Indore-Dehradun Express will be regulated by 60 minutes enroute during the block.

·The 54472 Rishikesh-Delhi Jn. passenger will be regulated by 60 minutes enroute during the block.

10 Special Trains for Shivratri and Holi Festival

Central Railway has decided to run 10 special trains o­n special charges between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Sawantwadi Road, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai – Karmali, Karmali – Panvel, Pune – Sawantwadi Road, Panvel – Sawantwadi Road to clear the extra rush of passengers during Mahashivratri and Holi festival.The details are as under:

A) Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Sawantwadi Road – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Shivratri specials (2)

Train No. 01113 Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 01.10 hrs o­n 04.03.2019 (mid-night of 3/4.3.2019) and will arrive Sawantwadi Road at 12.00 hrs same day.

Train No. 01114 Special will leave Sawantwadi Road at 13.10 hrs o­n 04.03.2019 and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 00.20 hrs next day.

Halts: Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sindhudurg and Kudal.

Composition: One AC-2 Tier, Two AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper class and 6 General second class.

Train No. 07425 Kacheguda - Kakinada Town Special Train will depart Kacheguda at 18:45 hrs o­n 1st, 8th, 15th 22nd & 29th March; 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th April; 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st May and 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th June, 2019 (Fridays) and arrive Kakinada Town at 05:45 hrs o­n the next day.

Indian Railways Recruitment in Different Departments for Various Posts Over1.3 Lakhs Vacancies

Ministry of Railways is going to launch a massive recruitment drive to fill up its vacancies in various categories of posts which are essential for smooth and safe running of trains.

On 23.02.2019, an IndicativeNotice will be published in Employment News on the forthcoming recruitments. Indian Railways has over 1.3 lakh vacancies in different departments which needed to be filled up.

The eligible candidates for the first tranche of recruitments in Non-Technical Popular Categories can do registration of online applications from 28.02.2019. The posts included in these categories are Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Commercial Apprentice, Station Master etc.

The next tranche of recruitment will be available for online registration with effect from 04.03.2019, in Paramedical categories like Staff Nurse, Health & Malaria Inspector, Pharmacist, ECG Technician, Lab Assistant, Lab Superintendent, etc.

On 08.03.2019, online registration will open for candidates eligible for Ministerial and Isolated Categories like Stenographer, Chief Assistant, Junior Translator (Hindi) etc.

In all, there are expected to be 30,000 vacancies in the above three recruitments.

In addition, the Ministry of Railways will also recruit about 1 lakh staff in Level-1 (erstwhile Group-DCategories) for which online registration would open on 12.03.2019.

There will be reservation for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) (non creamy layer) and for the first time there will be reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidates. Besides, there will be reservation of posts for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Ex-Serviceman (ExSM).Besides, for Level-1 post, there will reservation for Course Completed Act Apprentices (CCAA).The vacancies in the above categories, except Level-1, will be available on Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) websites, after opening of online registration for the respective category.The vacancies of Level-1 will be available on website of Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC). Applications for all post will be accepted online only.

Indian Railways is already in the process of recruiting over 1.5 lakhs candidates in various safety categories like Assistant Loco Pilot and Technicians, Safety Category posts of Operating Department and Technical Department such as Civil Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Signal & Telecommunication, in both the Level-1 and Supervisory Categories. This also includes over 10,000 recruitments in Railway Protection Force organization.
