THE NEW RAILWAY TIME TABLE WILL BE IMPLEMENTED FROM 1ST NOVEMBER 2017. CHANGES IN THE TIMINGS OF 56 TRAINS INCLUDING 37 EXPRESS & 19 LOCAL PASSENGER TRAINS HAVE BEEN REVISED IN THIS NEW TRAIN TIME TABLE. 24 TRAINS HAVE BEEN RE-NUMBERED
AND 36 TRAINS UPGRADED. INTRODUCTION OF 03 NEW TRAIN SERVICES INCLUDING RAJDHANI & HUMSAFAR EXPRESS HAVE BEEN PLACED. FREQUENCY OF ONE PAIR TRAIN HAS BEEN INCREASED; FOUR PAIRS OF TRAINS HAVE BEEN EXTENDED. THE DATE OF INTRODUCTION OF THESE TRAINS WILL BE NOTIFIED IN DUE COURSE AND SOME HAVE ALREADY IMPLEMENTED.
MAJOR CHANGES IN TIMINGS with effect from 1st October 2017:
The timings of 10 numbers of trains have been changed and are different from the earlier time at different stations in East Coast Railway jurisdiction WITH EFFECT FROM 1st November 2017.
DEPARTURE TIMINGS OF TRAINS BEFORE THE PRESENT SCHEDULE:
The timings of 18212 Jagadalpur-Durg Express from Jagadalpur will leave at 1235hrs instead of 1305hrs. The timings of this train between Jagadalpur and Rayagada have also been pre-poned. Similarly, 18448 Jagadalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express, 18438 Junagarh Road-Bhubaneswar Express, 12281 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Duronto Express, 17015 Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad Visakha Express, 18503 Visakhapatnam-Sai Nagar Shirdi Express, 22847 Visakhapatnam-LTT Express, 18518 Visakhapatnam-Korba Express, 18006 Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express, 18508 Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express, 22828 Surat-Puri Express, 12993 Gandhidham-Puri Express, 18422 Ajmer-Puri Express,22838 Ernakulam-Hatia Express, 12894 Balangir-Bhubaneswar Inter City Express trains from it’s originating Stations and at some other Stations en-route will be pre-poned, i.e. will leave before the scheduled time.
Apart from this, the departure time of local passenger trains viz. 58528 Visakhapatnam-Raipur Passenger, 58501 Visakhapatnam-Kirandul Passenger, 58530 Visakhapatnam-Durg Passenger, 58502 Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Passenger, 57272 Rayagada-Vijayawada Passenger, 57230 Visakhapatnam-Machhlipatnam/Naraspur Passenger, 58525 Palasa-Visakhapatnam Passenger and 58136 Sambalpur-Jharsuguda Passenger from its originating & intermediate Stations have been changed and will leave before the present scheduled time.
DEPARTURE TIMINGS OF TRAINSAFTER THE PRESENT SCHEDULE:
21 Trains from ECoR jurisdiction will leave after the present scheduled timings. The timings of 22910 Puri-Valsad Express, 22840 Bhubaneswar-Rourkela Inter City Express, 14710 Puri-Bikaner Express, 18437 Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road Link Express, 18447 Bhubaneswar-Jagadalpur Hirakhand Express, 22819 Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam Inter City Express, 18304 Puri-Sambalpur Inter City Express has been changed at different Stations.
Timings of 12146 Puri-LTT Express, 22415 Visakhapatnam-New Delhi Express, 18511 Koraput-Visakhapatnam Express have also been changed at different stations.
RE-NUMBERING OF TRAINS
24 trains have been re-numbered. These include Sambalpur-Nanded-Sambalpur Express, Visakhapatnam-Nanded-Visakhapatnam Express, P{uri-Jodhpur-Puri Express, Visakhapatnam-Tata-Visakhapatnam Express, Gandhidham-Puri-Gandhidham Express, Jammu Tawi-Sambalpur-Jammu Tawi Express including some passenger trains like Visakhapatnam-Vizianagaram-Palasa-Visakhapatnam Passenger, Palasa-Brahmapur-Bhubaneswar-Cuttack-Palasa Passenger & one pair Cuttack-Paradeep-Cuttack passenger.
EXTENSION OF TRAINS:
Extension of four pairs of trains have been placed in the Time Table and already been implemented. These are Jammu Tawi-Rourkela Express up to Sambalpur, Rourkela-Bhubaneswar Rajya Rani Express up to Gunupur and two pairs of Khurda Road-Bolagarh Passengers up to Nayagarh Town.
INCREASE IN FREQUENCY OF TRAINS:
Frequency of Kamakhya-Bangalore Cant.-Kamakhya Humsafar Express has been increase from weekly to Bi-weekly.
NEW TRAINS:
03 Pairs of New Trains have been included in new Time Table. Two pairs of weekly Humsafar Express between Bhubaneswar & Krishnarajpuram and Howrah-Vijayawada have already been implemented. Another new Rajdhani Express between Bhubaneswar & New Delhi via Sambalpur has been placed in the Time Table. The date of introduction of new Rajdhani Express via Sambalpur will be notified in due course.

In the new Time Table of Eastern Railway, to be effective from 1 November, 2017, there will be new trains, extension, increase in frequency, change in terminal, change in train timings etc.
NON-SUBURBAN SERVICES:
·Changes of departure timings of Mail/Express/ Passenger trains:
(a) Express trains: 12987 Sealdah-Ajmer Exp. from Sealdah at 22.55 hrs. instead of 23.05hrs,13009 Doon Exp. from Howrah at 20.25 hrs. instead of 20.30 hrs, 13118 Lalgola-Kolkata Exp. from Lalgola at 6.40 hrs. instead of 6.30 hrs. and 13114 Lalgola-kolkata Exp. from Lalgola at 16.20hrs instead of 16.10 hrs.
(b) Passenger trains: A total of 9(nine) passenger trains,
·Extension of trains: 63105 Sealdah-Berhampore MEMU passenger upto Lalgola,
·Reduction in journey times : 7(seven) Express trains and 58 (fifty eight) passenger trains,

The new Railway Public Time Table will come in to effect from 01st November, 2017 instead of 15th October, 2017.The existing Time Table of October, 2016 issue will remain valid till 31st October, 2017.
Speeding up of trains
Train No. 16201/16202, KSR Bengaluru-Shivamogga Town-KSR Bengaluru Daily Express will be converted into Superfast Express duly speeding up with effect from 01st November, 2017 (instead of15th October, 2017)from KSR Bengaluru end and 02nd November, 2017(instead of 16th October, 2017) from Shivamogga Town end with change in Train Number as 20651/20652, KSR Bengaluru-Shivamogga Town-KSR Bengaluru Daily Superfast Express.
Continuation of Yesvantpur-Visakhapatnam-Yesvantpur Weekly Tatkal Express Special
Railway has decided to continue the service of Train No. 06579/06580, Yesvantpur-Visakhapatnam-Yesvantpur Weekly Tatkal Express Special for 08 more trips in each directionto clear extra rush of passengers.
Accordingly, Train No. 06579, Yesvantpur-Visakhapatnam Weekly Tatkal Express Special will depart from Yesvantpur at 18:35 hours on every Friday, with effect from 06th October, 2017 to 24th November, 2017 (Total 08 trips), and reach Visakhapatnam at 14:35 hours the next day.
In return direction, Train No. 06580, Visakhapatnam-Yesvantpur Weekly Tatkal Express Special will depart from Visakhapatnam at 13:45 hours on every Sunday, with effect from 08th October, 2017 to 26th November, 2017 (Total 08 trips), and reach Yesvantpur at 09:05 hours the next day.
Enroute, the train has stoppages at Banasavadi, Krishnarajapuram, Whitefield, Bangarpet, Kuppam, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajamundry, Samalkot, Anakapalle and Duvvada in both directions.
The train composition will have 13 coaches comprising of ONE AC-2 tier coach, TWO AC-3 tier coaches, EIGHT Second class Sleeper coaches and TWO Second Class Luggage-cum-Brakevan with Disabled friendly compartment.

Accordingly, Train No. 06541, Yesvantpur- Pandharpur Weekly Tatkal Specialwill leave Yesvantpur at 18:00 hours on every Thursday, with effect from 05th October, 2017 to 26th October, 2017 (Total 04 trips), and reach Pandharpur at 11:35 hours the next day.
In return direction, Train No. 06542, Pandharpur-Yesvantpur Weekly Tatkal Special will leave Pandharpur at 13:35 hours on every Friday, with effect from 06th October, 2017 to 27th October, 2017 (04 trips),and reach Yesvantpur at 06:20 hours the next day.
Enroute, the train has stoppages at Tumakuru, Arsikere, Davangere, Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Ghataprabha, Kudachi, Miraj, Kavathe Mahankal, Dhalgaon and Sangole in both directions.
The train composition will have ONE First Class AC Coah, ONE AC-2 tier coach, FOURAC-3 tier coaches, TEN Second class Sleeper coaches, TWO General Second class Coachesand TWO Second Class Luggage-cum-Brakevan with Disabled friendly compartment.

CR ready with new time table to ease congestion
Services will now start at stations with increase in passengers
Mumbai: The Central Railway (CR), which has been working overtime to decrease congestion in the city’s suburban railway network, is ready with a new time table that will kick in from July 1.
While all new services traditionally originate from stations like Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, the new timetable will have services running between Kurla and Kalyan and Wadala and Panvel after considering changes in passenger demographics. A study submitted by activist Gaurang Damani to the Central Railway concludes that passengers have increased in the city’s north, and services are necessary from stations located to the north of CST station.
“I have submitted the survey and study of the passengers’ demographical shift northwards. Many stations have seen an increase in the number of passengers as compared to the previous years. So, instead of increasing services from originating stations like CST and Dadar, they should be increased at other congested stations,” Mr. Damani said.
Central Railway officials said they were almost ready with the new time table but were waiting for the Main Line time table to be announced first. “After looking at both, the suburban time table will also be announced. The Main Line (outstation) time table is expected to be available by July 1,” a CR official said, adding there could be as many as 25 new services.
The survey based on tickets sale shows 69,446,741 passengers used CST and 12,797,231 tickets were sold in 2012-13. At Kalyan station in the same year, the passenger count was 58,320,700 and 11,959,911 tickets were sold. Ravindra Goyal, Divisonal Railway manager, CR, said, “We are thinking to increase services but this time, it may be from between Wadala-Panvel and Kurla-Kalyan. There is a demographical change among passengers and they have increased in the north.”
According to Mr. Damani’s survey, which has been approved by the railways and used to formulate the new time table, passengers at CST and Dadar have decreased but have gone up at stations like Ghatkopar, Kurla, Thane, Diva and Kalyan.
According to CR officials, problems are being faced in train reversals and due to fewer stations where trains terminate. They are betting on the upcoming Parel terminus.“We are trying to reschedule the time table based on the increase in the number of passengers at particular stations like Kurla and Wadala. There are some studies that show an increase or decrease in passengers,” Mr. Goyal said.
Officials said existing services from CST will be unchanged. As of now, 90% of CR services originate and terminate at CST.

It is notified for the information of general public that the existing Trains at a Glance ,North Zone Public Time Table andWorking Time Table will be extended up to 30th September 2017 .Accordingly New Time Table will come into effect from 1stOctober 2017 instead of 1stJuly 2017.
All Trains will run as per schedule of existing Time Table up to 30th September 2017.
