SPECIAL TRAFFIC  BLOCK AT AMBERNATH STATION LIMIT
  
Central Railway will operate special traffic block at Ambernath Station limit for replacement of TWS switch o­n Up South East line at midnight of 06.07.2017 / 07.05.2007. The details are as under-

ON UP SOUTH EAST LINE AT AMBERNATH STATION LIMIT
FROM 23.35 HRS o­n 06.05.2017 (SAT) TO 03.35 HRS o­n 07.05.2017 (SUN)

DIVERSION OF MAIL/EXPRESS TRAINS 

12298 Pune – Ahmedabad Duronto express will be diverted via Karjat – Panvel – Vasai Road.

11028 Chennai Central – Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and 11020 Bhubaneshwar – Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Konark Express will be diverted via Karjat – Panvel – Diva with an halt at Diva Station for Kalyan bound Passengers and will arrive CST 20 to 30 minutes later than the schedule arrival. 

REPURCUSSION o­n SUBURBAN TRAINS

CST -Badlapur local leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 21.49 hrs will run upto Kalyan and thereafter it will remain partially cancelled between Kalyan and Badlapur. 

Badlapur  - CST local leaving Badlapur at 23.50 will leave from Kalyan at 00.11hrs towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and will remain cancelled between Badlapur and Kalyan.

Passengers are requested to kindly bear with administration for the inconvenience caused..

Delays For Mumbai Local Trains As Angry Passengers Blocked Badlapur Tracks

Trains ran 15-20 minutes late in morning rush hour
Passengers in Thane's Badlapur protested on tracks, causing delays
Protestors said they wanted to draw attention to daily problems
It wasn't exactly TGIF for Mumbai this morning. Local trains were running nearly 20 minutes late because in Mumbai's neighbouring Thane district, angry commuters blocked the tracks because trains running into the heart of the city- the Chhattrapati Shivaji Terminus or CST, the main station - were delayed.

Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu appealed for cooperation as the police went to the location of the protests to clear the tracks.

The morning's demonstration began at about 5:30 am when a train pulled in 20 minutes later at the Badlapur station in Thane. Passengers stepped onto the tracks, cutting them off for trains.

By 11 am - much after rush hour ended, the trains were back on schedule.

TRAFFICBLOCKS BETWEEN BADLAPUR AND BHIVPURI           

Central Railway will operate special traffic blocks of 2 hours on Up and Dn lines between Vangani and Bhivpuri section for removal of track portal structures on 2.7.2016 & 3.7.2016. The details are as under-

 ON UP & DN SOUTH-EAST LINES BETWEEN VANGANI AND BHIVPURI

FROM 10.50 HRS TO 12.50 HRS, on 2.7.2016 (SAT) AND 3.7.2016 (SUN)


DIVERSION OF MAIL/EXPRESS TRAINS on 2.7.2016 & 3.7.2016: 

Train No. 17032 Hyderabad – Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Express and 11042 Chennai - Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Express arriving CST Mumbai will be diverted via Karjat-Panvel-Diva with provision of halt at Diva station for Kalyan bound passengers. A additional Halt has also been provided at Thane station for Train No. 17032.  

SUSPENSION /SHORT TERMINATION OF SUBURBAN SERVICES on 2.7.2016 & 3.7.2016 

1. CST-Karjat local leaving CST at 09.38 hrs & 11.15 hrs, Thane-Karjat local leaving Thane at 10.48 hrs will be short terminated at Badlapur. 

2. CST-Karjat local leaving CST at 10.36 hrs will be short terminated at Ambernath. 

3. Karjat – Thane local leaving Karjat at 10.35 hrs & 12.21 hrs, Karjat-CST local leaving Karjat at 11.19 hrs will run Ex Badlapur (will remain suspended between Karjat and Badlapur) 

4. Karjat-CST local leaving Karjat at 12.01 hrs will run Ex Ambernath (will remain suspended between Karjat and Ambernath)

4 Special Night Traffic Blocks between Badlapur and Vangani.

4 SPECIAL NIGHT TRAFFIC BLOCKS BETWEEN BADLAPUR AND VANGANI

Central Railway will operate special night traffic blocks between Badlapur and Vangani for removal of off loaded structures o­n Up & Dn lines from 03.20 hrs to 04.00 hrs (40 minutes) from 5.8.2015 to 8.8.2015 (4 days).

There will be no repercussion o­n Suburban Trains due to this block. 

DIVERSION OF MAIL/EXPRESS TRAINS:

Train Nos. 18519 Vishakhapatnam - Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express, 12702 Hyderabad - Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Hussainsagar Express and 11306 Solapur - Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Express will be diverted via Karjat-Panvel-Diva and will arrive   15 minutes behind schedule.

Train No. 12702 & 11306 will halt at Diva for the benefit of Kalyan bound passengers. 

Passengers are requested to kindly bear with administration for the inconvenience caused. Passengers are also requested to please note that Train No. 11028 and 11020 will run o­n proper path o­n 5.8.2015 and 6.8.2015 instead of diverted route as notified earlier.
