Central Railway will run 3 o­ne way specials from Nagpur to Dibrugarh and Patna to clear the extra rush of passengers as per details given below
Nagpur-Dibrugarh o­ne-way specials
  • 01213 special will leave Nagpur at 10.30 hrs o­n 29.9.2019 and will arrive Dibrugarh at 09.00 hrs o­n 1.10.2019
  • 01215 special will leave Nagpur at 10.30 hrs o­n 1.10.2019 and will arrive Dibrugarh at 09.00 hrs o­n 3.10.2019

Halts for both the specials: Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Raigarh, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Chakradharpur, Purulia, Asansol, Durgapur, Rampurhat Jn, Malda Town, New Jalpaiguri, New Coochbehar, New Bongaigaon, Rangiya Jn, Guwahati, Lumding Jn., Dimapur, Furkating Jn.
Composition of 01213: o­ne AC-2 Tier cum AC-3 Tier, 17 sleeper class, 2 general second class
Composition of 01215: Two AC-3 Tier, 9 Sleeper class, 8 general second class

  • 01217 special will leave Nagpur at 20.00 hrs o­n 30.9.2019 and arrive Patna at 20.30 hrs o­n 1.10.2019

Extension of Four Express Trains to Tambaram 
As part of commissioning of Tambaram Coaching Terminal, the following train services running to/from Tambaram will be further extended to run to/from Tambaram on experimental basis from 4th January, 2018 to 2nd April, 2018.
1.Accordingly, Train No. 15630 Guwahati-Tambaram Weekly Express will arrive/depart Chennai Egmore at 20:05/20:40 hrs and arrive Tambaram at 21:15 hrs o­n its scheduled dates ( i.e., arrives every Sunday at Tambaram) .
2.Train No. 15629 Tambaram - Guwahati Weekly Express will depart Tambaram at 21:45 hrs and arrive/depart Chennai Egmore at 22:15/22:30 hrs o­n its scheduled dates( i.e., departs every Monday at Tambaram).
3.Train No. 15930 Dibrugarh - Tambaram Weekly Express will arrive/depart Chennai Egmore at 20:05/20:40 hrs and arrive Tambaram at 21:15 hrs o­n its scheduled dates   (i.e., arrives every Wednesday at Tambaram).
4.Train No. 15929 Tambaram – Dibrugarh Weekly Express will depart Tambaram at 21:45 hrs and arrive/depart Chennai Egmore at 22:15/22:30 hrs o­n its scheduled dates(( i.e., departs every Thursday at Tambaram).

Four Weekly Special Trains between Dibrugarh -Chennai Central

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, four weekly special trains are being run between Dibrugarh-Chennai Central as detailed below:-
  • Train No. 05906 Dibrugarh-Chennai Central Weekly Special Train will depart Dibrugarh at 23:45 hrs on 3rd & 10th January, 2017 (Tuesday) arrive/depart Vijayawada at 12:55/13:10 hrson Friday and arrive Chennai Central at 22:45 hrs.In the return direction, 
  • Train No 05905 Chennai Central - Dibrugarh Weekly Special Train will depart Chennai Central at 20:30 hrs on 7th & 14th January, 2017 (Saturday) arrive / depart Vijayawada at 02:55/03:05 hrs o­n Sunday and arrive Dibrugarh at 18:00 hrs on Tuesday.

Enroute these special trains will also stop at New Tinsukia, Mariani, Lumding, Guwahati, New Bongaigaon, Jew Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Rampurhat, Andal, Durgapur, Asansol, Adra, Bankura, Midnapur, Hijli, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Rd, Brahmapur, Vizianagaram, Duvvada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, o­ngole and Nellore stations in both the directions.
These special trains will consist of 22 coaches viz., o­ne AC 1st cum AC II Tier, o­ne AC II Tier, three AC III Tier, eleven Sleeper, four General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

RAILWAY INCREASES THE FREQUENCY OF 15903/15904 DIBRUGARH – CHANDIGARH- DIBRUGARH EXPRESS TRAIN FROM WEEKLY TO BI-WEEKLY

For the convenience of rail passengers, Railways have decided to increase the frequency of 15903/15904 Dibrugarh – Chandigarh- Dibrugarhexpress train from weekly to bi-weekly. 

The existing and revised days of run of 15903/15904 Dibrugarh – Chandigarh- Dibrugarhbi-weeklyexpress train will be as under:-

The 15903 Dibrugarh – Chandigarhbi-weeklyexpress train will depart from Dibrugarh on every Monday & Friday from 14.08.2015 while its return service, the 15904 Chandigarh- Dibrugarhbi-weeklyexpress train will depart from Chandigarh o­n every Wednasday & Sunday from 16.08.2015.

There will be no change in the composition, timings, route etc. of 15903/15904 Dibrugarh – Chandigarh- Dibrugarhbi-weeklyexpress train.

PERMANENT AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS & TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

I. PERMANENT AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

Train No.15906/15905 Dibrugarh – Kanniyakumari – Dibrugarh Vivek weekly express trains permanently augmented by one sleeper class coach ex. Dibrugarh from 11.07.2015 and ex. Kanniyakumari from 16.07.2015.

II. TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

Train No.17230/17229 Hyderabad – Thiruvananthapuram – Hyderabad Sabari express trains will be temporarily augmented by one AC 3-tier coach ex. Hyderabad from 13.07.2015 to 02.08.2015 and ex. Thiruvananthapuram from 15.07.2015 to 04.08.2015.
