36 hours infrastructure block on Thane-Kalva slow lines for 5th& 6th line work

36 hours infrastructure block o­n Thane-Kalva slow lines for 5th& 6thline work

Central Railway will operate 36 hours infrastructure block o­n Up and Dn slow lines between Thane and Kalva stations for carrying out cut and connection of newly laid track and commissioning of crossovers in connection with Thane-Diva 5th& 6th lines The block will be operated o­n Up and Dn slow lines from 02.00 pm o­n 8.1.2022 (Saturday) to 02.00 am of 10.1.2022 (Monday).

Works to be carried out during the block: During this block, the newly laid track between Thane and Vitava Road under Bridge will be cut and connected to the existing Dn and Up slow lines.  Similarly insertion and commissioning of crossovers, turn outs, derailing switches in connection with yard remodeling and alteration in Interlocking arrangements at Thana and Kalva will be carried out during Block period. 7 tower wagons, 3 Unimat/Duomatic  machines, 2 Diesel multi locos, o­ne ballast rake, 1 DBKM etc will be used for carrying out engineering, electrical and signal and telecommunication works.

Due to this train running pattern will be as under:

Up slow/semi fast services leaving Kalyan from 1.00 pm o­n 8.1.2022 will be diverted o­n Up fast line between Kalyan and Matunga till 2.00 pm skipping halt at Thakurli, Kopar, Mumbra, Kalva, Nahur, Kanjurmarg and Vidyavihar stations further diverted o­n Up slow line.

After 2.00 pm Up slow/semi fast services will be diverted o­n Up fast line between Kalyan and Mulund skipping halt at Thakurli, Kopar, Mumbra and Kalva stations and will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

Dn slow/semi fast services leaving Dadar from 12.54 pm o­n 8.1.2022 to 1.52 pm will be diverted o­n Dn fast line between Mulund and Kalyan stations skipping halt at Vidyavihar, Kanjurmarg, Nahur, Kalva, Mumbra, Kopar and Thakurli stations. 

After 2.00 pm, Up slow/semi fast services will be diverted o­n Up fast line between Mulund and Kalyan stations skipping halt at Kalva, Mumbra, Kopar and Thakurli stations and will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

Suburban services will not be available at Kalva, Mumbra, Kopar and Thakurli stations during the block period.

Passengers boarding from Kalva, Mumbra, Kopar and Thakurli stations are advised to board trains from Thane, Diva, Dombivali and Kalyan respectively.

Railway Administration has arranged to run buses in coordination with Municipal Authorities for the benefit of passengers.

Dombivali Originating / terminating locals will not be available during the entire block period.

During the block period slow line locals will halt o­n fast line platforms at Thane, Dombivali and Diva.

Suburban Services will run as per schedule o­n 10.1.2022 (Monday)

Central Railway, Mumbai Division will operate Mega Block o­n its suburban sections for carrying out various engineering and maintenance works o­n 28.11.2021.

Thane-Kalyan Up and Dn slow lines from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm

Dn Slow/Semi fast services leaving Mulund from 10.43 am to 3.46 pm will be diverted o­n Dn fast line between Mulund and Kalyan stations, halting at Thane, Diva, Dombivali stations and will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

Up Slow/ Semi fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.37 am to 3.41 pm will be diverted o­n Up fast line between Kalyan and Mulund stations, halting at Dombivali, Diva, Thane stations and further will be re-diverted o­n Up Slow line at Mulund station and will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

All Up and Dn slow services leaving/arriving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus between 11.00 am to 5.00 pm will arrive/depart 10 minutes behind schedule.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus – Chunabhatti / Bandra Dn harbour line from 11.40 am to 4.40 pm &

Chunabhatti / Bandra- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Up harbour line from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm

Dn Harbour line services to Vashi /Belapur/Panvel leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus / Vadala Road from 11.34 am to 4.47 pm and Dn Harbour line services to Bandra/Goregaon leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 09.56 am to 4.43 pm will remain suspended.

Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9.53 am to 3.20 pm and Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus leaving Goregaon/ Bandra from 10.45 am to 4.58 pm will remain suspended.

However, Special services will run between Panvel and Kurla (Platform No.8) during the block period.

Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm during block period.

These maintenance mega blocks are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.

Traffic Block for Kopri bridge girder launch – Suburban Train running

Central Railway will operate a special traffic and power block o­n all 6 lines between Thane and Mulund stations for launching of girders of Kopri Road Over Bridge by Road crane o­n 23/24.1.2021 (Saturday/Sunday night) and 24/25.1.2021 (Sunday/Monday night). The block will be operated from 01.00 am to 04.30 am o­n both days.

Two shadow blocks will also be operated by Central Railway for launching of girders for foot over bridge at Sion and Atgaon stations by road crane i.e.at Sion o­n all 4 lines from 00.40 am to 04.40 am and at Atgaon o­n Dn line from 02.20 am to 06.20 am.

Due to this block, suburban train running will be as under:

On 24 and 25.1.2021

·Suburban services will remain suspended between Dadar and Thane from 00.40 am to 05.00 am

  1. ·Kasara local leaving CSMT at 00.15 am will remain cancelled
  2. ·Last local from Thane will be Karjat local leaving Thane at 01.19 am
  3. ·First local from CSMT will be Kasara local leaving CSMT at 05.00 am
  4. ·First local from Thane will be Kasara local leaving Thane at 05.10 am
  5. ·First local towards CSMT from Karjat will be CSMT local leaving Karjat at 03.41 am
  6. ·First local towards CSMT from Titwala will be CSMT local leaving Titwala at 04.32 am

On 23/24.1.2021

  1. ·Last local for Kasara o­n 23.1.2021 will be Titwala local departing CSMT at 11.20 pm and will run upto Kasara
  2. ·Last local from CSMT will be at 00.05 am (23/24.2021 midnight) for Ambarnath
  3. ·Last local for CSMT o­n 23.1.2021 will be Khopoli-CSMT local leaving Khopoli at 10.15 pm

 On 24/25.1.2021

  1. ·Last local for Kasara o­n 24.1.2021 will be special local leaving CSMT at 00.05 am stopping at all stations.
  2. ·Last local from CSMT will be at 00.31 am (24/25.1.2021 midnight) for Kurla
  3. ·Last local for CSMT o­n 24.1.2021 will be Badlapur-CSMT local leaving Badlapur at 11.31 pm

Central Railway will operate mega block to carry out maintenance work o­n its suburban sections of Mumbai Division o­n 29.11.2020 as under:

Thane-Kalyan Up & Dn fast lines from 10.40 am to 3.40 pm

Dn fast services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 9.37 am to 2.48 pm will be diverted o­n Dn slow line between Thane and Kalyan stations and will halt at all stations between Thane and Kalyan.

Up fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.26 am to 3.19 pm will be diverted o­n Up slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations and will halt at all stations between Kalyan and Thane, further rediverted o­n Up fast line at Mulund halting as per their respective scheduled halts.

Kurla-Vashi Up & Dn harbour lines from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm

Dn services to Panvel/Belapur/Vashi leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 10.34 am to 3.39 pm will remain cancelled.

Up services to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 10.21 am to 3.41 pm will remain cancelled.

Special trains will be run o­n Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Kurla and Vashi-Panvel sections during the block period.

Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Transharbour line / Main line from 10.00 am to 4.30 pm

Up fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.54 am to 3.52 pm will be diverted o­n Up slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations halting at all stations and further re-diverted o­n UP fast line between Thane and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai halting at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla, Dadar and Byculla stations and will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.
Dn fast services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 10.16 am to 3.22 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.

Up mail/express trains arriving Mumbai/LTT/Dadar during the block period will arrive 20 to 30 minutes behind schedule.
PANVEL- VASHI UP AND DN HARBOUR LINE & NERUL/BELAPUR – KHARKOPAR UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES FROM 11.30 AM TO 4.00 PM
Up Harbour services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur from 11.06 am to 4.01 pm and Dn harbour line services for Panvel/Belapur leaving Vashi from 10.53 am to 4.05 pm will remain suspended between Vashi and Panvel.
Panvel-Andheri services will remain cancelled during the block period.
On Trans-Harbour line Thane – Panvel services will remain cancelled i.e. Thane-Panvel Dn Trans harbour line services leaving Thane from 11.14 am to 3.20 pm & Panvel-Thane Up Trans harbour line services leaving Panvel from 10.12 am to 3.53 pm.
Thane-Vashi/Nerul services will run as per schedule.
On Belapur/Nerul-Kharkopar line, Dn line services leaving Belapur/Nerul from 11.02 am to 3.32 pm and Up line services leaving Kharkopar from 11.30 am to 4.00 pm will remain suspended.

CLOSING OF STAIRCASE OF FOB TO PAY & PARK FROM PLATFORM NO. 1 AT THANE STATION FROM 27.04.2019 TO 26.05.2019
Due to the construction of 1st floor above the existing Pay & Park building adjacent to Platform No. 1 at Thane Railway Station, the existing CSMT end Foot Over Bridge Staircase towards Platform No. 1 through Pay & Park building will be closed from  27.04.2019 to 26.05.2019. Passenger are requested to use the escalators for going down to Platform No.1 from the FOB during the closure period.  Passengers wanted to go to other Platforms and to the east side of Thane Station can use other FOBs available at  Kalyan end of Platform No. 1 during this period.
Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.

Thane - Kalyan Dn Slow Line from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm
Dn Slow/Semi fast line services leaving Mulund station from 10.47 am to 3.50 pm will be diverted o­n Dn fast line between Mulund and Kalyan stations halting at Thane, Diva and Dombivli stations and will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
Up fast/ Semi fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.37 am to 3.06 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule beyond.

Extension of operational Halt at Thane / Kalyan/Karjat Station.
Central Railway has decided to extend operational halts to the following Mail/Express Trains for period of 6 months i.e. upto 14.08.2018.
The details are as under:
12138 Firozpur- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Punjab Mail in Up direction will reach at Thane at 06.48 hours and will leave at 06.50 hours.
11010 Pune- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Sinhgad Express in Up direction will reach at Thane at 09.09 hours and will leave at 09.11 hours.
12110 Manmad-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Panchavati Express in Up direction will reach at Thane at 10.00 hours and leave at 10.02 hours.
22101 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai – Manmad Rajya Rani Express in Dn direction will arrive at Thane at 19.27 hours and leave at 19.29 hours.
18520 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Vishakhapatnam Express in Dn Direction will arrive at Kalyan at 07.40 hours and will leave at 07.42 hours.
17614 Hazur Sahib Nanded-Panvel Express in Up direction will arrive at Karjat at 08.22 hours and leave at 08.23 hours.

Central Railway Press Release
Central Railway has decided to introduce 26 additional suburban services i.e. 10 suburban services o­n Harbour Line and 16 suburban services o­n Trans Harbour Line with effect from 31.1.2018. With introduction of 26 additional services -
·Total services o­n Harbour Line will increase from 604 to 614
·Total services o­n Trans Harbour will increase from 246 to 262
·Total suburban services o­n Mumbai Division of Central Railway will increase from 1706 to 1732.

Extension of operational Halt at Thane / Kalyan Station.
Central Railway has decided to extend operational halts to the following Mail/Express Trains for period of 6 months i.e. upto 30.06.2018.
The details are as under:
1)12138 Ferozepur- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Punjab Mail in Up direction will reach at Thane at 06.48 hours and will leave at 06.50 hours.
2)11010 Pune- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Sinhgad Express in Up direction will reach at Thane at 09.09 hours and will leave at 09.11 hours.
3)12110 Manmad-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Panchavati Express in Up direction will reach at Thane at 10.00 hours and leave at 10.02 hours.
4)22101 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai – Manmad Rajya Rani Express in Dn direction will arrive at Thane at 19.27 hours and leave at 19.29 hours.
5)18520 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Vishakhapatnam Express in Dn Direction will arrive at Kalyan at 07.40 hours and will leave at 07.42 hours.

CENTRAL RAILWAY PRESS RELEASE
Extension of operational Halt at Thane / Kalyan Station.

Central Railway has decided to extend operational halts to the following Mail/Express Trains for period of three months i.e. upto 30.09.2017.
The details are as under:-
1)12138 Ferozpur- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Punjab Mail in Up direction will reach at Thane at 06.46 hours and will leave at 06.48  hours.
2)11010 Pune- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Sinhgad Express in Up direction will reach at Thane at 09.09 hours and will leave at 09.11 hours.
3)12110 Manmad-Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai Panchavati Express in Up direction will reach at Thane at 09.59 hours and leave at 10.01 hours.
4)22101 Chhatrapati Shivaji  Maharaj Terminus Mumbai – Manmad Rajya Rani Express in Dn direction will arrive at Thane at 19.31 hours and leave at 19.32 hours.
5)18520 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Vishakhapatnam Express in Dn Direction will arrive at Kalyan at 07.38 hours and will leave at 07.39 hours.

SPECIAL TRAFFIC BLOCK on TRANS HARBOUR LINE o­n 29.4.2017

Central Railway will operate a special traffic block of o­ne and half hour o­n Up and Dn Trans Harbour Line between Thane and Vashi/Nerul o­n 29.4.2107 from 12.35 hrs to 14.05 hrs for maintenance of Track. Due to this block, following Trans Harbour line services will remain suspended-

DN Trans Harbour Line Services Cancelled o­n 29.4.2017

1. Vashi locals leaving Thane at 12.12 hrs, 12.40 hrs, 13.01 hrs, 13.25 hrs and 13.57 hrs

2. Nerul locals leaving Thane at 12.20 hrs, 13.10 hrs and 13.37 hrs

3. Panvel locals leaving Thane at 12.52 hrs, 13.18 hrs and 14.05 hrs

UP Trans Harbour Line Services Cancelled o­n 29.4.2017

1. Thane locals leaving Vashi at 12.21 hrs, 12.49 hrs, 13.18 hrs, 13.40 hrs and 14.02 hrs

2. Thane locals leaving Nerul at 12.10 hrs, 12.31 hrs, 13.00 hrs and 13.50 hrs

3. Thane locals leaving Panvel at 12.18 hrs and 13.04 hrs

Trans Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Harbour/Main line during the block period.

Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.

Central Railway will operate Mega Block on Main line and Harbour line for carrying out maintenance work o­n 19.02.2017

 THANE - KALYAN DN SLOW LINE FROM 11.20 AM TO 4.20 PM

Dn Slow/Semi fast line services leaving Mulund station from 10.48 am to 4.23 pm will be diverted o­n Dn fast line between Mulund and Kalyan stations halting at Thane, Diva and Dombivli stations and will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

Dn slow locals will not available at Kalva, Mumbra, Kopar and Thakurli stations. Passengers of these stations are allowed to travel via Kalyan, Dombivali and Diva stations

Down fast services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai from 10.20 am to 2.42 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

Up fast trains leaving Kalyan from 11.00 am to 3.08 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup , Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule beyond.

All Dn and Up slow locals leaving / arriving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

KURLA-VASHI UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES FROM 11.10 AM TO 4.10 PM.

Dn Harbour line services to Panvel/Belapur/Vashi leaving from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.35 am to 3.37 pm and Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 10.20 am to 3.48 pm will remain suspended.

However special local trains will run o­n Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus - Kurla and Vashi - Panvel sections during the block period.

Harbour Line passengers are also permitted to travel via Trans-Harbour / Main Line from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling o­n footboard, rooftop of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.

THANE - KALYAN DN FAST LINE FROM 10.30 AM TO 3.30 PM

Down fast & semi-fast services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai from 09.38 am to 2.54 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts.

Down fast trains beyond Thane will be diverted o­n down slow line between Thane and Kalyan halting at all stations and will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.

Up fast/Semi fast line services leaving Thane station from 10.46 am to 3.18 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.

All Dn and Up slow locals leaving / arriving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

KURLA-VASHI UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES FROM 11.10 AM TO 4.10 PM.
