Rail SAARTHI Mobile APP
Indian railway minister Suresh Prabhu launched Rail SAARTHI Mobile App an Indian Railway Integrated App to Book Tickets, Lodge Complaint, Tweet Feedback And Know Train Running Status. The passengers can make their registration at Rail SARTHI App. This is the first mobile application through which the passengers can book unreserved seat tickets. This app will also provide the facility to send the ticket at passengers home. Platform ticket can also be taken through Rail SAARTHI  App. Rail SARATHI App registration can also be made at this app.

Registration of Pilgrims for Shri Amarnath Yatra - 2017 
Shri Amarnathji Yatra -2017 from 29th June to 7th August this year 
The process of registration of pilgrims for Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2017 has commenced from all the Bank Branches from March 01, 2017 onwards. Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board chaired by the Governor, Jammu and Kashmir has issued following procedure for registration of yatris through bank:- 
1.The registration and issue of Yatra Permit (YPs) will be done on first-come-first-serve basis. 
2.One Yatra Permit shall be valid for registering only one Yatri. 
3.Each Registration Branch has been allotted a fixed per day/ per route quota for registering the Yatris. The Registration Branch shall ensure that the number of Yatris registered does not exceed the allotted per day/ per route quota. 
4.No one below the age of 13 years or above the age of 75 years and no lady with more than six week’s pregnancy shall be registered for the Yatra. 
5.Every Yatri will have to submit Application Form and Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) to obtain Yatra Permit for the Yatra. The Formats of the Application Form and CHC, and the list of Doctors/ Medical Institutions authorized to issue CHC are available at SASB’s website- www.shriamarnathjishrine.com. 
6.The Application Form and CHC shall be made available free of cost to the applicant-Yatri by the Registration Branch. 
7.To apply for the Yatra Permit, the applicant-Yatri will submit the following documents to the Registration Officer: 
a)filled-in prescribed Application Form; and
b)prescribed Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) issued on or after Feb 10, 2017 by the Authorized Doctor/ Medical Institution. 
c)four passport sized photographs ( three for Yatra Permits and one for the Application form). 
8.The Registration Officer shall check the following: 
a)whether the Application Form has been correctly filled-in and signed by the applicant Yatri. 
b)whether the CHC has been issued by the Authorized Doctor/ Medical Institution; 
c)whether the CHC has been issued on or after February 10, 2017. 
9.The specific day on which a pilgrim is registered to undertake the Yatra (i.e., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) has been printed on the Yatra Permit. The day printed on the Yatra Permit is the day on which the Yatri will be allowed to cross the Access Control Gates at Baltal and Chandanwari (Pahalgam). 
10.The Bank Branch shall ensure that the date for which the Yatra Permit is issued for crossing the Access Control Gates matches with the day (i.e., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) printed on the Yatra Permit before issuing the Permit to the Yatri. 
11.In the Yatra Permit Forms, the Yatra year and date of Yatra has not been printed. Therefore, it is mandatory for the issuing Bank Branch to stamp / write the Yatra year and date of Yatra and paste the date and year so written/ stamped with a transparent tape (pasting of transparent tape is important in order to make the date and year of Yatra tamper-proof). However, the stamping of the date, year and Bank branch shall be done only at the time of issuance of the Yatra Permit. In no case, should any Yatra Permit be stamped in advance. This aspect be ensured positively. 
12.If the Application Form and CHC are in order, the Registration Officer shall issue a YP to the applicant against a payment of Rs.50/ per Yatra Permit (of the aforesaid amount Rs.35/- will be remitted in SASB’s account and the remaining amount shall be retained by the Bank) after following the steps mentioned in paras 13-16. 
13.The Registration Officer shall affix passport size photographs and fill in the Yatra Permit Form on the spot as per the details mentioned in the Application Form and the CHC. The date of the Yatra be also filled in correctly. 
14.The Registration Officer shall sign the Yatra Permit and apply the Bank Branch Seal on the Yatra Permit in such a way that the Seal is partly imprinted on the photograph of the applicant-Yatri and partly on the YP. However, the stamping of the date, year and Bank Branch shall be done only at the time of issuance of Yatra Permit, in no case, should any Yatra Permit be stamped in advance. This aspect be ensured positively. 
15.Before issuing the Yatra Permit to the applicant-Yatri; the Registration Officer shall record the following particulars: 
a.Date of issue of Yatra Permit
b.The Serial Number of Yatra Permit. 
c.Name, address and telephone/mobile number of the applicant Yatri. 
d.Name of next –of-kin of applicant-Yatri, to be contacted in case of any emergency. 
e.Route of Pilgrimage. 
f.Date of embarking on the Yatra from Baltal/Pahalgam. 
16.The Registration Official shall issue YPs bearing BALTAL for Baltal route and PHALGAM for the Phalgam Route.

Kendriya Vidyalaya admissions 2017: List for Class 1 to be released today

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is expected to release the admission list for Class 1 on Wednesday on its official website.
More than 6 lakh children registered for admissions in Class 1. The registration process that was open for all Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) in the 25 regions started on February 8.
The admission process has been online and cloud based in order to make it transparent.
Due to heavy demand from parents and students for admissions, the KVS extended the last date for registration in Class 1 by 5 days to March 15.

The registration process for Class 2 to 9 will begin in April and admissions for Class 11 in KVs will start after the declaration of the result of CBSE Class 10 board examination.
KVs are centrally funded schools that provide quality education at affordable rates in the country. Over 1.2 million students study in 1,142 KVs across the country.

Registration of Pilgrims for Shri Amarnath Yatra - 2017 begins from tomorrow Shri Amarnathji Yatra -2017 from 29th June to 7th August this year

2.The Registration of Yatris will commence from all the Bank Branches from March 01, 2017   onwards.

Full Tariff Rate (FTR) Registration Procedures


TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR FULL TARIFF RATE(FTR) REGISTRATION

1. Pilot for WR: Online booking of FTR is on pilot basis and currently booking is allowed for journey starting from stations of Western Railway only.

2. Booking Process: FTR registration can be done either on IRCTC website- ftr.irctc.co.in or on UTS counter of journey commencing station.

3. Booking period: FTR registration can be done maximum 6 months in advance and minimum 30 days prior to journey date.

4. Payment realization:

Registration on IRCTC website: Party will provide the booking type, journey details of coaches, and route. After submission of the request, party will get a reference number and registration amount to be paid. Party has to pay the registration amount against provided reference number to get FTR number. Payment of registration amount must be received within 6 days (including FTR request submit day). After 6 days, FTR Reference Number will be flushed and party has to follow the above mentioned process again to book a FTR coach/train.

Registrations on UTS counter: Party will go to CBS (Chief Booking Supervisor)/Station Master (SM) of journey commencing station and provide written request containing journey details for FTR booking. CBS will feed these details in FTR system. CBS will provide a system generated slip to the party. This slip will contain the reference number and registration amount payable by party. Party will go to UTS counter and will deposit the registration money against the reference number. After confirmation of payment, printed money receipt will be provided to party with a unique FTR number printed on it. Party will go to CBS with this FTR number. At CBS counter, party can request and get a printout of his request details by providing the FTR number.

5. Refund process: In case of cancellation, either by party or by railway, refund will be processed as per existing manual process through Chief Commercial Manager (PM).

6. Permissible number of coaches:
    Coach Booking: Party can book maximum 10 numbers of coaches on FTR in a train in one tour programme.

Train Booking: Party can book maximum 24 coaches in FTR train including 2 SLR. 2 SLR coaches are mandatory.

7. Registration Amount:

Coach Booking: Registration amount for booking of a coach up to 7 days of tour journey period is Rs.50,000/- per coach. Beyond 7 days of tour journey period, additional Rs.10,000/- per day/per coach will be payable and added in registration amount.

Train Booking: Registration amount for booking of a train is amount for minimum of 18 coaches (including minimum two SLR coaches) and up to 7 days of tour journey period is Rs.900,000/-. Beyond 18 passenger coaches, additional Rs.50,000/- per coach will be added in the registration amount. For tour period beyond 7 days, additional Rs.10,000/- per day per coach will be added in registration amount.Even for booking of a train with less than 18 coaches, registration amount for 18 coaches as minimum will be charged.

The above amount may change in case of any revision by Ministry of Railways from time to time.

8. Registration of coaches/trains does not guarantee the supply of coaches/trains. This will be subject to the operational feasibility and availability of coaches.
