STATUS & TRAIN NUMBER OF WESTERN RAILWAY 26 MAIL/EXPRESS TRAINS WILL CHANGE TO SUPERFAST

Western Railway in its attempt to provide a convenient and comfortable journey to meet the needs of passengers will speed up its 26 trains in the Time Table coming into effect from 1st October, 2016. The status & train number of 13 pairs of trains of Western Railway will be changed from MAIL/EXPRESS to SUPERFAST in the Time table coming into effect from 1st October, 2016. Re-numbering of these trains will be with effect from the dates mentioned against respective trains given below:-

1)The new train number of 19005 Mumbai Central-Okha Saurashtra Mail will be 22945with effect from 16/11/2016.

2)The new train number of 19006 Okha-Mumbai Central Saurashtra Mail will be 22946with effect from 16/11/2016.

3)The new train number of 19047 Surat-Bhagalpur Bi-Weekly Express will be 22947with effect from 19/11/2016

4)The new train number of 19048 Bhagalpur-Surat Bi-Weekly Express will be 22948with effect from 17/11/2016

5)The new train number of 19029 Bandra (T)-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Weekly Express will be 22949with effect from 16/11/2016

6)The new train number of 19030 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Bandra (T) Weekly Express will be 22950 with effect from 17/11/2016

7)The new train number of 19451 Bandra (T)-Gandhidham Weekly Express will be 22951with effect from 17/11/2016

8)The new train number of 19452 Gandhidham-Bandra (T) Weekly Express will be 22952with effect from 17/11/2016

9)The new train number of 19011 Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Gujarat Express will be 22953with effect from 16/11/2016.

11)The new train number of 19131 Bandra (T)-New Bhuj Kutch Express will be 22955 with effect from 16/11/2016.

12)The new train number of 19132 New Bhuj- Bandra (T) Kutch Express will be 22956 with effect from 16/11/2016.

13)The new train number of 19221 Ahmedabad-Veraval Somnath Express will be 22957 with effect from 16/11/2016.

14)The new train number of 19222 Veraval-Ahmedabad Somnath Express will be 22958 with effect from 16/11/2016.

15)The new train number of 19059 Surat-Jamnagar Intercity Express will be 22959 with effect from 16/11/2016.

16)The new train number of 19060 Jamnagar-Surat Intercity Express will be 22960 with effect from 16/11/2016.

17)The new train number of 29059 Surat-Hapa Weekly Intercity Express will be 22961 with effect from 14/11/2016.

18)The new train number of 29060 Hapa-Surat Weekly Intercity Express will be 22962 with effect from 15/11/2016.

19)The new train number of 19203 Bandra (T)-Bhavnagar Weekly Express will be 22963 with effect from 14/11/2016.

20)The new train number of 19204 Bhavnagar-Bandra (T) Weekly Express will be 22964 with effect from 13/11/2016.

21)The new train number of 19065 Bandra (T)-Bhagat Ki Kothi Weekly Express will be 22965 with effect from 18/11/2016.

22)The new train number of 19066 Bhagat Ki Kothi-Bandra (T) Weekly Express will be 22966 with effect from 19/11/2016.

23)The new train number of 19417 Ahmedabad-Allahabad Weekly Express will be 22967 with effect from 17/11/2016.

24)The new train number of 19418 Allahabad-Ahmedabad Weekly Express will be 22968 with effect from 18/11/2016.

25)The new train number of 19569 Okha-Varanasi Weekly Express will be 22969 with effect from 17/11/2016.

26)The new train number of 19570 Varanasi-Okha Weekly Express will be 22970 with effect from 19/11/2016.

Other details like the change in timings etc will be made available later in the new Time-Table.

WESTERN RAILWAY TO RUN WEEKLY SUPERFAST SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN INDORE & KOCHUVELLI (via VASAI ROAD)

WR TO RUN WEEKLY SUPERFAST SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN INDORE & KOCHUVELLI (via VASAI ROAD)

To clear extra rush, Western Railway has decided to run o­ne Weekly “Superfast” summer special train between Indore and Kochuvelli (via Vasai Road).

·Indore – Kochuvelli (Weekly) “Superfast” special train (06 Services)

Train No. 09310 Indore – Kochuvelli (Weekly) “Superfast” special train will leave Indore at 21.05 hrs o­n every Tuesday and will reach Vasai Road next day (Wednesday) at 11.20 hrs and will reach Kochuvelli at 19.10 hrs o­n third day (Thursday). This train will run from 09th June, 2015 to 23th June, 2015.

Similarly, Train No. 09309 Kochuvelli  - Indore (Weekly) “Superfast” special train will leave Kochuvelli  at 11.00 hrs o­n every Friday and will reach Vasai Road the next day (Saturday) at 16.30 hrs and will reach Indore at 07.25 hrs o­n third day (Sunday). This train will run from 12th June, 2015 to 26th June, 2015.

It will have AC 2 Tier, AC 3 tier, Second Class sleeper & Second Class General coaches. 

This train will halt at Dewas, Ujjain, Nagda, Ratlam, Dahod, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Boisar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Udupi, Mangalore Jn. Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Jn., Allepey, Kayankulam and Kollam  stations in both the directions.

 The booking of Train No.09310 Indore- Kochuvelli weekly Superfast special train will open o­n 31st May, 2015.

BETWEEN HUBLI-CHENNAI-HUBLI STATIONS (Tr. Nos.07324/07323)
FOR 16 TRIPS IN EACH DIRECTION TO CLEAR EXTRA RUSH DURING SUMMER

South Western Railway has decided to continueto run Bi-Weekly Express Special Trainsbetween HUBLI-CHENNAI-HUBLI (Train Nos.07324/07323) (Via Bellary, Guntakal & Renigunta),for 36 trips in each direction, for four months, to clear extra rush of traffic, as per the following existing timings, stoppages and other details:--

Accordingly, Train No.07324 HUBLI-CHENNAI BI-WEEKLY EXPRESS SPECIAL will depart from HUBLI at20-20 hrs. on Monday & Wednesdays, commencing from 01st June, 2015 to 30th September, 2015 and arrive at CHENNAI Station at11-00 hrs., the next day. (Total : 36 Specials only).

En route, the Bi-Weekly Express Special will depart at Gadag at 21-45/21-47 hrs; Koppal at 22-48/22-50 hrs; Hospet at 23-25/23-30 hrs; Tornagallu at 00-10/00-12 hrs; Bellary at 00-50/00-55 hrs; Guntakal at 01-50/01-55 hrs; Gooty at 02-35/02-45 hrs; Tadipatri at 03-20/03-22 hrs; Muddanuru at 04-12/04-14 hrs; Yerraguntala at 04-28/04-30 hrs; Cuddapah at 05-20/05-22 hrs; Nandalur at 06-00/06-02 hrs; Rajampet at 06-20/06-22 hrs; Koduru at 06-45/06-47 hrs; Renigunta at 08-10/08-25 hrs.; and arrive/depart at Arakkonam at 09-33/09-35 hrs. on Tuesdays & Thursdays. 

In the return direction, Train No.07323 CHENNAI-HUBLI BI-WEEKLY EXPRESS SPECIALwill depart at CHENNAI station at13-15 hrs. on Tuesday & Thursdays, commencing from 02nd June, 2015 to 01st October, 2015 and arrive at HUBLI station at 05-00 hrs., the next day. (Total : 36 Specials only).

En route, the Bi-Weekly Express Special will depart at Arakkonam at 14-23/14-25 hrs; Renigunta at 15-50/16-05 hrs; Koduru at 16-48/16-50 hrs; Rajampet at 17-10/17-12 hrs; Nandalur at 17-28/17-30 hrs; Cuddapah at 18-10/18-12 hrs; Yerraguntla at 19-03/19-05 hrs; Muddanuru at 19-20/19-22 hrs; Tadipatri at 20-15/20-17 hrs; Gooty at 22-00/22-02 hrs; Guntakal at 22-45/22-50 hrs; Bellary at 00-30/00-35 hrs; Tornagallu at 01-10/01-12 hrs; Hospet at 02-00/02-05 hrs; Koppal at 02-50/02-52 hrs; and arrive/depart at Gadag at 03-50/ 03-52 hrs.on Wednesdays & Firdays. 

TheBi-Weekly Express Special will have Total 16 Coaches,consisting One AC 2-tier coach,One AC 3-tier coach, Six Second Class Sleeper coaches, Six General Second Class coaches andTwo Second Class luggage-cum-brake vans-cum-Disabled coaches.

Govt mulls minimum 200 Km between two halts for Mail, Express trains

Bareilly (BE): The government today said in order to ensure smooth and safe travel by the rail passengers, it was planning that mail and express trains travels a minimum of 200 kms between two stations.

Union Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha, who was here to highlight the achievements of BJP-led NDA government and lay foundation stone for shade of DEMU trains, also said that the ministry was sensitive towards safe and smooth travel of passengers.

He said passengers reach their destination safely was a priority and maximum facilities were being provided by increasing the frequency of rail traffic.

He said high-level changes were being made in the internal system to check rail accidents and the Centre has spent Rs 1 lakh crore on railways in the last one year.

The government has set a target of Rs 8.5 lakh crore investment during its tenure of five years.

The minister, who was here to highlight one year achievements of BJP-led NDA government and lay foundation stone of shade of DEMU trains, said the ministry was sensitive towards safe and smooth travel of passengers.

He said that Rs 37.4 crore would be spent on building the DEMU shade.

He said that 10 DEMU trains would operate in place of 32 passenger trains operated by Izzatnagar division and it would be a gift to the people.

SCR to Run Superfast Tatkal Special Train from Secunderabad to Patna; Superfast Special Train from Patna to Secunderabad

SCR to Run Superfast Tatkal Special Train from Secunderabad to Patna; Superfast Special Train from Patna to Secunderabad

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during the summer season, South Central Railway will run two Special Trains between Secunderabad-Patna as detailed below:-

1.Train No. 02791 Secunderabad – Patna Superfast Tatkal Special Train

Train No. 02791 Secunderabad – Patna Superfast Tatkal Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 08:35 am on 29th May, 2015 (Friday) and arrive Patna at 04:10 pm on the next day.

Advance reservations for the superfast tatkal special train mentioned above will commence tomorrow i.e. 21stMay, 2015. 

2.Train No. 02792 Patna – Secunderabad Superfast Special Train

Train No. 02792 Patna – Secunderabad superfast special train will depart Patna at 01:30 pm on 31st May, 2015 (Sunday) and arrive Secunderabad at 10:10 pm on the next day.

Enroute, both these trains will stop at Kazipet, Peddapalli, Ramagundam, Mancherial, Bellampalli, Sirpurkaghaznagar, Ballarshah, Chandrapur, Sevagram, Nagpur, Katol, Pandhurna, Betul, Ghoradongri, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Cheoki, Mughal Sarai and Baxar stations in both the directions.

These trains will comprise of 21 coaches viz., two AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, twelve Sleeper Class, three General Second Class, and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

Superfast special train from Chennai Central to Coimbatore

The following special trains will be run to clear the extra rush of traffic in Chennai Central – Coimbatore sector.

1. Superfast special train from Chennai Central to Coimbatore

Train No.06032 Chennai Central – Coimbatore superfast special train will leave Chennai Central at 22.30 hrs. on 22.05.2015 & 29.05.2015 and reach Coimbatore at 06.40 hrs. the next day.

Composition of the train: AC 2-tier – 1, AC 3-tier – 2, Sleeper Class – 12& Luggage-cum-brake van – 2.

The train will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur and Coimbatore North.

2. PREMIUM superfast special train from Coimbatore to Chennai Central

Train No.00604 Coimbatore – Chennai Central PREMIUM superfast special train will leave Coimbatore at 23.30 hrs. on 24.05.2015 & 31.05.2015 and reach Chennai Central at 07.15 hrs. the next day.

Composition of the train: AC 2-tier – 1, AC 3-tier – 2, Sleeper Class – 12 & Luggage-cum-brake van – 2.

The train will stop at Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai and Arakkonam.

Advance reservations for the above trains will commence on 16.05.2015.

Railways to operate Summer Specials between Indore-Kochuveli on Konkan route

Mangalore (MAQ): A superfast special train will be run between Indore – Kochuveli – Indore during summer season via Konkan Railway route to clear extra rush of passengers in co-ordination with Western Railway.

Train 09310 Indore – Kochuveli will be run on April 14, 21, 28, May 05, 12, 19, 26, and June 02. The train will leave Indore on Tuesdays at 9.05pm and reach Kochuveli at 7.10pm on Thursday. Train 09309 Kochuveli – Indore will be run on April 17, 24, May 01, 08, 15, 22, 29, and June 05. The train will leave from Kochuveli on Fridays at 11am and reach Indore at 5.15am on Sundays.

The train will have 17 coaches and will halt at Dewas, Ujjain, Nagda, Ratlam, Dahod, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Boisar, Vasai Road ,Panvel, Roha, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Udupi, Mangaluru junction, Kasargod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Junction, Allepy, Kayankulam and Kollam stations.

SUPER FAST EXPRESS SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN ANAND VIHAR T.- ALLAHABAD (SINGLE TRIP IN EACH DIRECTION)

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, Railway has decided to run single trip (in each direction) of Super fast Express special train no. 04117/04118 between Allahabad- Anand Vihar T.- Allahabad as per the following programme: -

The 04117 Allahabad- Anand Vihar T. Superfast Express Special Train will depart from Allahabadat 11.45 p.m. o­n 10.08.2014 (single trip) to reach Anand Vihar T. at 09.45 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, the 04118Anand Vihar T.- Allahabad Superfast Express Special Train will depart from Anand Vihar T.at 11.30 a.m. o­n 11.08.2014 (single trip) to reach Allahabad at 09.15 p.m. the same day.

Consisting of A.C. 2 Tier, A.C. 3 Tier, Sleeper class & general class coaches, the 04117/04118 Allahabad- Anand Vihar T.- Allahabad Super fast Express Special Train will stop at Fatehpur, Kanpur,Etawah, Tundla, Aligarh & Ghaziabad stations en route.
