Women are proving their capabilities in large networks like Indian Railways by managing their responsibilities efficiently in every department of Railways. It is a step towards empowering women to show that they too are capable of handling crucial safety related works in train operations.
Purona Sobha, Track Maintainer of Norla Road Station in remote Kalahandi District of Odisha, Belo and Ahalya Bari, Track Maintainer in remote areas in Raipur-Titlagarh-Rayagada-Vizianagaram rail line are the unsung heroes of East Coast Railway who have dedicated their life for safety in train operations.
