ADDITIONAL 10792 AC BERTHS CREATED

To clear the extra rush of passengers during summer Eastern Railway will attach additional air-conditioned coaches in important mail/express trains ex Howrah from April 9, 2016 and ex Sealdah from May 13, 2016 till July 01, 2016. As a result, as many as 10792 additional air-conditioned berths have been created to clear the summer rush attaching more 186 air-conditioned coaches.

The trains which are attached with additional air-conditioned coaches are : 

• 12249/12250 Howrah-Ananda Vihar Yuva Express (1 AC 2-tier coach o­n nominated days), 
• 22309/22310 Howrah-NJP AC Express (1 AC 2-tier coach o­n nominated days), 
• 12259/12260 Sealdah-New Delhi Duranto Express (1 AC 2-tier coach on nominated days), 
• 12377/12378 Sealdah-New Jalpaiguri Padatik Express (1 AC 3-tier coach), 
• 13425/13426 Malda-Surat Express (1 AC 3-tier coach on nominated days).
